I appreciate that song. He was playing while I go on the organ. Now you may not have noticed, but if you’ve been in the military, you marched to that. But I can still, I went all the way back to 1959, 1959 in boot camp, marching. If I loved anything about boot camp, it was the marching. I loved the marching. But anyway, it’s good to be with you again. I told him this morning that we was traveling down the road in our motorhome and we had what we called Himalayan chicken because we found Himalayan on the road.

It was the only joke I had and I told in Sunday school I had to tell it again. In case you never had any Himalayan chicken. I love America. I love living here. I think it’s great. I’m glad I was born here. I am an American. And I’m glad that when I trusted Christ in my Savior, I did not cease to be an American. I did not cease to be a citizen of this great country. I am still here.

And I want to share some things with you that I hope that you’ll understand and appreciate Because there’s a lot of people who really don’t honor our veterans that have died for this country. There’s people who really think that they should have never fought in the first place. I think we owe them so much for the freedoms that we have. So easy to take everything for granted. But I believe we’re close to losing the freedoms that they died for.

The thing that separated us from so many countries, They died to protect us from we’re slowly becoming like those nations. And that’s a shame. When we become like the other nations, we dishonor our veterans who died to make us different to give us freedom. And what really breaks my heart is to see so many people not willing to fight for their country. I want to explain a few things to you. The title of this sermon, if you want to have a title, is called Heads We Win, Tails We Lose.

Isn’t that an easy one? I used to always trick the kids when I would flip a coin. Heads I win tells you lose, and they never figured it out. They never figured it out, what I said. But I want you to take your Bible and turn to the book of Deuteronomy in chapter 28, Deuteronomy and chapter 28. long ago a memo was leaked about the homegrown terrorist in America accusing those on the extreme right of being terrorists in our country and that they need to be watching us.

Because when you say extreme right, I am extreme as right as you can get. I don’t know if you can get any further to the right than what I get. tie even leans to the right. When I walk, I lean to the right. And they came out with a list of even talking about the veterans and even those who are coming back from the war have been considered a possibility for being a terrorist, a homegrown terrorist in our country.

For those that are against abortion or if you’re against the sodomites, if you’re against those things, then you’re on the extreme right, and you are a terror to our country. Now I’m not making this up. This just came out not long ago. There’s been a lot of people talk about it, but I’m not going to get into all of that stuff. But I want to tell you about why I believe that as we win and as we lose. Here in the book of Deuteronomy, God gave us the story of a nation, the nation of Israel, a unique nation risen up by the Almighty watchful eye of God.

And it makes a statement here in Deuteronomy chapter 28, if you will, look there in the verse 12. The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto the land in his season, and to bless all the work of thy hand. Thou shalt lend unto many nations, thou shalt not borrow.” Let me read that one more time. Thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.” I mentioned one time that this is God’s stimulus package.

This is the book that we’re supposed to go by to run our homes and our churches and our government. And if we will abide by the Bible, it will work. Truth doesn’t change. This is truth. And he says in verse 13, And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail, and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath. If thou harken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day to observe and to do them, if you will do what I say do, God said, I’m going to bless you.

none of the diseases of the heathens and the Egyptians upon you. I’ll watch over and our protect. They still had a king. They had an army. They were to fight for their land. It’s strange how many times it seemed like I hear Christians say, well, if our kingdom was of this world, we would fight. But since our kingdom is not of this world, we’re not supposed to fight. I know that scripture. I even know who said it. There’s something inside of me that goes back when I read about our founding fathers, how that it was the man of God, the preacher in the pulpit that had his Bible on the podium and is musket by the podium, that rallied the the people together to say, this is our country and it’s our freedom and it’s our future and it’s our kids and it’s our grandkids and they were willing to fight for our country.

But 200 years later, we can’t do that because after all, we’re Christians. They weren’t. We can honor the dead who gave us this land, fought for this land, but we can’t do the same to keep this land and to fight for our freedoms. I told someone just this the other day. I would be greatly disappointed, greatly disappointed that if fifty years from now my grandkids Could, if I was still alive, look me square in the eye and say, Grandpa, why didn’t you do something about it?

We’ve lost all of our freedoms. We’re totally a socialistic country or a communist country. We’re ruled by a dictator or taken over by some foreign power. And they did it without firing a shot. Nobody did anything because you all were Christians. Are we supposed to believe that only the lost people fought during the Revolutionary War? It was only the lost people fought during the Civil War or the war between the states? It was only the lost people that fought all these battles for us.

Only the lost people went in World War I and went to Vietnam War and the Gulf War, only the lost people fought for our freedoms. And it’s okay for them to bleed and die for our country, but don’t let a Christian do it, huh? There’s something inside of me that says, that ain’t right. And I don’t believe that. Here in the book of Deuteronomy in chapter 28, look in verse 43. He’s telling the nation of Israel. God has already done had his word with Moses and Moses has wrote it down.

It says, when you get into the land, remember what I tell you. He says, if you’ll do what I tell you to do, everything will work. You go against me, it’s going to go against you. He says in verse 43, the stranger that is within thee, get this, these are strangers that are within them. They’re not citizens. They’re not citizens, they’re strangers in your land. Ones that you didn’t take care of when you went in there. They had kids and they grew and they multiplied.

The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high and thou shall come down very low. He shall lend to thee, and thou shall not lend to him. He shall be the head, and thou shall be the tail. Things are gonna get reversed. And then he says, when that doesn’t solve the total problem, he says, some other things are going to happen. In verse 45, more over all these curses shall come upon thee and shall pursue thee and overtake thee till thou be what?

Until you destroyed, because thou hearketh not unto the voice of the Lord thy God to keep his commandments and the statutes which he commanded thee, and they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder and upon thy seed forever. because thou serveeth not the Lord thy God with joyfulness and with all gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things therefore shall thou serve thine enemies which the Lord shall send against thee in hunger and in thirst and in nakedness and in want of all things and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck until he have destroyed you.

Ask the people of America if they’re beginning to feel the weight of the iron. If it isn’t true that things are changing and that people are going to lose jobs and lose their security and lose so much and every time the Congress meets we’re in jeopardy of our freedom because they’re passing laws that takes away from the good people that work and provide and give it to those who will not work and will not provide as I read this article and I’m talking about our country.

We live here. When I trusted Christ as my Savior, I didn’t just get zapped out of here and I’m in heaven now. I still, when I looked in that mirror before I trusted Christ as my Savior and I was ugly and I looked in that mirror afterwards, I was still ugly. Some things have not changed. I still live in America and I still got a wife and I I still got children and I still got responsibilities. Let’s just pretend for a moment I’m a lost man.

Here’s my wife and I got some kids. I’m lost. It’s my responsibility I believe to provide for my family. My responsibility to see that my kids are educated. It’s my responsibility to feed them and to clothe them. It’s not the next door neighbors, not the person in next county, the next state, and it’s not government’s responsibility to take care of my family at all. Mine. You see, what are a man’s rights? Rights are to fulfill God-given responsibilities. What am I responsible for?

Before there was government, what am I responsible for? to take care of my wife and my kids and give them leadership and to protection that they need. And if another person wants to harm my family, it’s my duty, my responsibility, my right to blast them in the kingdom come. You say, I don’t like that. You ought to be thankful for what I hold back.

I have a responsibility, and I want the right to fulfill that responsibility. If I trust Christ as my Savior, because now I am a citizen of the Kingdom of Light, I’m not part of this world anymore. I’m still a man and a body. Did my wife cease to be my wife? Do my kids cease to be my kids? Because in the family of God, there’s neither male nor female. When I looked in that mirror, I’m still a male, and every much a man.

And this didn’t change. They still need to be fed. They still need to be clothed. They still need an education. And they still need protection. And I believe that as my God-given responsibility to protect just as much as a lost man would have the right to protect his. Since when, just because I’m a Christian, I don’t have to do that anymore. I don’t have to protect anymore. Yes, I do. As long as I’m in this body, I’ll have that right.

As long as I’m living in this world, I have that right. And it is my duty. And I thank God for every Christian that has volunteered to go into the military and to fight for their country to give them the freedom that they want to have and all I have. But we have a bunch of panty-way sissies out there that don’t believe in that anymore. A bunch of pacifists. Anyway I think my convictions are slowly leaking out here. But it greatly concerns me because you see the Bible tells us some things that’s going to happen and I don’t like the direction that it’s going.

But I have all we can do is pray, all we can do is pray. But take your Bible and look at this verse. Look in verse 49, The Lord shall bring a nation against thee from far. From the end of the earth, as swift as the evil fly is the nation whose tongue thou shall not understand. A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old nor show favor to the young. And he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle and the fruit of thy land, and thou shalt be destroyed.

And right now we have the substance of America been drained dry, been milked dry. It’s like a woman goes down there to milk the cow. And the government has done got five of those others, and you only got one other. And they’re milking her for all she’s worth. And they’re milking our jobs. And they’re milking everything that you’ve ever saved. and they’re milking the value of your homes. And right now, every dollar they print is making the one you got in your pocket worth less.

So you’re joking. No, I’m not joking. They’re destroying our country. We’re going into socialism. That is not what this country was founded upon. We’re not a democracy. We are a republic. And we ought to be proud that we are a republic. And it ain’t over yet. We should love our country and love our freedom that we’re willing to stand and to fight for our freedoms But he says now listen if you don’t listen to me, this is what’s gonna happen He says a nation of fierce countenance in verse 50 is gonna come and they’re gonna eat the fruit of the cattle in the fruit of a land Looking verse 52 and he shall be seized the on all thy gates Until the high and the fence walls come down were endowed trust us throughout thy land, and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all the land which the

Lord thy God giveth thee, and shall eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters. You talking about it gets so bad that the people would boil their own children and eat their own kids. And when Babylon came this is exactly what took place because they disobeyed God. You can’t live as a nation and get away with it and live any way you please. There’s a price to pay. Pay day someday, and America’s gonna pay for the things that we have allowed to happen in this country.

Sodomy is gonna be a hate word one day, and this preacher is gonna wind up in jail one day because I’m still against abortion, I call it murder. I’m still against the sodomite, though I love them. God can save them and they can have eternal life, but it’s a sin of which God is judges country. And that’s gonna be a hate crime. And they’ve got legislation right now to put guys like me all across this country behind bars. And that’s not a joke either.

We’re losing the right to say what we believe is the truth. Well, I’m not dead yet. And I’m gonna fight it every bit of the way and go into death if I have to. I love living, I love life. I love the Word of God, but I believe too many of God’s people have done gone to sleep. Because we’re not having so much today is to face an enemy from without. We’ve got the enemy on the inside. And little do you understand how close you live to this enemy.

The enemy is the person that probably lives next door. It could be the person sitting right beside you in Sunday school this morning, we’re in church service right now. The person that bags your groceries or the person down at the bank. So how do they become my enemy? When they vote away your rights. When they elect people who will vote to give them something and take it from those who produce, they’re destroying our country. That’s an enemy on the inside.

and America will be destroyed without the people ever firing a shot. I heard about a movie one day, I never saw it, called White Men Can’t Jump. Anybody ever heard of that movie? White Men Can’t Jump has something to do with basketball, and that the black guys can out-junk the white guys. The white guy can’t jump. Well, I was on our title sermon one day called White Men Can’t Jump. It has not to do with racism, but it What it has to do with the water, the spoiling, and you take a frog and you throw that frog into that boiling water and you’ll jump right out of there.

But if you put that frog into some cold water and then turn the heat up little by little, it’ll finally get to where it’ll cook that frog because he won’t jump out. We’ve been like putting a pressure cooker. And little by little, this country of ours is turning up the heat and we have lost the will to jump.

We can’t jump. In other words, we can’t get out of this mess. How can we get out of the situation that we’re in? Nobody knows how. Washington is not our answer. It is part of our problem. But they’re the problem because the people are the problem who put them there. And I don’t care if it’s Republican or Democrat or footwash and aberrations. I don’t care who they are. If we had men of character that knew right from wrong, who knew what the Constitution said and go by it, pretend for a moment, I’m in a bad neighborhood.

So in this bad neighborhood, I got me a pit bull and I got him on a leash. Now I feel safer as I walk down the sidewalk. because that pit bull loves me, hates them. And they try to get me, my pit bull gonna get them. But I gotta leash. When the founding of this country took place, we developed what we call a Congress. We had a judicial system, the executive branch, you know, the House of Representatives and the Senators.

And so we created this thing, our own little pit bull, so that it could protect us from the enemy out there. But we got him on a lease. This lease is called our Constitution. And the Constitution is the change by which we bind our pit bull. Saying you can’t go no further than this chain allows you to go. So, the Constitution is to change upon Congress and what you can and cannot do. And we listed it, saying, this is what you have the freedom to do.

When you get outside of that boundary, that becomes a null and voided law. People in America that they think, think, whatever they pass, we’re supposed to obey. No. We are to challenge every law that they pass. And if it’s not a constitutional law, it is the right. It is the duty of every American citizen to violate that law, not obey that law, because it’s a wrong law. But the only way they can do us is to make sure that we have some kids come up come up that don’t know their constitution, don’t know their rights, don’t understand.

And then whatever he feeds me, I will swallow. Nope. And the people don’t know how to think. They have been dumbed down. Thanks to the parents and then their children. Remember, I am an evangelist. I not only want to win souls, I warn people. I think I see a little bit further down the road to what most people do. I see where we came from, where we’re going, I see where we are. It breaks my heart to cause I see what was being done.

And sometimes the naivety of the people that don’t seem to understand the situation, but see that old pit bull, then broke loose from the Constitution. And buddy, they’re ravaging everybody. That pit bull has unturned on its owner. Let me make sure you understand. See we’re different from most countries. The Bible talks about every soul be subject unto the higher power. The higher power is God. Every soul is subject to God. No legislative branch of any government has the right to pass any law that conflicts with God’s law.

And when the disciples who says obey every law and every ordinance of man, obey the law until that law violated God’s law. And then they said, here we stand, we can do no other. And it meant going to jail, they went to jail. And Paul was beheaded because he took the right, I am a legal citizen, freeborn citizen of Rome. He said, I appeal to Caesar. He knew the law, he knew his rights. And that’s why he wound up in Rome.

Went to court, lost his case, lost his head. But Paul was a great man, great patriot. We are living at the most exciting time of all of human history. And one day, our children are going to wonder why didn’t we stop it from happening? Is America gone to sleep? Wake up, America. Christians wake up. This is our country. We dishonor our veterans when we won’t preserve the country of which they died for. We become a joke. I hope you understand what I’m saying.

Take your Bible and turn to the book of Romans in chapter 13. Romans chapter 13 says in verse one let every soul be subject unto the higher power. For there is no power but of God, the powers that be ordained of God, whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God, and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works but to the evil. Will thou not be afraid of the power?

Do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same. For he is the minister of God to thee for good. For if thou do that which is evil, be afraid. For he beareth not the sword in vain. For he is the minister of God a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. This is the purpose, the legitimate purpose of government. And we pay taxes for our government. But remember in America, we do not have a king.

We do not have a Caesar. In America, you and I are the rulers and we are the kings. Washington, those are our servants, not our rulers. They’re not, there’s a king and they’re not, there’s the rule of America. We rule. We are freeborn, free people. We’re not in slavery. And we created a government to fulfill their responsibility to protect this country, not to roll us. They have no authority. You can’t find it in the Constitution. I’ve read it, I’ve studied it, I’ve taught it.

The thing that they’re doing today is not in the Constitution. It is illegal. They have no authority to do what they’re doing.
