I want to talk to you about some things this morning that I hope will be a blessing to you. or turning your Bible to the book of Daniel chapter nine. Daniel chapter nine. I wanna speak this morning on my two witnesses. The two witnesses that are described in the book of Zachariah and chapter four in Revelation in chapter 11 is to me the pastor’s dream of power. In other words, when somebody doesn’t do what you want the dude, zap.

Wouldn’t that be neat? Fire from heaven. Get him. You know, if somebody says something, you don’t like it, take care of it, just like that. And bring whatever plagues you want on anybody, any nation, any legislative body, all at one time, well, wouldn’t that be power? Now I know why God won’t let me be one of them.

I would probably think that I was God’s a avenging angel. Lord, let me zap anybody who’s not doing right by you, okay? I don’t want nobody to do me that way though. But these two guys have got it made. They are invincible. They couldn’t kill them until God was ready at the right time. If anybody ever wonders whether or not, you know, is the Bible true, I want you to listen this morning. If there’s any reason why you say, well, I can’t trust Christ as my Savior because I don’t believe I need one.

I don’t believe in heaven and hell. I don’t believe in God. I don’t believe the Bible is true. Well, you’re not the first one. There’s been a lot of people that held that view. But as I read the Bible and study the facts, I find out that it has a lot of evidence, that demands a verdict. And I come down on the side of it has to be true. Man could not have written this book. Oh, God used a man to write, but he was the author.

This book is real. This book is true. I believe it from cover to cover. I even believe the cover. Here in the book of Daniel in chapter nine, the children of Israel had been beaten up a little bit and taken out of their land, taken to the place of Babylon. They were in captivity. And Ezekiel was one of the prophets there and also Daniel was there and Daniel found out by reading the book of Jeremiah that they were going to be there for 70 years.

He got it already told them this in advance. You’re going to be there 70 years. Well, 70 years they get to go back. just like God said. Now, here in Daniel chapter nine, look there in verse 24. He’s a 70 weeks are determined upon thy people, that’s Israel, upon thy holy city, that’s Jerusalem, to finish the transgression or the judgment that God has bringing upon the nation of Israel and captivity, an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity.

In other words, a payment for sin. God is prophesying in His word that there’s going to be a payment for sin, and then bring in everlasting righteousness and to seal up the prophecy and to to anoint the most holy. So that’s what God’s Word says. That’s a prophecy. He’s telling us in advance how many years it’s going to be from the time they issued the decree to go back to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple that was destroyed until the Messiah, when he comes and he’ll be cut off.

So from the time in the Old Testament, when Christ came and was cut off, would be 483 years. He died right on schedule. If a person wants to know if the Bible is true, lucky guess, huh? Just a lucky guess. It never happened to nobody else. The prophecy was always far enough in advance to those who gave the prophecy could have nothing to do with its fulfillment. So Jesus Christ came right on schedule, born right on schedule, in the fullness of time made of a woman.

He was born into this world. And it says that He was born King of the Jews. Behold this day is born unto you in the city of David a Savior which is Christ the Lord Jesus Christ came the first time just like he said right on schedule and he died right on schedule At the right time He was the Passover lamb the lamb of the world that takes away the sin of the world So the Bible says Christ came just like it was prophesied now look what else he says here He says there’s a seven-year period.

See, when Christ died, there were 70 weeks, 69 took it up to the cross. There’s one week left. One week was seven years. Seven, sevens is what we get, you know, the years from. And so there were 70 weeks, so 70 times seven is 490 years total. 483 to here. So that means there’s one, seven-year period left. and that’s why this is called the 7-year tribulation all this in here is the church age because He was rejected so the kingdom was shoved that into the future you didn’t want the king can’t have the kingdom, but it was a legitimate offer and so now God is doing another thing he’s taken individual believing Jews and Gentiles and making a new body, a church.

And that’s why for the last 2000 years we have the church age called the church age or the time of grace. It’s a different period of time than how God deals with men concerning responsibilities and so on. So we know that after the seven-year tribulation period, because everything’s about the making of the reconciliation, the payment for sin, and then the completion, and then the millennial reign of Christ upon the earth to anoint the king from heaven Christ coming back.

All this is mentioned in the Old Testament. Now these days have happened just like God said. So now the world must get ready for this seven year period of time. Because whenever the Lord comes for you and I, called the rapture, we’re going to be caught up out of this earth. And God says this seven year period of time, and this could just slide back over here, and it flows right on through like it was never a break. Israel is God’s timetable, God’s timepiece.

Now look in verse 26, after three score and two weeks shall the Messiah be cut off. So it’s telling us when the Messiah is coming and he’s going to be cut off. This is in advance. Now you think it’s just a lucky guess? No. God knows the future and he tells them. Now unless you can figure out another way how they could have known this. Oh that’d be great. But there is no other way. God had to do this.

And then look what he says. The temple is going to be destroyed. So the Messiah is going to come, Christ. Temple will be destroyed and he was cut off and get down here in verse 27. And he, this is the prince that shall come, the anti-Christ, referred to up in verse 26, he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week. One week, there was 70 of them total, 69 are gone, one week left and the Antichrist is going to make a peace treaty, a covenant with the nation of Israel for one week.

That is right ahead of us. That’s why we’ve had a bunch of presidents trying to get Israel in the Arab nations to have peace. Isn’t it amazing? It’s the only ones that you’re trying to do this with. After all these years, 2,000 years and before 400 years, 500 Cheers! And we’re living in a time when the nations of the world are trying to have this so-called peace in the Middle East. And it all boils down to a little obitination like Israel.

But the whole world revolves around what happens in the Middle East. And a lot of the troubles that happen right now with America and the bombing over there in Afghanistan or Iraq, all that stuff that’s going on is because of the nation of Israel. Because of our position with Israel. It’s not just a coincidence. It’s part of fulfillment of Scripture. God said this is going to happen. And it says, and all the nations of the earth will be gathered together one day against Israel.

It’s not going to be long. Even America will turn on Israel. Every nation, but there’s going to be a peace treaty made first, but it’ll be a false treaty. They won’t keep their word. Can’t believe that. Can’t believe they’re I have a tree and nobody keep their word. Just like we wanna take and have this treaty with Russia. You can trust Russia. I wouldn’t trust the bear or a rattlesnake. Now let me be president. I know how few things or how I could solve a few things, but not today.

But there’s going to be a peace tree. And in the middle part of that, what it says, he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week. And in the midst of the week, he shall call the sacrifice to stop. So that means during this period of time, The temple will be rebuilt. The Antichrist is going to come on the same. And he’s going to plant his palace in the Holy Land. Look there in chapter 11. Chapter 11, look at verse 41.

The Antichrist is going to come on the same. And verse 41, he said, who’s the Antichrist? He is going to be the head of the last world government. You see, the nations of the earth are going to come together and form a world government. You say, nah. Yeah. Aren’t you excited about that? I’m not. But I know it’s going to happen and I know what’s going to happen afterwards. They’re not going to bring in a utopia. They’re not going to bring in peace, but it’ll be a false peace for the first 30 and a half years.

So, in the midst of the seven years, the first part of it is going to be a takeover, a promise of peace and people given their power and this man’s going to come in and he’s going to go into the temple in Jerusalem and he’s going to claim he is God and demand that people worship him. So he’s going to be anti-God, anti-Christ. That’s why we call him an anti-Christ, because he makes himself God. Now in verse 41, he shall enter also into the glorious land.

That’s Israel. Many other countries shall be overthrown and these shall escape out of his his hand even eat him in Moab and the chief of the children of Ammon. He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries and the land of Egypt shall not escape, but he shall have power over the treasure of the gold of the in silver and blah blah blah blah. Goes on down there, verse 44, but tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him.

He shall go forth with great fear to destroy and utter to take away many. Verse 45, and he shall plant the tabernacle of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain. The seas is talking about the Dead Sea and the Mediterranean Sea and in between, in the mist, a place called Israel, a place called Jerusalem, a place called the Temple, a place called Mount Moriah. He is going to plant his tabernacle and he’s going to claim that he is God.

So that day is coming. That’s right ahead of us. The world is in a mess. They’re looking for a Superman, some place along the way to kind of deliver us from this devastating dilemma that we’re in. Now take your Bible and turn to the book of Zechariah. Zechariah just turned to your right, book of Zechariah, and chapter 4. Zechariah chapter 4. And look there in verse 11. verse 11 says, then answered I and sent unto him. What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick?

And upon the left side thereof, and I answered again and said unto him, what be these two olive branches, which through the two golden pipes emptied the golden oil out of themselves in verse 13? And he answered me and said, Noah shall not what these be?” And I said, no, my Lord. Then said, these are the two anointed ones that stand by the Lord, Jehovah, God of the whole earth. So God has got two men coming into the world.

When you read that, you said, where do they go? I mean, when is this going to happen? That’s going to be during the tribulation period right here. God has got two men. A lot of people try to figure out who they are. I don’t care who they are. Some say it could be maybe John, because he says he’s going to prophesy again. Some say it could be Moses, and it might be Elijah. It may be. Whoever they are, they have got the dream job.

Because they are like, supermen in this world. God’s going to send two men into this world from, I believe, out of space, a place called heaven, and they’re coming here. Two men. And they’re going to represent the Lord. And through their ministry, it probably will be where the 144,000 will hear the gospel and believe on the Lord. And that will be 12,000 from every tribe of the nation of Israel. So that is coming. So take your Bible and I’ll turn to the book of Revelation chapter 11.

Revelation chapter 11. Here’s John, he’s an old man, about 90 years of age up in heaven. He was caught up and God showed him the future because everybody wants to know what’s going to happen next. Well John was curious, he was out there on on the allapatmas exiled because of his testimony for the Lord and God revealed these things to him. He wrote them down into a book and the book of Daniel cannot be understood without the book of revelation.

So that’s why these two books go together so well. One can see only one reveals, but look there in the book of Revelation. You can tell which one reveals. This is the book of revelation, reveal, and look there in verse one. He says, and there was given to me a read, like unto a rod, and the angel stood, saying, rise and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and then that worshiped therein, and the court that is without the temple, leave out and measure it not, for it is given unto the Gentiles, for the holy city shall they tread into foot, forty and two months.

How long is forty-two months, three and a half years. You can figure it out if you want to. It’s three and a half years, 42 months. And it says, this is when John wrote, and the temple at this time had been destroyed in 78D. This is 20 something years later, when John wrote. And you find out that this is referring to the temple. Boy, just been destroyed. And he’s talking about another temple that’s going to be built. And he says, and the Gentiles are going to have control.

So there’s a time in the future when the Gentiles will have control of the temple. But that means the temple has got to be rebuilt. That means if Israel is going to ever build a temple in Israel over there, in Jerusalem, they’re gonna have to be some kind of a peace treaty made. So I believe, well, Yankeeology, that the world is gonna have to come together and they’re gonna have to give Israel the right to exist as a nation, the right to their land, the right to rebuild their temple, in order for them to have the peace of the Arabs and so forth.

And somehow, I believe Jerusalem will be made into an international city. Now I taught this over 46 years ago when I was a student from the Baba College. And I told Dr. Avery Stanford at that time, I said Jerusalem has to be made an international city. In order to get done, what has to be done and for scripture be fulfilled. He wasn’t too sure, but he’s 94 years old now. I think he probably agrees with me. But as we’re moving right along, This temple is going to be rebuilt.

The Antichrist is going to go into the Holy City and he’s going to claim that he is God. So he says the temple and the out of course that’s been given because it’s under the rule of Gentile domination. One of these days, see, Israel will not be dominated by any Gentile powers. Israel is a little obitimmonized seed and it’s going to grow into be a great mountain. It’s going to be the biggest, the greatest kingdom in the world, the low Israel.

And you look at the globe and you’ll find out that the center and the hotspot of all the world and the best place of all nations is right where Israel sets. That’s God’s chosen land. ++++ That God knows what he’s doing. Now get this. Verse three and I will give power under my two witnesses and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and three score days That’s 42 months or another way of sin three and a half years He says, and they shall prophesy a 1,203 score days closed in sack club.

These two fellows have got the dream job. I mean, they don’t have to worry about anything. Nothing can happen to them because they have been given the power to do whatever they want to do and their judgment. And I believe there’s a lot of the so-called the seven angels that do what they do and bring the plagues that they do because of the command of the God. to individuals. Now I don’t have scripture to prove that but in circumstantial evidence leads me to that conclusion.

But look what he says in verse 5. And if any man, any man will hurt them, fire proceeded out of their mouth and devour their enemies. And if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. Woo doggy, you got to watch what you say about those two. Now today you can badmouthe the preacher, you can have roast reverend, potted pastor, and nobody will do anything to you. That’s why I said this would be a dream job.

You know, you’re just like, I double dog dare you to say anything that upsets me. You would really be in respect of the pastor. But that day isn’t here. This is doing the tribulation peered upon the earth. This is the worst part of time that the world has ever known. But God always has his witness. And God is going to get his job accomplished. And God says that even the angel will be preaching an everlasting gospel or the messenger that preaches the message because God, in spite of all the damage that’s going to be going on, God is still a God of mercy.

The Bible says there’ll be multitude of people of every nation that will trust Christ as their Savior. See, God does not make anybody trust Him. You do not have to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. You can do your dead level best to try to earn your way to heaven that God’s already said, you can’t earn it, you can’t work, or you can’t buy it. You do not join a church to go to heaven. You cannot pay for salvation.

It’s already been paid for. Christ paid for all the sins of all the world when He died on the cross and all that you have to do. All that you can do is to accept that payment he made for you. And God will save you. And during this period of time, they can also still be saved and multitude of people. You read chapter 7 where it says that they trusted Christ as Savior from all the nations. He says, where’d it come at these?

He says, sir, these came out of great tribulation and it made their robes swight in the blood of the Lamb. So it was because of Christ and the payment he made. Now look at this, he says in verse six, these have power to shut heaven, that it reign not in the days of their prophecy, and have power over water to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. Now I can see why a lot of people believe that it’s a good possibility of Moses and Elijah, because Elijah did part of this, when he didn’t reign for three and a half years, and also Moses, because of the plagues down in Egypt.

So it’s a good possibility that that might be them. But I can’t say dogmatically because I don’t have scripture that says Moses any larger, but it could be them. But whoever it is, who doggy, to be able to have the power, maybe God can trust them. God probably couldn’t trust you or me. We’re probably misuse it. Are you explosive now? Do you lose your temper now and anger now if somebody makes you mad? Just think if you could speak, and that’s all she wrote.

You eliminate the whole world, wouldn’t you? Look what he says here. In verse six, these have power to shut heaven, that it rained not in the days of their prophecy, have power over water to turn them to blood, and the water is gonna be turned to blood. And it’s not going to rain. All these things are going to happen, and they’re listed in some of the bowls of judgment that God’s gonna pour out upon the earth. So God’s got his two men that are the two keys that says, boom, boom, boom, and what they say goes.

It’s gonna be awesome. And look what he says in verse seven. In verse seven, and when they have finished their testimony, the beast that ascended out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them and shall overcome them and kill them. So this is what’s going to take place. Now who are these two? Just look up there real quick in verse four. See in verse four, and do you remember us reading anything like this over in the book of Zechariah in chapter four, where it says, these are the two olive trees, the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Remember we read it over there? That was written 400 something years, almost 500, before Christ. Now we’re almost 2,000 years on this site that that’s a long period of time. I think that’s out of reach of those people who wrote, like Zachariah, and the fulfillment of the Scriptures. And here we are. Are we living at a time on planet Earth when these things can happen? Is there a move on trying to make a peace treaty with Israel? Yes. All these things are true.

Look what else happens here. It can’t be just a coincidence. Look at this. And it says there in verse seven and when they shall have finished their testimony when they finished their testimony The beast that sent it out of the bottomless pit and shall make war again. This is the anti-Christ This is the old devil himself and you’re talking about the prince of the power of the air That’s why you have it going all the way over here and there’s a battle on heaven That’s in chapter 12 of the book of Revelation And so he has got his man to do his will just like God the Father has his son to do his will Satan is going to have his man to do his will and he’s going to do everything to devil wants him to do and He will give him his power you read the 13th chapter of elation and

Says that Satan gives him his power to do what he does the authority to do it But remember, they all have their limitations. The devil tried to get it Job, but God put a hedge about him and he couldn’t touch anything that he had. God moved away one of those hedges and allowed the devil to get at what he had. He couldn’t touch Job. Later on, God took away another hedge and says, you can get a Job, but you can’t take his life.

See, the devil always had limitations. He can’t do everything He wants to do. God is still in charge. God is on the throne. He is the boss. And He can use everything that goes wrong in this world to His honor and to His glory. And just because things don’t always happen good in your own personal life, He says all things work together for good to those who love Him. Do you believe it though? He says that’s my favorite version.

All things work together for good to those who love the Lord, those were called according to his purpose, not yours, his purpose. He always has a higher purpose than you do. You can’t see behind the scenes and how God is working. The providence of God. It’s not just an accident. God knows what he’s doing and he says, this is what’s going to take place. So he makes a statement here in verse 8, and their dead bodies shall lie in the streets of the We are also our Lord was crucified.

Now I wonder where He was crucified. You’ve got to clue where He was crucified. The good possibility this takes place in Israel, in Jerusalem.
