We pray that you will enjoy our commitment to the clear gospel of Jesus Christ and that today’s message will be a blessing to you and your family. Remember he says, it is appointed under every man wants to die and after this the judgment. Now, some people believe that you’re going to get a second chance. No, later on, you’ll get another chance. Well, the Bible doesn’t say you’ll get another chance.

It says after this, the judgment. But what does the word of God say here? Look what he says. In verse 11, he says, he that is unjust. Let him be unjust, steal. I believe this is talking about, if you die as a lost man, You will be lost forever if you die unjust. You were not justified. Never trust the Christ the Savior. All the opportunities are gone. There are no more opportunities. However the tree falls, there shall it lie.

There’s only two kinds of people in the world, believers and unbelievers, the saints, the aunts. Those that are going to heaven and those that are going to hell. And what determines is whether or not did you or did you not trust Christ as Savior, but at the time of death, there are no more choices. There are no more chances. It is all over with. And this is the ending of the grand finality. And it just cast all those people who stood at the Great Hvathram, they were cast where?

Into the lake of fire. That’s the final Gehenna. And they will be there for all eternity. And once they’re dead and separated from God in this literal fire burning place, God says, there is no second chance. It is final. It’s over as far as all opportunities are gone. That’s why we’re supposed to invite people to come while they are alive to reach people why we can. See, if it wasn’t true, and I didn’t really believe that, why we change anybody?

Just wait and let them have another chance later. That’d make more sense to me. If they can have another chance here, then let them have that second chance there. Why should we sacrifice and pay and give and go and do all of that? Just because it ain’t real. It’s not final. Unless we believe that death is final. It’s final as far as all the choices, all the opportunities that a man can have. But look also for the believer. It says in the same verse, middle part of verse 11, and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still.

Now if we say that the unjust means that they die and that’s all there is, then the same principle would be holding true to the believer. So that means once you have been saved and you’re justified, well then if this guy doesn’t exist anymore, then neither does this guy. But it’s showing you that the lost man still exists and the saved man still exists. And if you’re saved when you die, you’re saved forever. And if you’re lost when you die, you’re lost forever.

That’s why Christ says, if you do not believe that I am He, you shall die in your sins. It means that you were born in sin, you have lived in sin, and you died in sin. Remember there were three that died on the cross. One died two sin, one died in sin, one died four sin. And the thief that rejected the Lord died in his sins. I mean he did not trust Christ as Savior. Christ died for my sins.

So I I don’t die in my sin. Christ died for my sins. So there’s these things to keep in mind. And he that is holy, let him be holy still. You are separated, you belong to the Lord. It will be that way for all eternity. It’ll never be changed. It is final. This is the final combination of everything that this whole book teaches. And it’s in the proper place. This is where it should be. It should belong. But now notice, if a man has trusted Christ as Savior, and whenever you die, all opportunities are lost.

lost. And no man knows when he’s going to die. Doesn’t it make sense for the lost man to trust the Lord while he can? That makes sense because that’s what the book teaches. Now is the accepted time. The whole now is the day of salvation. You will not find anywhere in the Bible where God says, wait, you’ll get a second chance later. Find the verse. There is no verse. There’s no even principles that are even hit toward anything like that.

But we’re told in his word, he that believeth on him hath everlasting life, he that believeth not shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides upon him. This is final. Now in verse 12, where he says, and behold I come quickly and get this, my reward is with me. Now who gets the rewards? Rewards are something that God going to give his saints here, and he’s coming back again and he’s going to give them rewards because rewards are going to be used here in the Davidic Kingdom.

And maybe after this there might be another time he gives them. I don’t know how many times. I don’t care when he gives them. I don’t care how he gives them. I don’t care who he gives them. It’s just that whatever the rewards really are. Now I preach a lot of sermons on the five crowns and so on. whether or not we’re going to have stars in our crown, but who would want a starless crown? I don’t understand all of it and how it all going to work, but whatever it is, we’re going to wish we had done more.

But our only opportunity to do what God wants us to do is before we die, because all the rewards are given to a man after he leaves this life. only because of what we do in this life, because death ends all opportunities. There are no more choices, no more chances. Now we’ll serve the Lord for all eternity, but it doesn’t say that we get rewarded for any of those. We get rewarded for what we do in this little little obitit time that we have to live on planet earth.

That’s why your faithfulness to the Lord right now is so important. And it won’t matter how many people agree with you on anything. Is it, are you right with the the Lord yourself? Or are you doing anything that would hinder the Lord from blessing your life here and rewarding you when you get to heaven? So to the lost man he’ll be eternally separated from God in a literal fire burning hell. To the Christian God says he is going to be rewarded.

So the reward is coming. Now look in verse 14. Once again it shows you a division, a division. Verse 14, blessed are they that do His commandments and they that have right to the tree of life and may enter into the gates into the city. Well, we know that that’s only those who have trusty Christ as their Savior. They have a right to enter into the the Holy City. See there in verse 24 chapter 21? And the nations of them which are saved shall walk the light of it, talking about the holy city that’s mentioned there in this whole chapter.

You have to be saved to enter into the holy city. So if you have been saved, and then we talked about in the last week about Romans and chapter, excuse me, the book of I John in chapter 5 and verse 4 where it says, they that be of faith, these are the ones that have overcome the world, even our faith. This is the victory. Those who have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. So you and I, when we trust Christ as our Savior, we have a right to the tree of life.

The tree of life, I guess you could say in many respects, Christ Himself. Christ is going to be there. Christ is the life. And that’s why they could have ate from the tree of life in the garden. Maybe it’s the same tree. I don’t know. But I do believe that it’s going to be interesting for all of those who trust the Lord and they’re separated. And how to, I guess, visualize all this stuff in heaven is a difficult thing.

That’s what we talked about last week. How to mentally… Abedin Krug WemONDON +— The visualize what God is talking about and yet we have to take it by faith and what God says is true. Now look what he says in verse 15. Verse 15 is a reference to those who are on the outside. They do not have the right to enter into the holy city. See in verse 15 for without are dogs and sorcerers and hormongers and murders and idolaters and whosoever loveth and make it the life.

Now the word dogs can refer to homo section. that does in the Old Testament. It also refers to unsaved Gentiles, which sometimes they, Jewish people, refer to them as such. But these are without. There’s others that are within. So there’s two groups, the believers and the unbelievers, the saints and the aunts, and it’s final. And however a man finds himself at the moment of death is the way it will be for all eternity and it will not change. You do not find It’s not fine where it says in verse 15, these people will now get an opportunity to really believe on the Lord that they want to.

It’s not there. Because you see there, look there in Revelation in chapter. chapter 20 and look there in verse 15.alyses and whosoever, whosoever, was not found written in the book of life was cast where? Into the lake of that’s final. This is the final hell. The other one where if you died today you would go to a place called Hades, which is a place of torment, but that’s not the final hell. We’re talking about now at the end of time after the great white throne judgment and those who have never trusted Christ to save you will be cast into the eternal lake of fire.

That’s called Gahanna. Mentioned 12 times in New Testament, 11 times by Christ Himself. So if people say, well I believe in heaven, I just don’t know. Well, Jesus spoke more on hell than He spoke on heaven. And you don’t need a person to down the cross and pay for your sins to keep you from going to a place if it doesn’t exist. It does exist and it is real.” So go back there to chapter 22. So there is these two groups of people.

Names of various sins and when a person dies and goes to hell, I believe he also will be judged according to his works, according to chapter 20, and it determines the amount of suffering that they receive in hell because the principle of us being rewarded according to our works is what we’re going to be rewarded to when we get to heaven. So those who have done little will be rewarded little. And the Bible also talks about in the book of Luke that those who have known little will be punished little.

those who know much will be beaten with many stripes and so forth. And so that principle is laid down in the Word of God. So God’s the one that knows how much a lost man knew what he understood. I don’t try to figure it out. I believe if God is the righteous judge and God is God and he is perfect and he makes no mistakes, he doesn’t do anything wrong. Whatever he decides to do, it will be right. and he will be just in everything that he does.

Even though there’s people that are setting judgment on God, God is going to set in judgment on man. And God will be able to prove everything that he says and everything that he does. And he can reveal to a man everything that he’s ever done because God sees all, knows all, records all, and never forgets unless he chooses to forget.

Verse 16, I, Jesus, have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things and the churches. So according to this verse, Jesus is letting us know that he’s the one that sent those messengers to those seven churchesumably. Jesus is the one who authored this book of Revelation. And he’s the one that says this book of Revelation is for us to know. knowledge is not so you can sit around and just look spiritual. It’s to call it should drive us to action.

Now listen, most of y’all in here, most of you, new Hank Lindstrom as a great soul winner. True? Above anything else, he won people to Christ. Why? Why? Why didn’t he just wait if they’re going to get a second chance? Why do it? Why always giving the gospel? Because that’s what God’s Word tells us to do. That’s why we do it. Why? Remember, he was going up here to Gainesville and he was going to be an electrical engineer. I remember his testimony.

But why didn’t he do that? He probably could have made good money. Hank was smart. He could… He had a way with people that just caused everybody to like him. He had a very soothing, calming way about him. I’m telling you the truth. Everybody at Bible College, everybody liked Hank. Hank was a different kind of an animal. I mean, there’s not many people like him. But why did he give his life for this stuff? Because he believed it. He really believed it.

So it didn’t matter if it was radio or television. He did everything he could to reach the lost people, didn’t he? Why do you think he had all those things printed up back there like that? If it doesn’t make any difference, it doesn’t matter because he knew that everything mattered. But it’s not just Hank. It’s people all over this world that believe this and it’s changed their lives. it be a shame for you to believe something different than the man who reached you?

And yet most of you probably trust the Lord because of Hank. What if Hank didn’t do that? I had a person one time tell me that I just don’t like the way Yankee is. He is so aggressive sometimes. And no, he’s like, he’s he’s in your face type. Well, I don’t mean to be, but it’s just the way I am sometime. And I told a person one this little lady, she came up to me. Oh, she burned me. Oh, she burned me.

Because I had made a statement. We had about 10 or 15 trust the Lord in ranch one night. I was still on cloud nine the next day. Well, anyway, Sunday came and I announced it in church and told what would happen and how many we had coming off the buses and just all these people that did the trust. And she came up to me afterwards and she was kind of prissy. She says, you ought not say you led them to the Lord.

It was the Lord that did it. If she’d have been a man out of here, I says, ma’am, I like the way I say it better than the way that you can’t say it. You say, you didn’t say that. Yes, I did, but a lot stronger. I come and glued on that lady. She was a spiritual snob. And I’d venture to say that they’re everywhere. They never win anybody to the Lord, but they know how to do it. Oh, I would never do it like that.

Well, blessed be God. How do you do it? And most of them don’t do it at all. Somebody told a little moody, I think it was. An English teacher, she says, you know, you murder the English language. He says, I like the way I do it better than your way of not doing it. Somebody can have all the talent in the world, all the ability, but it doesn’t. What are you doing? What are you accomplishing? A lot of people are nothing but talk.

They’re mouths, but never accomplish anything. They can pick anybody apart, but they don’t accomplish a thing themselves. There is in the bosom of God’s people that know and believe with all their heart that God is a righteous judge and God is going to settle the score, open up the books, and he’s going to make it right. So it doesn’t matter what everybody thinks or says. We’re supposed to do what God wants to do because we believe it’s worth it and God is going to make it right.

Whatever it is and it don’t matter whether or not people were for you or again you. I thought many times in my life what we could have done if all of God’s children had worked together. Did you know that in most places, 10% of the people in a church do the work? If you’re lucky. But most people are just on the sideline. They just sat and watched, but they never get involved, never help. And I’ve asked people over the years, I need help.

You’ve heard the Apostle Paul pleading, you know, those who help me in the Gospel, help me in the ministry. You see, what value is people, if they don’t help, they never help, you can’t depend on them. They’re not dependable. You can build or work on the backs of people who are faithful. And some people, well, they just stand on the sidelines and they’re that Monday morning quarterback that always tell you what he should have done. You ever sit there on the couch and you wonder why the dumb quarterback can’t see the guys open down earning end zone?

Why can’t he see that? Well, might be because he got five big guys in front of him. It’s so easy for you to set a fair, you got cameras all over the place and you can see what he ought to be doing. And why some guy lines up and runs right toward a brick wall and there’s five guys standing right there and you think, well, why didn’t he do that? He should have went around this way. See, he’s supposed to run where he’s supposed to run, believing that his line are going to make a hole.

And if he waits till there’s a hole, it’ll be too late. He has to run, trusting, they’ll make away when he gets there. So he’s believing and trusting and giving it all he’s got full steam into a brick wall because sometimes they, it don’t work. And then when it does work, the guy runs into the end zone and he throws the football down and jumps all over the place like, look what I did, look what I did, look what I did, look what, wait a minute.

You realize if those guys had to made a hole, you would have never got through it. And so he did it all by himself. Did you realize that God knows what we do because we have people working together to get something done? Remember the other night I was talking about how that the Apostle Paul in the book of Philippians says, not because I desire a gift, but fruit that may abound to your account, because the people who work together and help the Apostle Paul to do what he did.

That’s the way it is with every pastor. You know that you’re limited and you can only do so much, but if people work together, you can accomplish so much more, so much more. But we do it because we are trusting that everybody believes the same thing. That’s why I want to keep teaching this book until it’s in your brain. You’ll think about it even when you don’t want to think about it. And you’ll carry tracks and you’ll want to witness to people even when you don’t want to do it.

You’ll do it anyway because it’ll be in your heart and you can’t get away from it. Look what he says here in verse 16, I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David. So the root means that He’s before David and the offspring means He’s after David. Now how can Jesus be before David and after David? But that’s what it says. And when you read the book of Isaiah talks about, I have a tender branch that’s going to grow up.

The root of Jesse. So He’s the root of Jesse, but He can be before David, but He’s after David. Now how can all of this be? Because Jesus is God and He came into the world through the line of David. So He was before David, but He came through the line a thousand years later and He’s after David. So He says, I am the root and the offspring of David and the bride and morning star. Now I want you to take your Bible and look at this verse.

Look there in the book of Malachi chapter 4. Malachi chapter 4, last book in the Old Testament, Malachi. And you’ll see that there’s a statement made here that’s pretty good. Malachi chapter 4 and look there in verse two. Verse two says, but unto you that fear My name shall the son of righteousness arise with healing in his wings.” Now I wonder who this is talking about. The son of righteousness. Now that’s not S-O-N, this is S-U-N. Now generally the bright and morning star right before dawn it’s at the darkest point and there’s this bright and morning star.

You see, I believe the bright morning star is a reference to the church when Christ comes for us. And then the son, S-U-N, of righteousness. So the Bible talks about Jesus Christ is the bright and morning star. Satan is not the bright and morning star in the book of Isaiah, not him. He is the son of the morning, but he is not the morning star. star. He is not the bright and morning star. Totally different. But go back here to the book of Revelation in chapter 22.

So Jesus Christ is before David and after David. And He is the bright and morning star. He is the son of righteousness and He is coming. And the spirit of the bride say, come, because He then said twice, He’s I’m coming. So they they come. We as the bride of Christ, the church, don’t we look forward to the coming of Christ? What difference should it make? Hold your place right here and just look at this real quick. Look in the book of 1st John chapter 3, 1st John and chapter 3.

Make sure you look at these verses. Don’t just… So well I’ve got the Bible committed to memory? Yeah, I know. But in verse one it says, Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us that we should be called the sons of God. Therefore the world knoweth us not because it knew him not. Beloved now are we the sons of God. And it doth not yet appear what we shall be. But we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him, but we shall see him as he is.

And every man that hath this hope in him purifyth himself.” In other words, to those who are looking for Christ to come will purify his life. When you no longer are looking for him to come, your life is going to become corrupted. That’s why he says in 1 John chapter 2 verse 28, My little children abide in him that when he shall appear, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before him at his coming. So yes, the Lord is coming back.

It is supposed to be a purifying hope, but many people fail to understand all that God has for them. Now, I can’t make people serve Lord. Man, I wish I could. I, man, I will. But it won’t help because it has to be something that you do willingly. It has to be on a volunteer basis. No one can make you love God. You believe it or not. Nobody can make you love your parents. You can’t make your parents love the kids.

You can’t make the pastor love the people. Well, you can’t make the people love the pastor either. We’re going to pass a law. Everybody in the church must love the pastor. It won’t work because it can’t be forced. It has to be voluntary. You have to do it because there’s something that’s greater on the inside of you that makes you do what you’re supposed to do.
