He says there’s going to be a new heavens, newer. Now we ought to talk about three heavens. Here we’ve got the atmospheric heavens, we got the Pentateuch heavens and we got the third heaven where God dwells. Well, he says it’s going to be a new heavens and a new earth. Brand spanking new. I don’t know if it’s going to be this one rejuvenated or transformed or what God’s is going to be a new one. The first one passed away.

There’s going to be a new heaven and a new earth. A new heaven and a new earth you and I have never seen. If we think anything in this world is wonderful to look at. And when you consider a sunset or a sunrise or a beautiful flower or a beautiful girl, your wife or your husband, there’s beautiful as they may be. You ain’t seen nothing yet. It’s what God has got for us and a new heaven and a new earth.

So God’s going to make a new place, but it’s for those who have come from the second Adam. All those from the first Adam that never trusts Christ the Savior can’t go into that new world. It’s only for those believers, those that have trusted Christ of their Savior. So I want you to see this. In Matthew chapter 24 and verse 35, you can turn if you want to. And it mainly says this, that heaven and the earth will pass away, but my word will never pass away.

What God says in His word, it is true and it will never pass away. But He says this heaven and the earth will pass away. So everything in this world, even their new world order, it’s not going to last because this world is going to pass away. That’s why God tells us, don’t lay up treasures in this world as though you’re gonna stay here and enjoy it forever. It’s all temporary. I don’t care how rich you are, when you die, you leave it all.

You came naked into this world and naked you’re going to return. The only way you can lay up any treasure past this life is to know Christ as your Savior, serve the Lord and when you serve the Lord God has said you’re laying up treasure in heaven where you cannot lose it Because you can lose everything in this world that beautiful car you have that beautiful home you have all the land You have all that money you got I don’t give what all you got told it all together.

It’s all gonna be gone You are not staying here And it doesn’t matter how long you live and how much money you spend to stay alive Sooner or later, you’re gonna croak. I mean, you’re gonna bite the dust. You’re going down. 70 years. And if I strength, they’d be four score, or 80 years, still sorrow, and you fly away. You just live a little 75. He’s only got five more years left. And then he flies away. But it won’t matter.

You are not staying here. You’re gone to be gone. Look in Isaiah 65, the book of Isaiah, in chapter 65, Isaiah chapter 65, understand there is definitely going to be a new world. Order. It won’t have anything to do with a sinful nature of man. God is going to create a new heaven, a new earth with new people, new people. That’s those who have been born in the family of God. Born without a sinful nature. That’s the only way heaven will ever be heaven.

Paradise. I can’t wait to go. I’m making this sound so good. I can take on my life. right now. But I’m going to finish the sermon just for y’all’s sake. Isaiah 65 looking verse 17. In verse 17 it says, Now behold I create new heavens and a new earth. The former shall not be remembered or come in the mind. Now I don’t know how God’s going to do it. I don’t care as long as I’m in the new one.

I want to make sure that I am there and I’m going to enjoy that. If you can enjoy anything in this world, just think of what you’re going to have when you get to heaven. It’s going to be wonderful. We cannot fathom in our mind what God has for us. That’s what makes it so important to try to get as many people as we can to trust Christ as their Savior because of what God has in mind. You see, aren’t you sick and tired of all your failures?

The misery you go through, that sinful nature you have of the envy and the bitterness and the jealousy and the betrayal and all the wicked stuff that goes on. Aren’t you sick and tired of it? And people dying and your loved ones are gone and your finances you don’t have and your health problem? Don’t you wish there was something better? Doings? There is. It’s called a new world order that God has for us. It’s not going to happen down here.

Mankind can’t make it happen. Only God. You see, when you take 10 wicked men and put them together to form a government, you still got a wicked government because they’re still filled with envy and jealousy and greed and they want everything from you and somebody wants to rule and control somebody else and that’s where they’re headed and that’s what they’re going to do. Now here looking verse 22 of chapter chapter 66 verse 22, for as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make shall remain before me.

So if the Lord so shall your seed and your name remain. In other words, this new heavens and this new earth, this new world order, you are going to last forever. It will remain. It’ll never stop, this one will not remain. This was going down. And that’s why you should not love the world or the things in the world because it’s all a waste of time. Did you know that if you serve the Lord, serve the Lord? You don’t serve the Lord to get there.

That’s a gift that’s free. Christ paid your ticket. He paid your way. And if you trust Him, you’ve got a reservation. But whenever you trust Christ as Savior and He still leaves you here for a little while, He wants you to serve Him so that you can lay up treasures for the New World Order. And God says, I’m going to reward you. And you don’t know what it is. It’s going to be a surprise. Don’t you like surprises? I love surprises.

I can’t stand it, Harley. I have searched the house all over trying to find a present or something. I’ve always been like that. I can’t help it. All I can say is God made me this way. But I want to know, but I love surprises. One of the best surprises I ever had was my 70th birthday. When I went over to Lakeland and they had a birthday party for me over there and all the things that happened. It was really wonderful.

I was surprised. And God is really blessed. If I had known in advance that being 70 was going to be so much fun, I would have got here earlier. I would have just hurried up and got there. But you and I need to understand this world is going down and there will be a new world order. Take your Bible looking 2 Peter chapter 3, 2 Peter and chapter 3. 2 Peter chapter 3, and there’s a verse I want you to look at.

Look in verse 7. Verse 7. Chapter 3, verse 7 says, but the heavens and the earth, which are now, now present, by the same word are kept in store reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and predation of ungodly men. Ungodly men, they don’t want God, they don’t want Christians, they don’t want the Bible, they just want to do their own thing. Because if they could just do their own thing without any inhibition, without any restraint, just think how happy people would be.

Anything going to work. And so God says that they are going to produce their new world order. But He says this world is going up in smoke. It was destroyed the first time by a flood. The next time it’s going to be destroyed by fire. That’s why you see the The great big old explosion here. It’s all going to go up in smoke. Look what he says. In verse 8, But beloved be not ignorant of this one thing. One day with the Lord it’s a thousand years, a thousand years is a day.

Time doesn’t mean anything with God. It’s just with people. God doesn’t get aged. God is 4,000 years old plus a day. Plus two days. No, see, he even had a beginning. He always has been. You can’t get age unless you have a starting point. You don’t have a starting point. He doesn’t have an ending point. Look what he said in verse 10. But the day of the Lord will come. That’s a promise. Will come. You see, they questioned that up there in previous verses about verse two and three.

He said he’s coming. Well, where is he? All things continue as they were since the creation. He says, they are willingly ignorant of this truth. So in verse 10, he says, as a thief in the night, in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be what? Burned up. So build your mansion. Live how in the hall of thinking you’re going to stay here forever.

It ain’t going to last. That’s why it’s foolish for a child of God to waste his life in Love with the world and thinking that’s where happiness is My whole life was built around getting this little piece of property getting this your car or getting this how no my life Should be spent around laying up treasures in heaven serving God I Would rather be poor in this world and rich in the next one Some people are gonna be rich here poor there Because they did not serve the Lord, but nobody can make you change that your mind You see you’re free to choose However you want you can trust Christ and go to heaven or you can reject him You can choose to serve the Lord or not serve the Lord God does not make anybody do anything.

I Just know that if all of this is true This is gonna be a blast Just think about it This is awesome This ought to challenge and motivate everybody. They’ll want to serve a little with all their heart because hey, there’s a new world coming, a new world coming and I’m part of it. I’m going to be there, my new habitation. You see, I have a new home. I got a new home. That’s where I’m going to live. See, in the Gospel of John, look over there, John 14, John chapter 14 and look in verse 1, look what Jesus told his disciples.

He says, in verse 1, let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. In my father’s house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And, buddy, it’s not this place. There’s another place. There’s another world. And that’s where we’re going. He says, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I might come again. I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am, there you may be also.

Where I am, there you may be also. You know one of the greatest truths, I believe that anybody can never understand is this. God created the heavens and the earth and put man there as his crown and achievement. So it was made for man. Did you know that God wants love? Love wants love. Not only to love, but be loved. The greatest thing of all of God’s creation was not the heavens and the earth. It was the man. That was the man.

That’s what it was about. God wanted someone to love and God wanted somebody to love him. But he wants love on a voluntary basis. not where you’re created like a robot and you have no choice. So God allowed a choice to be made and the choice was made. And even to this day, you and I are still free to make the choice. Love the world or love God. Do you love God more than you love the world? If you love God more than you love the world, don’t mind losing the world and everything in it, because you love him more.

And if you love him more, you can’t lose him. He said, I’ll never leave you and never forsake you. But you know one of the things that God wanted him after he made Adam and Eve the Bible says and he walked with him in the cool of the day. He walked with him. He talked with him. We often think and I used to tell people this and there’s a lot of truth to it. You and I I ought to try to do everything we can to get as close to God as we can get.

But did you know because of sin, there was a separation? Because God is holy. God is righteous. God is perfect. He can’t stand to be in the presence of sin. God. It was God that found a way to get closer to man. You see, God’s the one that came looking for Adam. God wants to walk with man. God wants to talk to man. God wants that. Did you know that before he sinned, he could walk with him and talk with him?

Do you know after he sinned, the closest that God could get was in the tabernacle and the the Holy of Holies, in the dark room, thick veils, skins, and so forth. That was as close that God could get to man. You see, it wasn’t man trying to find out how close can I get to God. It was God seeking a way to get close to man. God’s the one that took the initiative. And because of our sin, God can’t get close to man.

So God is the one who had a way. You see, even when Jesus Christ came into the world, in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All thing were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made. He was in the world. The world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. And the Word became flesh. It means He tappernacked all the mamas.

The closest that God could get to man was to take upon flesh and veil Himself inside of a physical body. And that was close that he could get to man. You see, it was God that was trying to find a way to get to us. It wasn’t us trying to find out how close can I get to God. Man runs from God. It was God that came to us. And this is why when you stop and think about it, one of the things that’s really precious, well, look at the scripture.

Look there in the book of Revelation chapter 21 of him. Revelation chapter 21. And look there in verse three. Verse three says this, and I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and he and Yoran the Linus dwell with them. They shall be his people. God himself shall be with them. This new world ordered the God God, not only a new heavens and a new earth, we are going to be there with Him.

That is close to God as any man can ever get. He says in the book of 1 John in chapter 2, Gallery 3, we shall be like Him for we shall what? See him as he is. You know, even when Christ was here, he was veiled. In the temple, it was veiled. There is none of that now. Why? Because we’re there in a perfect body with no sinful nature. And the thing that God was after all along was to get as close to us as he possibly could.

When I understood this, that meant an awful lot to me. To see what God went through so that He could get close to me. Well, what separated this? My sin. He had to do something about my sin because He’s perfect. He’s right. He’s holy. You and I, we can stand to be around people with no sin for nature. Why? Because we got one ourselves. You don’t mind sometimes being around somebody that lies and tells dirty jokes and drinks smokes and you name the\”: you can do that.

He’s perfect. Perfect. So God found a way. He made a way. After you trust Christ as your Savior. And you know that you’re going to heaven when you die. Don’t you think that you ought to seek to get as close to God as you can? That’s just a question you can answer for yourself. He wants to get as close to you as possible, and he wants you to get as close to him as possible, but he wants you to do it voluntarily.

God does not want to make us or force us. When we leave this old world, this old body that we have with this old sinful nature is going to the grave, and I’ll fly away. My new birth, born of God, doesn’t have a sinful nature. That’s why I’m going to live forever. Only perfect people are going to that perfect place. Only perfect people. And perfect people are only those that are in Christ. All their sins have been paid for.

You have been washed as white as snow. God has removed your sins as far as the east is from the west, cast into the depths of the sea, never to be remembered no more. And so God has a new world order coming, and I’m going to be part of it. Look up here. If you hear this morning and you have never trusted Christ as your Savior, do you see what you’re going to be missing out on? You’re not going to be there.

You can stay here and be part of this Earth’s world horror. And you’re not going to like what you get. And there’s a lot of people that are totally deceived about all the politicians and what they’re doing and where they’re going. A lot of them aren’t worth a quarter. They’re really not. But there’s a few good ones out there. And I think that you on, yes, you ought to vote for the one that can preserve our freedom the longest This hand represent you and me.

The wallet represents sin. We all have sin on us. We are not perfect. We have a sinful nature and we sin. And because of our sin, we’re separated from God. And when we die, we’ll be eternally separated from Him for all eternity. But God says, I love you. I want you to be with me. He wants us to be with Him. as Jesus said in John 14, that where I am, there you may be also. See, we can’t be there with our old bodies, our old sinful nature.

But He says, I’m going to be a perfect place for you. You ever wonder what it’s going to look like? That ought to be awesome. A new heaven, a newer, something we have never seen before. We can’t even fight Him that in our minds. But God says, I love you. I hate your sin. And He says, to go to heaven, we have to be perfect. Or righteous is God, because the new heaven demands perfection, and we’re not. That’s why we can’t go.

So how can God get us there? He says, the sin has to be paid for. You see, you don’t pay for sin by going to church. You don’t pay for sin by giving money. The payment for sin is death. You have to die to pay for sin. And that’s eternal separation from eternal separation from God. Now you really want to pay for your own sins? This hand represents Jesus Christ. He’s the Lord God in the flesh. He came into the world because He loves us.

He hates our sin because it separates us from Him. So Jesus Christ, who had no sin, did not have to die. He came into the world, God in the flesh. They old enough physical body and when they looked at him, they were not impressed. Not impressed. He took all the sins of the world, paid for them on the cross and came back from the dead and said that if we would believe he did that for us, he would give us as a free gift everlasting life.

We get to go to heaven on what he did. We didn’t earn it. We didn’t work for it. We didn’t buy it. We don’t deserve it. Nothing. It’s because he loves us. I will not force anybody to believe it. But if you choose to believe it, God says, I will give you as a free gift of everlasting life. You will go to heaven whenever you die. You will be in my new heavens and my new earth. It’s a choice.

Let’s pray, shall we? Every head bowed and every eye closed and no one looking around. If you hear this morning, and never have trusted Christ as your Savior, maybe you’ve heard about it all you like, Never trust the Lord. Do you have that confidence in your own mind right now that if you were to die, you know that you’d go to heaven. Are you sure? I’m not asking you to come forward. I’m not asking you to stop anything, join anything.

I’m saying, will you believe that when Christ died, He died for you. Will you trust Him and Him alone as your only hope of going to heaven? God said, if you will trust Him, He will save you. Would you do that? In the quietness of this moment, but no one looking around, I’m going to ask you just a moment to raise your hand, raise your hand, doesn’t save you. Just let me know that what I said made sense to you.

You said, in pre to that made sense to me. I want to be certain I’m going to heaven when I die and I like you to pray for me in closing. Would you just slip your hand a very quick and say, yes, I will trust Christ as my Savior this morning. Anyone at all? God blesses her. God bless you. I appreciate that. Anyone else? Just slip it up very quickly and burrow back down. If you trust Christ right now as your Savior, God saves you right now, gives you eternal life right now.

When you get up to leave, you can say, I know I’m going to happen because this morning I trusted Christ as my only hope of going to heaven. I believe he died for my sins. See, if he paid for your sins, you don’t have to pay for them. All you had to do He was believed that He did it for you, and He puts that payment He made to your account. Our Father, we thank You so much for all You’ve done for us, and for the individual indicating by an uplifting hand that they would trust You as Savior, by doing so they become Your child, Your child forever.

We ask Your blessings upon each person here and help us to realize that we don’t serve You to get to heaven. But because we are Your children and we’re going to heaven, we pray, Lord, to bless each one of us is we seek to serve you because we love you in Christ and we pray. Amen.
