We pray that you will enjoy our commitment to the clear gospel of Jesus Christ and that today’s concluding message of this teaching will be a blessing to you and your family. the greatest man that ever lived was Jesus. Stop and think for a moment of all the people and all the world. More people have heard the name Jesus in any other name. Whether for them or against them, they’ve heard of him. He’s the most famous person that’s ever been 2,000 years out of the people and all these generations.

Think of how many people have heard of Jesus. How many of her about you? How many people know who Yankee is, but people have heard of Jesus, the war against him? It doesn’tincerity if you’re talking about Mother Teresa. She’s not my mom. But you talk about her. How good she was. Yeah, but why? Because of Jesus. I don’t know if she ever trusted him as a savior or not. But Jesus makes a difference. The Pope, everybody ever heard of the Pope?

What’s he doing and why is he doing it? Because he talked about Jesus. He’s probably doing all that in the Catholic, because of Jesus. But what about the Mormons? Because of Jesus. Jehovah’s Witnesses, because of Jesus, well Jehovah do them. But you think about all the people. Everybody talks about Jesus. Good or bad. And yet when you talk about love and peace, you talk about Jesus. You know, there never been anybody ever born quite like this man. And if he was just a man, look what they say about him.

These men in the Bible who lived with him for three years were willing to die after he was dead. And they all gave testimony, they saw him alive after his resurrection. What it did to them, they were willing to die for that Dead man, if he was just a man. And look how many churches have been started because he said, Jesus said, upon this rock, I will build my church. He started it. This church today is here because of a man who lived 2,000 years ago.

He had a ministry that lasted about three years, Maybe three and a half years. Look how many churches are all over the world, good and bad. Look how many of them there are. What other man human man has ever impacted the world like this man did? He was the greatest man who ever lived. Nobody has ever accomplished what that man did. Hitler has come and gone, but what about 2000 years before Hitler? Everybody thinks Obama is the Savior, even says, his own pine magazine.

The Savior. Uh-uh. He’s not the Savior. He’s just a man. But look at the great things that Jesus has done and what he instilled. And yet he never, when he was upon the earth and a human body, he never wrote a book. Never travel outside the state, outside the country of Israel. But look what’s happened. What a man. Did you know, and I want you to take your Bible and look there in the book of Hebrews in chapter 9.

Hebrews glared on in chapter 9. Hebrews 9, because I know that I have in my life. There’s been times when I have made a sacrifice. You know, I gave up something for somebody else. I needed money at time to not give it in a way. I have. I’ve done that. You probably have done the same thing. You probably have sacrificed a few things, you know, for your kids. You sacrifice for your parents or… They sacrifice for you. Think of the greatest human sacrifice you can ever think of where anybody has done anything for somebody.

They just awarded someone with the highest medal that we can give in America because of what a young military man did and how that he was able to avoid being killed in under a gunfire and what he accomplished, and he was so honored. The sacrifice, and I don’t know if you’ve ever seen any of the commercials about the wounded warrior project, and they have guys on there, sometimes some of the women and their limbs are missing or sometimes they’re messed up and they’re needing help, and these that have sacrificed so much for our freedom.

And we talk about all these that have given up so much to sacrifice for us. But there has never been any sacrifice of any man greater than the sacrifice of this man. Look what he says here in Hebrews in chapter 9, verse 23, it was therefore necessary that the pattern of things in the heavens should be purified with these. But the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than the better sacrifices. Now, I’m talking about the greatest sacrifice that’s ever been known to man.

You may have sacrificed a lot of stuff. You’ve never sacrificed what this man sacrificed. Your sacrifice has never accomplished what this man sacrificed it. But he says in verse 24, for Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God, and you ought to underline those two little words for us. He is there for us, but when he went there, he had to take his blood.

He shed his blood without the shedding of blood. There is no remissions of sin, which is mentioned in verse 22 of the same chapter. You ought to get a chance to read the ninth chapter of the book of Hebrews. Then in verse 25, he makes this statement, nor yet that he should offer himself. That’s a sacrifice. He offered himself as a sacrifice, a better sacrifice. And there has never been another sacrifice that can equal this sacrifice. This was the greatest sacrifice of all time.

Nobody has ever been able to do anything better. The world that God made, nobody’s done it any better. The revelation of the Word of God, nobody can come close in second. There is nothing else. Nothing can compare. Nobody, no man can compare to the Son of God. Even as a man, no person can even come close. And yet the Bible talks about He is the great sacrifice, the better sacrifice. And it says this, in verse 25, nor yet that He should offer Himself often as the high priest entered into the holy place every year with the blood of others.

Oh, that’s what the high priest did. But in verse 26, for then must he often have suffered. Suffered. You see, when he came the first time into this world, he came for one reason. He came to suffer. This is why he came. He came to suffer in order to pay for our sins. The greatest sacrifice of all times. Nothing will ever compare to it. And he says this in verse 26, For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world.

But now once in the end of the world, half he appeared to put away sin by the Enora on the line, this in your Bible, the sacrifice of himself. He sacrificed himself. God in the flesh came into this world They made a payment on the cross for all the sins of all the world. There’s never been a greater sacrifice. That accomplishes so much. In 1 John chapter 2 and verse 2, it talks about, he is the propitiation for our sins and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Nobody in this world has ever died for the whole world. You may die for your family and your family may have been in the military and they died for their country, but no man has ever died for the world. And every person that’s ever lived in the world. There’s nobody quite like the one we know and the one we love and the one we serve nobody comes close Nobody quite like him. I wish I could truly Express how I really think and feel but I’m limited By my vocabulary.

I don’t have enough words. I don’t know enough words to adequately describe the majesty of this this person that we come to worship, to think about, to study about. Nobody quite like him. Another thing I wanted to bring to you, attention. The Bible makes this statement that Jesus is the Lamb of God, which taken the way the Son of the world. He came into the world as a lamb, Meek and lowly and was led to the slaughter. He let man just do anything they wanted to do to him.

And yet he had the greatest power of all time. And yet he humbled himself even unto death, because he says in Philippians in chapter 2, let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, that he did not think it was Robert to be equal with God, but was made in all points, like as a man and humbled himself, became obedient even under death, where for God had highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord to the glory of God the Father.

John 3 16, I want you to go to John 3 16, And the reason is not because, well, you’ve never heard it before. I think you probably have. But because you know it, I don’t want you to ever forget what he’s really talking about. Jesus Christ, because of the greatest sacrifice of all time for all men, he was able to offer The greatest gift anyone has ever been able to give to anybody. Have you ever given somebody a gift at Christmas time?

Birthday, anniversary. I’ve given a lot of gifts and they say it’s more blessed to give than receive, I don’t know, I like receiving them too. But to give and to receive, isn’t that wonderful? And we have given a lot, sometimes you hear some humanitarian need or the Red Cross or United Way or somebody that needs something, a rescue mission needs something. And so you have maybe marched when they used to have a March of Dimes, not be the March of Dollars, inflation, you know.

But there’s people who need help and you are willing because you love and you care and you share for people in hurricanes and all the things that happened all over the world and floods and the people from America have been so kind and so generous that they’ve been able to do all of this. And I think it’s a wonderful thing. I really do. But nobody has ever given to anybody a gift greater than the gift of eternal life. The gift of eternal life.

It’s the greatest gift any man could ever receive. Remember when Christ came into the world to die for the sins of the whole world, it was so that he could give to every man a gift. The gift of eternal life is though there’s nothing greater than this gift. There’s nothing greater for any man to ever have than this gift of eternal life. Because we have a sinful body, a whole sinful nature, we sin and bring a lot of misery to ourselves and to each other.

We lie and deceive and cheat and steal and you name it, we do it. That’s mankind and God loves us. But He wanted to give to us the free gift of everlasting life. Look what He says there in verse 16, for God so loved the world that He gave the greatest sacrifice of all time. God so loved the world. He created the world. But we’re not just talking about, you know, the plants and the trees, talking about the people that he placed at the end of this world.

He loved the world. He died for you and me. God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son the greatest of all, nobody more superior than him, the greatest of all time to make the greatest sacrifice of all time so that he could give the greatest gift. of all time. Nobody can ever give to you or offer to you anything greater than what God wants to give to you. And it’s all because He loves you. He loves you so much.

He did all of that because He wants you to know how much He loves. It’s the greatest thing. Do you realize When it comes to the religions of the world, what separates God from the religions of the world is the world has no gift to give. The religions that adds works to the gospel have no gift to give. Catholicism has no gift to give. Mormonism has no gift to give. Islam has no gift to give. And almost all the other religions that has worse truth, they have no gift to give.

Only because of what Christ did is there a gift made possible to give to you and I the free gift of everlasting life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever, whosoever Believe it than him should not perish but have ever lasting life. To live forever. To live forever. With the Lord. Can’t get it any better than that. And the only reason that it can be forever is it has to be perfect.

People when they die without Christ, they’re existing but not living. They’re in forever torment, forever dying and never die. I like some people are forever learning and never come to the knowledge of the truth. Let me show you an illustration you’ve never seen before. This hand represents you and me. The wallet represents all of our sins. God, well, He loves us. Now He hates our sin, but He loves us. And the Bible says that God wants us to go to heaven to be in a perfect place.

Live forever, but there’s a problem. see we’ve all sinned. And the Bible says the wages of sin is death, so we’re all condemned. So because we’re all condemned, no man can save himself, so God steps into the picture and he sends his son Jesus Christ. This hand represents Jesus Christ, God in the flesh. He came into the world because he loves us, hates our sin because it separates us from him. So Jesus Christ took all the sin of all the world.

He was the greatest man that ever lived. He was the Lamb of God. He had no sin, and he took all the sin and sacrificed himself. Nobody has ever done that for you before. Nobody has ever paid for your sins except Jesus Christ. And then he didn’t just do it for you. He did it for everybody in the world so that whosoever anybody would believe it, he would give to them the greatest thing in the world, the free gift of everlasting life.

And we would go to heaven on what Christ did for us. Now I’ve trusted Christ as my Savior and I know that I’m going to heaven. I want you to take your Bible to turn there to the book of Revelation chapter 19. Revelation chapter 19. Understand this. If our present administration or any administration can produce this utopia upon the earth, where they can have all the health================================ you wanted, all the benefits you wanted, and live in total splendor the way you want.

You had everything of all your needs. Wouldn’t that be wonderful? It will be for just a few years because you’re still going to die. I don’t know how great it is. No government can give you eternal life. You’re still going to die in this so-called utopia that man wants to create. And if you’ll just give enough money to the government, they will take care of you from the cradle to the grave, from the womb to the tomb. Here in Revelation in chapter 19, I want you to see this verse.

their in verse 11 and I saw heaven opened. Behold, a white horse. He that settled him was called faithful and true, and in righteousness, he’d of judgment make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns, and he had a name written that no man knew but himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood, and his name is called the Word of God. And his armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

And out of his mouth goeth the charts, sword that with it he should smite the nations, and he should rule with them with a rod of iron. And he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and the wrath of Almighty God, and he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name-ridden king of kings and Lord of lords, king of kings and Lord of lords.” There is no leader like this leader. There’s some people who think, you know, different people over the years.

Ah, that was a great leader. I read to you last week an article by Winston Churchill where he talked about your finest hour. Oh, I like that. But he’s dead. Some people still worship this guy named Hitler. Believe it or not. But he’s dead. All the leaders, everybody, they’re dead. There is no leader ever to come into this world. Like Jesus Christ. That’s why the Bible says He is going to be King of kings. Lord of lords. There is nobody over Him.

Nobody greater than him. And the Bible says he’s coming back again. He came the first time just like he said. The next thing to happen is for mankind to be able to have their so-called utopia. It’s called the great tribulation. Would you like to be here for that? Not this guy. As my sister would say, not this girl. I know I’m going out. Call the Rapture. And then the Bible says for seven years, be chaos upon this earth. Because God is going to let man do your best.

Build it any way you want. Give them all of your money. Voluntarily become a slave. Give up all your gun control. Let these experts take care of you. how it’s going to work. And the worst period of time lies right ahead of us. And so all these plans that they have and what it’s going to do for you, it ain’t going to work. It’s going to fail. Because see, I have the greatest revelation of all time called the Bible.

And I have the greatest person who can ever make a promise and keep it as the Lord Himself. Did you know that throughout the years God made thousands of promises to all of His people and never broke a one? There’s some other promises He’s made and I guarantee you He’s not going to lie. He’s not going to re-nig. He’s going to keep His promise. You know what I like? And that’s this idea about if you look into the future.

Do you realize we are going to be in what is called the Holy City? It’s 1,500 miles high, 1,500 miles wide, and 1,500 miles long, over half the size of the United States. One city made a gold. Walls of Jasper and Gage, walls of gold, and Gage of Pearl. What a city! Nobody has ever promised something better than what God’s promised. You see, you can promise a lot of things. I think I probably promised my kids things and didn’t follow through.

I probably promised my wife things and then, well, it didn’t work out. God’s always works out. God makes promises and God keeps promises. God cannot lie. God cannot fail. Do you know that I already know what’s going to happen in the future as far as where I will be? I don’t know all the details of what I’m going to do, but I know where I’m going to be. I’m going to be with Him. Wherever He is, I will be with Him.

And the Bible says that we are going to have no sorrow, no sickness, no death, no pain, no pain, no pain. And the thing that God has promised us the greatest pleasure we could ever experience. There is no pleasure on earth. Ever experienced that can compare with the pleasure we’re going to have when we get to heaven. Because, you see, God allows us to have a little pleasure in this life, plus a little hell on earth. So that you can make a wise decision.

You’ll know what hell is like. Yeah, I’m living in the house. I said, do you believe in the devil? He said, sure do. I said, how do you know? He said, well, I’ll marry his sister. But anyway, there is the greatest promise of pleasure for all eternity. Listen, when there’s no pain and there’s no sorrow, no heartaches, no death, no grief, it’s got to be pleasure. And everybody wants to be pleased. There isn’t anything better than what God has said and what God will do.

Anyway, as I said in my office and I started thinking about that, I just thought, I don’t know if I can end this thing. But isn’t it wonderful to know that we have not second best? We got the best. I know right now I have eternal life. Because the one in Creator that has in the earth is standing behind it. He’s backing it. He’s good for it. I didn’t have to earn anything, pay anything. It’s all a gift because Jesus Christ made the greatest sacrifice of all times.

Once again, as we close here, let me show you this. You and me sin, we all have sin on us. God loves us. Christ came into the world to take our sins. Came back from the dead and said, if we believe He did it for us, He would give us as a free gift of our lasting life. We go to heaven on what Christ did. You don’t earn it. that. It’s a gift. Let’s pray, shall we? Every head bound, every out close.

No one looking around. If you’re here this morning and you’ve never really understood, maybe never trusted Christ. You’ve heard about it, but just never did. I’m not going to have you forward, not going to embarrass you, but right where you’re sitting. I want to know will you trust Jesus Christ and Him alone as your Savior. I want you to go to heaven. And the only way for you to get there is the same way that I’m going and everybody else.

We had to admit I’m a sinner. Christ died for sinners. Will you trust Him as your Savior? He said, if you would trust Him, He would save you and give eternal life. And if He gives you eternal life, friend, it’ll last forever. And you can know that you’re going to heaven. So I head by nice and close. Anyone else who So yes, that made sense to me and I will trust Christ as my Savior this morning. Would you just slip in a break quickly and put it right back down?
