your Bible now and turn to chapter 14. Chapter 14, and look at verse 9, Revelation chapter 14 verse 9. And look what he says here now. And the third angel followed them saying with a loud voice, if any man worshiped the beast and his image and received his mark in his forehead or in his hand, the same shall drink. Now it doesn’t look like there’s much leeway here. It’s like everyone that does this, the same shall drink of the wind of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture.

In the words, there’s no dilution, means there’s no mercy. It is God’s wrath poured out into the cup of these indignation. And he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. Now do you believe that that’s going to happen to the believer? I don’t believe that happen to the believer. Is it possible it could happen to the unbeliever? Then I believe it probably to the unbeliever. So he’s already made the statement a couple chapters before that it is not those who have their names written in the lambs book of life.

So as you go down to here you’ll know to something else like in verse 11. And the smoke of their torment ascended up forever and ever and they have no rest day nor night who worship the beast and his image and who so ever receiveth the mark of his name and you’ll notice here in verse 12 here is the patience of the saints. So here is the patience of the saints for what’s separating the saints from those that worship the beast.

True? I mean this is talking about the one that are lost because you know a saved man isn’t going to burn in a literal fire burning hell. But it is possible and it is going to take place that this is when the patience of the saints separating the two groups. There’s only two groups of people and that’s the saved and the unsaved. The saints and the aunts. So these are the saints so the other ones must be the 8.

And so when you see that in verse 14 about the separation there, remember that that was also mentioned in another scripture. Look there very quickly back there in the book of Revelation chapter 13. You notice what he says again in verse 8, all the world or all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Then notice verse 10, and he that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity.

He that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. And notice this last statement. That’s the same statement. We’re reading over there in chapter 14. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. So you have somebody that’s going to be teaching and preaching and warning the people about what to do and what not to do. Or there may be more behind the scenes that I don’t know anything about. But at this stage I don’t believe that the believers will be accepting the mark of the beast because of what it says about those who do.

And then it shows and seems to me that they do not, whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life are not part of that group. So anyway, I think it’s a pretty good possibility. Look now in chapter 19. Revelation chapter 19 and look there in verse 20. Revelation 19 and verse 20. And I want you to notice another word and maybe underline it in your verse here. The word DC because this word is very, very important. And I’ll say you why in just a minute.

But in verse 20 when Christ comes back to the earth, the Bible says it’s going to take the beginning of the day. to take the beast and the false prophet and he’s going to cast him into the lake of fire. So we’ll see there in verse 20, and the beast was taken and with him the false prophet that were miracles before him with which he and there’s that word he deceived them. So he deceived them. They were deceived. And he says that had received the mark of the beast and then that worshiped his image, these both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

So we know according to this verse that they deceived the world. They deceived. You remember in chapter 12 when it talks about Satan, the devil, that old serpent, the dragon, he deceived the whole world. He’s pretty good, isn’t he? You think you ever had the devil in some way or other deceive you? The Bible says everybody has been deceived. So anyway, he’s talking about being deceived here in this important. Now look in chapter 20, chapter 20. So at the beginning of the thousand year reign upon the earth, the Bible says, an angel came down from heaven having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil in Satan, bound him a thousand years and cast him into the bottomless pit. Shut him up, set a seal upon him that he should and here’s that word again. You ought to like it because it’s important. Deceived the nations no more till the thousand years shall be fulfilled. And after that he must be loose just a little while. So the purpose of what the devil, that old serpent, Satan, that dragon, what he does is he deceives.

Now the way he deceives is with a lie. He lies to you. He lies to me. We have people in our government that lie to us. I mean just outright lie to us. These are men of character and principle and integrity, but they lie like there’s nothing to it like they’ve been doing it all their life. And we keep hearing it. No, if you tell a lie long enough, people are probably bound to believe it.

Just keep repeating the lie. And after a while, you’ll think that’s the truth. Well, anyway, look now down in verse four. and I saw thrones and they sat upon them and judgment was given unto them and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, for the word of God which had not yet, which had not worshiped the base, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hand upon their forehead or in their hands and they lived and rained with Christ.

We’re for comfort one another with these words. Now do you believe that Christ is going to go into the kingdom and some Christian who received the mark of the beast, he can’t go in because he received the mark of the beast. No. Because he can’t leave me outside. I’ve got a ticket.

I’ve got his word. I’ve got his promise. I am his child. I have eternal life. And I’m going to be with the Lord from now on. And he will never leave me, never forsake me. So you let solid scriptures that you do know and understand, helped you to get over some of the things that seem to say something else. But you’ll notice… There is the first resurrection which is the power, the second resurrection which is there is no power.

It means there’s no new birth. It’s the new birth that are resurrected in the first resurrection. And it’s all the others that will hate until the second resurrection because they will stand at the Great White Throne judgment. And I don’t believe any say-man will be among those. So therefore I would have to conclude, and I’m not saying I’m totally 100% right, just 99.8. That’s pretty close on you. This is probably the way it is. Now take your Bible and go.

Now back to the book of Revelation chapter 13, back to Revelation 13. And I left one verse out just a while ago, but I did it on purpose. Now I want you to see there in verse 14, because the false prophet is going to get people to worship the beast, this antichrist, and he will have power to work miracles and deceive people. And so he says in verse 14, and, and here’s that word again, deceived them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast, say unto them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast which had the wound by a sword and did live.

And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. So it was a law that they were to be killed if they did not worship this last world power. So you’ll notice that in verse 6, it causes almost small and great, rich and poor, free and bond to stand, and this is what’s going to take place, and they had to receive a mark in their hand or on their forehead.

This is all interesting, but now go all the way back there with me to the book of Matthew. Matthew and chapter 24, Matthew chapter 24, and you’ll notice that there is an interesting verse, but you have to get it in its context. I’m not going to know what is he talking about. So what helps is if you know where verse 15 of chapter 24 belongs. So look there in verse 15 of chapter 24, and it says, when ye therefore shall see the abomination spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains.

Get out of Jerusalem, get out of Israel. Then he says in verse 21, for then shall be great tribulation. Such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time no nor ever shall be. So we know that this portion of scripture right here in Conde is talking about the tribulation period and is talking about the time when Israel will have made a peace treaty the temple will be built and the Antichrist is going to come on the scene and go into the temple and claim himself that he is God and this Antichrist is going to be able with his false prophet to deceive the world by the powers and miracles that he is able to do.

He’s going to perform a little magic for them and they’re going to fall down and worship him and he’s going to deceive the world. But now during this period of time, Jesus says something very interesting. See there verse 21, “…for then shall be great tribulations such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved. Nobody left alive. Everybody be dead.

But for the elect’s sake, those days should be shortened. The elect. That’s those that are chosen. And generally, we’re talking about this is for those that already know the Lord. There are chosen. But there’s something else to this. Israel was chosen by God. They have not yet accepted Christ as their Messiah. But there’s something else that’s mentioned here. Look what he says in verse 23, then if any man shall say unto you, lo, here is Christ, or there believe it not, for there shall arise false Christ, false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders in so much that, and here’s a part that I wanted you to underline, if it were possible.

They shall and here’s that word deceive. If it were possible. They shall deceive the very elite. Now remember, we’re talking about doing the tribulation period. And we usually associate that word elect to those who have trusted the Lord. So if those who have trusted the Lord, if it were possible, are we saying that it is not possible to deceive God’s children during the tribulation period? I don’t know. Just an interesting thought, isn’t it? But I know you’re going to go home and you know what you’re going to do.

You’re not going to sleep all night. You’re going to get out of commentary in the Bible and you’re going to go on the internet and try to find out. I wonder what this really says and I don’t blame you. But if it gets you to study in the Word, so be it. Have fun. But now notice when it says here that if it were possible that they shall deceive, but there’s some people during the tribulation period, it is impossible to deceive.

Now, take your Bible and turn with me to the book of 2 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians and chapter 2. 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, now we have looked at some of these scriptures before but just one more time just because it’s so, so important. Second, Thessalonians in chapter 2. You’ll notice in verse 8, we know that this portion of scripture is during the same period of time that we’ve been talking about during the tribulation period. This is when the Antichrist claims that his God goes into the temple and says these things.

See what he says up here in verse 4, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or or that is worship so that he has God, siteth in the temple of God, showed himself that he is God. So the temple is not even built yet. The peace treaty with Israel hasn’t been made yet, but is it going to take place? Yes. They’re trying to get a peace treaty now. There’s some people in Israel would love to start building the temple now.

But it hasn’t happened yet. But in the days ahead of us, Remember the Bible says Russia is coming down against Israel. Russia is going to come down against Israel. Believe it or not, we’ll get into that another time. But now look what he says here in verse 8. Then shall that wicked be revealed. This is the Antichrist in the tribulation period. And he says, home the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.

him who’s coming is after the working of Satan. So Christ is coming back after the Satan has his little three and a half years of planarron doing whatever he wants to do. And it’s as worst period of time the world has ever known. He says, with all power and sign and lion wonders. That’s what we just read in the book of Revelation chapter 13, that he’s able to have all these miracles and so forth and able to deceive. Now look what he says, verse 10.

And with all, And here’s that word, Yoda, on the line, it, the sevelfulness of unrighteousness in them that perish because they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved. Now, in the tribulation period, who is it that’s going to receive the mark of the beast, the number of his name or the one world government? It’s those that are lost. lost. It’s those that are lost. They will be deceived because they would not believe the truth.

Then he says here in verse 11, for this cause, God shall send them strong delusions that they should believe a what? A lie. He is the liar, but when they don’t believe the truth, they will believe the lie, but I don’t believe it’s God’s children that will believe the lie. Therefore, I have trouble with thinking that a saved person is going to receive the mark of the beast during the tree relation period. I believe that for some reason they would rather die than receive the mark of the beast.

And multitudes of them will die. Now, we’re living in a time where believers in this country could die for their faith. I know that seems so foreign to even think about. I mean that’s not even a possibility is it? But if you see what’s coming down the road, they’re a little bit about a little forcing the wickedness of the world into our homes and into our churches, it’s in our government and the homosexual crowd. The Bible says that is sinful and it is wicked and God will judge the nation because of it.

And look what he did with Sodom and Gomorrah, and he warns. He as it was in the days of… Sodom and Gomorrah. Well, are we heading toward that? And if you say or do something that offends them, they’ll have a lawsuit on you. It’s coming. And you are not going to be able to discriminate against them. You see, I don’t have any trouble with discrimination. I think everybody ought to discriminate. When I chose the Mary Betty, I discriminated against all those other women in this whole world.

I did. I chose her over all those two three billion women in this world. Well I thought she was better than them. You ought to think the one you married was the best. I just scream and hate. When I go to a restaurant and get something to eat, I want this. I just didn’t choose all those other ones. Look at me I didn’t choose. I said I want this one. I believe that a person ought to be able to start his own business and hire and fire and whoever he wants and pay whatever he wants to.

If somebody wants to work for that, then work for that. You don’t like it? Go start your own. But everybody ought to have the freedom to do it. I don’t like all those quotes. I was in a restaurant yesterday. Oh, it was this morning. I’m sitting there minding my own business like I always do. And I’m sitting there and all of a sudden I heard somebody use the name Jesus Christ in a swear word. And without thinking, this is that quick.

Boom. I said, sir, I don’t appreciate that saying Jesus Christ in the square word. And he says, I’m sorry, I apologize. And he did just that quick. And when I got up, I didn’t realize how big those two guys were. They were huge. I mean, Randy over there is a midget. They were huge. So Betty quickly got me out of there. But that was his point. But that offends me. But nobody cared if they offends you. It’s just that you’re not supposed to offend them.

Well, I know, but that just hit me wrong. I wasn’t prepared. I thought, boom. I said it. Glad my brother wasn’t with me. He took him out. Then I had to defend him and I got my nose broke again. But look what he says here in verse 11. this cause, God shall send them strong delusions. God says, He’s doing, He’s going to allow the devil with His man to deceive, to lie. And they’re going to believe it. But why are they going to believe it?

Because they would not believe the truth. And He says here in verse 12, that they all might be damned who believe what? Not the truth. Now we’re talking about the same paradigm. You got to take this right out of here and take it over here and put it down in the tribulation period, the book of Revelation in chapter 13 and 14. Because that’s where it belongs. That scripture over in the book of Matthew that we’re talking about, that if it was possible to deceive the very left, you got to take that scripture and come over here and you put it right down.

Because that’s the period of time that it’s talking about. And then you’ll find out it all goes together. And so I believe that scripture has to complement scripture. And I believe that this is, in my mind, is a proper understanding of this. Look up here just a moment because I know there’s people that watch by internet. And I want you to know, I’m going to look in straight job all I bought. I’m so thankful that you who watched the broadcast, I appreciate you doing so.

And I hope that what we say and teach is a blessing to you. I wish I could write every person that I get some letters and I don’t have time to answer all of them. And so I send some to him and I send some to Jesse and I do some of them. But one of these days I might be get somebody that’s just going to be your job just answering questions. But anyway, look up here. This gif is you and me and the wallet represents sin.

We all have sin upon us. Now God says He loves us. Now He hates what we do wrong, but He does love us. And the pay for sin is eternal separation from God in hell. And because we’re all sinners, we’re all condemned because we’ve all sinned. But God loves us and wants us to spend eternity with Him. But to spend eternity with the Lord it have to be perfect. Only something that’s perfect can last forever. But we are corruptible, and we’re going to die.

And so God says, you cannot save yourself. This man represents Jesus Christ. He’s the Lord God in the flesh, came into the world because he loves us. He hates our sin because it separates us from him. So Christ took the sin, paid for it on the cross, and came back from the dead. He said, if we would believe that he did it for us, he would put this payment to our account, we get to go to heaven on what he did for us.

That’s free. That’s the gift of God. For by grace are you saved through faith that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God not of works lest any man should boast. I’m so glad I have eternal life. I know that I’m going to heaven when I die. How many of you know you’re going to heaven when you die? Let me see a hand. Okay, put it down. How many of you’re not sure? Don’t raise your hand. But you say, well, you mean all these people think they’re better than I am?

No, no, no, no, no. They think they’re worse than you are. They know that we’ve all done things wrong and we can’t save ourselves. You know, a person has to be pretty proud to think, I’m good enough. I’m such a good person. Lord, you are lucky. You’re so lucky to get it, man. The Lord says, you can’t save yourself. It’s not by your works of righteousness. The only way you’ll get to heaven is if you will just admit you’re a You’re a sinner and you’re a short of God’s perfection.

You can’t save yourself So you’re gonna trust the Lord believe in that he died paid for your sense if he paid for my sins He paid for mine and so therefore I’m going to heaven because I have a payment for all of my sins I don’t have to pay for one sin in hell He paid for all of mine But he paid for all of yours and all you have to do is believe he did it for you and God would give you the free gift of ever lasting life.

Let’s pray, Shari. With his bow nice clothes and no one looking around. If you’ve never trusted Christ as your Savior, would you do it right now? Or you’re that are watching by internet, just right where you are. You see, it’s the only thing you have to do is Lord, I’m a sinner. I believe you died on that cross, paid for my sins, and I’m going to trust you right now as my Savior. Friends, if you’ll do that, just that much God said He would give you the free gift of everlasting life and you can know that you’re going to heaven when you die.

But if you’re here in the audience and you’ve never trusted the Lord, why not do it right now? You saw some people that raised their hand, maybe you’d like to, but you just didn’t feel like you really ought to because you’re not sure. Maybe you’ve got a few questions, a few doubts. Most of us always have. But if right now in the quietness of this moment you say, I appreciate that made sense to me I want to be certain of going to heaven and right now I will trust Christ as my Savior And preach our life for you to pray for and we’ll just slip you in a very quickly and put a right back down in one At all you don’t have to stand up to come forward.

I’m not gonna embarrass you. I’m not gonna point you out I just like to have prayer for you. I really do and when we before we close Say I want to be certain of going to heaven when I die Our Father we thank you so much for this time together bless each one for being here We pray, Lord, that we would be found faithful, to read, to study, to honor you in all things.
