While these passing those out, how many of you know positively? For sure, you’re going to heaven when you die. Let me see you hand. I put it down. Do you think when you get to heaven you’re going to be surprised? Let me read something to you about a person who died and this is what they said about it. I mean what I lied to you, I was shocked, confused and bewildered as I entered heaven’s door, not by the beauty of it all, nor the lights or its decor.

But it was the folks in heaven who made me sputter in gasp. The thieves, the liars, the sinners, the alcoholics in the trash. There stood the kid from seventh grade who swiped my money twice. Next to him was my old neighbor who never said anything nice. Bob who I always thought was rotten away in hell was sitting pretty on cloud nine, looking incredibly well. I nudged Jesus. What’s the I would love to hear your take. How do all these sinners get up here?

God must have made a mistake. And why is everyone so quiet? So, sombre, give me a clue. Hush, child, he said, they’re all in shock. No one thought they’d be seeing you. Did you know that when we get to heaven that the only ones going to be up there are safe sinners. We’re sinners, but we’re safe sinners. And if we look at each other, by the way we live and act and talk and think, nobody would get there. But aren’t you glad that by the grace of God sinners can go to heaven.

And that’s the reason we’re going to heaven. Not because of any good deed that we have done, but only because of the grace of God. Well, as you know, there’s been riots in Ferguson, Missouri. There’s been riots in Baltimore, and now they’re trying to spread it to a few other places. But the thing is, what’s behind all of that? Well, I believe that what I’m going to speak about this morning is going to help solve that problem. I want you to know.

Now, this is something that’s going on right now because of the Supreme Court. And it was on the news and you probably have heard it about it’s It’s going to be an issue. It’s going to be an issue. But what did that mean? What it was referring to? Because Judge Alito asked the question about what is this going to do? And so these words came earlier this week when the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a case concerning whether the 14th amendments must guarantee the right for same-sex couples to marry.

Now the primary issue is whether gay marriage will be required in every state in the union. One exchange highlighted how this upcoming ruling would affect religious liberty. Justice Samuel Alito, Assalicitor, General Donald Varelli, how it would affect educational institutions that oppose same-sex marriage. What about all those institutions? the Christian schools, Bible colleges, and all those churches that refuse to cross the line and say, well, we’ll whine about it for a little while, but we’ll wind up giving in and do it.

No, there’s a lot of people that says it doesn’t matter what law you pass and whether you agree or you disagree, we will not accept it and we will not obey it, we will not agree to it. I will not. Never. Do a homosexual wedding. And as long as I’m able and capable, it won’t happen here. So it won’t matter what the Supreme Court is. Well, there’s the last decision. I mean, they’re the one that gives that final word.

No, no, it’s not. I got the final word. No. I still have the power to say no. So anyway, I see trouble brewing, but this is the question. Well, in the Bob Jones case, the court held that in college was not entitled to tax exempt status if it opposed interracial marriage or interracial dating. So would the same apply to a university or college if it opposed same sex marriage? And so, General Verrell said, I don’t think I can answer that question without knowing more specific, but it’s certainly going to be an issue.

I don’t deny that. I don’t deny that, Justice Alito. It is going to be an issue. And the issue is whenever Bob Jones University refused to change their marriage status concerning race, they lost their tax exempt status. And that was known all over the world just about. I remember that. And they lost their 501c3. Now if this happens and it goes through, I don’t believe all this has to do with just people getting married in that sense. It’s nothing but sex outside of true marriage.

And it’s wicked and it’s wrong and it’s unjust and it’s ungodly. I hope I’m making myself clear. I am not for it. I think it’s wrong. I think it’s detrimental to society. I think it’s wrong because God says it’s wrong. I don’t need any other reasons. But if it passes and they declare that you have to recognize and they have a right, well, there’s a lot of people that’s going to have to say no, it is not right. There’ll be some that will probably yield.

But the purpose of why they’re doing what they’re doing is to close down all churches. a strike against Christianity because they know that if we don’t, then people give to their churches because they get a tax exempt receipt to file with the IRS and so that’s to your advantage. Now people don’t know that a true church is not tax exempt, it’s tax immune, but because of incorporation we have been given a tax exempt status. true churches they never had to and it was always okayReleased and people’s giving was always written off and still is and it doesn’t have to have a 501c3 but if that does then that means they can also tax your property.

Can you imagine what it would do to this church in thousands of churches across this country if they had to pay taxes upon the property? Now this is what they can do to the assets of a church, but a true church is individuals who believe on Lord Jesus Christ. They can’t do anything about us, but they can do a lot to the assets that you have, to the land, to the property, to your money and accounts, and all that, they can take that all away.

So if we were not a 501c3 and you could not get a tax deductible receipt, would you still give to the Lord’s church or would you give only because you’re getting something back from the government. This is something a lot of people will have to wait to find out whether or not where would you stand. But anyway, this is what’s coming and it’s not far away. And because these are things that they’re moving on and there’s a lot of consequences to it.

I have a little paper here that I’ve done and I’ve taught this many, many times before, but I reworked it and redid it because I wanted to bring it to y’all today. In the Bible, the book of Psalms, I want you to look there, the Psalms 14 and verse 1, looking Psalms 14 verse 1. The Bible says, this is on page 604 in the church Bible, the fool have said in his heart there is no God. So you could say the Bible says there is no God, but he also said the fool have said in his heart there is no God.

And if there is no God, then we have all been most miserable and we have a lot of questions that we’ll never get answers for. So look there in your notes, atheism is as perfectly the enemy of man and the full of civilization as it is the opponent of God. The discoveries of science clearly indicate the existence of God. If it be true that the majority of teachers of science in America are infidels, that is only proof of their superficiality and incompetence.

It is not science that has made them so but rather a pseudo-science of evolution and a false science always makes for unbelief. You see, the only alternative to creation is evolution. bad at that. Because the evolution has to start with nothing and life coming from non-life. We’re not talking about the little micro mutations that happens within a species. Forget all of that. That’s junk. Everything still stays within its own family or genus, but it’s the life coming from non-life.

It’s never happened and never will. Something coming from nothing. You’ve never seen it. I’ve I’ve never seen it. So why do you believe that there is a God? Now take your Bible look very quickly to the book of 1 Timothy, chapter six. 1 Timothy and chapter six. I want you to know that this is in the Bible and it serves as a warning, a warning to us because if there’s anything that will be detrimental to your faith is believing in false science where today our scientists have become our gods And we think they are going to deliver us from everything.

They got all the answers. They’re gonna come up with some miracle drug, somehow to solve every problem that we may have. They’ve got anti-aging stuff and all kind of stuff that make you look pretty and all kind of things to make you look young again and make you, what we’re gonna live forever and ever and ever. Fiddle fiddle. Don’t believe all that trash. It’s appointed under every man once to die after this judgment. You’re gonna die. I’m gonna die and you’re gonna die.

We’re all gonna die. So I don’t see if you get another 10, 15, 20 years on your life, you’re still gonna die. And the question is where you’re gonna go when you die. So in here in Timothy in chapter 6 verse 20, oh Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babbling and oppositions of science falsely so called, which some professors have aired concerning the faith. when people do not have faith in what God says, then it’s because they’re believing something that is not true.

If you believe the truth, the truth always leads you to the source of truth, which is the word of God. Colossians in chapter two, just turn to your left, a couple pages, and you’ll come to the book of Colossians. Colossians in chapter two, this is on page 1263 in the No Schoephe reference Bible. In look in verse 7 where it says, for you and I were to be rooted and built up in him and established in the faith as you have been taught abounding therein with thanksgiving, rooted and built up in him in the faith, believing truth, studying the Word of God, knowing the truth Because if you don’t, you will be susceptible to believing the principles of this world and the rudiments of this life and you will not understand truth and you will not be strong and solid.

So he says in verse 8, beware, lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, not after Christ. The Bible says, a fool have said in his There is no God. Now, if a person who doesn’t believe in God is a fool, why should we allow fools to teach our children? Because if you allow fools to teach your children, your children will become fools. They’ll think like a fool because they’re not going to be able to teach them how to think according to what the word of God says.

This is so important. So, and without knowing it, that we’ve turned our children over to the public school education system. They’re taught secular humanism, taught evolution. That means atheism. That means no God, no creation in the schools, no Bible in the school, no prayer in the school. Anything that will help build a child and root them in truth can’t be taught. You can teach a child how to read right, they do that in Russia. They do that in all kind of communist countries.

So our schools is not just for the purpose of teaching them how to read and write, which a lot of them cannot do. But it’s supposed to teach them and to shape their morals or character. That’s why you have to have teachers that know the Lord, know truth, and are godly examples. Is that what will happen? Because we don’t. This is why we’re going to have the result that we’re having in our country. Anyway, look there. In your notes, when you rise in the scale of existences and consequences, advance in the study of science, you come across the most mysterious secrets in the natural world.

Secrets so elusive that as yet the mind of the modern man has utterly failed to uncover them. There’s things that they can discover and they are discovering some great things. But whenever it’s baptized in the theology of humans understanding, you’re not going to get the truth of what things mean. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 29-29 that the secret things belong to the Lord. But there are things God allows us to see and to find and know and understand. But everything God made, He made them for the reason that we would understand that God has given to us evidence for why we should believe in what He says.

Look at the next statement, atheism is the enemy of science. A lot of people worship science as though that is where it’s at. No, it’s not where it is. If it’s false, it’s still damaging. And a lot of scientists believe in evolution. A lot of them don’t believe in evolution. I don’t have to be a scientist and know that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, I’d be a fool not to believe it. I’d be a fool not to believe it.

God says what’s right, God says what’s wrong. Just believe what God said. Now look at that. The American Association for the Advancement of Atheism is operating as a wrecking company of Christian morals. The American Association for the Advancement of Atheism deliberately published their pleasure in them that do evil and express the hope that one representative from their camp may undo the work of a score of missionaries and that a few thousand dollars spent in the circulation of their infamous literature may offset millions spent by the churches.

And you think, here we are, we come to church and we teach the Bible an hour. And then we let them have our children for four, five, six, seven hours a day, five days a week, for twelve years. Do you think that what we’re doing in one hour is going to override all that they do? It’s not going to happen. That’s why whatever’s taught at home, whatever’s taught in the church, and whatever’s taught in the school should all be the same.

not learn one thing in church and another thing at home and another thing in school. Three-legged stool. You take away any one of those and it will not stand. That’s why you need these three prongs. Everything teaching the same so that kids all have a good balanced education. They’ll know who they are, where they came from, what they’re supposed to be doing. Our kids today are not getting this because the parents did not get this and we’re losing our country.

We’re losing our freedoms. All that you see to all these riots and things are going to is the lack of moral compass. They don’t know what is right anymore. They don’t know what’s wrong. They’re like a mob being controlled by a few elites that’s turning them upside down and treating them like cattle because they can’t reason and think for themselves. Anyway, I know that sometimes my convictions leak out just a little bit. Look at the next statement. Civilization has not been the product of atheism.

There’s not an emboldened, ennobling, influenced known to humanity that is not the emphasized product of Christianity. You talk about, was it atheists that started to read cross? Was it atheists that started Salvation Army? Is it the atheists that started the hospitals and all the missions and things like that to reach people that know the rescue mission? It’s believers in a God because the others they don’t care. You’re just an animal anyway. We have something that we believe in with believe us most important.

Look at this little statement, it’s right in the middle of this paragraph, the Christian faith with this one and true God and his wonders and true book has brought to the world more light and has given to living men more happiness than all the philosophies of unbelieving men combined and the crime of the ages. It’s not the murder of individuals, now characterized in and cursing modern society, but it is the sinister, devilish, damnable doctrine now lurking in the halls of every university in the land and of all civilized lands and seeking by smooth speech and in the name of science falsely so called to destroy the faith of Ben in God and in his son Jesus Christ and in his revealed will the Scriptures.

What is going on is the sinister plot to destroy the faith of God’s people. And all most of your programs you’ll have on TV and a lot of your movies it is to wipe away. Everything you hold dear so that you’ll have a different view on marriage. So you’ll think it’s shacking up is all right. It’s all right to have kids out of where it’s locked. It’s okay to be married divorced and remarried a thousand times. It won’t matter.

Not the matter anymore. There’s no right and wrong. And so it becomes acceptable in society. And there’s a lot of other things that I could say, but I just want you to know I’m holding back. I want you to take your Bible looking. First Corinthians in chapter 1, just turn to your left, first Corinthians and chapter 1. The power of God is the gospel. Now you can’t go back and change everything, but when you hear the truth, you can correct some things.

And I marvel at those who decide from now on for the rest of my life. I’m God’s. I know Christ is my Savior and I want to serve the Lord and do right. And God will bless. But you’ve got to have truth. If you don’t know truth, you cannot discern the air. Down at the bottom of the419 page here, this book, Heresies Exposes, one that I got in my office and I got a lot of good stuff that I get from it.

And I use a lot of it in teaching, called to evangelism and so on. Very good. I highly recommend it. more, most important to remember when dealing with an atheist. Although facts can be presented to show a reason for your faith, remember your commission is to give the gospel and your purpose is to win the soul. It may seem foolish to them but it is the power of God. Look what he says here in this verse. Look in verse 18, for the preaching of the cross is to them that perish its foolishness.

But unto us which are saved it is the power of God. Now when you’re talking to somebody that doesn’t believe in a God it’s not like talking to somebody that doesn’t have faith. I’ve been criticized by some of the when I would debate in some of the public schools in Colorado and I’m talking along and doing a pretty good job I thought you know against creation and evolution, creation versus evolution. And one teacher stood up and he says, hey, hey, hold it right there.

We didn’t ask you to come in here and preach your religion. I said, you asked me to come and present the other side. I said, that’s the only other side there is. I said, atheism, you have to believe in evolution. If I present the other side, I got to present God. It’s the only alternative. And the reason you don’t want me to do that is because the only alternative to God is evolution. I says, you don’t want me to use the Bible.

I says, right here on your desk, there’s about 20-30 books all on evolution. And you say, you don’t want me to be believe the Bible and use the Bible because it’s written by man. I said, well, a lot of the who wrote these? You can put your faith in these books. Why can’t I put my faith And they sixty-six books. And the kids were going, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. All over the room. So he’s going to ask me to leave.

He says, I was going to have you here for three classes, but I just changed my mind. This is your last class. I says, so you don’t really want these kids to hear the other side. And the kids are like, yeah, yeah, yeah. So he says, all right. So he brought in two more classes that now put them in there together. They’re standing around the room and several other teachers that were the elites. They’re scientists. They know. postedXXX ICritical tcp Anfield I talked about all of So I went through some of that and I went through some of the things that I knew were just blow their mind.

So I asked them, I said, what part of ontogenin would drink a pizza lady by phylogeny? And they didn’t know. And so I got down to more serious stuff. And by the time I got through, the kids were so glad. And I gave an invitation right in the classroom. And some kids trusted Christ as Savior blew their mind. All the teachers said, mad as a hornet. I figured, I mean, never get back. And I didn’t. So while I’m there, mmm, right between the eyes.

But if you know the truth, you can make a monkey out of some people with hard-coafaxillum. But look down here at this verse. When he makes a statement, the preaching of the gospel is the power of God. You may win an argument, but you don’t want to lose the soul. And so if you will, look there on the next page. A lot of people claim to be an atheist and they’re not an atheist. They’re just looking for somebody that can maybe answer a few questions for them.

And here’s a few things. A letter A there, a number two. When dealing with an atheist, it is not a question of you with faith, talking with someone who has no faith. You see, the believer and the atheist are both exercising faith. Atheists believe there is little or no evidence, so they do have faith that there is no God. So you say, I don’t believe there’s a God. There is no God. You have to have faith in something that makes that statement legitimate.

What is your evidence? What is your evidence? Understand this. The world is God’s evidence. It’s the evidence that’s a God, because the world is here. It’s either somebody made it or it made itself and his Spock would say that’s logical. But it’s not logical to believe that something came from nothing. So if an atheist is going to prove that there is no God, he can’t use the world because that’s God’s evidence. Present your own evidence. Well what does he have for his evidence?

Nothing? What? Do they start with nothing? Because see we start with God. What do they start with? Nothing. Now which makes more sense? Something came from God or something came from nothing. See don’t be intimidated by anybody who thinks they’re a scientist or not. By the way, did you hear about this one woman? She became an archeologist.

Cause she’d do anything to dig up a man. See where’d that come from? You just came. Now look there in Hebrews chapter 11. I want you to see this in your Bible. Hebrews in chapter 11. You want a good definition of what faith is. The Bible tells us what faith is. But there in your notes under letter B, every man has faith. Because every man has the ability to trust. Some of you trust your husband, some of you trust your wife, some of you don’t trust at all.

Some of you can trust your kids, and sometimes you can trust that pew to hold you up, then you can trust that person that you work for, he’s gonna pay it in the week. You trust all the time. You’ve got faith. That means the ability to trust. So everybody has that. You can trust your good works to get you to heaven, but it won’t work. You can trust the Ten Commandments that get you there. It’s just not going to work.

So if you trust Christ, that’ll get you to heaven. Why? Because He has the ability to do it. So everybody has faith, the ability to depend upon something else or whatever.
