So look at number four. Two witnesses doing the great tribulation here. Look up here. during this tribulation period, there’s going to be these two witnesses. They’re going to die. And then the Bible says after the three days, they will be stand upon their feet and ascend in the heaven and they’re going to watch them. So there it is, a resurrection. This year right here, the very next thing to happen according to God’s timetable is for a great resurrection. You see, Christ, that was the first fruit.

And then now it’s going to be a massive resurrection. When the rest of us are great harvest, and this is why we’re gonna be changing the moment and the great harvest of souls. We’re gonna be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. So there’s gonna be a resurrection upon this earth. Now, that could happen at any time. Now, if you have not trusted Christ as your savior and the Lord came back today, you don’t get to go.

You say, well, who do I go? You go in to here. You say, what’s that? Tribulation. Isn’t that wonderful to look forward to? It’s the worst part of time the world has ever known. And I don’t have to worry about being here. And the way things are going in this country and the politicians, they’re trying to speed it up, I think. And so we’re looking for the upper taker, not the under taker. Now, I want you to take your Bible because I want you to see this in Revelation 20, Revelation 20, which is the next one, number five, in your notes, look in Revelation and chapter 20.

Look in verse four, and I saw thrones and they set upon them and judgment was given unto them. And I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads or in their hands, and they lived and reign with Christ a thousand years. This is the first resurrection. See, there’s different phases of the first resurrection because it’s all about the power of God that resurrects the body and gives them a glorified body and that’s why we’re going to heaven.

The second death, there is no power that gives them this glorified body by which they can live in heaven for all eternity. They’re gonna be dying for all eternity. Forever dying and never dying. I’ve been to a lot of places and I’ve watched people die. Forever dying and can’t die. Forever dying but can’t end it. Why aren’t you glad you’re going to be forever living? You’re always alive. You’re going to be with the Lord forever. But see, when Christ comes back in power and great glory, there is going to be a resurrection right there.

And then He says, those that have died during the tribulation period, they are going to go into the thousand year reign upon the earth. There will be another resurrection also that will take place. And there’s a resurrection that’s going to take place the end. Now I want you to take your Bible and turn to the book of John, the gospel of John.

Gospel of John chapter 5, the gospel of John in chapter 5. The Bible tells us that there’s going to be this resurrection. But look first of all, they’re in verse 24. John chapter 5 verse 24 where He makes the statement, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word and believeth on him that sent me, hath, present tense, hath right now, Everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation, but his past from death on the life. Now that verse says that he that heareth my word, I got to hear it.

And believe it, hath everlasting life. You see the gospel must be believed. So to obey the gospel is to believe the message. He says go into all the world and preach the gospel so everybody can hear. But what are they supposed to hear? Well, they need to hear about the cross. They need to hear that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever in the whole world would not perish but have everlasting life.

So from the first person to the last person that will ever be, the first sin to the last sin ever committed and all sins in between Christ died on on the cross and paid for. That’s why I have this read all the way through here because from the first man to the last man, everyone has always been saved the same way. For by grace are ye saved through faith in the cross. That means you believe that when Christ came into the world, He was who He came to be.

He was God in the flesh, that He died on that cross to pay for all the sins of the world. but it wasn’t over. He had to be buried and come back from the dead. Coming back from the dead was God’s stamp of approval upon who He came to be. The Bible says in John chapter 17 that when you put me on the cross, Jesus says, my Father will tell you who I am. He says, I’m the light of the world.

They say, you’re not the light of the world. You say you’re the light of the world. But Jesus says, I am the light of the world. And he says, I am the way. I am the truth. But they didn’t believe that. They wouldn’t listen to him. And so whenever Christ was on the cross and when he died, the veil in the temple was rent from the top to the bottom because he said, I am the way into the presence of God.

And no man cometh unto the Father except through me. And he was the veil in the book of Hebrews in chapter 10, He didn’t talk about the veil. And then he says, I am the light of the world. They said, you’re not the light of the world. But when Christ was on the cross, the Lord through the main switch of heaven and all lights went out, it was dark upon the earth for three hours. He said, my Father will tell you who I am.

Now he claimed to be all of that and he was just that. So Jesus Christ not only died on the cross, but he was very, and rose again from the dead. Him coming back from the dead with the scars in his hands and in his feet is your proof of payment. It’s like he is my receipt. You go to the store and you get something they give you a receipt, gas got a receipt. That means it’s paid for. Jesus is my ever living proof of payment, my payment for my sins.

So I have a payment for my sin and he said, he’ll never leave me and never forsake me. So wherever I go, for all eternity, I have this payment for my sins. Christ was the payment for my sins. He died for me to give me eternal life. So Him coming back from the dead is the foundation upon which Christianity stands. You take away the resurrection of Christ, there is no Savior. There is no payment for sin. There is no hope, and we are all men most miserable.

because if this isn’t true, then everything else He talks about isn’t true either. But if that happened just like He said, then everything else He says must be true. Wouldn’t you believe that? So I believe Jesus is coming again. He’s more real to me than the clothes I’ve got on my back. I know the Lord and I love the Lord. But now look what He says back here in verse 24. Verily, verily I send to you, He that hears my word, believe it on Him that sent me hath everlasting life shall not come into condemnation, but his past from death under life.”

Then he says in verse 25, very, very, very, I send you, the hour is coming and now is when that dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that here shall live, for as the Father hath life in himself, so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself, and hath given him authority to execute judgment also because He is the Son of Man. He is who He claimed to be. So He talks about there’s going to be a resurrection.

But now notice this resurrection and how confusion it might seem when you first look at it. Look at verse 28. Verse 28 marvel not at this for the hour is coming in which All that are in the graves shall hear his voice. All that are in the graves shall hear his voice. So whether they’re saved or lost, everybody dies, their bodies are in the grave. Some of the Old Testament saints are now in heaven. Well, they’re all of them, I don’t know.

There may be some here at the resurrection at this time. But those who have trusted Christ has saved your sense, Pentecost, onto the rapture, all of us make up a certain body of believers. We’re called the church. We are a body and we will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. And so we’ll all be together. But when we talk about this resurrection that’s coming, see this is a resurrection here. There’s a resurrection here. And there’s also going going to be another resurrection when he calls out those that are dead in the book of Revelation chapter 20.

But notice what he says in verse 29, “…and shall come forth, they that have done good unto the resurrection of life, they that have done evil unto the resurrection of damnation.” Now that verse scares a lot of people. Because when you look at it, see like if you’ve been good, life, you’ve been bad going down. And so many people think that, you know, where you spend eternity depends about how good you’ve been. So they picture in their mind this judgment like this one.

And there’s this great headed God up there. And He’s got the scales out there. And He’s going to put all of your good works on this side and all of your bad works on this side. whichever outweighs the other determines which way you go. So you’ve got to sit there and sweat it out. So nobody knows where they’re going when they die. You have to wait until this judgment to find out if you made it or not. Oh, wait a minute.

Look once again up there in verse 24. Verily, verily, truthfully, I send to you, He that hereth my word and believeth on Him, that sent me half. present tenth. That means right now. Not in the future, not at some judgment, now, half what? You have it now. So I can have this eternal life now and I don’t have to wait to some judgment to find out if I made it or not. Remember, you never take complicated scriptures or verses that seem to say, you’re saved by your works, in order to understand a simple verse like Ephesians 2, 8, 9 or John 3, 16.

You use those verses to understand these complicated verses sometimes. So when God says, for by grace are you saved through faith and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, then you know being saved cannot be by your works. Whatever this verse says, it cannot be that a man is going to be saved by His work. It cannot be that. And if it can’t be that, then there might be another explanation. Isn’t that possible?

And you want to know what it is, right? Me too. Oh, look again in verse 29. And shall come forth, they that have done good unto the resurrection of life, they that have done evil unto the resurrection of damnation or judgment. These are going to be rejected. But the last part of verse 24, notice what it says again. Hath everlasting, shall not come and can never be condemned in the future, but is passed from death. It’s already done. That means that there’s somebody that don’t have to wait till this judgment to find out where they’re going.

According to this verse, he that heareth my word and be leavin’ on him that send me half, present in half, right now, half what? So you can know you have eternal life when, when you believe it. So that’s the verse that shows you that you can be saved right now and shall not in the future cannot be condemned. That means I cannot be condemned in the future. Impossible, can’t be done. Now either that’s true or it’s not true. So you look there in John chapter three.

It’s better to always try to find out a meaning of a person of scripture within the context of that chapter or that book itself. So look there in John chapter 3. Looking verse 18, he that believeth on him is not condemned. What does that say? He that believeth is not condemned. So that means there’s no judgment in the future that can condemn him. He is not condemned. Look what else he said. He that believe if not is condemned when.

All right, so here’s a person who believes and he dies. There’s a person who doesn’t believe and he dies. There’s both going to be a resurrection. But this resurrection is not a general resurrection where everybody’s resurrected at the same time. No, the Bible lays it out at different times there’s resurrection. The loss will be resurrected at the end and they’ll all stand at the same time at the Great White Throne Judgment. And that’s the judgment the Bible talks about the second death because they did not have the second birth.

So they die. Those who have been born twice only die once. But if you’ve only been born once, you’re going to die twice. Because you’re going to die when you die physically. And then at the Great White Throne judgment, you’ll be eternally separated from God for all eternity. But if you’ve been born again, saved, you’ll die one time and never again. But the loss will be died twice. Because we will never be separate, death is separation. We’ll never be separated from God.

So now notice what he says in John 3 and verse 18. But he that believe if not is condemned when already because he have not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. This is why a man is saved or lost because he believed or didn’t believe. So what would that mean over there in John chapter 5 and verse 29 when he talks about they that have done good and they that have done evil? The good thing that anybody can can do is to believe on Christ.

The evil thing that a man can do is to reject the salvation God’s offered. Do you realize there is a literal fire burning hell that people who reject Christ are going to go to? They’re not going to help to pay for the sense they’ve already been paid. They rejected the payment. That’s why when I was 18 years old I heard this for the first time out the best news I’ve ever heard in my life. Must be some Scottish in me.

So when I heard it was free, I jumped right on that. I don’t know. But now notice what else he says here. Look in verse 19 of John chapter 3. This is the condemnation that light is coming to the world. Men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil for everyone that doeth evil. That’s the the words you see over there in chapter 5 and verse 29 and then in verse 21 but he that doeth truth or doeth right that does good that’s those who believe.

So verse 20 for everyone that doeth evil rejects the light, who is the light? Christ is the light that came into the world. You reject the light, you don’t, Christ is the light, he is the truth. So when you reject that you don’t get eternal life. He that here is my word and believe it on him that sent me half everlasting life. So you see, I’m not waiting some day to go to some great white throne judgment to find out if I’m going to go to heaven or not.

Christ took my judgment. That’s why I don’t have to go there to be judged. Isn’t that great? But the lost man who rejects that payment, he’s also going to be resurrected and there’s going to be a resurrection. and all the bodies are gonna come up. And those that have done good to life, those that have trusted Christ, those that have done evil, those that did not accept Christ. That’s explained in John chapter three, verses 20 and 21, but in verse 21, but he that doeth truth or good cometh to the what?

And those that don’t reject the light. So when you see that, you could go back to go back to chapter five And look at verse 29 one more time, and shall come forth, they that have done good unto the resurrection of life, those that believe, and they that have done evil that rejected the light unto the resurrection of damnation. So there is going to be this judgment. So you have blown my mind. I hope I’m trying to clear it up.

You’re gonna die. And the question is, when a man dies, shall he live again? Look in chapter 11 of John, John chapter 11, and verse 22, verse 22 of John chapter 11, but I know that even now whatsoever thy will ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus said unto her, thy brother shall rise again. Now, Jesus was talking about then, that day. She says, well, I know in the future, I know there’s going to be a resurrection.

See that in verse 24. Martha said unto him, now her brother had died, been dead for four days. Martha said unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. I know that. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life. He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believeth style this.” She said in him, Yay, Lord, I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

. Now, Jesus Christ, who has the power to raise from the dead, he says that all things that he did was by the power of the Holy Spirit. I was told that they have a movie that just came out about when Jesus was a little boy. Anybody heard that? Now, let me tell you this. When Jesus was a little boy, there’s no scripture that says anything about what he did until he was 12 years old. And then he was in the temple, and after that there is silence again.

When the scriptures are silent, keep silent. When the scriptures speak, speak. Don’t believe anything else you hear. They make nice movies, people make money, and people get entertained, but some people wind up believing the stuff. When it comes to the Bible, I believe I know the Bible. I know what it says here, what it says here, and a lot of it I can quote. doesn’t mean I understand everything, but I know there’s some things that are not in there.

And the Bible says that he did all things by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit came on Christ on the day of his baptism. And so there were no miracles done by Jesus before that time. So how you can use the Scripture, they can solve everything. Because But if you don’t know that, well, Jesus, He just took those clay pitches and wasn’t in His power to do it. But anyways, we’re moving right along. The Bible says there’s going to be the resurrection.

And you and I, though our bodies are going to be placed in the grave, and some of our loved ones have already been placed in the grave, they’re not there. We don’t believe in so sleep, like 70 Adventists. We believe that when you’re absent from the body, present with the Lord, and the very moment you die, separation, not annihilation, you’re either gonna be with the Lord, or in hell if you haven’t trusted Christ as a Savior. That’s why it’s so important.

Now you can take these notes and you can look up all these scriptures and it’ll give you a little bit more enlightenment. And I hope that they will. I had fun drawing all of this. I sat there with a computer and I work and draw all this stuff. And I got a whole bunch of them that I’ve done. And I never know when you’re gonna get the next one. I never tell people what I’m gonna do because then they will only come on the one they think is important.

Some kid that trusted the Lord, I read it this morning. In 1973, he said, you did something with a wallet. Evidently, he didn’t come enough to understand. I don’t know, I don’t even know who the kid is. But then it’s something that 43 years ago, so it’s wonderful serving the Lord and then seeing results years and years later on down the road. But look at me now. I want you to watch me. This hand represents you and me. At no time will this hand ever leave my wrists.

I want you to watch and make sure. And this represents sin. Now what is this? It’s a wallet. It represents sin. This is my hand. It represents you and me. So the Bible says that you and I have sinned against God. We’ve all done things wrong. But God says that He loves us, but He doesn’t love our sin, He loves us. He loves you. Regardless of how bad you are, He still loves you. But the pay for that sin, so you’re sinned against God.

So God says that you’re gonna get punished for that. You’re gonna be eternally separated from God because of your sin, you did it. And that’s for all eternity. But God loves you and wants you to go to heaven, but He can’t let you go to heaven because of your sin. He’s a just, God, a holy God. If He let you into heaven with your sin, then it would be sin in heaven. And then heaven wouldn’t be heaven. It would be just like down here.

And we don’t like what’s down here. So why God, He doesn’t want it up there either. So God says that the wages sin is death, you’re all condemned because you’re all guilty, and the payment for sin is eternal separation from God. So the Bible says that God loves us, wants us to go to heaven, and we have to be without sin. Man can’t make that happen. Man has no way of getting rid of his sinful nature. I don’t care what you do, you can’t get rid of it.

You can scrub yourself with acid, and you can’t get rid of your sinful nature. It’s on the inside, you can try to turn from your sins, but sin is on the inside, you can’t turn from it. You can’t quit your sinning. It’s what you are. It’s your sinful nature. It’s natural. We’re naturally rebellious and envious and jealous and all that thing, and you can try to quit it, but you can’t do it. You can try it. Try it. Say how you do?

You hand do it. So God says you can’t save yourself. This hand represents Jesus Christ, God in the flesh. Came into the world because he loves us. Hates our sin because our sin separates us from him. So I can’t get to him. He can’t get to me. Why? Because of sin. So I can’t do anything about it, but he can. So he came into this world and lived a perfect life. He didn’t have any sin. He didn’t have to die.

So because he loved us to show how much he loved us, He took all the sin of all the world. All of the world, all the sin paid for it on the cross, came back from the dead. He said that if you and I, if we would believe, he did it for us, he put the payment to our account. And we get to go to heaven on what he did. You don’t earn it, you don’t work for it. It’s the gift of God.

And so that very moment you trust Christ as your Savior, he says he gives to you eternal life. He says these things have I written unto you that believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have. have eternal life. See, we don’t have to wait to some judgment in the future. The lost man is going to have to wait if he doesn’t trust Christ. The Savior, he has to wait here. And that’s not to determine his destination.

That’s to determine the amount of punishment he receives in the final hell. You and I, we’re not going to heaven because we’re any better than the lost man. We’re only going to heaven because of the grace of God. We trusted Christ as our Savior. They could, but most won’t. Now you may be here and you don’t have to go to hell. You don’t have to change your life. You don’t have to earn it or deserve it. You just have to qualify.

You have to be a sinner. And if you’re a sinner, you qualify. Isn’t that good news? If you’re a goody-goody two-shoes, God can’t save you. He came to save sinners. Christ died for sinners. Well am I glad I qualify it. See now you don’t feel so bad being a big old fat sinner, do you? That’s That’s the best news in all the world. God loves us so much. That’s pretty showy. His bow nice clothes and no one looking around.

If you’ve never done it before, would you trust the Lord right now? Today, the moment that you have right now, just talk to the Lord and say something simple like this, Lord, I don’t understand it all. I know I’m a sinner. I believe when Christ died, I believe He died for me. And I want to trust Him right now as my Savior. God said, if you trust him right now, he saves you right now, gives you eternal life right now.

And you can know that you’re going to heaven. Would you trust him? I’m not going to have you forward, not going to embarrass you, not going to have you stand up, not going to point you out, but I’m going to ask you in just a moment, just so that I can have prayer for you. With his bow and eyes closed, I’m going to ask you if you’re just slipping your hand up very quickly and put it right back down.

Zoom with it all. So yes, that made sense to me, and I want to be certain I’m going to heaven, and I’d like you to pray for me. We’ll just flip it up very quickly, put it right back down. Anyone at all? If you’re watching by internet, the only thing you have to do, it’s the only thing you can do, is will you believe he died for you? Pay for your sins, will you trust him? I pray that you will.
