Well, you’ve got some notes that I wanted to share with you. Cause you know, some years back, they passed Roe versus Wade. making abortion legal. But I don’t believe many Christians really know the proper stance that they should have. Well what does the Bible say? What does God have to say about abortion? Well you may not know this but he has quite a bit to say about it. So I want you to take your Bible and turn to the book of Psalms.

The book of Psalms 139. I’ve used these verses a novel lot because they are just so precious they really are. Tells us how the Lord thinks about you. Thinks about me. So if you will there in verse 13 he says, it’s on page 667 in a oath go for reference Bible. For thou has possessed my reigns. Thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise thee for I am fearfully and wonderfully made, marvelous are thy words, and that my soul knoweth right well.

My substance was not hit from thee when I was made in secret and curiously rotten the lowest part of the year. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet been unperfeiled. And in thy book all my members were written, Which in continuance were fashioned when as yet there was none of them how precious also are thy thoughts under me. Oh God How great is the sum of them? If I should count them they’re more in number than the sand when I awake I am still with thee It’s wonderful to be able to read the Bible and have God tell us He’s the one that made us.

You ever wondered where did God made you? Now Jesus, whenever He came into this world, the Bible says in the book of Hebrews, in chapter 10 He says, a body has thou prepared me. So Jesus, he already existed, but God prepared a body for Him. You see, God creates you and prepares a body, specially designed for you. When He makes this statement here that yet being unperfect, when you weren’t even totally developed. God, see, is developing us all our life.

Believe it or not, when I was born into this world, I was already here for nine months and I’ve been developing ever since. And I think I done gone over the hill of development. I think I’m being undeveloped now. But some people have a problem with whatever we are, trying to describe us. You hear a lot of people say, well, you know, it’s just an embryo and till a few weeks, and then after that it’s a fetus. And so let me just give you this.

developing young in the Eurus, especially the unborn offspring, and the post-enbrionic period after major and anemical structures have been outlined. In humans, it is the product of conception with the end of the eighth week of gestation to the moment of birth. The term used to describe a developing human infant from approximately the third month of pregnancy until delivery. The third embryo, or the term embryo is used prior to the third month. So after that, you know, you’re a fetus.

And a fetus many don’t believe that’s a live person, that it’s a real baby. And so it’s okay to do away with it. Now you’ve heard some of the things that have been said in the news lately and videos that have been made and what’s going on in Congress and somehow how people think and feel about some of this. We would never think that anybody would ever try to justify taking an infant’s life. My personal opinion, I think it’s absolutely wrong, it’s murder.

I don’t think it’s a godly thing. I don’t think it’s the right thing. I think it’s a way of covering up with another sin. But whenever you’re going to make a choice, make the choice not to have sex outside of marriage is one good choice. And then if you’re going to have a child, have the child and they ought to be a daddy to help raise the child, just my personal opinion. But it is the developing young in the uterus, especially the unborn offspring in humans from nine weeks after fertilization until birth.

Now that’s the definition that many people use. I’m not saying it right because I believe that it’s a child from the moment of conception, period. So you notice it number one in your notes there, I just want to reflect upon a couple of thoughts there. God possessed me, reveals that God owns me, directed my My growth covered me and my mother’s wound, reveals that God put a body on me, then I had to have been there. If God put a body on me, I must have been there, and I believe I was.

Look at 119th Psalm. Just turned back to about 10 Psalms there, 119th Psalm. Psalm 73. These are verses that you ought to have underlined in your Bible, cross-referencing, because there’s a lot of people that may not know what God has to say and part of serving the Lord is helping people to see from God’s Word, where God stands. Because some people may not think it’s okay, it’s acceptable in society today. And so therefore there’s no guilt, there’s no shame, because it’s been justified.

But I believe that according to the Bible, it’s wrong. See in verse 73, thy hands have made me and fashioned me. Give me understanding that I may learn thy commandments. Many of these verses we cover on Tuesday night, but because we’re talking about uniquely you, unique you are, how specially designed you are. And because of the way God has wired you and built you and why you have the personality that you have. All those things are good. Because when you understand it, you’ll know more about how to serve the Lord the way you are instead of trying to be something you’re not.

Look at number three there in your notes. But before we get there, look in Psalms 127 Psalms 127. And just maybe underline this verse in your Bible, it’s not in your notes, but it’s in the Bible. Verse 3 says, “…low children are in heritage of the Lord.” And get this, “…and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” Now the title of the message is fetus or fruit. So when he says here, the fruit of the womb. So would you say that’s a fruit or a fetus.

It’s a fruit. You see, there’s fruit that’s going to come. And that person is going to develop and lo and behold, you’ve got a little baby boy, a little baby girl, going to grow up. You know, sometimes when you look at little babies, they look so cute, so helpless. It’s amazing how if you want a man to make a fool of himself, put a baby in his hands. You’re coo coo and hollah! Just totally turning to an idiot. My wife cannot pass up.

I don’t give her to store, restaurant, wherever it is. There’s a baby. She goes to it like a martin to a gourd. And she even wants to take the kid away from the parents. She’s been watching and taking care of the nursery for so many years that she just loves little babies, loves kids and she’ll let all yankie isn’t that cute. No, we’re not having none. And you can’t have that one either. So. . . . . . .

. . Children are wonderful. You know it’s kind of sometimes like little puppies. Isn’t little puppies so cute? I don’t get what breeds are there. Look cute little things. But then they grow up to be a dog. And those cute little babies, they grow up to be adults. Now we don’t fuss over the adults like we do those little babies because they’re so sweet and so innocent. You know they haven’t done anything to nobody. There’s just so hell. So helpless, so humble, so dependent.

And there’s some people who just love to be able to meet their needs and watch over them and take care of them. We had three children, and I’m thankful for our children. But I’m thankful that God made me a man and God made her a woman. I wouldn’t want to have a kid. I’m so glad the women had the babies. And I’m so glad that I’ve never asked Betty to preach for me. And so don’t ask me to change diapers.

You know, I just thought that was fair. says, that baby’s spoiled? No, they all smell like that. The fruit of the womb is his reward. So it’s a special thing, and it should be looked upon from God’s viewpoint what God has to say. Now turning your Bible to the book of Genesis. Back there to the book of Genesis, that’s going back pretty far in the Bible. Genesis in chapter 16, Genesis 16 and look very quickly in verse 1, in verse 1.

Now, Sarah, Abram’s wife, bear him no children, and she had a hand made an Egyptian whose name was Hagar. Sarah, said unto Abram, Behold, now the Lord had restrained me from bearing. I pray thee, going unto my maid, it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram, heark unto the voice of Sarah. done move, done move, but he did. So our Abram’s wife, tookAdds her, made the Egyptian after Abraham had throughout 10 years in the land of Canaan, gave her to her husband, Abram, to be his wife.

And he went into unto Hagar and she conceived. You see that word’s conceived, you got to underline that word in your Bible. It has to have a meaning. It must be something that must mean that she’s going to have a child, she’s going to have a baby. And when she saw that she had, and here’s that word again, this is the moment of conception. Her mistress was despised in her eyes, and, sir, I said, on the Abram, my wrong be upon me.

I have given my maiden to thy bosom, and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes. The Lord judged between me and thee. But Abram said unto, sir, I, behold, I made is in thy hand due to her as it pleases thee. And when Sarah dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face. He says, I’m out of here. The angel of the Lord found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to sure.

And he said, Hey Gar, Sarah is made, when’s came thou? And where the will thou go? She says, I fled from the face of my mistress, Sarah. And the angel of the Lord said unto her, return to thy mistress, submit thyself under her hands. the angel of the Lord said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude, and the angel of the Lord said unto her, Behold thou art with fetus. Thou art with what?

That means that inside the mother’s womb must have been a child. The Bible says that, and this is before the baby is born. That’s a child. And shall bear a son. So God already knew, hey, is it a boy or is it a girl? He knew what it was. And he told her what you’re going to call his name. Do you believe when the Bible says in 139 Psalm that God’s thoughts, how numerous they are about you and about me, and that God fashioned you?

He knew exactly where he was going to be male or female, tall, short, He knows exactly everything about you. And He put the right person in that body. And He closed, used that body. You’re gonna be born into this world. Now God says He’s behind the scenes. Now you don’t seek God. But the Bible tells us why God does what He does. And God knows if you’re a male or a female. And sometimes we have people today that don’t really know if they are a male or a female.

Isn’t that a shame? Isn’t that a shame? All they got to do is just stand in front of a mirror. And if they can’t see, they got mental problems. They ought to be able to know. Anyway, that’s not my subject tonight to get sidetracked. So we won’t go there, not at this moment. So they’re in number three in your notes here. What does it say? Thou art would feed us your child? Did God know if it was male or female?

Has God chosen a name in advance? Do you think that God has a purpose for that child, a reason? I think God did. God says that child is going to have an awful lot of people because that’s a seed. That moment of conception becomes a seed. It’s a seed. Day on the road can plant more seeds. And everything that the seeds need to produce was right there at that moment of conception. Everything that it needs. number four Exodus chapter 21 a book of Exodus chapter 21.

I know this may not be the most exciting message in all the world but that’s okay. I’m not the most exciting speaker in all the world and I don’t feel the best in all the world but the Word of God is still the Word of God and what it says. So here in the book of Exodus, what’s that like in verse 21? Let’s start in verse 22. Verse 22, if a man strive and hurt a woman with what? With child so that her fruit depart from her, so a child and fruit must be the same thing and the fruit of the womb must be referring to a child and it’s at the moment of conception.

So I don’t need a doctor to tell me when life begins. I got the Bible. The Bible is the truth and that her fruit depart from her and yet no mischief follow, he shall be surely punished according as the woman’s husband will lay upon him and he shall pay as the judge determines. Now I’ll get the next statement. And if any missed you follow, in other words, the mother lives, but the child dies, then thou shall give life for what?

Life. The person that takes the life and causes that child to die is supposed to die. I didn’t write the Bible, but I do believe the Bible. I believe it’s wrong for doctors to abort a baby. Laws are no laws. I believe it’s wrong. I believe it’s wrong for women to get pregnant and then want to kill the baby and then talk about, well, the right to choose. Why didn’t you make the choice before that? It’s S-I-N. S-I-N. So the Bible teaches that that child inside of the womb is a life because the mother lives but this dear life dies, that means it must be a separate life.

Can you see that? I’m not trying to force it, I’m just letting it say what it says. And that’s what it says. Look in the book of Job, the book of Job. Job is a wonderful book, Job chapter 10. Job chapter 10 and look in verse 8. This is on page 576 in an old school for a reference Bible to one the church’s Bibles. And he makes this statement in verse 8 of chapter 10, book a Job, thy hands have made me and fashioned me together round about.

And yet thou just destroy me. He’s saying, God, you made me and now you’re destroying me. Because of all the things that happened in the Job, he just thought, hey, life is over. I guess I’m gonna die. And he began to curse the day he was born because he’d lost his children, ten of them, lost his health, lost his wealth, and his wife says, why don’t you curse God and die? He was having a bad day. So he says here in verse 9, remember, I be ceased thee that thou hath made me as the clay and will thou bring me into dust again.

Has thou not poured me out as milk and curdle me like cheese? Look in verse 10 or 11, thou hath clothed me with skin and flesh. So you’re not just flesh. You’re not just skin. You’re not just bones. That’s the body. You are a soul living inside of a body. And then he says, and has fenced me with bones and seniors. In other words, I’m trapped inside of this body, like bars that hold my soul, like being inside of a prison.

You can’t get out of the body. If you get out of the body, you’re dead. So you got to carry around everywhere you go. Whatever you do, you got to carry that hunk of flesh made out of clay everywhere you go. And God says, don’t fall too much in love with that old flesh. It’s going to die one of these days. It’s going to change shapes and sizes and looks and gets a few little aches and pains along the way.

Like Jay was talking about needing cataract surgery. You got a cataract. I got a link in continental. Now look in verse 12. Verse 12 says, thou hath get this granted me life. The right to life. God has granted you the right to life, is right to life in the Bible. Yes it is. And favor and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit. God created us and granted us the right to life. Those little babies and her mothers won’t have a right to live.

Isn’t it a shame that we have so many women today talking about how that, you know, women’s rights, women’s right. Since when does a woman’s right override the baby’s right? Thou hath granted me life. We should seek to always do what’s right and honor the Lord, to please the Lord. Now look there in the next scripture, Luke chapter 1, all the way over to New Testament. See if it It changes by the time we get to the New Testament.

I don’t think it does. Luke chapter 1 and look there in verse 31. Luke chapter 1 verse 31, an angel of the Lord comes to see Mary. Already done talk to Zachariah and Elizabeth. John the Baptist was already on the way. She was about six months pregnant with him. So he says here in verse 31, and behold thou shalt conceive in thy womb. Once that happens, the baby is on the way. Conception. Bring forth a fetus. Bring forth a what?

A son. And shall call his name Jesus. Do you believe that God has a plan? has a purpose that God can really create individuals, determine their sex and determine where they live, who their parents may be. See those are some choices we never had a chance to make. But God made them. And then He says in verse 32, does God know the future? He shall be great, shall be called the Son of the highest, and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David.

He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel, how shall this be sent? I know not a man, because she’s a virgin. The angel answered and said unto her, the Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the highest shall overshadow thee. Therefore also that, and you ought to underline those two little words, holy thing, which shall be born of the shall be called the Son of God, that holy thing.

I believe every child is a holy thing. But of course, Christ had no sinful nature. He was totally perfect and Mary was used by God to provide a body in which the Son of God would come into this world so that he could live a perfect life under the law, never sinned and voluntarily because he was innocent, give his life for us. Now notice something else. Look in verse 36, and behold thy cousin Elizabeth she hath also conceived a son in her old age and this This is the sixth month.

So this is a child, a son, a babe, and it’s the sixth month. Now you’ll hear them say that you’re just a fetus until you’re born. Then you’re a child. The Bible doesn’t teach that. Look what it says here. If you notice it makes a statement in verse 41. And it came to pass that when Elizabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the fetus leaped in her womb. Now this was at six months, remember. The babe leaped in her womb.

Now, chapter two of the book of Luke, Luke chapter two, and Notice in verse 5, chapter 2 and verse 5. You know they were on their way, Mary and Joseph, to the house of David, Bethlehem, because they had to go to the place where they were to pay their taxes. And it says in verse 5, to be taxed with Mary is expos, wife, be in great with fetus, great with what? See, when you put those other words in it, it just don’t fit right.

But it’s better to go what the Bible says. And so it says here, great with child. And so it was that while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. She brought forth her first born son. So this was a child, first born son. Now something that’s interesting to see is here in the book of Luke in chapter 2 and you’ll notice in verse 12 where it says in verse 12, and this shall be a sign unto you, you shall find the babe wrapped in swelling closed line in a manger.

Now with Jesus the babe has been born and is in the manger. True? Called a babe. But now you look there in Luke chapter 1 and verse 41 it came to pass that when Elizabeth heard the salutation of Mary the babe leaped in her womb. So the babe in the manger and there was a babe in the womb. What’s the difference? One’s in the womb and one’s out of the womb. They’re both babes. Are you a new listener to Bibleline?
