The Bible says it’s appointed under every man once to die, and then after this what? The judgment. And there’s gonna be this great white throne judgment. And if there’s gonna be a judgment, there’s gonna be a conclusion. There’s gonna be the results of the judgment. You see, people who think they’re good enough to go to heaven or save themselves by their good works. God’s gonna show you that you’re going to be judged by your works and your works were not good enough.

And you don’t have to wait until this judgment. He’s already told you in advance, not by works of righteousness which we have done. But according to His mercy, He saved us. Then He says in the Philippians 3, 9, and be not found in having our own righteousness which is on the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith. There’s a by works righteousness where you try to earn your way to heaven.

And there’s a by faith righteousness, one that you can have by faith and what Christ did for you. And so yes, you have to be as righteous as God to go to heaven. But what he does is he gives you his righteousness and that makes you as righteous as God. You go to heaven what Christ did for you. You see, if this teaching isn’t true and I didn’t believe it, I never went to Bible college. This burned in my mind.

I couldn’t get out of my mind. I kept thinking about my mom and I thought about my stepdad and my brother and my sisters, my relatives. I didn’t want them to go to hell. And I kept thinking, well, why don’t somebody reach them? And as I know of all of our relatives, I was the first person to ever trust the Lord. I never met a person in all of our relationships that ever talked about the Lord, knew the Lord, had nothing to do with it.

And I determined I’m going to try to get the God. And if it wasn’t for believing in this, I could not fathom the idea of my mama spending eternity in hell. My brother, my sisters, well, it wasn’t that bad with my sisters. But I didn’t want any of my relatives, none of my family. I wanted them to know the wrong, I wanted them to go to heaven. That’s why I decided to go to the Bible. That’s why I wanted them to become a preacher.

I just wanted to tell people how to go to heaven. Because there was a passion there. There was a burning desire. And mainly because of this, this thing that you see on the screen. There is a man-made place, what is? But purgatory. Purgatory, see, is not in the Bible. It’s in the Apocrypha. those are some of the books in between the Old and the New Testament, but they are not in the canon of Scripture. They’re not inspired of God.

And so those are not in our Bible. This is a man made place that doesn’t exist. It’s supposed to be a temporary holding facility for those who died until sins have been purged by time or served by, you know, payment from friends in the Roman Catholic Church or still alive. In some people can do good works and put in your account and pay money. That’s just a good way for a religion to make money. Has nothing to do with the Bible.

They may be sincere, but they’re sincerely wrong. It’s not in the Bible. There is no purgatory. You see, well, what is purgatory? Well, that’s because there’s people that believe they’re, you know, you’re not good enough to go to heaven, but you’re not bad enough to send to hell. So there has to be this middle place. You know, there’s a heaven, there’s a hell, but you know, You’re not that bad, but you’re bad, but you’re not that bad. I mean, you’re good, but you’re not that good.

You are not that good. You are that bad. You have to be perfect to go to heaven. One sin will do you in. Adam and Eve only committed one sin and what did, what happened to them? Got kicked out of the garden. Died. One sin. How many of you done? Don’t answer that. I bet it’s more than one. I remember one time I told a white lion. But then I found out it was colorblind. You see in the Maccabees, it says, what they called the apocryphal books, book, but this is not in the Bible.

So you don’t have any validation for the teaching of purgatory. There is no purgatory. And the other thing to remember is if you want to take and have a good answer, you just take and go to the scriptures. But you see purgatory is not mentioned in the Old Testament. It’s not mentioned in the New Testament. It’s salvation by works. You see, you weren’t that goods. So that means your works were not that good. You weren’t that bad so you means that your works weren’t that bad.

It’s all about works. And if you will do better works, you see you go to God. So your salvation depended upon your work has nothing to do with Christ. And that’s why you need to understand after you die. So pointing to every man wants to die, then the judgment, no second chance. There’s not gonna be another time, well when I die I’ll just stand before God I put a tear in my eye and I’ll just smile at him and you know he’ll let me somewhere he’ll let me right on it It ain’t gonna happen Captain Be not deceived it will not happen That’s not the way God wrote it in his book.

He’s told us He’s the one that made heaven He’s the one that made hell and he tells how to escape hell and go to heaven. You said I didn’t ask to be born Who did? Who did I didn’t ask to be born but I was born and this is the state of the affairs this is reality and people can live in a dream world if they want to and deny that there is a God and deny. Yeah they can do all that and they want to but they ain’t going to change the facts.

You sin and you’re going to die and God is holy and he is all powerful and he’s already been told you how it’s going to end up. Gave to you and I gave us a choice. Now the Bible says this in the book of Hebrews chapter 1 verse 3, who be in the brightness of his glory. Tell me about Jesus Christ and the express image of his person and I’m holding all things by the word of his power when he had by himself purged our sins.

So I don’t have to go to a place and try to work off my sins or pay for my sins or do anything or depend on anybody else. He’s already purged my sins by himself. He doesn’t need my help or anybody’s help. He sat down on the right hand of the majesty on high because the job is done. The work is done. In other words, what all I needed to do to get to heaven has been accomplished. All he wanted me to do when he came back from the dead was believe he did it for me.

I can handle that. But you know, there’s this sincerity that Council Moses, an uncle of the religion, the sincere. Since Saturday is not a substitute for truth. If that was all that was necessary then don’t have to worry about it. Just let everybody alone and look how many people are going to go to heaven because look how many religions are and they’re religious because they’re sincere. So everybody’s already going. So Christ says, going to all the world and preach to God for everybody unless they’re sincere in their own religion.

No. Another of you. Well God will say based upon the light they have. They didn’t know. Think about all the people that they don’t know. You know, this really bothered me. This is one another reason why I decided to serve the Lord. Well, God will say based on light revealed. Well, God saves him based on what Christ did. And here’s the reason for wording this this way. Because some people, well, they didn’t know and and they knew a little bit more and they knew this, but they didn’t know about Christ.

So God’s going to save them based upon the light they had, you know, without Christ. Because a lot of people never heard about Christ. What about all the people over in Africa? I don’t know why they’re always over in Africa. All the lost people are in Africa. Get this. Now God will judge according to the light one has received, but God will not save according to the light received. will judge at the great white throne judgment based upon the light you had.

And if you accept the light, the truth, the evidence that God gave, He would have gave you more evidence. And evidence leads to a conclusion. But when you reject light, you’re rejecting truth. You’re rejecting the path to righteousness. But God will only save a man according to the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Did you or did you not accept that? God saves Him based all upon this one thing alone. There is no other way. No other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

There is only one person you can trust in for eternal life and that’s Jesus Christ. And without Him, there is no hope. Now, the only proper response to the state of the un-evangelizes that they deed or lost without Christ. This is supported in several ways. You see, why you are without excuse? Are there people that are without excuse? No, that Bible says everybody that’s condemned, everybody’s condemned. But he then believe with them is not condemned. That’s those who believe in Christ.

But those who haven’t believed, he says you’re condemned already. But why is a person without excuse? Romans chapter 1 and verse 20. This is what he says. Through the outline words here, reality, reason and results. And I want you to look in your Bible very quickly with me. Romans, in chapter 1, the book of Romans, in chapter 1, and look in verse 18. Verse 18, this is what he says, in verse 18, for the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness.

In other words, God is is letting the world know that he is against ungodliness and that the unrighteousness that people do, God sees and knows everything. He knows every individual and what every individual has done. And then he says in verse 19, because that which may be known of God is manifest in them for God have shown it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and God had so that they are without excuse.

Now look up here. God created the heavens and the earth. And God says that the heavens and the earth is the evidence that there’s a God. And He shows this evidence from the day you’re born. You didn’t make this world, didn’t make it and you know your parents didn’t do it, but you know somebody had to. Where’d we come from? Those are things that is on the inside of you, that desire to want to know. You may later on down the road because you didn’t get the answers you were looking for, you can become an atheist.

I can talk to this one man. He said, I’m an atheist, thank God. He said, you can’t know anything for sure. I said, are you sure? For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world. The Lord has limitless evidence. In other words, everything you see, as far as you can see, the whole world, even yourself, look in the mirror. That’s the evidence there is a God and this person who has this supreme authority. There’s nobody greater than God God, and God made the world and stuck you in it and says, I did this.

Now you proved he didn’t do it. I don’t try to prove to people there’s a God. You proved to me there is no God. You can’t do it and get this. His eternal power means we know that there has to be a God and he lives forever. He has to be the source of everything. He cannot depend upon anything for His existence, self-existent eternal God. From past to the future, He is the eternal I am.

And He’s the Godhead, He is divine. And God is the authority. And God says, He knows what you know. He knows how much light He’s given to you. And He knows how many years you have lived and things that he has revealed to you whether through people, through your parents or whether through the pastor or the Word of God, all things is giving you a little evidence here and a little evidence and if you follow the evidence it leads to the Lord.

Now since the start of creation, as he says from the invisible things of him, from the creation, creation. People have seen God. That’s what he made. Now, you’ve never seen him face to face, but there’s not a person in this room can deny that they haven’t seen the evidence of God. You may not give him the credit for it. You can believe that it just happened by accident. You’re free to choose whatever you want to believe. You can be an atheist or an agnostic.

You say, what’s an agnostic? Oh, it means without knowledge. So I’m ignorant praise God. I’m an agnostic. I love listening to people who are trying to sound so intellectual and they’re so stupid. To believe or not to believe, it is your choice. It’s my choice. So 57 years ago in a little old living room, I was 18 years old and the man explained this to me about how to have eternal life and I trusted Christ as my Savior. I never knew that God as a person becomes so real to me.

You see, I knew that there was a God and I knew about God a little bit, but now I know God. And you know what’s better than me knowing God? Him knowing me. We have this seal, the Father, no of them that are his.” Now, there’s the verse that I mentioned just a while ago in the book of John chapter 3 verse 18. He that believeth unto him is not condemned. But he that believeth not is condemned when? Already.

You see, you don’t have to wait until you die to find out if you’re condemning it. If you haven’t trusted Christ, you’re condemned. He said, he that believeth unto me hath everlasting life, and he that believeth not shall not see life. but the wrath of God abides upon him. You’re living right now under the wrath of God, and when you die, that wrath is going to fall. Right now, you’re living under the mercy of God, and God is not willing to initiate prayers, but He wants you to trust Him as your Savior, and He has been merciful to you, allowing you to live this long, but the day is coming when it’s all over.

He says, yes, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named. Why is it important if it doesn’t matter? This is the apostle Paul writing in the book of Romans, and he’s talking about the importance of the gospel. He says in the next verse 24, he said, but as it is written to whom he was not spoken of, they shall see. It means if they don’t go, doesn’t tell and they don’t hear, they will not see and they will not understand.

That’s what makes it so important for us to do what we do. This is why I’m thrilled to death when my kids go out on Friday night so winning and why I like the kids working in ranch and I like hearing from different people of y’all that are witnessing on the job and some of y’all got a little chat room, some of like Gary Steffinov, he got a little chat room and he wins people to the Lord on on the internet.

And Jim Blevins back there has got a ministry that he’s reaching people in Japan and Saudi Arabia and I mean everywhere. And he’s just, he’s the one, he’s that guy that’s standing up here picking the guitar. They ain’t all he knows how to do, but you’re doing what you can. For which cause also I have made, I’ve been much hindered because he couldn’t come to them because he was out reaching people in places that had never been before. The rich people had never heard because he wanted them to know that.

You see, if none of this is true, then the whole Bible has no purpose to it. He drink and be married for tomorrow you die. And don’t worry about it. But what if it is true? I’ve been to the say that some of you all have some friends. You may have an in-law. Even if it’s your mother-in-law still trying to reach her. It may be some relatives of yours. It may be some family members. You You know, like kids and grandkids, don’t you want them to go to heaven?

Who’s going to tell them? Who’s going to tell them? Well somebody, somewhere you hope, somebody always says, what about you? What about you? Only reason I wanted to become an appraiser because I couldn’t find somebody else to do my job. And one day my father-in-law told me, he says, Yankee, why don’t you stop your complaining? if you don’t like the way other people do it or don’t do it, why don’t you do it yourself? And that was up in Athens, Georgia, sitting in a little old apartment, wood bedroom apartment, and I’m sitting there and he, man, he’s just penetrating my heart.

That’s that I will. And that’s what I’ve been doing ever since. The logical argument. If the unreached are not headed for hell, then the worst thing that Christian could do is to tell them about Christ. Because if they hear the message, there’s a possibility of rejecting it and going to hell. However, if they don’t hear the message in the first place, hell, isn’t even a possibility because, well, if God’s just gonna judge and clear the light they have, well, if they don’t know, they can’t trust the Lord.

They can’t trust the Lord because they didn’t know, see there? Didn’t they get a check and chance? Aslogic, but not scripture. That’s a person kind of reason themselves out of the responsibility. Just like a lot of God’s children, they know this and they believe every word of it. but somebody else will reach them. Therefore, the best decision is to call back all of our missionaries. Was Paul out of place going to these places, the priest, the gospel, if it wasn’t important, that he waste his life?

Or all the preachers waste in their time trying to encourage people to trust Christ as their Savior and then trying to challenge people to study the Word of God so they can go strong in the Lord so they can give correctly and try to reach people? Is our radio ministry a waste of time? The YouTube, that’s all a waste of time, the streaming life, is that a waste? Or is it valuable? Is it worth it? By all means to do what we can.

How can I communicate hell by non-Christians? You know, a few suggestions. Don’t be afraid to talk about hell. Jesus wasn’t afraid to talk about hell. He spoke more about hell than it about heaven. Well, what about sin? What nobody wants to hear about sin? That makes people feel uncomfortable. But in our gospel presentation and the way we get it, We always mention hell, and we always mention sin, because the way we present the gospel, because we believe it’s important.

You see, what makes the gospel such good news is the bad news. You see, if there’s no bad news, you don’t need the other. Remind on believers that hell was prepared for the devil and his angels. Man, through his rejection of Christ, will enter into their presence. Just think of who you’re going to be in the presence of for all eternity. I wanted to be in the presence of God where he talks about, and his presence is joy forevermore, eternal pleasure.

And the devil and his angels are going to be cast into a lake of fire. And those who reject Jesus Christ as Savior, look what kind of company you’re going to be in. And you really want that? Avoid speaking of hell and saying, as just spiritual separation from God. There is that and I say that all the time, but I also want to add in this a literal fire burning hell That’s why you need to get saved It’s not like something I can do I can take it or leave it.

It doesn’t really matter Oh, I’m just gonna be separated from God’s okay big deal No, do you realize the consequences where you’re gonna be? That’s why you need a savior if it was just going back to nothingness. I don’t guess it’d be that bad I don’t remember what was going on before I was born that didn’t bother me and if I don’t exist anymore it won’t bother me but it will bother me if I’m in an literal fire burning place for all eternity that will be a problem.

Teach about hell and balance with God’s attributes of justice and righteousness. Yes God is just. God is righteous. Sin must be paid for and He did that for us because you see the other part of that you don’t want to forget is that God displays his love, his compassion, his forgiveness, and that’s why it’s also important. And I like to have a balanced message, a balanced approach, not sin. I succeed all the time, but I don’t want to waste your time.

I don’t want to waste my time. I believe what I’m teaching is the truth. I believe this. This end represents you and me. The wall of represents sin. We all have sin on us. God loves us. Now, He hates our sin, but He loves us. He loves you. He loves all of us. But you see, when we sin, we’re condemned because the law of God says the wages of sin is death, eternal separation from God in a literal fire burning hell.

But God, see, He loves us once to go to heaven and to go to heaven, you have to be perfect as righteous as God. None of us are perfect. None of us are righteous. We have all come short of God’s perfection. Short of God’s glory means God is perfect and we are short, way short. And God says, you cannot save yourself. You cannot do anything to deliver yourself from this devastating dilemma. This hand represents Jesus Christ. He’s the Lord God in the flesh.

He came into the world because He loves us. Hates our sin because our sin separates us from Him. So what Christ did, for one person, He did it for everybody. He took all the sin from all the world, and paid for it on the cross, came back from the dead. And He says, the only thing He wants you to do to go to heaven is will you believe I did that for you. See, right where you’re sitting, you can say, I believe that.

And if you’ll believe that, that means that payment put to your account, you get to go to heaven on what he did. It’s free to you and I. We don’t have to turn from our sins to be saved as though you’ve got to qualify. You don’t have to promise how you’re going to serve God. That makes your salvation based upon you stopping certain things and doing certain things. That makes salvation by works. God says, by grace alone. Faith and what he did, not what you do.

And see, the only reason I know I’m going to heaven today and in the future because I don’t have any sins to pay for it, he paid for all of mine. Did he pay for all of yours? And if he paid for all of yours, do you believe he did it for you? And when you believe he did it for you, he puts the payment to your account. Now, how many sins did he pay for for you? All of them, if he didn’t pay for all of them, he didn’t help you.

So he paid for all of your sins. And all you had to do is believe that he did it for you and God gives you eternal life. So when you get ready to leave, you can say, I’m going to heaven because today I believe Christ paid for all my sins. That’s why I can’t go to hell. That’s how I know I’m going to heaven. And that’s the best news in all of the world. There’s no tricks to this. There’s no gimmicks to it.

And the results of it are so important. Is heaven or its hell. He that believeth is not condemned, but he that believeth not condemned already. Do you know you have eternal life? I do. And I’m going to heaven. This is because I’m better than someone else. I’m a sinner and I admit it. But he loved me, had compassion on me, and forgave me of all my sins. Let’s pray Showery. With every bow in every eye closed and no one looking around.

If you hear this morning and have never trusted Christ as your Savior, would you just talk to the Lord and say something simple like this? Lord, I don’t understand at all. I got questions and I got doubts. But the best of know how, I believe that when you died, you died for me. And today right now, I will accept Jesus Christ as my Savior. I’m trusting Him to take me to heaven whenever I die. And friend God said, if you’ll trust Him, He’ll save you.

And you can know that you’re going to heaven. And I’d like to have prayer for you. I’m not going to have you forward. I’m not going to have you stand up and come down to the front or sign a car to do anything. Don’t want anything from you. Salvation is free. But if what I’ve said made sense to you, say, preach that, that made sense to me. and I want to be sure I’m going to heaven when I die and I’d like for you to pray for me.

Would you just slip your hand very quickly, put it right back down? Yeah, one of them. One of them. Just very quickly. If you’re watching by the internet, right on the screen, say, yes, I trust Christ as my Savior, would you trust Him? It just lets us know that what we said made sense to you. Our Father, we thank You again for Your blessings. Thank You for Your goodness to us. For loving us so much that You are willing to make a payment for all of our sins so that we could have eternal life.

We don’t have to earn it or work for it. We don’t have to deserve it in any way. But it’s the gift, a gift from you, because you love this.
