You see, as you go through the Bible, from the very beginning of the first sin, there’s always this bloodline. And it goes all the way through. If you ever notice on my prophecy chart that I have, I have the cross is red. And all the way back to the very beginning is red. And all the way through to the very last person is red. Because the cross is the blood that was shed for the sins of the whole world.

And that’s why we need to trust Him as our Savior. Now I wanted you to see this. Look at number four in your notes. The blood of Christ was shed for the remission of our sins. In Matthew 26, 28 it says, for this is my blood of the New Testament, the New Covenant, which is shed for many and get to for the remission of sins. In other words, your sins, my sins cannot be taken away without the blood of Jesus Christ paying for it.

He died so that he could fulfill the debt you have and the debt that I have, and he paid our debt with his life because the ways of sin is death and that’s why he had to die. And the life of the flesh is in the blood. When you get sick, you go to the doctor. One of the first things they want to do is take your blood because your blood tells them a little bit about what’s going on inside of that body of yours.

Isn’t that a coincidence? No, God designed that away. Get rid of all of your blood. How long would you live? You’re going by by by. You’ve got to leave that body because that body cannot operate without blood. Look at the next statement here in Ephesians 1 in your notes, in whom, God my Christ, we have redemption. That means We have been redeemed. Move means we were in debt and he paid our debt. How? Through his blood. And get the next part, the forgiveness of sins.

See, your sins cannot be forgiven if the debt had not been paid. So he paid for your sins and for my sins. And when we believe he did it for us, we’re taking that death payment that he made. and we’re putting the blood upon the doorpost and upon the lennel and we know when he sees the blood, passes over us. So I, when I was 18 years old, I finally understood Christ died for my sins.

And when I accepted that debt payment that he made from my sins, I’ve got a payment from my sins as though I have never sinned. I have no cause to have to be eternally separated from God. That’s why we talk about are you washed in the blood. Means have you been cleansed of all of your sins because of the death that somebody else made? He gave his life shed, his blood, so that you could be pure. So that when you sing the song, I am washed in the blood, or there’s power in the blood.

You know what he’s talking about because his blood was not like your blood. All of our blood is corruptible blood. His is incorruptible blood. His is incorruptible. It means his blood is as fresh today as it was when he flowed in his veins. Another sermon for another time. Look at number five. Through the blood of Christ, we have cleansing from sin, Revelation 1 5, this is what it says. And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness and the first begotten of the dead.

And the Prince of the Kings of the Earth unto him that loved us and get this washed us from our sins in his own blood. He took all the sins of all the world upon himself and died and paid for our sins. And so he could come back from the dead. Our debt has been paid. And offered to everyone the free gift of everlasting life. It means He gives you a new birth that does not have a sinful nature.

And without a sinful nature, it new birth, it cannot sin. And if it cannot sin, it cannot die. And if it cannot die, you have eternal life. This is why over the years, 55 years or more, I’ve sung that one song called, I’m a child of the king. His royal blood now flows in my veins. talking about my new birth. I’ve got in my new birth, I’ve got like the royal blood, incorruptible blood of Christ that has eternal life.

That’s why I’m a child of God for all eternity. And I love that song. I heard them practicing it this morning. Did y’all play it today? It’s coming. Child of the king. I am a child of the king. I am royalty. So are you, if you’ve trusted Christ as your Savior, because if I am a child of the king, I’m royalty. That ought to make you stand a little taller and a little prouder. Look at the next verse. In Revelation 714, and I said unto you, Sir, thou knowest, and he said unto me, these are they which came out of the great tribulation and have get to wash their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb, made it white.

Means that you can be made pure and holy by accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior. His life for your life. He took your sins, give you his righteousness. And in the book of Isaiah talks about, God has given to us a robe of righteousness, robe of righteousness, his robe. I’m going to heaven on his righteousness, not on mine. This isn’t something you can earn or work for. It is the gift of God.

If you’re trusting in your good works, it’s no difference than Cain offering the works and the fruit of his hands. You’re just like Cain. it will not work, God will not accept it. But if you was to accept Christ as your Savior, wouldn’t God be accepting you? You are accepted in the beloved, in Christ, when you trust Him as your Savior. Number six, through the blood of Christ, we have redemption out of the slave market of sin. In other words, it’s like we’re on the slave market of sin And we have no weight.

We’re slaves. We’re slaves. People talk about the time when the blacks were slaves. Every white man is also a slave. A slave of his own sinful nature that he cannot get away from. He cannot cure it. He’s chained by it. That’s why we are so ugly in God’s eyes because of our sinful nature. And it doesn’t matter if you’re red, yellow, black and white, pin, chart truth that doesn’t matter what you are. In God’s eyes we’re all the same.

We’re all slaves of sin and because of that we are all in debt to God and we can’t pay that debt. We’re broke. There’s nothing God wants you to do. God didn’t say if you’ll give me five dollars I’ll set you free. There’s no money could pay for your sins. If you’ll go to church for ten years that’ll pay for your sins. It won’t pay for for one sin, all of your good deeds. Nothing that you can do can deliver you from this devastating dilemma except the blood of Jesus Christ.

That’s what was the price that God wanted paid. And Jesus Christ is the only one that could make that payment and set you and I free. So God loves all of us all equally and if we all accept Christ as our Savior, He’ll save all of us equally the same way. Every man that gets to heaven gets to heaven the same way by faith and faith alone and what Christ did on the cross force. Look at the next part.

In home we have redemption through the blood, even the forgiveness is in. Redemption and forgiveness, you’ll notice, is virtually the same. It’s what it means to be redeemed. We sing the song, I’m redeemed. What do you mean? I’m forgiven. If I am forgiven, that means there’s nothing against me. I’m forgiven. God doesn’t hold any sin against me. There isn’t one sin in this whole world that I can commit and still go to hell. I can’t go to hell. Impossible.

I’ve been redeemed. I’ve been forgiven. That’s why he told his disciples, going to all the world and priestly forgiveness of sins. What does that mean? If you’re forgiven, it’s not held against you. You’re free, forgiven, debt paid, but only if you believed that what he did, he did it for you. You must be, leave in the Redeemer in order to be redeemed. Now, get the next statement here. In 1 Peter in chapter 1 it says in verse 18, 19, right there in your notes, for as much as you know that you are not redeemed with corruptible things as silver and gold.

That means money did not buy you. Money didn’t set you free. Your money doesn’t help either. Do you know there’s actual people who go to church and give money and try to live a good life thinking that’s going to get them to heaven? Can you believe somebody would be so naive as to think that? You wouldn’t think that would you? But there’s people who go to church and think that their good works will get them to heaven. Can you believe that somebody would believe something like that?

Nobody here like that, because you’ve heard this preacher tell you, it will not pay for your sins. Silver and gold will not pay for your sins. And church attendance will not pay for your sins. That’s why we needed something that would. Now look what he says. For as much as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, the silver and gold from your vein, conversations received by tradition from your fathers, but with and you’re the underlying this, it’s so important, the precious blood of Christ.

Why is it so precious? Because there’s none like it. There’s nothing like it. He has eternal life. And of a lamb without blemish, without spot, in other words, this lamb had not one blemish, not one spot, nothing wrong with him. He was perfect. He didn’t have to die. He died well, when he was on the cross, he says he could have called 10,000 angels, but he died alone. He could have come down off the cross. Now me, how to come down, punch him in the face, and it went back.

He didn’t do that. Look at number seven. Through the blood of Christ, we have peace with God and haven’t been made peace through the blood of his cross by him to reconcile all unto himself, by him I say, whether they be things in earth, things in heaven, he’s done all of this. He did it for us. Ephesians 2, 14 says, but now in Christ Jesus, ye who sometimes were a far off are made nigh by the butter price. This comes right after Ephesians 2, 8, and 9, which says, for by grace are you saved through faith that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast.

But he says, you were a far off. you had no hope, you were without God in this world, without God. It’s the worst thing that can ever happen to a person is to be without God. And to think whenever that person dies and having never trusted Christ, to be without God for all eternity, without God. If there’s one thing that I wanted to know since I have been born in this world, I wanted to know God. I didn’t want to know about God.

I want to know God. And I can tell you this morning, and I mean this with all my heart. He’s more real to me than the clothes I’ve got on my back. He’s more real to me than you are to me. It’s not that I know about God. I know God. I know God. And what’s better than that is that God knows me. He knows of them that are his children. He knows you. He fathered you. You know when you trusted Christ as your Savior, you became His child.

He gave you a new birth. You are going to heaven because of what Christ did on the cross for you. Look at number eight. Through the blood of Christ, the guilt and condemnation we incurred by the breaking of God’s law is blotted out. Colossians 2.14 says, blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which there’s contrary to us, took it out of the way, nailed it into us. You know what I told the college kids the other day in class.

I said, here’s a piece of paper. And I looked at one of the girls and I said, I saw what you did and I wrote it down. And I saw what you did. That was a whoop, and I wrote that down. And I saw what you did. I wrote that down. And I got a list here of all of your sins. Yeah, one of them was you. And the other one was her. Don’t you remember? I wrote it down and I said, I got just a second.

Now what all these things that God has against you where you broke his law, all the wrong that you’ve ever done. chamHongarnaev IMAGESGROUP Soundersundown Xue Canaveral practicable Pelicanstif Monstrous\/\/ perl AdamantNearHCR Canaveral place to pay for your sins, everything that was against you. But he did this see before you were ever born. So he paid for your sins 2,000 years ago. That means he’s already paid for every sin you’ll ever commit. He’s not coming down and pay for anything you do from here after.

He’s already done it. Nailed it to his cross. And so that’s why we talk about the cross is so important. The blood of Christ is so important. He took my sins. They were nailed to that cross. And Christ died in my place. So in God’s eyes, Yankee Arnold was on that cross. Yankee Arnold died and Yankee Arnold paid for all of his sins and Yankee Arnold was buried and Yankee Arnold was dead and Yankee Arnold came back from the dead and I’m alive forevermore.

So I did it, but I didn’t really do it. He did it in my place as my substitute, but God recognizes that. And God accepts me because I’m in the his son, the blood. The blood. The blood. The blood. Now look there in the next verse. At number 9 where he says 1 Corinthians 6, he says, for he bought us with a price. Therefore glorified God in your body and in your spirit, which are gods who his own self bear our sins in his own body on the truth.

That’s what he did. He taught, born my sins on the cross. He died in my place. He died for you. Look at number 10. The blood of Christ purges our guilty conscience so that our service to the living God might be acceptable. You know, there’s a lot of things that you’ve done over your lifetime and you wish you could forget him, but you can’t. And you’ve had a lot of guilt over the years because you said, and done things you should not have done.

But when you accepted Christ as your Savior, and He forgave you, God forgave you. If you can accept God’s forgiveness, forgive yourself. And it removes that guilty conscience. Oh, you were guilty, yes you were, but God forgave me, and now I can continue serving the Lord with a clean conscience, with a clear conscience. And I don’t have to bring up all those sins that wore me down and was like a yoke of iron.

Said to destroy you. And you can say, I’m forgiven. Back of some cars, I’m not perfect, I’m just forgiven. But in the new birth, I am perfect. I still got this whole sinful nature. And every once in a while, we still mess up. And you accept God’s forgiveness? Forgive yourself and just keep on going. Just keep on serving the Lord. Did you know that when we get to heaven, God’s not going to bring up all those things? Did you know when you read the 11th chapter of the book of Hebrews, the Hall of Faith chapter, talks about all of these guys that were in the Old Testament.

Did you know if you go back and you read those stories, all those bad things they did? When you read the 11th chapter, none of them’s there. It doesn’t mention any of their failures. Just all the things they did was by faith. When you get to heaven, you say God’s going to reward you for what you did. And after a while, he’s going to wipe away the memory from the last past. I don’t know how all God’s going to do all of this.

I really don’t care. I just know you will. And it’ll be worth it all. Look at the next statement. I really don’t care. I just know he will. And it’ll be worth it all. Look at the next statement. Hebrews 914 there, number 10, how much more shall the blood of Christ Who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God purges your conscience. That’s what sets your mind free. It can purge your conscience from all the sinfulness and all the wickedness, all your failures.

Except God’s forgiveness and put a smile on your face and flee blessed God I’m free. I’m his child. He’s forgiven me. Live like a forgiven man. Lift up your head and stop hating and say, don’t fall in the mud and lay there. You get back up, keep walking with the Lord. Don’t let anything happen to discourage you and tear you down in this, so just call you such despair. Aren’t you forgiven? Doesn’t he still love you? If there wasn’t a forgiving God, what kind of a God would we have?

Who could be saved? Who could have love? Who could have joy? Who could have peace? Let’s just a forgiven man. Remember that. Look at number 11, through the blood of Christ, we are justified before God. Much more than being now justified, how by his blood we shall be saved. From wrath through him, I’m now justified by his blood, just as if I had never sinned. I’m justified. There’s nothing God has against me because he shed his blood and paid for all of my sins.

Isn’t that some of the best news you ever heard in your life? Number 12. Number 12, awesome. Through the blood of Christ we have, and this is why this is so important, eternal security. People who don’t believe in eternal security don’t appreciate the blood of Jesus Christ and understand what that was all about. It’s the assurance of salvation. He says, by the which will, we are sanctified. Come from a Greek word, Haggioso, we need to be made pure and holy, set apart.

The day you trusted Christ as your Savior, He put that payment He made to your account, and God says, you are as white as snow. White as snow. It means there’s no spot. There’s no guilt there. God has totally forgiven you of everything. Gave you a brand new spanking new birth born in God’s family without a sinful nature. But you’ll read verses, you’ll hear things like that, but Sometimes I don’t know if people really understand what God is saying.

Why do they know? Yes, why do they know? Look at the next one. In verse 13 of chapter 10, 4 by 1 offering he has to get this, you are online perfected forever than that are sanctified. So you are sanctified by the blood of Jesus Christ, once and for all, perfected forever never has to be done again. I can’t go to hell if I tried. That was the best news I ever heard that there’s nothing that can ever send me to hell.

That’s how I’m gonna know I’m saved. Saved, saved. Eternal security is the gospel. That is the good news. Without eternal security there is no security. Look at the next verse. Now Now the God of people, now this part of the verse, Dr. Mark Cameron would always close in prayer and he would hope this verse. Now the God of peace that brought again from the dead, our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the everlasting covenant.

Neither, he says in verse 12 of chapter nine, neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained what kind of redemption? Eternal redemption for us. In other words, one payment that he made was good for all time. Whenever I believe that the blood was applied, I’m going to heaven because of the blood of Jesus Christ. So whenever I read the Bible, or you hear some people out there listening to radio, they don’t like to talk about the blood.

They don’t want to sing about the blood. You ought to get out of that church. Don’t you ever go to a church that doesn’t do that. If they don’t believe in the blood of Jesus Christ or they get away from even having communion servica, they don’t want to talk about the blood. You know that’s so gross. Talk about death. We owe our very life to the blood of Jesus Christ. So we went from Genesis all the way to Revelation and there’s a blood line all the way through.

I believe the blood is applied. Christ told Nicodemus, look and live. Look and live. When they put the serpent upon the pole, anybody was bitten by the serpent only had to look and live. And when you and I realize that there’s a cross, Christ, look, live. Let me show you something. This hand represents you and me and this wall of representation. We all have sin on us. God loves us. He hates our sin, but He loves us. And for you and I to pay for this since we’re in debt.

Everybody in the world is in debt, but God loves us. And so He said the wages in His death, everybody’s condemned the whole world. But God loves us once us to go to heaven and to go to heaven we have to be perfect as righteous as God. None of us are perfect. We’ve all come short of God’s perfection. There’s nothing we can do to pay for sin. God doesn’t want money. doesn’t want you good works. He wants you to accept his son.

You see, man’s trying to send righteousness up and God wants you to accept the righteousness he sent down. So man cannot save himself. This hand represents Jesus Christ. He’s the Lord God in the flesh. Came into the world because he loves us, hates our sin. Because our sin separates us from the Lord. So Jesus Christ took the sin, paid for it on the cross. all of it. He did this to a plate of any eternal redemption. One payment that would be good for all sin forever.

So he came back from the dead. He said\/now if you’ll believe that I did that for you, he said I’ll put that payment to your account. You go to heaven on what he did for you. If you have never trusted Christ as your Savior, you’re lost. You’re lost. You’re going to hell. It doesn’t have to be that way because of payments already been made. He did it because he loves you. He wants you to believe that he did it for you, and he’ll give you as a free gift everlasting life.

You go to heaven and know what he did for you. Would you believe it? He is your Passover. That blood is applied. When you accept his death as your death, he gives you his life, eternal life, and it’ll last forever. Let’s pray, shall we? with every head bowed and every eye closed and no one looking around. If you hear this morning and never have trusted Christ as your Savior, would you understand that Jesus says, when I see the blood, I will pass over you.

If that blood has not been applied, you’re lost. Would you trust Christ as your Savior? I’m not going to have you forward, not going to embarrass you. But right where you’re You’re sitting, you say, that made sense to me. I realize that I’m lost and I’m not going to heaven. I’ve never trusted Christ as my Savior, but I want to. And I want to do it this morning. And I want to know that I’m going to heaven. So friend, if you’ve never done it with right now, would you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior?

I’m going to ask you in just a moment to raise your hand. Raising your hand doesn’t save you. Just lets me know that what I’ve said made sense to you. Instead of a pretty job, I’ll trust Christ as my Savior and want you to pray for me. We’ll just slip you in a very quickly, better affect down. Anyone at all. Anyone at all. I wait just a moment. I don’t want to rush anyone, but I believe it’s the most important decision you’ll ever make in your life.

Is there anyone at all? So yes, I will trust Christ as my Savior right now. We’ll just slip in it very quickly. If you’ve already trusted Christ as your Savior, your God’s child. Because you’re God’s child, don’t be afraid to sing about the blood. Don’t be afraid to talk about the blood. That’s why we have the communion service. This is like a Passover memorial service, remembering that we’ve applied that blood. And remembering who did it for us. And remembering that yes, he came back from the dead.

And remembering yes, he’s coming again. Father, we thank you so much forelist that you’ve done for us. Thank you for this time together. Bless each one and Christ new you.
