All right, we are going to begin. This is a makeup test. And so we are going to cover part two. This is on a overview of the book of Revelation. We covered much in the book of Daniel and also the like the first six chapters of the book of Revelation. And so what we’re gonna do is look at what is called the Four Horses of the Apocalypse. Anyway, the four horses of the apocalypse, you’ll hear that phrase mentioned many times, but those four horses are actually in the book of Revelation chapter six, but it’s a prophetic collapse of the world.

It is a disaster, it’s a calamity, it’s a catastrophe. It’s the judgment of God upon the earth, and it’s called in many places, the wrath of God. So the wrath of God is coming. He opens the book with the seven seals, and that is in chapter 6, and we went through four of these horses that are mentioned there. First of all, you have the White Horse, and the first White Horse mentioned there in the book of Revelation chapter 6 is the Antichrist.

This is the man with the bow, but he didn’t say he had an arrow. But anyway, he comes on promise and peace. And then when he has to, he will kill. And that’s where you have the Red Horse, which is the blood. That’s the war. So over these periods of years, which is only seven in number, as to maximum it can be, you have the Antichrist coming and setting up his kingdom. And the Bible says, the kings of the earth will give their power unto this beast, this Antichrist.

And then you have after the war, generally because of all the devastation it goes on, then there is the black horse which is famine. There’s going to be a lot of food shortage upon the earth. People are going to go hungry, a lot of starving, and so it’s going to be a terrible time. The Bible says in the book of Matthew in chapter 24, it’s the worst part of time that the world has ever known. Never been a time like it before.

So this is that period of time that Christ was talking about. And so this is going to be a judgment. So when you have all the famine, then you have the pale horse, the gray horse, which is also a reference to death. And so you see somebody who’s dying, they turn pale. And then after all, they turn gray. So they sometimes refer to it as the gray horse. But this is what’s going to take place and it’s the opening of the book that has seven seals.

And those seven seals like runs the whole course of the book of Revelation. So whenever you read the sixth seal, it talks about how that there’s a place in heaven and the souls of them that are in heaven, and they say, Lord, how long will thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell upon the earth? And then he talks about how that this is the great day of the Lord, and people will cry out to the Lord and try to even hide themselves from the wrath and it says of the land, the wrath of the land.

Now in the middle of the tribulation period we know that Satan is going to be pouring out his wrath upon God’s people and God is going to be pouring out his wrath upon the devils. You talk about tit for tat, this is going to be wild. I’m glad I’m not going to be here. soul. When we look at this, the bowls of judgment. Now there’s trumpets, so we’ll get into that. Remember part of your homework assignment is to go through the book of Revelation, list all the sevens that you find in the book of Revelation.

That ought to be fun. A little search won’t hurt any. So you don’t have to have that for another week or so, but just so that you know, and when you get so much free time, you’ll know that you can spend your time, you know, playing around in the book of Revelation. Of course, you’ll have to read a lot of the book of Revelation. read a lot of the book of Revelation to find all these things, won’t you? But that’s what makes it so much fun.

But anyway, here we’re talking about in chapter 16 of the book of Revelation, God’s going to pour out His wrath upon the earth. And in doing so, He mentions these seven bowls. These are bowls of judgments like I was to bring a bowl of soup out here, yum yum. But you wouldn’t want to eat out of these bowls. These are bowls of judgment. and God pours him out on different parts of the earth for different reasons. And so these are seven bowls of judgment.

And get this, he says in chapter 16 the book of Revelation says, and the first went out, poured out his vial upon the earth and there fell a noisim and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast and upon them which worshiped his image. So we know this is what happens with the first one. Now the second is what we need to also look at. Now let me go back just a little bit more and make sure that I get this right.

This is going to be where they’re going to have these sores all over their body and he pours out a noise and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast. So this is going to be upon those who have received the mark of the beast. So it’s a punishment upon them. God’s going to judge the earth and He’s not going to just judge it upon people but also there’s other things. So when you look at the second angel, He says in the second angel poured out His val upon the sea.

So there’s different parts of the earth that God’s going to judge. God’s going to let everybody know, hey, I’m in charge, I have a right to judge, try and stop me. He’s prophesied this for almost 6,000 years, that God owns the earth. We believe that book in chapter 5 of Revelation could be the title deed to the earth. And so he’s going to show you that he’s in charge of whether it’s the sun, or the moon, or whether it’s the hailstones, or the heat that comes on the earth, or the trees, and he all belongs to the Lord.

And he says, and it became as the blood of a dead man and every living soul died in the sea. Now that’s the second angel. Now the third angel pours out his valop on the rivers and the fountains of waters, and they became blood. How did it like to be thirsty? Go get some water, turns to blood. You remember some of these things happened back in the days when Moses had gone down into Egypt and one of the reasons that they wind up letting the people go is because of all the plagues that was brought upon them.

And so here you have these same plagues pretty much just like they had before, God’s doing it again. Because what God did before, God can do it again And it’s not hard. Does anything too hard for the Lord? No. So anyway, this is the third angel. Now the fourth angel poured out his val upon the sun. Now all these bowls of judgment that God is pouring out, this is the wrath of God upon the people during the tribulation period.

And it could take three to four years of the tribulation period, pouring out all these bowls of judgment upon the earth. They don’t all happen exactly at the same time, but during a period of time. Because when he gets to the seventh bowl, seventh bowl is at the end of the tribulation period. So we know that all are not poured out exactly at that same period of time. So the Antichrist doesn’t set up his kingdom until the middle of the tribulation period and demand that everybody receive the mark of the beast.

So we know it has to be at least from the middle and it has to be to the end. So at least that’s a little yank eology maybe. But at the fourth thing to pour out his valop on the sun and as we have here in our notes, Al Gore was really upset because of global warming and passed legislation to stop the Lord from making it so hot. Now it’s going to be very hot. You talk about this earth going to get warm, it’s going to get warm.

And look what he says. And power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. Revelation 16, 9 says, and men were scorched with great heat and blaspheme the name of God which had power over these plagues, and they repented not to give him the glory. See, God still waits on people to give God the glory. Now, how much damage is done? People become hardened, and they still not get right, not believe. Now, on the fifth angel, he pours out his valop on the seat of the beast, and the seat of the beast or the throne is actually where he sets up, is going to be in Jerusalem.

He’s going to go into the temple, claim that He is God, and God is going to punish the Antichrist. Get what He says. And His kingdom was full of darkness, and they gnawed their tongue for pain. It’s going to be upon the beast and upon His kingdom. So wherever He rules, trouble is coming. So the people who believe is going to be peace and safety, then is Sutton destruction. Now, Now that’s explained in the book of 2 Thessalonians in chapter 5.

I should say first that’s the only chapter 5 when he talks about how that God has delivered us from the wrath to come. But for the people that are going to be upon this earth, there’s going to be this judgment. And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores and repented not of their deeds. All this nobody listens. Now in the 16th chapter, and I should say also in the 9th chapter, it talks about the River Euphrates that there’s angels there and that God’s going to dry up this valley and the make way for the kings of the east.

So there’s the River Euphrates and that happens to be in the hands of, oh well it starts up way up in Turkey, but you’re talking about the River Euphrates that’s coming down, there the Tigris and Euphrates going down through Babylon and Iraq, which is Iraq. And the Bible keeps talking about Iraq, Iraq, Iraq. Now if we don’t do something with Iraq, Iraq and Iran are going to have some kind of power doing the tribulation period. Remember, they’re also allies with Russia, and so you’ve got the world choosing sides.

It’s amazing. We’re living at the time when all these things are beginning to come to pass, it is exciting. The make way for the kings of the east and the kings of the east it says in chapter 9 of the book of Revelation, 200 million soldiers. Now that’s the whole heap of soldiers. Now I wonder where they’re coming from. Well, it’s a possibility that it could be China, but it might be further east than that. I don’t know. But wherever they are they’re coming and just believe that.

If God doesn’t give me all the definite little details, then I just leave out the little details. If he just says, you know, the major thing, I just, that’s all I talk about is the major things. But anyway, in Revelation chapter 16 and verse 17 down to verse 20, the seventh angel, all this is in that 16th chapter, kind of lays out how God is going to judge the people on the earth. The seventh angel poor out his val upon the ear or into the ear and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven from the throne saying it is done and there was a great earthquake.

Now this earthquake is going to be the greatest earthquake I guess of all time. Like there’s never been one like this one before. So mighty an earthquake and so great. The great city was divided into three parts and the cities of the nations fell. So you’re talking about cities of the nations fail. And then he says, every island fled away. The mountains were not found. You’re talking about a massive earth-shattering event. And this is going to take place right at the end of the tribulation period.

This is an awesome thing that’s going to take place. So that’s why you don’t need to put your confidence in this world like it’s going to last forever. Remember, we’re going to be taken out of here before the seven years starts. So that’s why I serve the Lord, why you came with what you got, where you are. Yes, sir. What’s the great city? What’s that great city? I can’t hear you. The great city. Where’s the great city? Yes, I knew you’d probably want to know what the great city is.

Well, there’s a good possibility that the city, now some people think that it could be New New York. I’ll just believe it to be Rome. And others may believe it might be Babylon actually over there in Ryan and Iraq area. And you don’t know how much time we got between this or some other city could rise upon the same. Now I have a little problem because I believe that the book of Daniel talks about 70 weeks are determined upon thy people, which is Israel, and thy holy city which would be Jerusalem.

So when the Antichrist takes over and goes into Jerusalem, then he sits up on the throne in Jerusalem, and he claimed that he is God in Jerusalem, and that’s where he plants his palace in the Holy City. So I believe that there’s a possibility Jerusalem could be made an international city in the last day so that they can have peace. So that everybody, all three major religions, which I don’t like, will be part of a peace treaty. So Jerusalem will be the Holy City for all the religions, and that’s why they will have a one world government and a one world religion, and all be because of Jerusalem.

So is that gonna be? And that’s why also in the book of Revelation, it talks about that great city, that great city, that great city, and then it says that great city, where also our Lord was crucified. Now, I believe he was crucified in Jerusalem. So there’s a good possibility that that great city could be, Jerusalem. And when you read the book of Zachariah chapter 13, it talks about it being divided into three parts. Exactly what you read right here, but I can’t definitely prove it.

That’s a little yank-yology. Remember, when it comes to the gospel, you got to be simple. Got to be clear. That’s definite salvation is always by grace. No other way. But when it comes to prophecy you got to be able to give and take a little bit. I don’t have all the pieces of the puzzle. I got some of them, but a few of them, like I said, I have to get a hammer and try to hammer them in there or try to get some scissors and cut them where they’ll fit.

But that’s forcing sometimes a position. And I don’t recommend that. It’s just that I haven’t got all the pieces together that I can say definitely positive this is it. So anyway, I hope that answers your question just a little bit. Now, also Revelation chapter 16 verse 21 says, and there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven. Now we’ve gone from the heat to the cold, out of heaven every stone went in the weight of a talent. Now some believe this could be in between 80, 100.

I’ve heard up to 120 pounds. Hail stones, I mean that’s a lot. What’s the biggest hail stone you’ve ever seen? I’ve seen some of the size of a baseball in Colorado. I mean that’s pretty good size. But when it hit it would just splatter it all over the place. But I mean a hellstone that even weighs five pounds or 10 pounds, that would be huge. But how much it weighs, it says the weight of a talent. And men blast him, God, because of the plague of the hell.

For the plague thereof was exceeding great. So all this may not have happened exactly on the same day by all 17. It says, and the angel went forth and did it, and then this angel went forth, and then this angel. And so these are angels of God. I remember we’re reading what John saw from a heavenly view. He saw what was behind the scenes and the angelic world and what they did. We see things happen, but we don’t see what’s causing it to happen.

So there’s another world being lived the same time ours has been lived. Like right now look around you can see yourself and you can see each other, but there might be a lot more in this room than what you know. You know, the devil might even be here. Now, who brought him? But I do believe that you may have a garden angel. I got four or five garden angels. They have to rotate because I just word them to death.

All right, we’ll move right along. The return of Christ. We know Christ is coming back again, coming back to the earth. Revelation 19, 11 says, and I saw heaven opened and be holy white horse and hey that settled in him what’s called faithful and true and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire and on his head were many crowns. Now his eyes were a flame of fire. Now you know when we read the book of Revelation chapter 1 that description is also used and it’s a reference to Jesus Christ remember and in chapter 1 and verse 7 and 8 you’re talking about how that, you know, he’s coming back and he was the lamb that was slain and he is the Almighty God, Jesus Christ.

He’s coming back. That’s why the book of Revelation is the book of Revelation. It is not the book of concealing. It’s now being revealed. Noah, I mean I should say Enoch preached about Christ coming with thousands of his saints in the book of Jude. So it’s interesting to know his eyes were a flame of fire and on his head were many crowns and he had a name written that no man knew but he himself. Now get this. And he was clothed with a vester dipped in blood and his name is called the Word of God.

Got a clue who it might be. Now he’s coming back here on a white horse. There’s another one that came on a white horse in chapter six. They’re not the same one. Many people put Jesus on that white horse in the book of Revelation chapter six, the first seal. That is not Christ, that’s the anti-Christ. This is Christ. And He’s coming back in power and great glory. This is not the rapture. The rapture took place when? Before the tribulation.

We’re talking now at the end of the tribulation. Christ comes back. Now, if you look down at the bottom of he’s also called King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Of all the kings, he’s the king. Of all the Lord, he’s the Lord. He is. And so that’s why it’s important. Now, what happens to the beast and the false prophet? When Christ comes back to the earth in power and great glory, then the Bible says he takes the beast and the false prophet.

The beast is the is the head of the political and the prophet is the head of the religious system. And so you have the head of two controlled by Satan. They are not Satan. The devil is not either one of these because these two are both cast into the lake of fire. Look where I have it. In the second part that I have in yellow, these both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. They are placed in here before the devil is cast into the bottomless pit, which this is the end of chapter 19, but in the beginning of chapter 20, the book of Revelation, The Bible says they took the devil that old Satan, and what did they do to him?

Well, they took care of him all right. Put him in chains. And I saw an angel come down from heaven, heaven, heaven, the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid whole on the dragon, that old serpent which is called the devil in Satan and bound him for how long? a thousand years. So that’s why doing the thousand year reign which is now going to be set up, the beast and the false prophet are in the lake of fire and the devil is in a bottomless pit in chains.

So the devil is not free during the thousand years upon the earth. And he says, and cast him into the bottomless pit and shut him up and set a seal upon him that he should deceived the nations no more. Notice the next part. Till the thousand years should be fulfilled. And after that, he must be loosed and a little seasoned. And that’s when he takes the last group of people that have not believed on the Lord and he will deceive them and they will be a rebellion against Jerusalem and fire come down and God takes care of that and it’s not mentioned much at all about that.

But that’s what’s going to take place. Now we know that one day the Lord is going to come, the Lord, there’s going to be a great white-thrown judgment. And so one day he’s going to show up, we are going to face God, eyeball to eyeball. We’re going to see the Lord. Just think we have lived our whole lives wondering whether there is a God and then those who do believe that there There is a God wonders, I wonder what it looks like, what is it going to be like to actually see God face to face?

Yes sir. Is that rebellion after that? Yeah, it happens right at the end of the 20th chapter, in the 20th chapter, that is called the battle of God and made God. Now there’s two battles of God and made God. One that we believe it, like I’m not going to get the beginning of the tribulation period, and then there’s another one. So I do believe myself personally that could be a move by Russian and Iran and Iraq against Israel that God takes care of and because of that they will make a peace treaty with Israel.

Because see there’s got to be something happened that caused them to make a treaty with Israel. And I believe this is one of the possibilities. I could be wrong on that but that’s just prophecy. But at the end of the 20th chapter of the book of Revelation it talks about Gog and Maygog which once again will be a A battle, but not much of a battle, it’s just one verse on it. Now here we have the lost of all the ages shall stand before the judge.

The lost of all the ages are going to be standing before God Almighty. And this is the judgment of God. Now the judgment of Christ has already taken place. We’re in heaven, we’re there. Now this is all these years later, a thousand and seven years later, the great white-grown judgment. And remember, there are those who believe that, well, I don’t need to trust Christ as Savior. I’m going to trust my works. Well, God’s going to judge every man according to his works.

So God keeps the books. He has all the evidence. Just think God has all the evidence He needs in in all the world and all he has to do and God has to because he’s got to prove that whatever he does, it is just when he condemns the unjust. And he has all the facts and every case concerning every individual and would you like to go into court trying to prove to God you never send because that’s what it’s going to have to bolt on to because if you didn’t, your work can’t pay for your sins, all God got to do is prove you did sin.

But what about all the people throughout their lifetime witnessed to them or gave them tracks and heard the gospel on the radio and saw that there was a God because God gave the evidence and they would not believe it. So this is going to be a great white throne judgment. The books are going to be open and that’s why we talk about the books, the books where the records are kept. This is, I believe, a judgment on the loss.

And if they’re going to be judged out of the book, they cannot be judged out of the book of life. Why? They’re not in the book of life. He says, everyone whose names are not found written in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire. Well, he’s not judging him out of that book because their names are not in that book, so it must be in the other book. So the loss, I believe, is the book of the living.

Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The book of life is the Lamb’s book of life. And I believe that’s the book where when you trust Christ as your Savior, your names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. This is why when they came back that was out by 2 by 2, about 70 of them, they came back rejoicing, they were they would cast out, he says, rejoices, your names are written in the Book of Life.

Because that’s the one thing God cannot blotch your name out of the Book of Life. Now you can be blotted out of the Book of the Living. Moses talked about to the Lord in Deuteronomy in chapter 32, but by being blotted out, but not the book of life. It might be numbered. But now, load it to sis. Revelation chapter 20 verse 12, he says, and I saw that Ed, small and great, stand before God in the books were open.

And another book was open, which is the book of life. And so he says, and the sea gave up the dead, which were in it. Debt and hell delivered up the dead, which were in them. And They were, get this, judged. Every man according to their works. You ever hear people think that you’ve got to do good works to go to heaven? Aren’t they going to be judged by their works? And so I don’t want to be judged by my works.

I’m glad that I just trust the Christ as my Savior and say by grace. But they’re going to be judged by their works, called God Must Be Just when He condemns the unjust when they are cast into hell.
