I’m going to tell you something that I did not know for a long time. I knew there was a universal teaching that goes to the extreme. There is no heaven, there is no hell, and we just all die. And you don’t know anything and that’s the end of it. Well that sounds good except I don’t know if it’s true or not because I had never died before. And I’d like to have some reasons for believing something. And then I have people who say that, well since Jesus Christ died on the cross and paid for all the sins of all the world, everybody saved.

Everybody’s already going to heaven. And the good news is that we get to go and tell them that they’re already saved. Therefore the purpose of Christianity is not to save anybody because they’re already saved, just to let them know they’re saved so that they can rejoice and then all we got to do is teach discipleship. They say, nobody believes that. Yeah, they do. Quite a few. It wasn’t too long ago. Somebody right here at Calvary Community Church said that they believed that nobody goes to hell.

Now, they were here in this ministry for about eight years that I know of. Come Every Sunday morning, heard all the messages, and then I finally understood they did not believe anybody went to hell. They believed eventually everybody goes to heaven. And they had a few reasons, a few verses. Now I wrote a little thing at the beginning of this. Everyone is already saved. Is that true or false? False. That’s false. Well, that’s because you’ve come to the Catholic Community Church and you’re so smart.

You’ve got the answer right. Now notice the first paragraph here. There’s always the danger of telling you what someone else believes that is an error. Because if I don’t present the truth sufficiently enough, you may also believe the error. Isn’t that a possibility? But there is also or about an era I’m sure you have heard or will hear, and it’s dangerous. And therefore, since I have never preached it before and I should have, I’m going to. In the next statement, if he paid for all the sins of the world, then the whole world is going to heaven, right?

Now I say, you know the answer. But there are people who believe that. There are people that answer a lot of the statements that I make on YouTube, and they will go from one video to the next, and they copy and paste, and they put it here and there and everywhere. The things that I don’t believe, hoping that somebody will believe what they say, but whenever they put something like that, there’s enough people who know what I believe, and they know what they believe, and they attack them.

I like that. But they’re not all on YouTube. There’s people that attend churches and they have a reason why they do what they do. You see, if I really believe that everybody’s going to heaven anyway, there’s no real urgency to tell anybody about how to go to heaven. Why? They’re already going? The only joy we would get and the joy they would have is they find not they’re going. So one of the things that I try to make sure is, do you You know for sure you’re going to heaven.

Now I’ll see you that question can be taken two ways. You’re going to heaven. Wouldn’t you like to know it? Or, how would you like to know for sure you’re going to heaven? Totally different. One can state you’re going, you just don’t know it. But there’s other people who don’t know where they’re going when they die and would like to know they can have eternal life. So the next statement is everyone going to heaven if they are, then this means that no one is going to hell.

If everybody is going to heaven then that means nobody’s going to hell, right? Now, thank God. If everybody is going to heaven, that means nobody is going to heaven. it can go to hell. That’s a true statement if it was the true statement. But the statement is not true. Now I want to give you some of the verses that some of these people use because you need to know how to defend because they can use these verses that we use to stay just the opposite and they can twist.

So these are verses to justify their false position. your notes. This is what our ministry should be about and what we should be commanding and teaching that God is the Savior of all men and that everyone has already been reconciled to God, a guy known as the name of Johnny. Now I’m not going to tell you his contact or how to reach him or anything like that, but this is what Johnny said. We’re going to look and see what Johnny has to say because Johnny represents a lot of people who believe what he believes.

I don’t believe So the verse that’s used here, for therefore we both labor and suffer reproach because we trust in the living God, get this, who is the Savior of all men. So if the Bible says he’s the Savior of all men, then all men must be saved. See, there’s a thinking, there’s a logic to it. Even with the woman at the well, when the men came back, surely this is in chapter 4 of John, the Savior of the world.

He’s the Savior of the world, so that the whole world saved. When Christ out on the cross did He pay for everybody’s sins, well, then everybody’s sins are paid. And if all their sins are paid, they’re all going to heaven. See how simple that is? So you’re not, we don’t have to witness. We’re not to support missions. We don’t have to even come to church to do anything right away. We’re all going to heaven anyway. Everybody’s going to heaven.

Isn’t that wonderful? But there’s air in what they’re teaching. And you need to understand that. Remember, if you believe the Bible, you can not Remember, if you believe the Bible, you cannot be afraid of anybody’s teaching, regardless of what they say, when you know truth, truth trumps air. Look at the next statement. These things command and teach. So, Johnny, look what he says about those two verses we just read. All men are saved. Believers that know they are saved can actually start enjoying salvation right now.

The reason we go into all the world to tell people is because they do not know they’re saved. The good news is telling them that they are saved. And there’s a little quote at the bottom of that little statement, heresy, pastor Arnold. What he says is not true, it is heresy. Everybody is not already saved. You’re only saved when you trust the Savior to save you. He does not save anyone or anybody against their will. Look at the next statement.

And all things are of God who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation. So we know according to the Bible, God has given to us the ministry of reconciliation. Now look at the next statement. To witness that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them and have committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Reconcile him the world unto himself. So when Christ went to the cross, He paid for all the sins of the whole world and is reconciled the whole world unto himself.

So there’s peace between God and the world and your sins have nothing to do with anything. Everybody’s good to go. Now that’s what Johnny says. Now look at the next statement. Johnny says, all men in the world are reconciled. And this is what he says. And I am proclaiming that everyone in the whole world has been reconciled to God. Praise the Lord. Think about it. The great commission is not to go into all the world and save as many as you can, it is to go out and make disciples, right?

And why would that be? I’ll tell you. It’s because God doesn’t need our help saving anyone because He is already saving everybody. Says Johnny. And Johnny had too many onions on his hamburgers. He is not telling the truth. But believe it or not, he put this on one of my great sermons, straightening out not only me, but everybody who goes to the channel to see and to hear, to understand. He’s going to help them to really understand. And then somebody went on there and says, thanks so much for explaining this.

I had a problem with this. So air, and somebody believes it. Now, for everyone that makes a comment, there could be a thousand people who believe that very same thing. It’s just like in your home. When you see one rat, there’s probably a hundred you don’t see. Now look at the next statement. Why give us the ministry, If the world is already reconciled, why give us the ministry of reconciliation? Ministry of reconciliation is this, there’s God and there’s man and there’s empathy between the two.

In other words, we’re not getting along. In other words, we’re sinners and God isn’t. We don’t have anything in common. So the Bible talks about Christ who went to the cross to pay for our sins to bring us to God and to be reconciled. It’s like a husband and a woman, you don’t have an knock-down drag-out fight, you know, and they’re at odds. And so a meteor comes in and try to bring the husband and the wife together as a mediator reconciled.

So there’s peace. So the reason God gave to us the ministry of reconciliation, because not everybody has been reconciled, they don’t know anything about what God has done for them. So we’re supposed to explain it to them and buy them accepting the peace offering that He made for our sins. We can have peace with God because of a peace offering and Christ was that peace offering. Now look at the next statement. And if any man hear my words and believe not I judge Him not.

For I came not to judge the world but to save the world. See, that’s what Jesus says. That’s a true quote, right out of the Bible. If any of you may hear my words and believe not, I judge him not, say, God’s nothing, judge you because you don’t believe because God came to save the world. And so therefore, when he died on the cross, paid for all the sins of the world, the world is saved. See how wonderful this is?

We don’t have to do anything now. You see how I could twist some people’s minds if I wanted to, if I wasn’t saying what’s wrong with some of these things. You see why Jehovah’s Witnesses come knocking on your door and they can talk you into just about anything when never you don’t know the truth. And why they feed me, I will swallow. And a lot of people are just swallowing. False teacher, why do you think there’s so many false teachers in this world?

How many different kinds of churches all claiming to believe the Bible and yet not really believe what the Bible says. Now I’ll show you in just a minute how all these things that what he’s saying is totally false. The only thing I ask you to do is not read ahead in my notes. You do you’re gonna get the shinkles. If you don’t get the shinkles you’ll get the shakes. Then I hope you get hiccups. Look at the next statement, for God hath concluded them all an unbelief.

That’s the true verse that he might have mercy upon all. See, everybody’s a sinner, everybody’s lost, Christ died and has mercy on all of them. So everybody’s saved now. So that’s why we don’t have to wait to see anymore. The only thing we’re doing is trying to help people to enjoy life, to teach them discipleship. That’s one of the reasons why you have so many of these churches that are teaching the Lordship Salvation. They don’t need to get saved.

They just need to make Christ the Lord and the Master of their life because you see it’s just about you serving now. Totally take your eyes off of what Christ said and what Christ did and all focus upon what you have to do. Now I wrote this right in the middle of your page. Second chance after death because see if you’re not a believer now it’s okay Because see, you’re going to get a second chance later. You didn’t know that.

See, that way it doesn’t matter whether you accept them, you reject them in this life. It’s okay because you see, after you die, you’ll stand at the judgment and then you’ll get a second chance. Whew, don’t that take a load off your mind? Cause you know that if you get a second chance, you will. Alright, look at the verse. For for this cause was the gospel priests also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but a live according to God in the Spirit.

So, Johnny says the gospel is also preached to the dead. So that means when you’re dead, later see God will preach the gospel to those that are dead. And there’s a verse that says it. You know, you can go to the Bible and find a verse that will say just about anything that you want and you can build your own doctrine off of it. The Bible does say, you just went out and hanged himself. Go and do that likewise.

What God do is do quickly. And I can, I just, those are three quotes in the Bible. I promise they are there. I can bring a whole sermon that, you just went on themself. Go and do that I like my s and what’s the river that I do is do quickly. Same with that was in the Bible. And you know that I just, I pinch those verses and make them say something that doesn’t really say. Just so I can say, God said, God said, don’t you dare say I said, and I didn’t say it.

Now look down here at the next little statement. I highlighted it. The gospel was preached to those who lived before the flood but are now dead. So he said, he preached the gospel to the dead. It was those who were alive before the flood and he preached the gospel to them because there was Enoch, yet we read about this morning in the bottom, Noah, the preacher of righteousness, and they preached the gospel before the flood. The Bible says so.

See, but that’s the explanation for the verse. But I can leave off that part saying, just take the one that I want and people do that. And you go back and you read that verse that you’re talking about right there And you’ll find out in 1 Peter, in chapter 4 and verse 6, of the couple verses before and afterwards, and he’s talking about the flood. Now, if Johnny was here, you know what I’d like to do? Slap his jaws.

And Christian love, because I would just love to do it. But I won’t because he might be bigger than me, but that’s why I got Jesse up on the platform. He’s my bodyguard. Well, I guess I want to go to my house. He says, you want to fight me buddy? He says, yeah, I said, this is me buddy. the next statement. I appreciate the laugh every once in a while. Kind of keeps me going here. Down at the bottom of the page, for as by one man’s disobedient, many were made sinners.

So by the obedience of one shop, many made righteous. So what does John have to say about that? The same amount that were made sinners will be made righteous. Now that’s not what it says, but he put that in there. The same amount that were made sinners will be made righteous. And it looks like, well, that’s what that verse says. But now look what I wrote in bold and in highlighted, all born of Adam are sinners and all those born of God are made righteous.

There’s two births. There’s Adam in the Old Testament and Christ is called the Adam in the New Testament, the New Adam. All those born in the world by Adam, we’re all sinners and those that are born in the God’s family are all made righteous. not that all of Adam’s people are all made right and that didn’t say that. That’s read into it. It’s explaining the value of the payment Christ made. He made a payment for all these many, though, who so ever believeth hath everlasting life.

You don’t have everlasting life because you were born into this world. You have everlasting life because he that believeth of me hath everlasting life. You don’t believe you don’t get it. Otherwise what does that verse mean? It has no meaning to it. If everybody saved, go into all the world and preach the gospel, didn’t take all the world and just try to disciple people. Now that’s mentioned, but first of all is that go into all the world and preach the gospel to what?

Every creature, every person, that preach the gospel. The gospel is not how you live your Christian life. The gospel is how you get saved. So we are to go into all the tell people how to get saved. And Johnny is wrong. He’s in error. Page two. Now you turn page two. The proof is in the pudding. They always say that. You know what I used to love? I loved my mom when she was baked. And she would have the chocolate.

She’s gonna spread all over that. And she generally will have some still left in the bowl. You know, that’s one of the sweetest things about a cake. Not the cake. It’s that chocolate pudding. And I’d get that big old bowl all the way around it. All the way down in the bottom of it. All the way down. If you got in my fingernail, I got that too. But that is so good. Well, now, you got to look at the end results.

What does it produce? Now, I’ll get this because this is so important. The rich man in the book of Luke, and I want you to take your Bible and look at it because this is so important, look there in the book of Luke chapter 16. Luke chapter 16 and look in verse 19. We’ll read this and then we’ll make a few comments about this portion of Scripture. And understand, this is Jesus telling the story. isn’t a parable. This is Jesus telling the story and He’s telling the truth.

And He’s talking about two people and they both died and where they went after they died. So in verse 19, there was a certain rich man which was clothed in purple and fine linen, ferrous sumptuously every day. I mean that’s what we want isn’t it? Isn’t that what you’re looking forward to? Rich, you want to be rich. There’s something every day, everything that you want. And then verse 20, and there was a certain beggar named Yankee, our Lazarus, which was laid at his gate full of sores, desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table.

Moreover, that was the name of the dog, moreover the dog, came in lictus sores, and it came to pass that the beggar died, was carried by the angels and neighbor, Abraham’s bosom. Now this is talking about a person who lived and died. And when cared by the angels into Abraham’s bosom, the rich man also died and he was buried. So his body is in the grave. But in verse 23, in hell he lifted up his eyes, been in torment and said Abraham far off and Lazarus in his bosom.

And he cried and says, Father Abraham come and dip the tip of thy finger into water and cool my tongue for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime. So we’re talking about after your lifetime here on earth. And according to Johnny, everybody goes to heaven. Well, if everybody goes to heaven, what was the rich man doing here. What was he doing here? Evidently all Johnny, but one, this man didn’t make it.

And look what he says, that thou in thy lifetime receiveth thy good things, likewise last of evil things, but now he is comforted and thou art torment, when is this happening? Before he died or after he died. It’s after he’s died. Beside all this between us and you there’s a great golf fix so that they which would pass from him to you cannot neither can they pass to us which that would come from them. In other words wherever he is he’s in hell he can’t go where the other ones are.

That’s how I read it and Jesus is the one that said it and Jesus is God. Now I don’t care how John he wants to take verses and twist them but you can’t outdo God. God’s word is true. And so then He makes this statement in verse 27, then He said, I pray thee therefore, Father, that thou would have sent Him to my Father’s house, for I have five brothers that He may testify to them lest they also come into this place of torment.

Oh, why worry about that? They’re already saved. They’re already saved. It’s amazing that the person in hell wants us to witness and the person and hell wants us to tell people how to have eternal life. Evidently, not everybody has every lasting life. Not everybody is saved. Johnny missed something somewhere along the line. So look there in your notes. Just to kind of narrow this whole narrative down, the rich man also died, was buried. In hell, he lift up his eye, been in torment.

He cried, have mercy on me, cool my tongue, for him tormented in this flame. Now he was in a literal place, not a state of mind, it’s a place. But Abraham said, son, remember that thou in life you were comforted. Now in death thou art tormented. He’s talking about a person after he’s died. And beside all of this, there’s a great goth fix. It means you cannot pass to us. In other words, once you die, you are Inhale, you cannot go to heaven.

Impossible. Look it else. He says, for I have five brethren. He may testify into them, lest they all fall into this place of torment. In other words, there’s something they need to hear to keep from going where he is. I wonder what that is. I thought everyone was saved from hell. Jesus says not true. If Jesus says that’s not true, that’s not true. Look at the next statement. Then shall he say unto them on the left hand, depart from ye cursed into everlasting fire.

Into what? Everlasting fire? That doesn’t sound like heaven to me. Prepare for the devil and his angels. Matthew 25, 41, evidently not everyone made it to heaven and not everybody was reconciled. Not everybody is saved. John, you got it wrong. but there’s a lot of people getting this whole thing wrong. And there are people who go to church all their life, and they listen to a preacher preach a sermon, and chances are the preacher has no clue where he’s going when he dies.

Because any preacher who teaches you can get saved today and lost to Mark doesn’t understand the Gospel. Or to think that you can get saved today and lost to Mark and get saved the next day doesn’t understand the Bible. Because see, if a man could get saved today and lost tomorrow, there ought to be at least one verse in the Bible, one story that says so. Find the verse in the Bible that says you can get saved and then get lost.

You can’t, there is no verse. Or if a man could get saved and lose a salvation and then get saved again, find the verse or a story about any man that that happened to. It’s not in the Bible. You think, well, well, if that’s what everybody believed, They ought to have some foundation for it. They ought to have some truth. They ought to be able to pull a verse out that says so they can’t do it. Why? It’s not in there.

God’s the author of his book and God is not the author of confusion. You see, I’m not confused. I know I have eternal life. I know I’m going to have one. I die. Another person who says, well, I think I’m going, I hope I’m going. I’m trying. You’re confused. Cause you don’t know if you are or you’re not. That sounds like confusion to me. If it’s confusion, God’s not the author of whatever you believe. Don’t that make sense? I’m not confused.

I’m gonna be losing a little bit up here. I know that sometimes the elevator don’t go all the way to the top. Somebody says, somebody’s home, but there’s no light on, but look at the next verse. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous and the life eternal. This verse shows there’s two groups, two destinies, two results. And so if that’s the case, and you know who tells us, this is Jesus speaking in Matthew in chapter 25.

In verse 41 and also in verse 46. Are you a new listener to Bibleline? Do you enjoy the teachings of Dr. Arnold?
