Scientists When$ we talk about grace, we’re talking about your saved by grace forever. forever and grace must be free and it must last forever. If it’s not free, it’s not grace, and if it doesn’t last forever, it’s not grace. Grace has to last forever. So there’s people that are putting, because you see, when you open up the suitcase, you’re finding out, what does this word mean? What can I take and make this verse say? So they begin to twist it, and they put other things in here and said, this is what grace is, and they’re adding to it and put something in, taking something out, and then they put that out on people and said, this is what grace is.

You say by grace, but, thenistani, you’re adding to the word, you’re making it say something it does not say. And so a lot of people do that. I could look at somebody and say, you know, boy, that’s really cool. Now my grandkids, they wouldn’t say cool, they would say, that’s cool. Oh, I thought, what are you saying? You mean cool? Say cool, cool. And it wasn’t cool. They’re saying a different word, but John is, it’s like a girl sees this boy, so he’s cool.

No, he’s warm. But see, you’re giving the word cool another name. Doesn’t mean that. And you’re gonna look at a girl and say, boy, she’s hot. Not what do you mean? You mean that mean the same thing you pose to mean? It doesn’t mean that she’s got a temperature. that word can mean something else. Well, see, there’s people who are stealing our language, the Christian language, and then putting it out as though this is what it is. Does it mean that’s what it is?

And people are not understanding the gospel. You’d be surprised how many people, and I’ve said this before, are you married? Yes, I am. Do you have a wife? No, I don’t know. Now, you know if you’re married, you ought to have a wife. But who in the world wants a mother-in-law without a wife? Anyway, another word I wanted to mention to you, and that is the word repentance. Repentance now means penance. It means you’ve got to stop doing something bad, turn from sin.

So if you have to turn from sin, that means stop being bad. And if you have to commit your life to Christ, that means start being good. So there’s people who have taken the word repent and given it a definition. And it means to stop being bad. Whatever you’re doing that’s wrong, you got to stop. And so that’s works for salvation. So they’re taking a word that doesn’t mean turn, but it means a change of mind. Change your mind and realize you cannot save yourself.

It’s not you stopping all these bad things so that you can be saved. It’s because see, once you trust the Christ of bask, God tells in his word. The Lord know of them that are his. And he says, he have this foundation. And it’s a sure foundation. And the Lord knows them that are His, but let every child of God, every one of His saints depart from iniquity. Who departs from iniquity? The saved man after he’s saved. One of the other verses, we often use it.

Romans chapter 12 verse one and two, I beseech you therefore, brother, and by the mercies of God that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable, and God would you reasonable that were to service. So when you present your body as a living sacrifice, that’s for service, then it’s not for salvation. So when people take that verse and say, you gotta commit your life to Christ, present your body to live in sacrifice for the Lord. If you add it for salvation, see that that’s totally a misapplication of scripture.

They’re taking something that’s simple and clear and changing and giving it another meaning. And they will think, well, I’m biblical. I’m not biblical. You’re mutilated in the Scriptures. And as the Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians in chapter 4, he says in verse 2, but have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth, commending ourselves through every man’s conscience and the sight of God, not mishandling the word of truth, not trying to take the script and make him say what we want them to say, but just believe what it already says.

There’s another word called finished. You remember where Jesus said in thing about it is finished. What did he say and what did he mean? Where is it found in the Bible? Anybody got a clue? What did he say and Monstrous? What did he mean by it? He said, it is finished. What was finished? The payment for sin is finished. The way for our salvation has been paid for. Now today the word finished doesn’t mean finished, it means it’s incomplete.

You see he did his part. Now you have to do your part. And so it’s 80% Christ, 20% man. Oh you don’t like that? Okay 90% 10% man. Oh, that’s 99% Christ, 1% man. It’s still just as bad, isn’t it? In other words, it’s got to be when it is finished, it’s 100% Christ. He paid it in full by himself, purged our sin by himself. He paidOHN forOverview take your Bible and turn to the book of Hebrews. See you and I are complete in Christ, we’re completing Him.

But in the book of Hebrews, He makes a statement in chapter 10, chapter 10 of Hebrews and notes what He says here in verse 10. Says, by the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Now, as in line with something that Gary had said the other night, just remember this, our new birth is born of God. It is a spiritual birth and you cannot see it. But look at all the things that happened to you the very moment you were saved that no lost man can see.

The day I trusted Christ as my Savior, could my wife see my salvation? No. Could she see my new birth? No. But did it happen? Yes. Could she see my justification? No. Could she see my sanctification? No. Could she see that I was a child of God now? She can’t… Nothing was visible. And yet all these things that happened to us, and there’s about 30 or 40 things that you can list. AllONDON these things that happened to us that nobody can see, but it happened, and it’s just as real, because you see, the things of God know of no men.

And what God has revealed, he says, I have not seen ear, have not heard, neither have entered to the heart of men. The things which God has prepared for them to love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by the Spirit Church of all things, the deep things of God. The Word of God, given to us by a special revelation, this whole Bible is deep. So when you teach the Bible, you’re teaching deep stuff. You’re teaching, John 3, 16 is as meaty as you can get.

When Christ made the statement, He says, I have meat to eat that you know not of. Now there’s something that satisfies more than anything else in the world. And He says, oh, you went down there And I got your McDonald hamburger. They saw somebody brought him some to eat. He says, I have food to eat that you know not of. My meat is to do the will of him that sent me. And that’s what he was all about, and to finish his work.

So there’s something that satisfies more than our natural food, more than having things, more than having money, more than having good health. And that is to please the Lord, to be able to live in such a way that you please God, and you had to put him first and all these things. So look what he says in verse 10, by the which well we are sanctified to the offering of the body of Jesus Christ. Once for all that means, whatever I needed, he supplied.

I was talking to a lady the other day up there in Georgia. And I says, where are you gluing to die? Jesus is I’m a Christian. I saw a God. I says, I’m, let’s pretend for a moment. I says, I’m God, okay? We’re just pretending I’m God. auder and you just died and you showed up at the purligates and I was asked you. Why should I let you come into my heaven? What are you going to tell me? She says, because I’ve been good and she meant everywhere.

I’ve been good. And I said, well, now I don’t think I’m going to let you in here because see, that’s not what it takes to get here. You have to be perfect. She said, nobody’s perfect. She says, now you’re getting it. That’s why you can’t get into my heaven. And I said, you got to be perfect to get in here. If I let you in my heaven like it is right now, I says, a little bit. And I said, remember these five words, Christ died for my sins.

The gospel, good news. I said, now what is the one thing that keeps us from going to heaven? A sense, because I’m not good enough. I’ve had people say, you mean I’m not good enough? Man, that’s exactly what I’m saying. You’re not. When Christ died on the cross, He went to pay for that which was keeping me out of heaven. And that was, He paid for my sins. The question is, how many of my sins did He pay for?Ge He paid for all of them.

Now if he paid for 99% of all my sins, but he didn’t pay for that 1% he didn’t help me none, because the wages of sin is dead. And I also mentioned I said, now let’s say Christ saves me up to the time I believe, and I’m saved now. But then afterwards I do something wrong. Uh-oh. Now what happens to me? If I sin after I’m saved? that most people enthus”},{” tradem##vationsenal He says, we’ve been in whaling in the nation of teeth and you’ve got to be serious and really mean business now.

And us as Christ died for everybody and all their sins. She says, are you trying to tell me that? Hitler could have been saved in go to heaven. I says if Hitler could not be saved in go to heaven, you don’t know that he would save you. I said, see, you’re categorizing, he is a lot worse than you are. Now, in our eyes, he made me. That with the Lord, if he requires perfection from me and perfection from him, which one of us makes it?

Neither one. But if God can’t save Hitler, how do you know he God can save you? Yeah, but what about Mattis? Bad things that he did. Okay, so if you do those bad sins after you’re saved, then that means that you’re not going to make it. It’s okay to do some of these little sins and you’ll be all right, right? Your sins are not as bad as his sins. So God lets you in if you commit little sins, but the big sins He won’t let you in.

I says understand this. Why did Christ down the cross pay for my sins? Why? He didn’t want me to do it. And the only thing he wanted me to do is when he came back from the dead is believe he did it for me. So if I believe it that he puts that payment to my account, now I’ve got a payment for I made my sins. all my sins. If I got a payment for all of my sins, what sin can condemn me to hell?

None. It’s the reason I can’t go to hell today and don’t have any sins to pay for. And the reason I can’t go to hell in the future, 100 years from now, I still don’t have any sins to pay for it. Why? Christ died for my sin. And people repeat that phrase and all the churches all over the world. And God, clearly what he’s concludion about. And yet they cannot say, I know I have eternal life. I know I’m going to have them when I die.

They cannot say I believe in eternal security. Once I’m saved, I am always saved. And the reason I’m always saved, because I really believe Christ died for all my sins. And if He did, then my sins are paid. And that’s one of the best things to know. So He finished the job. If I have to add to whatever He did, that means means he didn’t do enough. There isn’t anything to add to it. The other word is just to believe.

We know that he that believeth on him, oglu, happ, everlasting life. But today, most people think that word believe means tominist, it’s to submit, obey, to yield. And all of those are things that is worked for salvation. That’s not what the word means. But you see, they got a different suitcase and they opened up and said, well, this is what this word means. No, it doesn’t. It means to believe. Believe means believe. That’s all I have ever done to be saved.

Is I believe that I will say because I trusted Christ as my Savior because that’s all he told me to do is believe it. And I believe it. So if I believe it, then I have it. And the word justified. And most people of mind it means that you are guilty until proven righteous. You’re guilty until you’re proven righteous. Now we don’t believe that. We believe when God justifies you, it means it’s just like you have never sinned. And not only just as if you’ve never sinned, it’s just like you have always been righteous.

Like you’ve always been righteous in God’s eyes. Like it never happened. You never committed a sin. You have been declared righteous in the eyes of God and nobody can see that. You look at me and they say, I don’t think He looks all righteous. Doesn’t matter. You ought to see me through God’s eyes. God sees me as his child standing perfectly in Christ with no sinful nature. I am holy. I am blessed. I am, you name it, and I got it, and I’m a saint of God.

Now in this world, people don’t see you that way. Doesn’t change it. And I can’t go changing the meaning of words to make it say something that I wanted to say because I just can’t see how God can do that. That just doesn’t sound fair that he lets some of these wicked people go to heaven and he’s good people do the best they can and they got down and go to hell. Well, it doesn’t matter whether you see it or not, whether you believe or not, because it’s still the truth and that is the gospel.

Now I want you to take your Bible and turn it to the book, 2 Timothy 4, 2 Timothy and chapter 4. The 2nd Timothy chapter 4 and look in verse 8. One of these days we are going to finish our course. We’re going to finish that race that we are in. And so we’re here in 2nd Timothy chapter 4 and verse 8. Remember what you and I attempt to do now is because of the truth of the vision We believe that the Bible is the most important part of the Bible.

We believe that the Bible is the most important part of the Bible. We believe that the Bible is the most important part of the Bible. When I’m looking for the rapture at any time, that affects. When I know I’m going to understand that the judgment is the Christ and everybody’s going to give an account of himself, that affects how I live. When I think about the kingdom upon this earth and the ruling reign with Christ. And what that might mean.

I don’t know all the details of it, but I believe that my service to the Lord now will greatly affect what I get to do for the Lord later. And so because I cannot see it, but I believe it, I wanna go ahead and do what I should do while I can do it. And I think believe it, it affects my life now. So this verse is verse seven Paul made this statement, I have fought a good fight. I finished my course, I have kept the faith.

Henceforth, there’s laid up for me a crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day. And not to me only, but unto all them that love his appearing. In other words, this affected the Apostle Paul’s life. He said, I fought a good fight. He said, I’ve finished my course. I kept the faith and he knew he was going to die soon. And he knew that when he died, he’s going to face the Lord.

And he knew that because he loved the Lord and he had done what he was supposed to do with his life, there’s going to be a crown of righteousness where God is going to give me. But not to me only, but to everyone that lovesWOOD. You see, I would rather try to get people out of my interest in building big ministries. And building people, people that love the Lord, whether they want what God wants for them more than anything else in this world.

But you have to love the. I’m I’m I’m I’m I’m \- I I You put the”},” first and then everything else take care of itself. Otherwise you go through life like we said before. Push and roll up and that’s where your life goes. You get one in and it’s amazing how things in your life straight. You get the lord and nothing but a hold of the get. The most boldest spaghetti. Where’s the right road? It looks like spaghetti. But this is a very good verse.

And it’s that day. Canlyak till then? And if you believe that, see, and you’ve got the evidence that there is a God and that Christ did come and you believe it and you do have eternal life. And you can see the value of serving God, then serve Him now because you know it be worth later because there’s going to be a time, time, now looking first thessalonians chapter four. First thessalonians in chapter four. Just a couple pages to your left.

First thessalonians chapter four, we know we all do read these verses because, because they’re good for funerals, but hopefully nobody’s dying today. So I still think it could be applying. So this is a time of reunion. This was Thanksgiving Day, you know, a lot of people have to get together for their families. And it’s a great time. It really is. But one of these days, we’re gonna have the biggest family reunion you’ve ever seen in your life. I keep thinking about all the people that I went to school with at Fort Boba College.

Man, a lot of them are just passingorry off the scenes. And so we got maybe just a little bit more time and after a while, they might not be any alumni from Florida Bible College because we’re getting older. We’re dying off. But the thing is, whatever we’ve done for the Lord, I don’t believe that can ever be lost. You see, I believe that whenever you do something that God wants you to do, you have laid up treasure in heaven.

He says, the reason we’ll lay up treasure in heaven is because you can’t lose it. Nobody can steal it. Nobody can get it. If I lead a person to the Lord, You can’t undo it. It can’t be undone. Isn’t that nice to know? And I’ve seen after 30, 40, 50 years people that are still certain, Lord, because somewhere along the line I came across them and shared the gospel. They trust the Christ of Savior. And so we know that that time is coming.

We get to heaven and we’re going to see all those faces of those people. We’re going to know each other when we get to heaven. Well, I believe the scripture answers that. they’re in verse 13. But I would not have you to be ignorant brethren concerning them which are sleepÛÛ that’s the people who know the Lord and have passed away who have no hope. So he’s talking about the people that we do know and we’re weeping because of people that have seerbleacher that you sorrow not even as others who have no hope.

So he’s talking about the people that we do know and we’re weeping because of of already passed off the scene. Or if we believe that Jesus diedpointers again, even so them, also with sleeping, gee, bring with them. Must be them, must be the same people that they were when they were here on earth. It’s not somebody else, if it’s somebody else, then what do I care about meeting them? But it’s, like God told Abraham when he was dying, he says, and he was gathered unto his people.

He was gathered unto his people. Later, he was gathered unto his people. And that’s when he died . So they’re gathered unto their people. So it is our people and we can know our people and we’re gonna see our people and it’s gonna be a family reunion. But look what else he says. For this we send you by the word of the Lord that we which are alive and remain until they come to the Lord should not prevent or go before them which are asleep.

This is another word that’s changed meaning after all these years. For the Lord and South shout it send from heaven with a shout with the voice of the Archangel and with the Trump of God and the dead in Christ arise first. then we, which are alive and remain shall be cut up together with them. This is those that may have sorrow because they have died, but you’re going to see them again. There’s going to be this great family reunion that we’re going to have.

And then the Bible talks about us in the book of Revelation. And it says there in chapter 5, we are kings and priests and we will rule over the earth. And in chapter 20 it talks about, we will rule and reign with Christ for a thousand years. So you see, there is going to be a time of reward and a time of reunion and a time of reigning with Christ. And those are things that’s coming down the road. Should that affect my life now if I believe that is true?

Do what you can, why you can with what you have, where you are, and learn just to be be content with such things you have and knowing that God will take care and blessing all the rest of it. Don’t try to manipulate God or manipulate people and never try to misuse anybody. It will not be to your advantage. It won’t be to mine, it won’t be to yours. Like I’ve had people say, yeah, Yankee, I want you to use me.

I want you to use me. You don’t be to use me. Please use me. I use them to, I use them to, I just want you to use me. So sometimes you can’t win. But you want God to use you to accomplish what you’re supposed to for the Lord. Look up here. Oh, by the way, that lady I talked to, she did trust the Lord. Just thought I’d throw that out there for you. This hand represents you and me.

The wallet represents sin. We all have sin upon us. God loves us. Now, He hates our sin, but He loves us. And for us to pay for sin is eternal separation from God in a literal fire burning hell. That’s why we need to talk about hell because that makes people feel uncomfortable. You imagine how uncomfortable they’re going to be when they go to hell? Don’t you think it better to tell people the truth so they can escape the fires of hell?

So yes, we tell him God loves you. He hates your sin. But we’re the one that committed the sin and we have to pay for it, to be eternally separated from God. But God loves us and wants us to go to heaven. They go to heaven, you have to be perfect. Her righteous is God. None of us are perfect. None of us are righteous. We’ve all come short of God’s perfection. And God says that you cannot save yourself. The only way you can pay for this is not with good deeds.

It’s death. The way he just sends death. So we’re all condemned and no man can save himself. This hand represents Jesus Christ. He’s the Lord God in the flesh. He came into the world because he loves us. He hates our sin because our sin separates us from him. And the Bible, well, it says the only way we can get to heaven is we got to get rid of the sin. You’ll see, I can’t get to God and he can’t get to me.

So Jesus Christ who had no sin didn’t have to die. So He took all the sin of all the world, bought Himself and paid for it, came back from the dead. And God says if we would believe that He did it for us, He would put this payment to my account, and I get to go to heaven and know what He did. Think about that. He paid for all of our sins and all He wanted me to do is believe He did it for me.

See if He did it for me, then my sins see are paid. I don’t have any sins to pay for. The reason I can’t go to hell today, I don’t have any sins to pay for. The reason I can’t go to hell in the future, I don’t have any sins, people, he’d pay for how many of my sins? All of them. And some people are afraid to say that. I know I have eternal life, I know I’m going to heaven when I die.

And Christ died for all my sins. Why am I going to heaven because Christ paid for my sins? And most people don’t get it. And yet it’s the only answer there is. It’s the only reason anybody in this room is going to heaven because you believe that he paid for your sins. There is no other acceptable answer. There’s not a, you know, A, B, C, D, E, you get your choice, no, there’s only A. And you have to believe that he did it for you.

And when you believe it, he gives you eternal life. And you get to go to heaven whenever you die. That’s the best news in all the world. Let’s pray, shall we? It has bow nice clothes and no one looking around. If you are here tonight and you never trust a Christ as Savior, or if you’re watching by internet, remember there’s only one thing to do. And as beyond is between you and God, it’s said, Lord, I know I’m a sinner, just friend we all are.

And but I believe that Jesus Christ, when he died, I believe he died for me. He paid for my sins. And by me accepting that payment, then I know that I’ll go to heaven because I won’t have any sins to pay for him. Friend, God loves you that much. He loved you so much, he’d rather die than live without you. Would you trust him as your savior? And on the screen, if you’re watching by internet, says, yes, I will trust Christ as my savior.

We’d love to hear from you. It just lets us know that somebody trusted the Lord. Father, we thank you again for your blessings. Thank you for all you do for us. Lord, I’m thankful that you spared me. It could have been a lot worse. But I thank you for giving me a little bit longer to live, to serve you. And we pray for others that are still on the road and people that own vacations and pray for safety as they come back.

And we ask your blessings upon this church and all that we seek to do. And we want to do it for your honor, for your glory, Christ and we pray. Amen. Don’t miss out on all the fun.
