Look at the next statement down here. This puts him on the defense, plus gives you an opportunity to find what his particular problem might be. He will have to admit, if he is honest, that he cannot prove there is no God. By getting him to think, he may realize that he is just believing that God does not exist because somebody he admires believes that way. You can ask him how he arrived at his conclusion. Inductive or deductive? You see, you can get all the information and then come up with a conclusion based upon the evidence.

Or you can come up with a theory and then try to find a way to prove it. And they’ll make you think, well, they’ve done that. They haven’t done either one. That’s why evolution used to be called what? A theory. In other words, it could have. It may be, but there’s no facts. It’s not scientific. That’s even an issue that’s going on right now in the newspapers. I don’t know if y’all have seen that, but there’s an issue. But anyway, look at letter B.

You can explain your faith to be based upon evidence which show beyond any reasonable doubt that God does exist. And here’s a few arguments that I’ve used. And I would usually always like to cover these things like in a ranch meeting. a casual way of kids sitting there and you can say certain things. And with the kids, I hardly ever used any notes and things like that, because I already knew what I wanted to say and just to say it.

But get these certain points here. But can a Christian, a Christian live like an atheist, to where you live your life as though God is dead, that you really don’t know the Lord. And you don’t really trust the Lord. It’s like you can trust Christ to save you, have eternal life, you’re going to have him to die, but you really don’t know him. You don’t know him. And you don’t know what he’s like. I’d want to know what my heavenly Father is like.

I studied God’s Word enough. I want to know how he thinks. And the Bible is God’s love letter to his children. So as we study God’s love letter to his children, I learn a lot about God. But remember, God the Father is revealed in God the Son. So as you study about the Son, He reveals the Father. And you’ll learn a lot about God that way. Now the next little bullet point there under letter B, in a court of law, the jury does not have to see a crime committed.

But only be shown beyond any reasonable doubt that it was committed by the accused in order convict. I don’t have to see God just the evidence. Now I’ve mentioned this before in church. Everybody knows that when I lived in Colorado, 18 out of 20 years, I went elk cotton and looking for mule deer. Now mule deer was big and the deer, you know, in the south is like a little like a little done nice dog. I’m back on the bottom.

Big deer, mewed it big ears, and an elk is as big as a horse. And I enjoy getting in the mountains about 10 to 14 days every year for all of you and go hunting. I get up in those mountains all by myself. And once in a while I would bring my two boys go in sometime, one time I think, a couple of times maybe train to go with me. And Betty would also sometime I’d have her and I said, if your eyes peeled, and she says, if you tell me that one more time.

Keep your eyes peeled. Keep your eyes peeled. What does that mean? Keep looking for an elf or a deer. And so I would get up and if I could find some deer tracks or some signs where they had made a deposit, I could like to know is it hard? Is it warm? Is it soft? And tracks? If I saw the deer tracks or an elk track, I would know. I don’t see the elk. I don’t see the deer, but I see the evidence.

Now I can deny the evidence. There’s no animals ever been here. Well, I don’t try to get there. It just happened. No, I don’t think it just happened. No, I believe everything that I see, whether it’s the stars, the sun, the moon, the people, everything, tree, I didn’t make it. Did you make it? If you didn’t make it, did it make itself? Isn’t it amazing how ever trees, grass, people, animals all have within itself the power of reproduction, fruit bearing seeds.

In other words, everything reproduces after a concom. What if nothing had within it the power to reproduce? When it died, that was the end of that one. That’s the end of that one. The end of that one. All the people would be dead because we couldn’t reproduce. But it is an amazing. Everything can reproduce after its own kind. Do you know that’s actually in the Bible. They reproduce after their their own kind after their own kind. Well there’s animals, sea, crawling bugs, mosquitoes.

I don’t know why I know I ever took two mosquitoes on my art. I’ll swat one of them. Now I’m going to take care of that. Well that would have been a good decision to me. But anyway, down here at the bottom, one we call it the cosmological argument. That’s the same principle that we have today at learning that there’s a cause. And another scripture that we often talk about is in the book of Galatians in chapter C, where it says, we read what we what?

So there is a cause. And when it comes to this world, there is a cause and a faith. How did that pain get there? Cause I put it there. How did it get there? Cause I put it there. In life there is a cause and effect. I had a wreck. Why? Well cause I wasn’t watching. There’s a cause and effect. And that’s cosmological. It’s an argument that you can use. The world is here. Something caused it. So we often go back to what was the first cause.

If this was caused by this and this was caused by this and this was caused by this, well, if you go back to the very beginning, whatever was in the beginning could not have been created or done by the cause of a cause. Because if God was made by something, then whoever made Him, well who made Him and who made Him and who made Him. So that’s why God is the beginning. God has always been. God did not have a cause.

There was no reason, nothing that created God. That’s why in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. But people think they got you because you see that, who made God? You said God, who made God? God has to be self-sufficient. He has no beginning and he has no ending. It’s hard for me to believe that we will always be, but it’s just as difficult to think that we have always been or God has always been. I think that just blows my mind.

All right, look at page two. We call it the first mover. Nothing could be in motion now unless there was first a self-moving one. You and I need to learn from what God’s word has to say. God told us to pray, cause, he will answer. So if I do this, it can cause this. If I serve the Lord, it can cause this. So there is a cause and effect. But when you get to the place where you don’t think anything’s worth living for it, then you annihilate the will of God for your life or the purpose of God in your life because God doesn’t have a purpose for me.

I don’t have a reason to live. There’s no purpose for my life. I have no value. Look at yourself the way God sees you. Don’t look at yourself as though there is no God. You are God’s child. You are important. You do have value. And God can do things and work in your life. That’s why if I know I walk with God, it’s going to cause something. It’s going to cause me to have greater peace and love and joy and happiness.

I’m going to have better purpose in my life. I know God’s going to bless me. And I know that when I get to heaven, I’m going to have rewards that God’s going to give to me. So there’s a cause and effect. So when you understand it, it can help you in your Christian life. Now look at the next statement. It’s called teleological argument, the argument of design. In other words, here is my watch. Where did my watch come from?

You say, well, somebody made it. No, no, no, no, no, no. It made itself. Would you believe it made itself? You really believe it made itself? Well, you see, the other day I was riding on the highway and there’s this beautiful mansion. And you would think, well, somebody made that. No, no, no, it didn’t make itself. You see, the other day it was just plain piece of land there. I came driving by there and I saw dirt just kicking itself out out of the ground.

The next day I came driving by there and there was concrete rocks and then coming up and down the road and they jumped, not on top of each other and cement. No plan, no purpose. Next thing you know, there’s walls going up and there was doors and there’s windows and there’s a roof. And you would think, there’s a design to this. So a design must mean, and that’s why you’ll find in the book of Hebrews, chapter three, and where it makes the statement, every house is built by some man.

Somebody did that. And so there’s evidence, so you and I are supposed to know that there is a evidence of a God because there is a design. When you study about the earth itself, look what we have here. The universe has an order and design to it that indicates the fact that there is a God, one who designed it all. If the earth rotated any slower than 24 hours per cycle, approximately 1,000 miles an hour. One side would have its vegetation burned while the other side would be freezing.

If the earth was any larger, there would be too much free oxygen, hydrogen in the air. If smaller, we would not have sufficient atmosphere for life. If the moon were closer, ties would increase, cause and floods in continual hurricanes and erosion. Why is it that ice rises through the top and doesn’t fall to the bottom? Eventually freezing and all water and killing all fish. There’s a lot of things in this world scientifically, we know, that if it wasn’t the way it is, it couldn’t exist.

If life was any different upon this planet, if it was bigger, be too much weight, probably throwing it off in space. If it was a smaller size than way less, it might be sucked right into the sun. We’re in a perfect place to keep perfect time just like a Swiss watch. No, this was made, and if evolution was true, Let’s take this watch, put all the pieces on the top of the table. How long will we have to watch before these people will come together all by itself, without any plan, without any design, without any outside force, and watch all of it happen?

How long will we have to wait? Because of the second law of thermodynamics, the atmosphere itself will take its total upon every one of those pieces, and it’s going to destroy it. It corrupts, goes downhill, decays. The world isn’t getting better and better and better and better and better and it gets worse and worse and worse and worse and worse and worse. So we have a little argument called the anthropological argument. Now this one is kind of good because it deals with man and the difference that man is from animals.

And that’s where did the moral and intellectual call it, where did it come from? If there is no God, where did the idea of God come from? If evolution was true, how come man worships a God if there is no God to worship? Where did he get the idea? Can things that are material give birth to that which is spiritual? Where did intellect come from? Where did the idea come from of morality? a team up with what’s right and what’s wrong.

Who’s to say what’s right and wrong? To see if you believe in evolution, you’ll have to believe that. If you believe in evolution, you’ll have to be racist. Let me tell you that one more time. If you believe in evolution, you have to be a racist because you’ll have to believe that one race got here before the other one. And one race is better than the other way. How did that happen? That everybody learned everything exactly the same way if evolution is true?

Evolution isn’t true. In the beginning, God so loved the world that He made everything and everybody come from two people. And one race is not in better than another race. White people are not better than black people or black people than yellow people or green people or chartreuse or pinstripe or polka dot. Nobody’s any better than anybody else. We’re all sinners and we all have a sense of nature. But God so loved the world, loves us all. And when He tells us as children of God, we’re supposed to love everybody.

I think if you’re black, you’ll be pride, you’re black. If you’re white, be pride, you’re white. Be pride, whatever you are. Because why should you complain about whatever God made you. Whatever God allowed you to be, that’s what you are. That was no choice of yours or mine. And so we should be thankful for whatever it is. But if we keep on, everybody keep in and marry, everybody’s gonna be maybe like cappuccino. So later, everybody’s gonna be cappuccino. No, I like cappuccino.

I really like cappuccino. I was told this, if you had 10 chocolate e-clairs, Freshly bait, put them right in front of you. You know how to keep them fresh, eat them all at one time. Don’t that make sense? Never save chocolatey clairs. You gonna try that? That’ll anyway. Now, there’s moral awareness and God awareness. How does man, how did he develop this idea of right and wrong? Because man does have a sense of justice, doesn’t he? Have you ever had somebody do something to you and you said, that’s not right?

That’s not fair. I remember when my daddy used to walk me and didn’t walk my sister and my wife’s sister was the one that got me to do the bad. I think, sure, I got something. Well, it didn’t work out of way. But we have an uncanny sense of justice. That’s why we like to have laws. Now get this, if we came from the animals, How come the dogs don’t get the weather and have some legislation and pass some laws about what the dogs can’t do?

Have you ever seen dog gather together in a prayer meeting? Everybody have it and pray all the dogs are praying. Well, why not? I mean, where did we get the idea? How did it come to us? So Anyway, you get the point supernatural revelation supernatural revelation God making himself known He first did it through the living word Jesus Christ. And we have supernatural revelation in that we have the written word. Now you’ve heard me go through the book of Romans and I’ll often mention about the creation, the world, and the revelation, his word, and so God’s given us the word and the world and they both have to agree because God is behind both.

He created both. And so that’s why when you want to know the Word of God, you’ll study about the Word, God. In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and we beheld His glory. So those are some mighty important things to keep in mind. Now, are you hearing the Word of God? Here you are, you’re God’s child, God has given to us supernatural revelation. Now these are things that we use to try to help a atheist to realize that there is a God because all these arguments are true and good arguments.

But now that you trust a Christ as your Savior, you’d be surprised how many of God’s children will never read that supernatural revelation of God, which is God’s Word. and Christians can live their whole lives, not reading, not studying, not growing. And they can waste a lot of their life. They can live their lives like an atheist or Christians that don’t pray. Here’s God in heaven who’s looking down over the banners of heaven and he wants to bless his children and he wants to meet your needs and answer all your prayer requests and you don’t have any.

Most people use God as the last resort. That’s where this man met his wife. She was looking to discount her for last resorts to go to a trip, things like that, you know. Don’t use God as last resort. Use them as first resort. You’ve got problems, whatever it might be. Go to the Lord. Talk to the Lord. And you’d be surprised. God wants to cause something, but what he does is because you prayed. So there’s a cause and effect.

And sometimes you want this, but you won’t do what will cause it. You want God’s blessings upon your life, but you don’t want to discipline your life enough to get that blessing. So you’ve got to go back. Don’t live like an atheist. Don’t live like a skeptic. Don’t live like an agnostic. can you know the will of God for your life? It’s revealed in the Word of God. So God has given us the Word, we’re supposed to read and study it, and whenever, remember this, if you’ll feed your faith, your doubts will starve to death.

But if you feed your doubts, your faith will starve to death. There’s a statement that I had in the flyleaf of my Bible, and my daughter even mentions it even to this day. And it was simple. I don’t know where any world it came from. I think came from Betty’s dad that he had it down for This book will keep you from sin or sin will keep you from this book That’s a good statement This book will keep you from sin That’s why he says They light thyself and the Lord and he shall give the desires of your heart and he also talks about the things concerning the Word of God or the will of God.

And how all shall a young man cleanse his way by taking heed according to thy word. And the other verse there in 119 Psalm, hide thy word and thine heart that thy might not what sin against thee. In other words, the Word of God can help you to leave a holy life, a Godly life. But if you stay away from it, you’re going to get cold, become indifferent, the flesh will take over, and you’ll be surprised at kind of the quality of your life what it could have been and the way it will be.

If you don’t feed your faith, you will walk in the flesh. And it’ll be cause you made wrong choices, cause and effect. But always remember, make right decisions, studying the word of God and doing what God wants you to do. All right? The last paragraph down here, I wrote on the bottom up page, is in a shame that many Christians cannot understand God. Now I know it’s difficult, a man and woman can get married and be married 60 years and I just don’t understand her.

But believe it or not, you can understand God. Not maybe everything about God, but God reveals the way he is in the word of God. So you can know a lot about the character of God, what he will do, what he won’t do, understand how he loves you, how he’s just and righteous and all those things. But look at the last paragraph, bottom of the paper. Many people claim to be an atheist because they say they cannot understand God.

You cannot equate non-comprehension with non-existence, illustration that would be like saying that my wife does not exist because I cannot understand her at times. Do you understand your husband all the time? Well, of course I can see through us Krugs, that’s because we’re so transparent. You can see through us. There’s a joke there, but I won’t forget it. God is not afraid of man’s questions. Man and God do not think on the same plane. God’s thoughts are above man’s.

The things of God appear as foolishness to the natural or unsaved man. Some things will not be understood. As that verse says in Deuteronomy 29, the secret things belong to the Son to the Lord. But God has revealed an awful lot of things about him. Don’t you wanna know a little bit about your heavenly Father? Now, I don’t know much about my earthly Father.

Our years together were not all that glamorous. Most of mine would happen by the time I was seven years old. Then I saw my dad about twice after that, and he died when I was 13. So I never was really taught, trained a lot by my earthly dad. So I’ve lived most of my life without a father. And I saw my mother every once in a while when I was growing up, mainly on a Saturday or Sunday. But I was always gone.

Back in those days. We stayed out as late at the night as we wanted to. We walked the streets, but then it was mainly safe. I hitchhiked everywhere I wanted to go. So things have changed. Anyway, look up here. Letting this hand represent you and me. And this wallet represents sin. We all have sin upon us. Now God, He loves us. He hates our sin, but He loves us. And for us to pay for sin, the way to sin is death, is eternal separation from God in hell.

But God loves us who wants us to go to heaven and go to heaven, we have to be perfect as righteous as God. And none of us are perfect. None of us are righteous. And God says you cannot save yourself. You cannot work your way to heaven. And all your good deeds will never pay for the sin. And that’s why man cannot save himself. It is impossible. You’re not saved by what you do. This hand represents Jesus Christ. He’s the Lord God in the flesh.

Came into this world because he loves us. He hates our sins because he our sins separate us from the Lord. So Jesus Christ who had no sin did not have to die. But because he loved us, he took our sins and died to pay for our debt. He came back from the dead and said, The only thing we had to do is believe He did it for us. And when we believe it, that very moment we believe that, God says, He that believeth on me, hat, present tense, hat right now, what?

Everlasting life. And if it’s everlasting life, it lasts forever. If it lasts forever and all your sins are paid, that’s the only way you can know that you’re going to heaven because Christ paid for my sins. So I don’t have any sins to pay for. That’s why I’m going to heaven today. And that’s why I’m going to have in the future, because I still don’t have any sense to pay for it. The penalty of my sin has been paid.

It’s so hard for people to see that. You ought to read some of those comments that people make by seemingly intellectual people that really know the Bible. They can quote verses all over the place, and they can’t understand that simplicity. Christ died from me. He paid for my sin and gave me turn light as a gift. I serve the Lord just because I say, I don’t serve the Lord to prove that I’m saved. They don’t mind if I serve the Lord.

I live probably as righteous as any of them that would say that. But they’re doing it because, well, you’re supposed to do it, and you must do it. I do it because I want to. But mine can’t be real because I didn’t do it because I must do it. They don’t make any sense. Sometimes I think in as illogical as Spock would say, it’s illogical. Maybe they got pointed ears and I don’t even know it. Let’s pray, shall we?

But the head’s about nice clothes, no one looking around. If you have never trusted Christ as your Savior, I pray that you would. If you’re watching by internet tonight, the only thing you have to do to go to heaven is believe that what Christ did, He did it for you because He loves you that much. And if you trust Him as your Savior, He’ll give you eternal life and you can know that you’re going to heaven when you die.

And you can know it right now. You don’t have to know it 10 weeks from now or 10 months from now or 10 years, you know it right now. and it’ll never change. God loves you that much. Trust Him. Father, we thank You again for Your blessings. Thank You for all You do for us. And we ask Your blessings upon this service tonight and each person who listens by Him, way at the internet. We also pray, Lord, to give us a good Sunday because there’s many things to be done.

And for the voting, that we pray that You will be done there. And we just thank You for all You have done for us. we pray that you are going to be done. In Christ name we pray, amen.
