And when I passed by in verse six, I saw the included in dinoan blood. I said unto thee, when thou wuss in thy blood, live. Yea, I said unto thee, when thou wuss in thy blood, live. I have caused thee to multiply as the butt of the field. Thou hast increased in wax and great. And thou art come to excellent ornaments and thy breast or fashion. And thy hair is grown, whereas thou was naked. And bear, in other words, you were a little child.

Now you’ve grown into a full-blown woman. You’re a woman, you’re a beautiful woman. And when I passed by the inversate and looked upon thee, behold thy time was the time of love. And I spread my skirt over thee and covered thy neckiness. Yay, I swear unto thee and entered into a covenant with thee, said the Lord of God, and thou became mine. Then washed thy thee with water. Yay, I thoroughly washed away thy blood from thee. I had known thee with oil.

I clothed thee with brodery work and shot thee with badger skin. And I girded thee about with fine linen. I covered thee with silk. In other words, you’re good out there again. You see all these things. Now, these things you’re reading right here is exactly what you’ll read when you read the 18th chapter of the book of Revelation. How that she said, look what I’ve got. And she went a whoring after other gods. a nation depends upon another nation they have forgotten their God.

See, America is supposed to be one nation under God, not one nation under the United Nations, not one nation under China, which is where we’re headed, because we’re borrowing and you are a servant to the lender. and they become the head and we become the tail. But he goes down through here and he talks about in verse 13, Dao was decked with gold and silver. The arraignment was a fine-linned silver, broadened work, without his fine flour and honey and oil, and Dao was exceeding beautiful and Dao is prospened into a kingdom.

God took them and raised them up and brought them into their own land. The establish them as a nation, and she was a beautiful woman. She was the wife of Jehovah. The wife of Jehovah. Well, verse 26, thy has also committed fornication with the Egyptians, thy neighbors. Great inflation hath increased thy hoardom to provoke me to anger. Then he says up there in verse 28, Thou hast played the whore also with the Assyrians, because thou hast a was insatiable appetite, yet you could not be satisfied.

Remember whenever I mentioned some of these nations, I always start off with the no first of all you go back to the Egyptians and then the Assyrians and then into the Babylonians, the Medians, the Persians, the Alexander Empire, the Greek Empire, the Roman Empire and then down to where we are. But it’s laid out in the scriptures, and I believe it’s for a reason. Book number 32. He said, but as a wife that committed adultery, which take of strangers instead of her husband, they give gifts to all whores, but thou give us thy gifts to all thy lovers, and howress them that they may come unto thee on every side for thy hoardom.

You see, Israel has one God. And that one God is Jehovah. Israel was never to look to any other God, any other nation. Israel would have been the supreme premier nation on the face of this earth. If Israel had have been a good wife. But she went on a horn after other nations. She wanted to be like other nations. She accepted other gods and all the wickedness that took place. And so there was a price to pay. You see that in verse 36, well, excuse me, verse 35, wherefore O harlot, hear the word of the Lord.

So whenever we go to the 17th chapter and it talks about this woman who was a great whore, who siteth upon many waters because she’s gone a horn after other nations, the only reason that there is this peace treaty made is because Israel has forgotten her God. should look to Jehovah and not have to make a peace treaty with anybody and trust God to deliver them, but Israel is not going to do that. So you have all these nations who come together and she will ride the beast and they will support her all temporarily.

These are her lovers. They love her because of what they’re going to get from her. They really don’t care about her. You ever seen people do that in real life? They don’t care about them, they just do that. So in verse 38, I will judge thee as women that break wedlock. See the first part of verse 37, you got to see that. Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers with whom thou hast taken place in and all them that thou hast loved and all them that thou hast hated.

I will even gather them round about against thee and will discover thy nakedness unto them and they shall see all thy nakedness.” So this is what God’s going to do, but God says that when He does this, the last part of verse 39 says, they shall strip thee also of thy clothes and shall take thy fair jewels and leave thee naked and there. So this is what’s coming, but now look there in Ezekiel 16 and just look over very quickly in verse 48.

Because you see as Jerusalem goes, so did Samaria go and it’s just like Sodom and Gomorrah and he talked to them of though they are like sisters Sodom and Gomorrah. Verse 48 and as I live saith the Lord God Sodom thy sister have not done. She know her daughters as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters. Behold this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom pride, fullness of bread, abundance of of idleness was in her and in her daughter.

Neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and the needy. And they were haughty and committed abominations before me. Therefore I took them away as I saw good. So this is what God is going to do. Now, in verse 59 of that chapter talks about a covenant, but I don’t want to take time to look at that at this point. Go back now to the book of Revelation chapter 17. Revelation chapter 17. There’s no doubt that in chapter 17, this woman, whoever she is, is a great whore.

She has committed a lot of spiritual adultery. And that she has worshiped other gods and worshiped other nations and submitted herself. See, when one nation submits herself to another nation, it’s fornication. It’s adultery. Whenever they are dependent upon that, which they submitted themselves to him. God never meant for Israel to submit themselves to anyone or anybody. So here in Revelation in chapter 18, looking verse 2, and he cried mightily with a strong voice saying, Babylon, the greatest fallen has fallen.

Now is it not only the nation of Israel of its fallen, but the world empire that’s also over the nation of Israel in Jerusalem. And because they rule from Jerusalem, they are the head of this last world government. And therefore you have the fall of the nation of Israel, but also the fall of the nation of the kingdoms, the beast itself. God is going to judge the beast because the beast judged the woman. You see there in Revelation chapter 17 just to look at it very quickly.

When he makes the statement in verse 12, and the ten horns which thou sought are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet but receive power as kings win the hour with the beast. And these have one mind shall give their power and strength unto this beast. And then down there in verse 16, look what this beast does to this woman. And the ten horns were sawed upon the beast. These y’all hate the whore shall make her desolate and naked and shall eat her flesh and burn her with fire.

That’s exactly what we just read just a minute ago in the book of Jeremiah. I mean, true? Now, whether or not that refers to this, but if it’s not them, it’s got to happen again. If it’s not talking about Jerusalem here, it’s got to talk about Jerusalem somewhere because the same thing happens to Jerusalem. And so, chapter 18. And you’ll notice in verse 3 now, for all nations have drunk of the wind of the wrath of her fornication. Kings of the earth have committed for nication with her.

Merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. It’s not just that you project into the future and see whether or not does Israel or Jerusalem meet the criteria that’s mentioned here, but this This is a judgment upon the way Israel was, more so than what I believe Israel will be. You see, Israel had already been blessed by God. They already had this beautiful Solomon’s temple. They were as rich as any nation could ever be.

People came from all over the world because of the riches of Israel. And of course, of Sullivan messed up. The kingdom was divided. Ten nations to the north, to the south. The ten nations north, Israel, capital in Samaria. Two nations south, Judean Benjamin, capital in Jerusalem. So you have the Israelites and the Jews, but there are still twelve tribes. Syria came in and took the northern tribes, and then Babylon came in and took the southern and so God has fulfilled his word just like he said that he would do.

Now, is it possible that all of us could be referring? Not just to the way Israel will be, but the way God saw his wife, the way he saw her in her youth, when he saw her beauty. And he says, this is what’s cost you, this is what it costs you. But the judgment is still there, the judgment is still coming. I mean, I’ll be right. I don’t have to be right every time. This one’s in a while. Verse four, and I heard another voice from heaven saying, come out of her by people, that you be not partakers of her sin, that you receive not other plagues.

For her sins have reached into heaven, and God had to remember her iniquities. So if God had to remember it, and it has to be something that’s recorded in the Old Testament, and God remembered. And see, there’s some of these cities and nations today in religion, they didn’t exist back then. They weren’t part of this judgment that God had already planned this judgment before the two thousand years that we have of the church age. So I don’t take anything in the church age as part of the fulfillment of Scripture because it wasn’t recorded.

Old Testament, New Testament. So look what he says there in verse 7. How much he hath glorified her some lived religiously so much torment and sorrow give her. For she said in her heart, I said a queen. I’m no widow and shall see no sorrow. Therefore, shall her plagues come in one day, death and mourning and famine. She shall be utterly burned with fire, but God is the Lord God who judges her. So if God’s going to judge this woman, and as you said to the Old Testament, the 70 weeks to Daniel, what people do you think he’s going to judge?

What woman do you think he’s talking about? Some other strange woman we know nothing about, never heard about, but came into being because of the church age. I have questions and problems with that. I’m not saying that I’m totally right. I’m just saying that I don’t have all the answers to put it on to somebody else. I will still just rather just put it back to where I think it goes that’s on the nation of Israel. Now, there’s a lot of scriptures mentioned down through here that we will not have time, but if you read some of these, You’ll find that a lot of these things are mentioned in the Old Testament, in the book of Jeremiah, in the book of Isaiah, and talk about some of these same things that’s going to take place.

How they got it made a promise. And I could say that this is a chapter of no more, no more, no more, no more, no more, no more, no more, no more, no more. No more what? We’ll see it here in verse 14. The fruits that I sold lusted after are departed from thee. All things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee. Thou shalt find them. No more at all. Now, whatever God’s going to do the Jerusalem, remember there’s going to be a new heavens and a new earth.

They’re going to be a new Jerusalem, a new holy city, a new temple that’s going to be built. How God’s going to do all this and work it all out? I don’t know. But there’s always that possibility that Babylon could be Babylon. And when he talks about Babylon, the cradle of civilization, The place where Nimrod was and how that the religions of the world have sprung so wickedly, and whether or not in the last days they go back because remember one of the chief things of Nimrod was to keep everybody together so they could have a one-world government and a one-world religion.

That was back at the Tower of Babel. And so what did God do to solve that problem? He just gave everybody different languages and scattered them on the face of the earth, and that kind of took care of the one world religion and one world government, and God had all these different nations, now with different languages. Have you ever thought about languages, how difficult it is to learn a language? What if you had to develop the language? Where do you think languages came from?

Do you think those nations developed those languages on their own? They made up their own. They learned how to talk. Or is it possible that God gave them various languages? Just take the nation of Europe and look at all the places. You know, you got Spain. You got the French. You got English. You got German. All those languages right there. And they had to form nations because everybody spoke the same language. Do you think that some blah, blah, blah without a brain that developed the language?

We’re going to learn how to talk. Oh, groovy. We’re going to learn how to talk. And yet, languages are so delicate in the language of Greek or Hebrew and Arabic, all these languages, there’s thousands of languages, and they just did it themselves. I believe that back there, God is the one that gave them languages. And God is the one who set them out. And God is the one who divided the earth. And it says in chapter 10 of the book of Genesis in Days of P.

Lake, God divided the land, God had divided the earth and moved them all around. There they are. I believe God’s way and God’s word is better than me trying to guess of how they could have done something or how they could have got to the far corners of the earth. I think they got there before God split up the earth. Is that how simple that was? Isn’t that simple? That’s so simple. But it says this is coming and look there in verse 17.

In one hour, so great riches has come to none. Shipmasters and all the company and ships and sailors, as many as trade by sea, stood afar off. You see, when you read verse nine and you read over there, that verse that we just read, 17th. But you know, you’re talking about an economic collapse. You’re talking about the fall of the stock market. When all the merchants of the world are moaning and groaning because everything’s gone. So evidently, there’s coming a time when they’re going to put all their hopes and dreams into this one world government.

And they’re going to be in charge of all the stock markets and all that, you know, and it’s all going to crash. all coming down in one hour. Boom, it’s all over with. And whoever the city is, on some table, it could be New York. Okay, well, let’s say it’s New York. Because that’s where you have a lot of the stop markets and the firms and things like that. And you’re out there in the ships, and you can see all that.

And wouldn’t it be something? They could see the smoke coming up from the destruction of America. Or the destruction of Iraq, totally. unless he rebuild Babylon. See, there’s always these other things that could happen and could be possibilities. But I have a tendency to always restrain myself and go back to something that doesn’t seem like it can be that. Maybe he’s just talking about Israel and this last world government. Just a good possibility. Because look what he says down here.

There’s going to be a great earthquake also. You see there in verse 21, oh, excuse me, verse 20, who rejoiced over her, thou heavens and ye holy apostles and prophets, for God hath avenged you on earth. So this has to be somebody that did wrong to the nation of Israel and killed the prophets. And isn’t that what was read while ago when Jesus says you have killed the the prophets and the apostles. From the blood of Abel to the blood of Zachariah, he says, you’ve done all of this and upon you is going to come all of this blood and you’re going to be judged for it.

And so he says, a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, cast it into the seaside, thus with violent shelf and here’s that phrase, that great city Babylon be thrown down and shall be found no more at all. And you’ll see that great city is mentioned in verse 10. It’s mentioned in verse 18. It’s mentioned in verse 19. It’s mentioned in verse 18 of chapter 17. That great city, that great city, whoever that great city might be.

Look there in chapter 11. And here in chapter 11, as a review, we have the nation of Israel, who makes a peace treaty with the Antichrist and for three and a half years they have the protection of the first doing a half years and then it’s under Gentile rule the last three and a half years for 42 months see there in verse two. Of course which is without the temple Levi to measure it not going to give it into the Gentiles the holy city they shall trade it 40 in two months doing a half year in verse three the two witnesses three and a half years and then when you go down there to verse seven when these guys are killed and when they have finished their testimony, the beast that ascended out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them and shall overcome them and

kill them and their dead bodies shall lie in the streets of Rome. I mean the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt which we just read about. We’re also what? Our Lord was crucified. Now I wonder if that great city and where our Lord was crucified is the same one. And whenever you read it and follow all the way through, the tribulation period remember is upon thai holy people and thai holy city. And therefore I put it there until I know differently.

But I’m always open. I’m always looking. I’m always studying because I love the study of God’s Word. I told Betty the other day, I said, honey, I said, can you believe that years ago, I mean years ago. I used to stay up all night long and I studied the book of Revelation and Daniel and go through it, seek you, and Jeremiah, studying all these things. And I couldn’t go to sleep because I just get so entrenched and I just had to read it and I’d read it and I’d read it again and read it and I couldn’t remember hardly any of it.

I’d study it but then I couldn’t remember what it is. You ever done that? And then sometimes the more you study the less I understood. And now, 20 and 30 years later, those scriptures are coming to my mind, richer than ever before. And I can recall them because I studied them so many years ago. And as I read them and I studied them, I think one of the day the Lord’s going to give me that one of the clue, that one of the key, that click that’s going to help you to understand.

So whatever it is, you need to believe this is the Word of God. This is truth. word will be fulfilled. God is going to do exactly what He says He’s going to do. So believe it, though you may not understand all of it and how it’s all going to work out. Just keep believing it and trusting it. And maybe the Lord takes us a little bit as we go and who knows what we’ll know before the raptor takes place.

Look up here. This hand represents, you’re in me and the wallet represents sin. Now we We all have sin on us. You see, we have all done things that we shouldn’t do. We call them sins, bad things, mistakes, whatever it is, we’ve done it. Whatever sin is, we did it, but God loves us. And He hates for us to pay for sin, but it’s eternal separation from God in hell. And God wants us to go to heaven. You see, God’s going to judge this world, and we better get off of it.

I just want to get out of here before He does. Lord, will and that’ll take place. But to go to heaven, you have to be as perfect as righteous as God. See, there’s the problem. No one’s perfect and righteous like God. We’ve all come short of God’s perfection. Because of this sin, see, we can’t get in. So we need a Savior and we can’t save ourselves. I can’t save you, so I can’t be a Savior. You can’t save me, so you can’t be a Savior.

You can’t even save yourself. So that’s why you and I need a Savior. And there’s only one. And the person who saves us has to be someone who’s perfect, who’s innocent, who doesn’t have any sin to pay for. Cause if he has a sin to pay for, well then he can’t save anybody. Cause he has to save himself from his own sin. So the Bible says you and I Can’t save ourselves. It’s not by our works that we do.

This end represents Jesus Christ. He’s the Lord God in the flesh. Came into the world because He loves His hate, our sin, because it separates us from Him. So Jesus Christ who had no sin did not have to die. He took hours because He loved us, but He loved His Father. And He says that the world may know that I love my Father, this is what I’m going to do. I’m going to do the will of my Father. So He took our sins, paid for them on the cross, come back from the dead.

And God said, if you and I would believe that He did it for us, He would put this payment to our account, and we get to go to heaven on what Jesus Christ did for us. There’s no tricks to it, no gimmicks. It’s truly a gift of God. If offered you my wallet and you accept you would have an empty wallet, well, I got a dollar sticking up there. It’s not quite empty. And if offered you my Bible and you accept it, you would have a Bible.

Well, the point of this stupid little illustration is, is if Christ walked in here and offered you eternal life and you accepted you would have eternal life. And people ought to be able to see that. It’s called so simple, so easy. All they have to do is admit, I’m a sinner. Christ paid for my sins. I believe he did it for me. And because of my belief in it, he’s free to put it to my account. He can’t put it to my account until I believe he He did it for me.

But once I believe it, that’s why He says, for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that hosts whoever, if you believe, you won’t perish. But if you don’t believe, you will perish. But if you do believe, you will have everlasting life. And you get to go to heaven on what Jesus Christ did on the cross for you. It’s a free gift, best news in all the world. Let’s pray, shall we? Let me encourage you right now.

We can’t stop what’s going to happen upon this earth. Sometimes I wish they had the power to do that. But we do know what the Word of God says, where to be found faithful, where to do right. We’re supposed to raise up a standard in order to stop the flood of filth and violence in this world. God’s people are not floor mats to be walked on. We’re supposed to take strong stands and do right. But going to heaven, going to heaven.

You see, that’s not according to your works. It’s not because you’re very patriotic. God bless all the patriots in this land. It’s not because you’re religious, even though there’s nothing wrong with being religious as long as you trust some Christ as your Savior. Sometimes religion gets a bad name, but it’s just talking about how you’re living between you and God. It can be a good thing. But see, that won’t get you to heaven how you live. Christ died for you.

He paid for your sins. Will you trust Him as your Savior? And God said if you’ll trust Him as your Savior, He would give you eternal life as a freak gift and you could get to go to heaven on what He did for you. There’s no tricks to that, no gimmicks. If you have trust that Christ is your Savior, you’re God’s child. Sir the Lord, not to get to heaven, but because you’re going there. You’re God’s child. God wants to bless you.
