Revelation chapter 18, Babylon is fallen, is fallen. Whoever Babylon is, it fell. Some say Babylon is Babylon. say Babylon is Jerusalem and some say that Babylon is Rome. Some even say it’s New York City but wherever it is it fell. It will be the center of wherever the last world government will have its headquarters by which it controls the world and I I believe that’s from Jerusalem, but there’s always that little possibility that I may be wrong. But I want you to see something here in Revelation chapter 18 verse 2.

And it cried mightily with a strong voice in Babylon, the great is fallen is fallen. Become the habitation of devils and demons, the whole of every foul spirit in the cage of every unclean and hateful bird. in the north part there is going to be a whole bunch of them show up because there’s going to be a great supper. And he says, where the body is, there were the eagles be gathered together. And he says in verse 3, for all nations have drunk of the wind of the wrath of her fornication.

There’s one thing that Israel was supposed to do, and that was to be the light to the Gentiles, the light to the world. And Israel failed in their responsibility. So God has used the church, but God is not through with Israel. He would only be set aside temporarily until the fullness of the times of the Gentiles become in and God will deal with Israel. So the tribulation period that’s seven years, it’s right out here after us, God is going to provide His judgment upon the nation of Israel and the rest of the world.

Now he also makes this decision because there’s going to be a great judgment. I believe God is going to allow a bomb or something to hit because he says in one day, in one hour, she falls. Not over a long period of time. this place is wiped out and nothing flat. Whoever this place is, and you’ll see there in verse 8, therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and morning famine she shall be utterly burned with fire, for its strong is the Lord God who judges her.

So it’s going to be a very quick judgment upon this place. And many believe that because there’s the woman and the woman rides the beast and that this could be the area of the the beast itself. And the beast which has seven heads and ten horns turned upon the woman. So we know from the study of God’s word that in the last days there’s going to be a beast make a peace tree with Israel. And she is going to ride the beast.

Her protection is the beast. But the The base is going to throw her off. And as you’ll look there in Revelation chapter 17, look in verse 16, and the tin horns that thou sought upon the beast, they shall hate the whore. Shall make her desolate naked and shall eat her flesh, burn her with fire. For God had put in his hearts to fulfill his will and to agree and give their kingdom unto the beast until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

And the woman, which thou saw is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the year. So wherever these kings are going to rule from, they’re headquarters. And he says he’ll plant the palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain. But anyway, all we have to understand is not all the little details of it, but sometimes just the major points and know that it’s going to take place and then now what? What happens now? So you look there in verse 11 and the first word it says here in verse 11 and the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her.

For no man buy up their merchandise in the world. So wherever it is, it’s going to be the center of economic collapse. As you read this, you’ll find out all the nations of the earth. This is going to be the biggest calamity that’s ever happened monetary-wise because it will destroy all their purchasing power. You ever think what would happen if China would just nuke our satellite system in America, which I believe they’ve already tested it personally, but it could happen and what would happen in America?

It would be very interesting. We can’t hardly function now without our cell phones. What about all the banks, all the grocery stores, everything that’s on computers? All the businesses, even trucks, even cars, everything runs off computers anymore. You ever have a computer chip go out in a car and the car won’t even start? You can pay two or three hundred dollars just for the chip to go in there to make it run again. And it runs everything on your car.

It wouldn’t take much to paralyze the rest of the world, just with something so simple. Because before you remember any man could get out there under a shade tree and fix his car. With a screwdriver, purpliers and some bailing wire and some tape. Try that today. They used to call them shade tree mechanics. I have overhauled a motor before. Did you believe that? It didn’t run when I got done, but I mean I did it. I’ve taken a carburetor completely apart.

Now Now look in verse 12, the merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones, all the pearls, everything you mentioned down through here. Now there’s two things to look at this. One is this is the judgment upon things that God was going to do 2,000 years ago, or it also could be because of history, repeat this up in relationship to something that’s going to happen yet in the future. I want you to see this because it’s talk about all the silver and all the gold.

Look at verse 16 and say, And alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen and purple and scarlet and deck with gold and precious stones and pearls and all that in one hour. So great riches has come to nothing to not. You see, I don’t know if you’ve heard, you know, Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh or any of those guys, lady telling, by gold, by gold, by gold. When the bottom falls up, it don’t matter if you’ve got gold or not.

If nobody got you in change for you and there’s no food, we go eat gold, they’ll come a time when maybe even silver and gold be cast into the streets, we won’t have no need of it. I ain’t got nothing now, so I don’t know if I have any. I’m just glad that when this happens, I won’t be here. Now, I might wish I had a little set silver and gold before the rapture. But I guess if everybody else is going to be poor, we just all we can pour together.

We just call it Althouse. I would recommend this, and this is no joke. I believe you would be wise to store up at least a month of some good canned foods that doesn’t have to be cooked, don’t have to be mixed with water. You can open it up and eat it right out of the can. Food of all kinds, because I believe the time will come when you’ll wish you had it. It wouldn’t hurt to have a lot of water in containers that you can get your hands on if something happens to the water supply.

All of it’s temporary. It all is gonna get you by for a little bit of time. But you might wish you had that little bit of time. I believe that the Bible talks about in the book of Coronicals that they were men who understood the times and what they ought to do. We’re living in a time where most people are just plain ignorant. They don’t know what’s going on. Don’t know what to do anyway. But there’s nothing wrong in preparation.

As you study the Scriptures, even in Egypt, God knew there was a famine coming, but they They had seven years to get ready before the famine and told Joseph what to do. They planned. And God, I believe is going to let a few people see what’s coming. They’re worn, but whether or not anybody does anything about it or not, I don’t know. But it’s a personal thing, but I think that you ought to prepare that, Ken, you have enough to eat on and get by with what you have.

don’t trust it. Don’t worry Yankee. There’s a safe way story right down the street from me. Not too smart. But you need to just know that and be prepared and do what you can for you and your family. But anyway, as you look right here, it says here in verse 17, and every ship mass it all the company and ships and sailors as many as trade by sea stood afar off. Well, just about every nation in the world. And then He talks about here in verse 19, and they cast dust on their heads and cried weeping and wailing in the last, the last, that great city wherein we’re made rich.

We’re made rich. All the headships in the sea by reason of her causes. For in one hour she is made desolate. Now the people in heaven says rejoice, but the people on the earth, no, you’re not going to be rejoicing. And so He says, great judgment is coming. It will affect the whole Now let’s just pretend the place where this power is coordinated is obliterated. And now what’s going to happen? Look there in chapter 19. Chapter 19. Now as I already talked about in the last two verses of the previous chapter, chapter 18, about the merchants.

This is your stockbrokers. It’s all the merchants, people to buy and sell. Remember they can’t buy and sell unless they had the number of this world and world government. God’s going to take care of this world and world government. He’s going to deal with it. And after that’s done, then there is the battle of Armageddon that hasn’t took place yet. That’s the way it happens yet. You see that happens a little bit later when Christ comes back and power in great glory.

Then there’s the battle of Armageddon. So this precedes this. So in chapter 19 and verse 1, after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven saying, Hallelujah means praise the Lord. Salvation and glory and honor and power unto the Lord our God. In other words, those in heaven though, hey, we’re at the end, we’re almost there. This is going to be a one great glorious one. See they rejoiced up there. The people are living there.

They’re not rejoicing. Because they’re here. They’re going through all of this. We’re living at a time in this world where people are going to start losing it everywhere. Let me give you a little rough example. Let’s say for example you have the NEA. You might know what NEA stands for? National Education Association. Very good. Yeah. Now there you have all these teachers and all these unions all over the United States. And so even in every county here, everywhere, it is huge.

But you realize that over the years a lot of people and teachers and principals and all those that have worked, they have some have put into pension funds and some have been guaranteed certain things and there’s tenure that they’ve got and all this money. Well, money’s been invested. Money’s been lost. Now there’s people that they want and they believe they have a right to their money. So the state owes them, but states are broke. They don’t got no money.

So the only way they can pay these people, they got to get it from someplace. They got to get it from the people they don’t, they don’t know. They got to get it from the people by taxes. So we got to raise the taxes and get the money so they can pay the people that they owe. I see a problem. There’s people who say, wait a minute, wait a minute. Why should I take my money and bail them out?

And then there’s people who say, well, we have a right because you owe us. And if they don’t come through, do you understand we can have what happened in Egypt happen right here in our own streets? We could have them all over this country. And when people can’t find solutions, can’t get answered. Remember, people wanted to pay all these taxes to the governments, so the government can take care of us. Well when daddy can’t take care of us, they’re going to rebel and they’re going to try to use force.

And you’d be surprised, we can turn ugly very, very quick. This is going on right now in Mexico. Anybody been listening to the news? You said, well, man, I’m glad it’ll never happen in America. We’re sitting on a powder cake right here in America. And it could happen very, very quickly. I’m not saying who’s right, who wrong? I don’t really care about that. I’m just talking about the situation. How explosive it is. We’re sitting on a cake of dynamite.

And we don’t know how it’s going to end up. We don’t know what’s going to end up over there. But we know where we’re headed. And after a while, when it happens in America and it happens in the South, it happens in the that’s country and that country and all over the world is going to be ready for a Superman. A man to come on the scene that’s got the answers and people are gonna… but you see the reason people are looking to government for the answer is It’s because they have paid government their money and they want this guarantee Now this is why we should never have Given them that responsibility People should have kept the responsibility to take care of themselves and not giving it to government You see government didn’t take it from us.

We gave the government the right to do all of this stuff to us They don’t have the power to do it We gave it to them They didn’t have the right. We see we vote for people who will promise to give us something to protect us from the cradle to the grave. Alright, now when they can’t deliver, we’re gonna look to the government and then we’re gonna have people who will overthrow our government. And when that starts, then they’ll have to declare martial law.

And then our military will take over. Same thing that’s happened over there in Egypt. If I was the head of the military in Egypt, You think God’s gonna turn it over to anybody? Not if I’m already. What you gonna do? I got the military. Do you realize how strong our military is here in this country? What the right men at the right place could do if he wanted to? I don’t even want to think about it. Look here. He says here in verse 2 True and righteous are his judgment.

Now, would you just come through a time of judgment on the earth? where God has judged the earth, He’s judged the people. It affected everybody. But God must be just when He judges. Because people are always sitting in judgment on God. So He says, which did corrupt, but He judged the great horse, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication and have avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. And again they said praise the Lord, and her smoke rose up forever and ever.

Not just a word about that verse. You say, that means that if it happens in New York City, smoke will go up forever and ever and ever and ever and ever. Or if it was wrong, wrong will burn forever and ever and ever and ever and ever. Or if it is Jerusalem will burn forever and ever and ever and ever. Well, I don’t think is talking about the land. Look there in chapter 14 in verse 11, chapter 14 verse 11.

And you’ll notice something else here. And the smoke of their torment, ascended up forth ever and ever. It’s the smoke of their torment. It’s not the ashes from the rubble that go up forever and ever and ever. It’s the people that God has judged. It’s the people. That are dead. It’s the people that are in the lake of fire. And the smoke of their torment ascended up forever and ever. So go back here to chapter 19. In verse 4 and the 4 and 20 elders, and the 4 beasts fell down and worshiped God.

That said on the throne saying, Amen, praise the Lord. Hallelujah. And a voice came out of the throne saying, praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him both small and great, the moment has arrived. And he said, I heard a great voice in heaven, and he thought a picture of all these people that are in heaven from Adam all the way down that are in heaven, all these angels, and all this hollering, shouting, probably sounds like thunder.

Ted, you always wanted to hear this thunder? It’s coming bud, just hanging there, just a little bit longer and you’ll hear it. He always wants to have an audio of the greatest thunder that’s ever hit up on planet earth. Well, I think what’s going to happen when we get to heaven is going to be some of the lot of thunder you’ve ever heard in your life of people praising the Lord and their voice just sounds like thundering. But get what he says here.

He says, in the last part of it, verse 6, the Lord God omnipotent, re’eneth. You ever heard that phrase before, like in Hand of the Messiah? That’s where it comes from. That phrase is used several times in that song. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Now, verse 7, to verse 10 talks about another issue, something that’s going to take place in heaven. There’s going to be the marriage of the Lamb, the marriage of the Lamb. You heard me say before the next time I get married I’ll be the bride.

First time I was the groom. Next time I won’t be the bride. Whenever you trusted Christ as your Savior you were born and placed into the body of Christ. And all believers from Pentecost to the rapture are the bride of Christ. You see, and I mentioned to you before, he was God, Jehovah. And God took this little old nation that started because of a miracle birthed by two old folks, Abraham and Sarah, and they had a son. And from that son, a son.

And from that son, twelve sons. And from those twelve tribes, they’re down in Egypt and they kind of incubated there for 400 years. And God brought them out and he had a great nation. And God wanted to get married and he marries the nation of Israel and he brings her to his Holy mountain scared of the death.

And he proposed to her and she says, all that you have commanded me him, we will do. We’ll do it. I do, you do, we do, we’re married. So Jehovah took Israel to be his wife. So God as a wife, no, I know it sounds strange, but I mean, you don’t follow the illustration. Don’t get bent out of shape. God wanted a son. God wanted a son that would be just like him. He wanted to have a perfect son.

It took a while, but lo and behold there was this virgin and the Holy Spirit came and placed the seed inside of that woman. And he says, that holy thing shall be called the son of the highest. So Israel is the wife and God, the father and the wife, they have a son. But the woman doesn’t want her son, she cast him out. So he was taken up to be with the Lord and God has allowed all of those all those who believe in his son to be made perfect.

God sees looking for a perfect bride for his perfect son and his son is perfect has no sin so he has to have a perfect bride but you and I well there is nobody perfect so he said he’ll make us perfect so by the new birth you are given The divine nature of God. So every one of us who are born into God’s family have been made pure and holy and set apart. And so all of these from Pentecost to the Raptor are set apart.

And we form the bride of Christ. And so God says at the marriage supper of the Lamb, see we’re the one that’s going to be there, but before we get to the marriage, we have to have the wedding dress. Now you and I know that we’re dressed in the righteousness of Christ when we trust Christ the Savior, but these verses are talking about a little bit more than just the righteousness of Christ. Look there in verse 7, let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to him for the marriage of the Lamb is come and his wife hath made herself ready.

And to her was granted that she should be a raid in fine linen, clean and white. But fine linen is the righteousness of saints, of the rights acts of the saints. So where did we just go right before the marriage of the Lamb? We just went to the judgment seat of Christ. At the judgment seat of Christ, you and I are going to be judged or rewarded for what we’ve done for the Lord. To decipher whether not are your works, go silver and precious stone to her, hey, wouldn’t stubble.

So you’ve got to find out what sort it is. The hay, wooden stubble, that’s the wasted life. And this is what you did for Christ that will last. And God is going to, I guess, in some way, see everybody has to have a, or should have a, you know, a dowry. What do we get? So we’re going to have our crowns or our certain dress is going to have something that distinguishes and it says like we shall all shine as the brightness of the firmness and the stars and so forth in the book of Daniel in chapter 12.

But whatever it is, your service to the Lord now, I believe it depends on what you wear to the wedding. And when you go to the wedding, we’re addressing the righteous acts of the saints. There’s going to be the banquet hall. And if you listen real quietly, you can hear them rattling the civil words and getting ready. ready. It’s going to take place any day now. And we’re going to be at this big wedding. And then we’re coming to the earth with the Lord.

Now you don’t have to worry about it. Is he going to take us on our honeymoon to the Battle of Armageddon? I mean, is that a place to take your wife? But we know that he is coming back, power and great glory, and He’s going to get everything set up by him. Remember whenever he left, he said, I go to prepare a place for you. Now remember, in Jewish custom, it was generally the father that tried to find the right bride for the son.

And then she was to get ready because she didn’t know exactly when he was going to show up. Well, see, the whole principle is based upon the story. It’s a truth. I mean, it’s unreal. So we don’t know exactly when he’s gonna show up, but we’re supposed to be ready and be looking for him.
