We pray that you will enjoy our commitment to the clear gospel of Jesus Christ and that today’s first part of this two-part message will be a blessing to you and your family. Turn in your Bible to the Gospel of John chapter 1. You know, the Bible says that in the Old Testament that Moses, you know, got to see the Lord and the burning bush. And the main thing about that whole illustration was not the burning bush. It was God.

The burning bush got his attention, but the key thing about that is it was God. God doesn’t have any form or shape. God is a spirit. It must be worshiped in spirit and in truth. Whenever they led the children of Israel into the wilderness, the Bible talks about, you know, right before they got there, there was a pillar of fire and a cloud. But the Bible tells us it was the Lord. The Lord was the fire. The Lord was the cloud.

God can take on whatever shape He wants. Many people believe that it was strange for Jesus Christ who’s God in the flesh, but really in the Old Testament, Jehovah revealed himself as a man, as an angel, took upon flesh in the Old Testament. And he did appear, and people did see this man, but it was God. I’ll have to admit that over the years, I sure would love to see God. I wanna see Him. I love to see Him face to face.

Well, one day we will. But the only one we may ever see may simply be the Son of God. I’m not sure. But I do believe that there is a true and living God and Yeshua, Jesus is God. And that is His name. In the book of John chapter one, if you’ll turn there, I’ll look there in verse 18. Verse 18 says, No man have seen God at any time. Now we know that there’s times when it shows that He saw the backside of Him in His glories, and went by not his face.

And there’s times when God, it seemed like God spoke face to face as with a man. But it was because he was veiled. But no man’s ever seen God in his power, in his great glory. And be in the natural flesh and be able to live. Have you ever seen what happens when you go outside and you want to look right dead into the middle of the sun, it kind of blinds you. You look at what you can go blind by staring into too much light.

What Jesus is light and no man has seen the face of God and be able to live. Even Moses when he was in the presence of God says that when he came down from the mount, even his face glowed because he had been in the presence of the Lord. Now here he says… The only begotten son, which is in the bosom of the Father, and you ought to line these words. He hath declared him. In other words, he hath revealed the Father.

He has manifested the Father. You see there in verse one when it says, in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. And then it says there in verse 10, he was in the world and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. Then He came into His own, and it says in verse 14, and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory.

The glory is of the only begotten of the Father. Now there is someone in the world that can reveal the Father, the God that we cannot see. And his name was Jesus. And the reason he can tell us everything about the Father and what he’s like and say things along the line is, if you’ve seen me, you’ve seen the Father is because he was with the Father from the very beginning. You see, it makes the statement in the book of Isaiah concerning Jesus Christ and the government shall be upon his shoulders and he shall rule and reign and his name shall be called counselor and mighty God and the everlasting father of the Prince of Peace and so on.

If he’s an everlasting father, then he had to have an everlasting son. You and I will not understand this, not this side of eternity. And then when we get to heaven, I’m still not sure we will. But turn in your Bible to John chapter 5 and verse in verse 37. John chapter 5 and verse 37, and verse 37 says, And the Father, the Father Himself, which have sent me. So that means that He was with the Father and the Father sent Him, and that He had glory with the Father before He came into the world and took upon flesh.

He says, And the Father Himself, which have sent me, hath borne witness of man. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. You’ve never seen God. And it’s amazing that this whole book is about a place called heaven and hell, and it reveals so much about prophecy. But it says, now, you’ve never seen God. You’ve never seen his shape. You’ve never seen his form. What does God look like? Even though he took upon human flesh in the Old Testament as an angel of God, of the Lord Jehovah, or manifested in the flesh here in the person of Jesus Christ, we’ve still never seen God.

I’d like to see God. There’s been times over the years when sometimes you feel a little important because you know somebody that is important. I used to revel in the fact that, you know, I enjoy going to Florida Bible College and, you know, being the student there and everything going on and then Dr. Stanford asked me if I would be a youth director for ranch. I’m not sure I had a clue what to do. But I got a chance to learn by watching the man in action.

And they put it in the year book, co-director. I am somebody because I know Ray Stanford. And you know what else is good? Ray Stanford knew me. Ray Stanford, the president of the college knows who I am. I’m not just a bawt. I’m somebody. Somebody knows me. I had a dad that was going to put me in a burlap sack and throw me in a river and drown me. He really didn’t know me, did But my mama wouldn’t let him.

Sometimes, you know, there’s some people that don’t think too highly of you. Somebody else may think very highly of you, but it doesn’t matter. One time I had a person named and says, have you ever met Oliver B. Green? Anybody ever heard of Oliver B. Green? He’s on the radio all over the world. But that guy back then, he was on the gospel, our radial broadcast. He was preaching up there and… Tennessee, I wanted to get into the meeting, but that night it was in July it was hot.

They didn’t have air condition. The windows were opened on the sides and people were already packed in there and there was no room. It was 15 deep and people standing all around the window and I got there late and I couldn’t get in and I was just heartbroken. I got to get inside so I did what women do at the clay marks and I put my elbow and started working my way in. It wasn’t long before I got into the back door.

I looked up there and there said, Dr. Oliver Big Green. And the preacher was up there and they would sing and then everybody was having a wonderful time. And I’m standing back there and he just says, I’m I’m sorry, but we don’t have enough seating. Just find a place wherever you can. Well, lo and behold, he introduced Dr. Oliver B. Green and there was only one seat open in the whole place. And that’s the one Dr. Oliver B. Green just got out of.

Now I heard what the man said. A lot of people heard a voice, but didn’t catch what he said. But of course nobody in their right mind would think he meant, come up here and have a seat. But I was young. I was only 22, but I made my way around, and I came all the way down, and Dr. Oliver B. Green came up to the podium, and he was getting ready to start, and he watched me. He watched me.

The preacher did too. He just froze. Because I looked like a man on a mission. I had my face set like a flint. I would move neither to the right or to the left. And I walked all the way down, come upon the platform and sit in that man’s chair. And I sit down there like I knew I have the right to do this because the preacher said, and nothing else mattered. I sit down there with my Bible, like I’m ready, you can start now.

He stood there and in the knees, He kept looking at me for a second. And the preacher, he turned around and he smiled and everybody applauded. I got, if they just stood, it would have been a standing ovation, but they didn’t. But some people miss out on a lot of good opportunity because of fear. I was numb to stuff like that. I just did whatever it came into my mind. That’s what cost me a lot of problems down over the years too.

But I wanted to get to meet the guy. I wanted to sit there and watch him sweat. And he had two microphones up there and he would… That is the Bible said. I won’t. And he’d throw his hand right between those two microphones. I’m right there. I’m going to go right between that. I thought if he hits that thing, like… That’s what it was preaching one time. was in a sword conference with him, that in Texas. And he was up there just to preach in a way and he says, kind of like this man one day he was up there preaching and he forgot what he was going to say.

Behold, he cometh, behold, he cometh, but he couldn’t remember the next point. So he always remember that in Bible college when you can’t remember always just keep repeating until you do. And pound the pulpit because when you have a weak point, pound the pulpit harder because a strong point will stand on the song. But if it’s weak, you really get after it. You don’t know what you’re doing, but it sounds good. So you bring your… No. Behold, he cometh.

Well, he said that about three or four times, and he went too far over. And next thing you know, the podium went over the pulpit. I mean it landed down and he just went over and he landed on the front row right in this lap of the lady sitting on the front row. He says, ma’am, I am so sorry. I am so sorry. I am so sorry. She says, sorry nothing. You warned me four times you were coming. Be holy.

Come on. Look at the last part of verse 37. He has neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. You have never seen God. That’s why sometimes it’s so hard for us to understand about God to know someone, to love someone, and you’ve never seen him. But God is real. He is as real to me as anything I’ve ever touched or felt or, you know, the air I breathe, he’s real. And he permeates my thoughts. And I can’t see him, but that’s why when you want to see God, you have to see Christ.

The more you study about Christ, you’re learning about God. Jesus is God. He is God. And that’s hard for some people to understand. Look there in this verse, John chapter 6 and verse 46. on chapter 6 and verse 46. Look what he says here. Not that any man have seen the Father. Not that any man have seen the Father. Save he which is of God. He have seen the Father. Save he which is of God. He’s talking about himself.

And when he makes the statement there in verse 37, where we were just a moment ago, He had neither heard his voice at any time nor seen his shape, but he said, I have. Jesus is saying, I’ve seen the Father. I’ve heard his voice. I know. I know. I’ve been there. I’ve been with him. I know God. And he says, you don’t know God. He says, because if you knew God, the Father, you know me. I and the Father are one.

How would you like to be like Abraham out there one day, sitting in the Bible talks about it in the book of Genesis chapter 18 verse 1, is that Abraham was sitting there in the heat of the day and he saw three men walking up. Three men. You’re just minding your own business. You know you got your tent there and you’re just watching the camels play or whatever camels do. And you’re just minding your own business and three guys walk up there and one One of them is God, God, two angels and God.

God walked up. Can you imagine that after that was all over with, somebody come along, hey, Ava, hey, what you been doing? No, you wouldn’t believe it if I told you. What you been doing? Well, I was just sitting here in the cold of the day drinking my ice cold limit. They didn’t have ice on them. They eliminated. And God came over to ask me some questions. We talked through a while. Then He left. Can you imagine that? When’s the last time He came to see you?

Did you know that the Bible talks about angels and people who have entertained angels unaware that they were angels? I’m not to skew you to death. You’d be surprised at things that have happened to us in our life. But I love reading these things. In John chapter six, I want you to look back there at this verse in verse 46. Not that any man have seen the Father, save he which is of God, he have seen the Father. And then I want you to go down there and look at another verse with me.

Look in verse 42, and they said, is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven. They knew what he was saying. They just couldn’t buy it. They could not believe what they heard. They couldn’t believe what they heard and they could not believe what they saw. So, if you look there, how can he say, I came down from heaven because he did come down from heaven?

We know his mother and father, how can it be? They didn’t really know his father. See, Joseph was not his father. Mary was the mother. The Joseph was not the father. He did not father him. Jesus was God in the flesh. And the Bible says that holy thing shall be called the Son of the living God. You see, the Holy Spirit would overshadow Mary. and placed the seed within her and Jesus would have a body prepared for the to be the Lamb of God, the sacrifice for the sins of the world.

Look in Colossians in chapter 1, the book of Colossians, in chapter 1. Colossians chapter 1, I want you to look in verse 15. Colossians chapter 1, look in verse 15. Says in verse 15, who refer into Christ? But let me just kind of give you a couple of verses before that that helps you see it a little bit better. You see there in verse 13, who hath delivered us from the power of darkness and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear son?

That’s when you trusted Christ as your Savior. See, when you were born into the world, you were born into the kingdom of darkness. You trusted Christ as your Savior. You were translated into the kingdom of light, the kingdom of his dear son. And then he says in verse 14, in whom, in Christ is his son, in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins. See, when we talk about he hath redeemed me. We’ve been redeemed. What does it mean to be redeemed means you’ve been forgiven You see, the reason I can go to heaven is because I have been forgiven of all of my sins.

I don’t have any sins to pay for. He paid for them. And as he says, the As he says there, in whom we have redemption through his blood, his blood, his death was the payment for our sins. salvation. So in verse 15, who? Still talking about the things. Who is the image of the end. You ought to underline this word, the invisible God. There is an invisible God and Jesus is making the invisible God visible so that you and I can see God because we want to know what does God look like?

What does He look like? I’m still having problems trying to figure out why God did it all. But He said it was because He loved us. He created us and every one of us is made in His image. So you see, God loves you. He wants you to have eternal life and to be with Him forever. But He wants you to just take Him at His Word. After all, He says He made the world. Can you prove He didn’t?

Can you prove He did not make the world? go for it. There was some scientists that says, we can do anything that God says He did in the Bible. We can create a man too. So they had a contest between them and God. They says, you create a man out of the dirt of the ground, we can do it too. God says, go ahead. So they reached down, got him some dirt. He said, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Get Get your own dirt. Get your own dirt. They can’t even create dirt. I have fun thinking the way I do. Makes life so much more enjoyable. But you can’t you enjoy life and have a little bit more humor when you know truth. When you know the truth. It’s so beautiful. This is so beautiful. Thank you. All right. So, you’re welcome. You guys are on mute. Hey Jamie. Hi. This is Martha. This is Martha. We have a great evening.

We will see you at night. Have a good night. Thank you. You’re welcome. If you are welcome. You have a great evening. Bye, everybody. Thank you, everybody. We have a great evening. We have a wonderful evening. We have a great evening. We’ll see you at night. Thank you. Bye. You are welcome. We hope you will see you in the next video. I hope you’re going to see this. But he says, who is the image of the invisible God? Man, I like that.

I like that. Looking first Timothy chapter one, first Timothy and chapter one, the Bible tells us that the Apostle Paul was greatly used by the Lord and that God was making him an example. Look how bad he was. And if God can save the bad man, know the chief of sinners, well, then he can save anybody. So you say, well, I’m just too bad. God can’t save me. No, no, no, no. God can save the worst. He can save anybody.

There is someone he cannot save. And that’s the person who will not trust them. God cannot and will not save anybody who’s trying to save themselves. Anybody who’s trying to earn their way to heaven by their works, God can’t save them. Because God can’t save a man who’s trying to add works to his grace. Well, we’re, but what I want you to see. Look at verse 14. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

It’s all in Christ. This is in verse 15, this is a faithful say and worthy of all acceptation. What he means is it’s worthy for everybody to accept. That Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. So if he can save the chief, he can save the Indians. Verse 16, how be it for this cause I obtain mercy? Why did he obtain mercy? See up there in verse 13, who was before a blasphemer and a persecutor, injurious, and I obtained mercy, I did it ignorantly and unbelief.

All those things that he did, he did it in unbelief, in other words, he was not a believer. God can save anybody that will trust him. It doesn’t matter how bad you’ve been. All the bad things you’ve ever done, redemption through his blood. the forgiveness of sins. That’s why whenever God forgives you of all of your sins, then they’re all forgiven. It means there’s no sin for you to pay for it. If there’s no sin for me to pay for it, then I can’t go to hell.

That’s why I can’t go to hell today or tomorrow. Why? I’ve been redeemed. I have a payment. His death, his blood that he shed was for my sins. I had a wonderful opportunity. This is at this week and talk with some people that suppose you believe that Jesus is the Yeshua, He is the Messiah, Messiah, Mosheuk. They believe that. I believe that. But you see, you can have lost people in a lot of churches talk about Christ’s eternal salvation by grace, but they don’t believe in eternal security.

They just don’t believe in eternal security. Then they do not really believe what Christ said or did, until you do. You don’t really believe it. Because what he said was, he that believeth on the half everlasting life. To be preached unto them the forgiveness of sins. Now either it’s true or not. who or not.
