So I want you to take your Bible and turn to the book of Galatians. The book of Galatians in chapter 1. I want you to notice verse four, chapter one verse four, where it says, Who gave Himself for our sins? That He might deliver us from this present evil world. Now if you want to know what is this world like in God’s eyes, it is an evil world. If you listen to all the things that are going on in the world today, it’s one evil world.

And man is not going to improve it. Man cannot improve it. Without the Lord, you can’t make it better. Only the Lord can do that. And mainly it’s because of His people doing the right thing. But we have drifted. Drifted pretty far from the biblical standards of God’s Word. But He says here to deliver us from this present evil world. And we’ve often mentioned this about the penalty of sin, power of sin, presence of sin. So He saves us from the penalty of sin.

when you trust the Christ as your Savior, you were saved from that penalty. You don’t have to ever pay that penalty. It’s forgotten. But there’s consequences of sin in your life. You know, just because it’s been forgiven doesn’t mean the consequences of it’s not over. And you’re still things that you suffer from because of wrong decisions that you make. And so God wants to save us from the power that sin has in our daily life. So that’s why He gives us the indwelling Holy Spirit so that we would have the power to deal with the soul-scentful nature.

So that as a Christian we can have some victory in our Christian life. And then one day we will be safe from the very presence of sin. So the question comes down as if you asked a person, do you believe the Bible? It’s always good to get down to the very basics. What is sin? What is sin? So look very quickly in the book of James in chapter 4, James in chapter 4. James chapter 4 and look what he says there in verse 17.

James 4 17 says, therefore to him that noeth to do good and doeth it not to him it is sin. So what is sin? Knowing to do right and not doing it. Does that fall anywhere in your category? Have you ever messed that up? Have you ever known what’s right and then you still fail to do it? Then And also I want you to look there in the book of Romans in chapter 3, Romans and chapter 3. Romans chapter 3, it gives us another good definition of what is sin and what was the purpose of God given the law.

See the Bible says in Romans chapter 3 verse 19 that the whole world is guilty before God. Now the only way the whole world can be guilty before God is that everybody in the world sinned against God. So we’re all born with this sinful nature and you’ll notice what he says in verse 20, therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight. Because once you are condemned there is no way for you to save yourself.

You’ve already been judged by God, found guilty in a court of law. You’re done. You’re toast. By the law is the knowledge of sin. The law lets you know we have all sinned against God. And that’s why I made this statement. The law cannot save a man because the law is what lets you know you are a sinner, but God never gave the law to save anybody. You You can’t save yourself by the law. It was the law that condemned you.

The law can’t save you, it can only condemn. And most people never see that. So we do understand what it means when God says all of sand and there’s a price to be paid. Now I want you to take your Bible and turn with me to the book of Genesis and Chapter 7. Genesis Chapter 7. Do you believe the Bible? If the Bible says we’re sinners, would you believe that? You have any problem with that? Or do you want to argue with God on that point?

I wouldn’t argue with God on that point. Then he says the wages of sin is death. Well, would you argue with God on that point? Seems like everybody born lives and then dies, don’t they? Nobody lives forever. So since everybody does die, it must be true. So people have a problem believing the Bible. But if you can understand what he says on simple things, then you can understand him on things that maybe you don’t fully grasp. But because he’s been accurate on all these other things, causes you to believe all of the world of God.

Now, we know that we’re living in a time where people are trying to redefine what words mean, you know, like, what is the meaning of is? Some people don’t know what that is. And now you have the people asking, what is the meaning of marriage? And they got that wrong. The most brightest, nine people in the whole United States, well, five of them got it wrong. And they’re supposed to be our brightest, and they messed it up. They couldn’t even get that right.

So somebody just wake up. You know, I told you that I had this little I thing done on me so I could be able to see y’all just a little bit better. last Sunday I recognized that I could see your faces a little clearer. And after all this time, I thought you were hot awake and you were sleeping. Now, do you believe the Bible? And if you do, think about this, if the fall had not happened, if Adam and Eve hadn’t had sinned, would we be having a problem with murder if there had not been a fall?

Would we have a problem with lying, if they’re heading to Benaphal or stealing. See we wouldn’t have a problem with those things because see if man had never sinned, if man had never fell, there’d been no fall, we wouldn’t have a problem with these things. Would there be death if they had not been a fall? Would there be disease? Would the preacher be sick? Would you have aches and pains? Or no death, no disease? There’d be no divorce? See, that’s all a result of one thing, S-I-N, right?

That’s all we come down to it. Because there was a fall, because of sin, these things are in our world. That’s why God called it a sinful, evil, wicked world. And we were born here, and we’re living here in a sinful, wicked world. Do you know what God says? He said, I got another world wherein dwelleth righteousness, no sin, no sorrow, no sickness, no disease, none of those things. Now, think about this. If there had been no fall, would we be discussing gay love, gay sex, gay marriage?

No. Wouldn’t even be on an issue. So evidently those things must be because of, what’s that word again? Sin. So they’re fighting for the right to sin. That’s no different than fighting for the right to lie, fighting for the right to murder, fighting for the right to steal, fighting for the right to have sex with anyone they want. Those are all the results of sin and you can’t legislate it right. So even if the majority of the people in the whole world says it’s okay, it’s still not okay.

Just because they made something legal doesn’t mean it’s lawful. We have the law God gave to us. No man has a right to make any laws contrary to the laws of righteousness he’s already laid down. So if there had been no sin, would you and I needed a Savior? Well we need a Savior for it had been no sin. We wouldn’t have needed a Savior either. Without sin there would be no perversion. of love or sex or marriage. It would be holy in the right place as God created.

Now I want you to notice something here in the book of Genesis. In chapter 7 you know he already made the statement in chapter 6. He had seen the wickedness of man upon the earth and that the imagination of man was wicked continually and everything he imagined to do he did. Because see the way to feel good with the sin you’re doing. And you don’t want to have it restrained if you don’t want to do right. Because now there is no God, there’s no heaven, there’s no hell.

There’s no right and wrong. So you want to remove sins, restraints. There are restraints on crime. This is why we’re having a lot of trouble in our country with judges not knowing what’s right and wrong. I mean, it’s a sign of stupidity. I hate to be so blunt, but common sense isn’t common because a lot of people don’t get it. But anyway, I want you to notice here in Genesis in chapter 7, look in verse 2, of every clean beast, thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his what?

So even with all the animals, God made a female that fits this animal. Whatever it is, him, the male, and his female. And you’ll notice, and a beast that are not cleaned by the male and his female. Now let me ask you a question. beginning. Did God make a male and his male or a female and her female or did he make a male and his female? He made a woman to meet the need of the man. He did not intend for the man to meet the need of a man.

Am I being clear? And it doesn’t matter how many people in legislative or judicial, they’re wrong and I have no problem and I’m not ashamed to say I believe the Bible. And if I believe the Bible this is where I stand. You say well what if you’re wrong? Well you don’t have to take that up with God. So if I’m wrong God’s wrong I just agree with the book. Now if the Bible is wrong take it and go into trash can and go live your life but don’t say you believe the Bible because I’m gonna tell you what the Bible says.

But notice what he says in verse 3, of files also of the air by seven, the male and the female, to keep what? If the whole world had been created by God, male and male, it would have been the end of the human race. Right? And every file of the air and every animal, if they were all male and male, would have be in the end of all reproduc- they could not reproduce. Therefore it is wrong what they’re trying to perpetrate on to us and getting us to accept that as a an acceptable lifestyle.

As soon as God rewrites his word sins and addendum to it or an amendment, I’m sorry it’s in concrete. It is sinful, wicked and wrong and you cannot make it right. What is sin? Anything God wants to call sin. It’s rebellion to God. It’s transdressing of the law to him that Noah to do right and do it that not to him it is sin. So the Bible makes it clear. Look there also in verse five and six. Verse five, and Noah did according unto all that the Lord commanded him.

And Noah was 600 years old when the floods of waters was upon the earth. Noah went in and his sons, his wife, his sons wives with him into the ark because of the waters of the flood. Now this is a man and a woman, three sons and their wives. Isn’t that amazing? They could reproduce. Good name. Do you see any hen here that would have been disqualified? It didn’t make anything about and these two women and these two men.

No, no, no. male and female. Just like God intended and He wanted to destroy the world and He’s going to start it all over again. And that’s what God did. So look in verse 9, there went into and to unto Noah into the the male and the female as who You commanded. God. So I would just hang with what the Bible has to say. Now, when you don’t believe the Bible, what do you want to do with what you consider and been told is truth.

Thy word is truth. Jesus says, I am the way the truth in the life. So take your Bible and turn to the book of Romans in chapter 1. The book of Romans and chapter 1. chapter 1, I want you to look there in verse 23, because God has already said that the world that God made is the evidence that God exists. The earth is the evidence that God exists. Man didn’t make the world. The world did not make itself.

God says, I did it. You prove I didn’t. And then he makes a statement here in verse 23 and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to a corruptible man. Now notice this word changed. The word change is so important. See, when you don’t believe what God says, then you try to change what God says and change it into something better or worse. It’s never better. It’s always worse. And why do they want to change it because in verse 21, because that when they knew God they glorified Him not as God.

Neither were thankful but became vain in their imagination and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise they became what? The Bible says in the book Psalms, a fool have said in his heart, what did it say? There is no God. Who said that? A fool. A fool. And what’s bad today is that we send our kids to school to be taught by a bunch of fools. And you wonder why your kids are acting so foolish. But anyway, they were moving right along.

Now notice what he says in verse 23 and changed. They want to change and make something else, God, instead of the real true God. Also notice there in verse 25, who changed the truth. So one change what who God is and then change what God said. Who changed the truth of God into what? Into a line. So what are most of our our humanist educators teach in today, truth or a lie, a lie. So whenever they wanna pass more laws in order to make sin more acceptable, you gotta change the truth into a lie.

So what is marriage? Marriage is between a man and a woman, male and female, true? I mean from the Bible that’s what it says. All right, if they make it something else, they have changed truth into what? Into a lie. So it’s what they’re trying to get us to accept as a acceptable lifestyle, truth or lie. It’s a lie. So here we are, we say, we believe the Bible. Well, do we accept that or not? No, it’s wrong. It’s sinful and it’s wicked.

But they wanna change the truth. And then look what he says in verse 26. And for this cause God gave them up for unto vile affections, for even their women did change the natural use into that just against nature, women with women. See, the Bible doesn’t say whether or not, well, because you love each other, it’s okay. Not that, doesn’t it, he got so that lust. God says it’s wicked and it’s wrong. Just because you desire something, don’t make it right.

You may be married and desire another woman. Is it still wrong? Still wrong. Just because you desire doesn’t mean, okay, it’s okay to do it because we love each other. No, you promise to honor and obey this one to the day you died and keep your word and do right. You maybe can’t go back and correct anything but from day on do all the right you know to do. Otherwise in your mind it will work on your conscience. You got to try to change something and there’s a great danger in changing what God says, adding to what God says that God said and say that.

Let God do the talking. Let us just do the listening. And you’ll be surprised how it will help you. Take your Bible and turn to the book of Revelation. The book of Revelation. Revelation chapter 20. Revelation chapter 20. The Bible says that the next thing to happen according to God’s timetable is for the rapture to take place. that Jesus Christ will come back in the air. And you and I that are living at this time. I included us in there.

I forget that’s the way it’s going to be. And all of a sudden, in a moment in the twinkling of a nine, will be changed, caught up to meet the Lord in the air. And the Bible says, so shall we ever be with the Lord, or for comfort one another with these words. So one day he’s going to come, ready or not, ready or ready or not, you’re going. Doesn’t matter where you are and what you’re doing. Surprise, surprise, you’re out of here.

And you will be with the Lord. We’ll go to the judgments of the Christ where God says that He’s going to reward us for what we’ve done for Him. Then there’ll be the marriage supper of the Lamb. You see we’re the bride and we’re going up to the judgments of the Christ to get dressed. And then we’re going to go to the marriage supper. And then the Bible says we’re coming back to this earth to rule and reign with Christ for a thousand years.

Then after that there’ll be a great white throne judgment and then a new heavens and a new earth. But you see, after Christ comes and takes us out of here, there will be seven years upon this earth. There will be the worst of the time the world has ever known. I mean, the world is going to collapse. But it’s looking for a superman that may have all the answers and lo and behold, he will come preaching a lie because they would not believe the truth, they’ll believe the lie.

And the Bible says that they could have been saved but they rebelled and they rejected the Lord. And so the tribulation period is a terrible, terrible time that’s coming. I pray that the Lord may take us out of here very soon because things are beginning to look pretty dark around the old world and you can be a little down in discourage but that’s why at the end of all of my radio broadcasts is keep looking up, just keep looking up or the day is going to happen.

So in chapter 20 the Bible says that when Christ comes back there’ll be this battle of Armageddon and then there’ll be an angel that’s going to take the devil and cast him into a pit. You see there in verse 1 and I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent which is the devil and Satan and bound him a thousand years, cast him into the bottomless pit, shut him up, set a seal upon him that he should deceive the nations no more.

Till a thousand years should be fulfilled, and after that he must be loosed a little season for a short period of time. So he says in verse 4, And I saw thrones and they set upon them and judgment was given to them, and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the word of God, which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their forehead and in their hands and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

See we’re already up there. Now he’s referring to those who were killed in the tribulation period. And so the Bible says they’ve been martyred and Christ comes back. There’s going to be a resurrection of those dead bodies, of his saints. It’s called the first resurrection in which the second resurrection is for the lost people and there’s no power in the second resurrection. They are not saved people. You and I, we are part of that first resurrection. We are, our bodies will be raised and those that are alive will be changed.

When the rapture takes place, they come back, resurrection of the bodies, and we all go to be with the Lord. Now, there’s phases of the first resurrection, just like there’s phases of the second coming. The first phase is the rapture, the second phase is the revelation. So God has laid out what’s going to take place. And He says now, doing this thousand years, He has a word here, one little word that’s very important. I want you to see it.

It’s just mentioned three times here in the next couple of verses or the couple of chapters. And I wanted you to see this. So you see there in verse 5, but the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection. That word part, hath part in the first resurrection. It means this is something that you have a right to because there are what we call sometimes salvation blessings.

Salvation blessings. In other words, when you trusted Christ as your Savior, God not only has blessed you with the free gift of eternal life. He has blessed you in a lot of ways and that He made you His child and He blessed you with the Holy Spirit. He put you into His family. And he’s going to let you stand at the jebbins of the Christ gives us the privilege of serving him. We may not, but you still got that opportunity.

He has rewards that he could give to you, but you may not earn them. And the thing is about salvation going to heaven is free. But what you have when you get there depends on what you do for him. And realize it just because you are his child, you have become an heir of God and joint heirs with Christ. And God is going to give you things. You’re going to see things. I have not seen ear have not heard, neither have entered into the heart of man The things with God has prepared for them to love him.

So there’s all kinds of blessings that comes Because you’re a saved individual when you septic Christ is your Savior. You’re going to live with the Lord For all eternity. You’re going to be in a place called the holy city with the Lord forever and ever and ever ever. And the Bible talks about the pleasure that we’re going to have. It’s going to be such a wonderful thing. And there’ll be no more sorrow and sin and sickness and disease and all these things that are bad because you see there’s no sin there because see there’s sin here.

This is an evil world. So God has done some things to save us and deliver us from this present evil world. God has a better world waiting for us. And so we came into this world and He’s going to take us out of this world. And where He takes us is because we accept the Christ as our Savior while we’re in this world. So now as a saved individual, I can claim certain things because I’m His child. I have rights to certain things.

But you see the lost man, when Christ died on the cross for the lost man, wasn’t that payment that Christ made also made for him? Wasn’t that payment made for the lost man? Even that person that rejects the Lord, didn’t Christ still die for him? Didn’t God still make it possible for that lost man to have eternal life? So when God offered eternal life, He offered to everybody, it was offered to everyone to live in the holy city was also for the lost everybody.

He made all of that this whole new world for everybody. But there’s some people that are not going to have a part in that because they did not believe their opportunity to have a part in all of that. To have a part it’s like an opportunity and And they’re gonna forfeit that opportunity. And it’ll never be real to them. Because we took advantage of an opportunity. Somebody told us about the Lord, and we believe it. We’ve opened up a whole new world for us.

The Lord did that because He so loved us. And so when He says here in verse six, blessed and holy is He that hath part in the first resurrection. because they get to live with the Lord here for a thousand years, not because of any great thing they did, just because they’re part of this salvation blessing.
