I want you to look at the next to the last line that I have on the back of your page. See there on the next to the last line, the last line, Revelation 1713, Jerusalem, and I put this down, has to become an international city. It has become an international city. I don’t know when, I don’t know how, but cause of what he’s talking about here, if he is the head of this last world government, then it has to become an international city.

Now as time goes on and people live and people die and countries come and countries go and all the rest of it goes on, it has to be where in the last days all these nations will gather themselves against Jerusalem the battle. But when he gathers them together the battle is at the end of the tribulation period and why come here? Well there’s a reason. And I believe the Scriptures are clear. Now not everybody agrees with me that it will become an international city.

But I do believe somewhere along the line this United Nations and United Notions have got to come to the place where how can they guarantee peace in the Middle East? So far they have not been able to come up with any peace in the Middle East because there is no teeth in the United Nations. They can’t enforce anything. Something has to bring these three major religions, if you want to put a tataway, to the peace table. So you’ve got Judaism, you’ve got the religion of Islam, and you’ve got Christianity all claiming this Jerusalem is their Mecca.

It’s where they come from. It’s right there. So how are you going to have all of this take place? And then you’ve got to talk about the temple. They’re already having problems about the mosque over there now. They believe there’s some erosion maybe going on and some of the ground and one of the days they bite them. I am behind Israel, 100% no reservations. I believe God gave them that land and it belongs to them. And I believe that is their temple site.

And I don’t believe it ought to be parted and divided and all the rest of it. But he’s saying this is what’s going to come, is what’s going to take place. Take your Bible and turn to the book of Revelation in chapter 11. Revelation chapter 11. See all these things have to agree and you can get some of the order of what has to take place from the book of Daniel because there’s a lot of symbolism and so forth in the book of Revelation.

But it has to agree with the book of Daniel. So instead of trying to use your imagination, use the scripture and see lo and behold if it doesn’t fit and come out a little bit better. Now look there in chapter 11 of Revelation verse 1. He says, and there was given to me a read, like a toward Rod, and the angels stood saying, rise and measure the temple of God. Wait, wait, wait, wait, what temple? There is no temple.

This is in the tribulation period of the temple that they had. Of course, they had Solomon’s temple, and it was destroyed, and then they came in and built the next temple, and then Herod added to it, So they’ve beautified it, and now it’s called Herod’s Temple, and that was destroyed in 70 AD. So there has been a temple in almost 2,000 years. Now what’s interesting, and I just say just interesting, so from the time that the temple, fall of the temple in 70 AD, 70 years, but it reaches into the church age.

But then whenever you consider the nation of Israel, I have to be out of a land for all those years, come back to the land, become established as a nation. Well, what if you had 70 years from then find they came back and became a nation in 1948 and you had 70 years to that? Or would you come up to? You figured that. I haven’t even added it together. I haven’t even looked at it. But I’ll bet you’re close to where we are today.

Anybody done it yet? So in 1948, 70 years, 70, and they go back from time to their nation, and you put another 70 on 1948, what would you come out with? 2018? You know, that’s pretty close, isn’t it? But it may not have anything to do with anything. You know, I hate these date setters. But there’s always some little desire inside of you that says, I wonder if we can figure this out. I still have it in acquiring mine and I want to know.

So here you have what’s going to happen right here. The tribulation period is coming. It’s the 70th week of Daniel. So what he says here in that middle of chapter 11 of Revelation and verse one and verse two, he talks about, and the Gentiles talks about the 42 months. Now how long is 42 months? It just happens to be three and a half years. So we know that the Antichrist is going to come into the temple that’s got to be rebuilt.

Can you see Israel rebuilding that temple? Start in tomorrow. What do you think that would do with all the Muslims around the world? Now something has to happen. Something. I don’t know what, but something is going to take place. You just remember you heard it here. And you watch and see if somewhere along the line, they don’t talk about having an international city of Jerusalem. It’s the most furthest thing from anybody’s mind, but I thought of this 40-something years ago.

And when I went there, the night before I was with Hank Lindstrom, we went on our first meeting in 1985. So we’re over in Israel. In the night before, I’m thinking, I’m dreaming. I can’t. I was hyper. I was wired. Kind of like what I am now. But when you start talking about prophecy and the Lord coming back and all these things, it just gets you excited about living life. But I laid there that night and I kept dreaming.

And I dreamed that I walked upon the Temple Mount. And there I was and I saw this mosque. I haven’t even been there yet. I didn’t know how it was even laid out. And I could see it. And then I realized it doesn’t have to go there. So I walked and I looked at the Mount of Olives and I looked look where the Eastern Gate is and I kind of lined it up because I believe it has to go and I thought I couldn’t wait to get there.

And I went up on the Temple Mount and I looked at that thing for real the first time. And I walked over and I lined up and I said, this is where it’s got to go. It’s got to go right here. This is where it’s got to go. Does that mean that’s where it’s got to go? Well, of course, because I said so. No, I don’t know. But that’s what I believed. And I believe this temple can go right here.

This is where the temple ought to go and that they were off some and where they put their thing because this is before they believe Abraham was you know offered up his son Isaac and so forth on Mount Moriah. So all these things do get interested but look at the last part of verse 2, shall they tread underfoot 40 and two months? That’s three and one-half years. Now take your Bible and turn to the book of 2 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians and chapter 2.

Second Thessalonians chapter 2 and he’s telling them about this period of time. He’s saying don’t think for a moment that the persecution and the suffering that you are going through now there in Thessalonica is this period of time. He says this period of time right here is not what is the tribulation period as though this day is here it’s not here yet. He says, if somebody writes to you or tells you, this isn’t yet. He says before Christ comes back here, first of all, there has to be a departure and then the man of sin, then the Lord coming back and power and great glory.

So he breaks it down here. He also does the same thing in the book of 1 Thessalonians in chapter 4 and chapter 5. When he talks about we, we and us are the children of the day, the light, and they, them, they are the children of the night. This is day, this is night. This is the day, a different day, a thousand years long. This is a day, two days, two thousand years long. What separates two days? A knight.

This is the knight. This is why the light has gone, darkness has arrived, Satan is ruling, and things are looking bad, and all the promises and pledges, and all the lies that have been told is all going to come down upon this world. And it’ll be the worst period of time the world has ever known. There’s never been a time like it before. So God says he has not appointed us to this knight. We will be taken out. then the tribulation period and then Christ comes back in power and in great glory.

So he says here in verse five, remember ye not that when I was yet with you, I told you these things. Now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. See, he’s coming back, but the Antichrist is going to be revealed. But he says when he goes into the temple and claims himself that he is God That is your clue to get out This is where I believe this woman has going to be riding the beast into the tribulation period the woman rides the beast and The beast hates the woman But for the sake of peace and to get the power it won’t be long before the beast hates the woman and burns her with fire.

Now we know that the anti-Christ is going to do everything in his power to destroy the nation of Israel, to annihilate them. So Israel is the key to this period of time upon the earth. I don’t believe it’s necessarily Rome or some other city or even some other country. I’m talking about just the scriptures themselves using what it says and what it might mean. It doesn’t mean that I’m a hundred percent right. I know that I’m right when it comes to the gospel and how to have eternal life.

And that’s the most important thing. When it comes to prophecy you got to be able to give and take a little bit. Not everybody agrees on everything that deals with prophecy because you’ve got it goes to so many places that get evidence, scriptures, and all scripture has to perfectly dovetail. When it clashes, something’s wrong. Scripture does not contradict itself, and so it could be off just a little bit. So anyway, what I want you to see is right here.

See there in verse 8, and then shall that wicked be revealed whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming. So that means that the Antichrist has to come first. Christ said in the mist of that seven years, in the mist of it. Revelation 11, verse 1 and 2 talks about what’s left was 42 months, three and a half years, three and a half years, Seven years. It’s what God says in the Old Testament concerning my people, Israel and the Holy City.

So the key city in this whole period of time, I believe, is Jerusalem. Now look what else he says here. And why is he coming then? And he’s coming back. And verse 10, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness and then that parish, because they receive not the love of the truth that they might be saved. be saved. For this caused God so sinned them strong delusion that they should believe a lie. Christ says concerning the devil. He is a liar from the beginning.

He is the great lie. Christ is the great truth. He came truth. Satan lied. And people believe the lie because they would not believe the truth. So Jesus is going to come back truth and he’s going to destroy this world system the way it is. And that’s where you have about the Battle of Armageddon. So why the Battle of Armageddon? Because the nations are coming at this one point. Is this place where Christ is coming back? And all these nations are gathered together?

Is it in Rome? In coming to Rome? Is it not coming to China? It’s not Australia. It’s It’s not America. He’s coming back in his field, touched upon the Mount of Olives. Now just so that you see this, look there in Revelation in chapter 16. Revelation chapter 16. And you’ll notice that he says here in verse 16, he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. That’s not in America. That is in Israel. And notice what he says in verse 14, for they are the spirits of devils working miracles which go forth into the kings of the earth and of the whole world to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

So this is talking about all these nations. In Zechariah chapter 14, down through there is talking about and God said, I will gather all these things. nations who come against Jerusalem, the battle. And he keeps talking about this one place. He’s talking about Israel. And when Christ comes back in parent-great glory, He’s talking about Israel. He’s talking about Jerusalem. So I believe that there’s a good possibility that the woman that we find there in the book of Revelation in chapter 17 just could be Roman we’re talking about.

Jerusalem is the great city. Good possibility. Now take your Bible and look here in chapter 17. Revelation chapter 17. You’ll see there’s many things that said about this woman and a lot of people try to figure out just who in the world is the woman. In verse 3, so he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness and I saw a woman set up on a scarlet colored beast full of names, a blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns, all kind of stuff.

Talking about this woman, mystery, battling down in verse 5. And so it’s like, who in the world is this woman? But whoever the woman is, notice what it says about her. You’ll notice what he says there in verse 16, and the ten horns which thou saught upon the beast, thee shall love this woman. No, hate the whore. Look at the world today even. Out of all the nations in the whole world, who is the most hated nation in this world?

The nation of Israel. Coincidence? No, it’s not a coincidence. So is there have there been probably in the last six, seven presidents Have they tried to come up with some kind of a peace treaty in the Middle East? How’s that going? Now something has to happen where they will have a peace treaty. Now when this peace treaty starts, I believe hello and goodbye. We’re going to be taken out of here. Now isn’t it interesting that we’re living at such a time when all these things could fulfilled in our lifetime.

Look at the world situation. Is it getting better or worse? The world is looking for this superman, with superknowledge. Somebody that knows. And you know how gullible the world is for listening to those who give us promises, promises, promises. There’s even some candidates we promise that free, healthcare, free college, free, everything’s free. Hey, I want that. I’ll vote for the person who will give it to me for free. You believe that? The only thing that’s free is eternal life.

And that’s because Christ had enough to pay for it. Who do they think is going to pay for all the stuff that they’re doing? Anyway, don’t give me sidetrack on politics. But now, I want you to look real quick because we’re going to cover this more in detail later. But look there in Revelation in chapter 12, Revelation chapter 12. I can see that I’m not going to be able to finish this today. So we’ll continue it tonight. So Revelation chapter 12, now look at it and it’s talking about a woman here, and there appeared a great wonder in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, moon under her feet and upon her head twelve stars.

So we believe that this is talking about Israel and the twelve tribes and verse three, there appeared another wonder in heaven, behold a great red dragon. You say, who is this red dragon? I knew you’d ask me that. So look down there in verse nine, and the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent called the devil and Satan, which deceived if the whole world, he was cast out into the earth and his angels were cast out with him.

So in verse 3, we know who the devil is. We know who this old dragon is. And he says, having seven heads and ten horns and makes a peace tree with Israel. And Israel, I believe, is going to be duped into believing that lo and behold, the Messiah has finally arrived. And it’s not going to be the Messiah. But he says, if another comes in his own name, him, they will believe. But he makes a statement here in verse 4, and his tale drew the third part of the stars of heaven.

Did cast him down to the earth, and then the dragons stood before the woman, which was ready to be delivered for to devour her son as soon as it was born. You know of any woman that had a son in the devil wanted to kill it? You ever heard of Jesus when he was born, and how that Herod was going to wipe out all the kids two years old and under? coincidence? Is there a possibility? Maybe this is talking about them?

Look what else he says. And verse 5, and she brought forth a man child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron and her child was caught up unto God and to his throne. Any clue yet? Can you see any possibilities that it might be referring to Jesus Christ? And then he says in verse 6, and the woman fled into the Now between verse five and verse six, can you believe 2,000 years passes? Here’s the man child that came.

He was killed, caught up to be with his father. And now he’s talking about the woman that rejected her son is now in the middle of the tribulation period. And she is a wicked, wicked woman. And so he says here in verse 6, and the woman fled into the wilderness where she hath a place prepared of God that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and three score days, which is a total period of three and one half years.

So they make the peace treaty, the devil goes into the temple, claims that he is God, and the Bible says in chapter 24 of Matthew, when Christ is talking to him, he says, when ye therefore shall see the abomination, desolation, spoken of by Daniel the Prophet, stand in the holy place, then ye wish be in Jerusalem, and in the fields, get out and get out quick, and there are to run and hide, and we believe in the place of Petra for three and a half years.

You see, everything has to agree. And as I read and as I study, even after 40 years, I still have not found anything that disproves what I’ve read and what I thought of. Now, that doesn’t mean it’s in concrete, but I hope I stir your memory or your mind a little bit to where you say, you know, I’ve got to study this. I’ve got to look at this. But I do believe that we’re living at a very interesting and exciting time to be alive.

Because if all of this is true, this is close. Wouldn’t you agree to that? It’s just liable to be close. Why? I want you to know, now I talked to Lord this morning. He says it’s going to be two o’clock this afternoon. Are you ready? Here I come ready or not. Now he’s probably gone to call you on your cell phone and says I’m coming, get ready. And we know how we love our cell phones. Rest of this I’ll just cover that tonight.

I thought I could do all this in one class but I is just not gonna work out that way. Look up here. This is important. This is heaven and hell issue. If you don’t believe anything I said about prophecy it’s not gonna change your destination. But if you don’t believe this, you’re in the heap of trouble. This hand represents you and me. And the wallet represents sin. We are sinners. We all sin. And for us to pay for sin is eternal separation from God in a place called hell.

Now God loves us, but He hates our sin. And for us to pay for it is separation. God says to go to heaven, you have to be perfect as righteous as God. And none of us are perfect. None of us are righteous. We’ve all come short of the perfection needed to get into heaven. So God says you can’t earn your way to heaven. No amount of good works. You can’t give enough money to go to heaven. You can’t go to enough churches.

You can’t pray enough prayers to go to heaven. The only thing you can do is one thing. And that’s to believe this good news. We call it the gospel. This hand represents Jesus Christ. He is the Lord God in the flesh. He came into the world because He loves us. Hates our sin because our sin separates us from Him. So Jesus Christ who had no sin did not have to die. So He took all of our sins, paid for it on the cross, came back from the dead and said that if we would believe that He did it for us, He would put this payment to our account and we go to heaven on what Jesus Christ did for us.

Eternal life is the gift of God, not a works list any man should boast. And when you believe it, when you believe that he did it for you, he says these things have I written under you that believe on the name of the Son, in regard that you may know that you have eternal life. Can you know you have eternal life? Can you know that you’re going to heaven before you die? I’m so glad. I wouldn’t want to have to sit there and sweat it out on some judgment day hoping that I came down on the right side.

I took care of that 55 years ago. He said, well, who made you the judge? I’m not a judge. I’m just telling you what the judge said. The judge said that if I would accept Christ as my Savior, I’d go free. And I believe the judge. Well, who’s he? God that created the heavens and the earth. If I can’t trust him, I can’t trust anybody. That’s the best news in all the world. That’s pretty showing. If the heads bow nice and close, no one looking around.

Would you write down the quietness of this moment? Just talk to the Lord and say, Lord, I know I’m the sinner. friend, God says we all are. But I’m a sinner, but I want to go to heaven. And I realize that I cannot save myself. So Lord, I believe that when Christ died, He died for me and I’m going to trust Him as my only hope of having eternal life. And friend, if you will do that, He said He would save you from hell and give you as the free gift everlasting life.

He loves you so much. Would you believe would you trust Him? And if you’ll trust Him right now as your Savior, He said He would save you. From hell, give you eternal life and you can know that you’re going to heaven when you die. I pray that you’ll do just that much. And if you’re making that decision, I’m gonna ask you to raise your hand. Raising your hand doesn’t save you. It just lets me know that what I said made sense to you.

And I’m not gonna embarrass you, and I’m gonna have you forward, but right where you’re sitting? Yes, God bless you, God bless you. Anyone else? Just slip your hand up very quickly and put it right back down. Anyone else before we close? If you trust Christ as your Savior this morning, then God says He saves you right now, gives you eternal life right now. When you get up to leave, you can say, I know I’m going to heaven because today I accepted Christ as my Savior.

He paid for all of my sins. Came back from the dead and I believed that. If you’re watching by internet, right where you are, would you make that decision to trust Christ as your Savior? God said if you’ll trust Him, He’ll save you. And if He will trust the Lord right on the screen and says, Yes, I’ll trust Christ as my Savior. I pray that you’ll let us know. Our Father, we thank You again for Your blessings. Thank You so much for all You’ve done for us.

We ask Your blessings upon each person here and the knowledge that we have that, yes, You’re coming again. And we look forward to that. Lord, there’s so much that we want to know, some things we can’t figure out. But we’re so thankful that the gospel, because it’s free, so easy to understand. And by trusting you as our Savior, you give us eternal life. And we thank you for those that indicated this morning that they would accept that payment you made for them.

And we pray, Lord, that they would get a Bible, read and study it so that you can talk to them, that they would talk to you through prayer. And Father, they would tell somebody else what you did for them, and get into a good Bible believing and teaching church where they can grow and try to send you to pray.
