So the philosophy of communism is going to infiltrate to infiltrate into America. They managed to get enough humanistic philosophers, humanism, taught in our schools, in our universities, and now they run our universities. And they are promoting their philosophy. And it’s a philosophy of communism. But it leads us, first of all, into socialism. So you have the Republican form of government, Democracy, socialism, and communism. And those forms of government never give anybody freedom. It takes it from you. Now notice the next statement.

You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept communism outright, but we’ll keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you’ll finally wake up and find you already have communism. We won’t have to fight you. We’ll sow weak in your economy until you’ll fall like overripe fruit into our hands. Do you think Russia is dead and the war is over? It ain’t. They’ve been waging a war ever since. But it’s infiltrated into our form of government. Till now we’ve got people in America that are dead set on destroying this country.

Now look at the next statement. The United States will eventually fly the communist red flag. The American people will hoist it themselves. You stop and think, you watch some of the riots and so forth and things things that they’re getting. It’s all programmed. It’s planned and they’re doing it. They’re paid in many cases to do some of these things. And they want to burn our flag, pull down our flag. And they also want to destroy our monuments, the Washington Memorial, everything that we’ve got.

Want to blow up Mount Rushmore? Now, this is not your good Christians in America that want to do this. There are people that are bent on destroy in this country and they will keep on. And they’ll have to be the majority. It’s just a handful that will tooth, bow, frogs and a lake and make it sound like a hundred. The next statement, this is what he says, The press is our chief ideological weapon, the press. Do you see why they want to control the press, the news media, and how close they are and all the things that they say and do?

Anyway, I said I had a little news at the end of the other day, and I just had a little statement in there about Donald Trump. And I said Donald Trump made a big mistake because he defeated the Democrats and the lefties and the rhinos and his big mistake, his sin, his crime was he won the election and that is his crime and he cannot get forgiveness for that. There is no forgiveness for that. That’s why he is going to be attacked and attacked and attacked and anything is possible to bring him down.

But I believe some of the decisions he’s made that I am very much in favor of. But anyway, moving right along. Look at the next statement. I can prophesy that your grandchildren in America will live under socialism. How far away do you think we are from being a socialist country? Do you realize how much socialism we have in America? It is. You think you’re free? Start working and just rest in whatever you have made. And you’ll see how free you are.

That home that you got, well it’s paid for, it’s mine. Don’t pay your taxes and see what happens to it. You’ll see who it is. Your taxes right now are higher than the payments you used to be when you used to get it. You know 30, 40, 50 years ago. But anyway, we’re moving right along. Look at the next statement. He made this statement. Whether you like it or not, history is on our side. We will bury you. You know, the dictators get very strong and powerful in their words and what they’re going to do.

This is why we’ve had to maintain our freedom, have a strong military so we can defend ourselves against those who want to destroy our country. I love our freedom. I love our country. I like being able to preach and say what I want to say without persecution. I remember Ray Stanford used to always say, say, I may not agree with what you have to say, but I will fight to death. You’re right to say it. Anybody remember him saying that?

Said it all the time. Well, that’s what he was talking about because I can’t take away your freedom without taking away my freedom. And there’s people in America right now don’t get that. In any way, the next statement, he says freedom in capitalist countries exists only for those who possess money and who consequently hold power. And so some people want to keep on until they have a monopoly. They own and all, they got all the people under their control and they make all the money and there’s people who get in poor and poor and poor because they keep sucking it out.

That’s why we’re not supposed to have monopolies in America. But that’s why you see these companies gather them up and going together in bigger companies and so forth because they can control everything. Anyway, the next thing, but democracy is a government where you can say what you think even if you don’t think. Politicians are the same all over. They promise to build a bridge where there is no river. I like the statement, but I didn’t like the statement. The next statement, I once said, we will bury you and I got into trouble with it.

Of course, we will not bury you with a shovel. Your own working class will bury you. In other words, the people in America will turn on America. People in America will turn on America. And we once they started getting freebies from the government, you can’t stop taking it. You got it. Can’t take it back because they want it and they want more and they want more until the place comes where you got it. See, it’s good when you have a pyramid.

All these people feed into it. And so there’s only a few people getting it. That’s the way it’s supposed to be with Social Security. Remember that little thing that you got had not for identification purposes when you got it 40, 50 years ago? Mine was 60 years ago. So you’ve got this pyramid, but see little by little only a few people getting this a good idea We only have to give a little bit But now this pyramid is like this and now you only got a few people feeding all these people and What’s gonna happen to it?

It’s got to come down. It cannot sustain itself socialism cannot sustain itself Because it only can last until you are out of money When they’ve taken all of you money, now what are they going to do? This is why it’s destroying some of the unions, the people who had pensions, and governments are now in cities are going bankrupt because they can’t pay those big payments that they obligated themselves for because now there’s people on the bottom and not enough of them, they have murdered over 50, 60 million people that would have been in the workforce.

You sow a win, you reap a whirlwind. And this is where we’re headed. Look at that at the bottom. This will knock your socks off. Historians are dangerous and capable of turning everything upside down. They have to be watched. Historians, do we have people right now trying to rewrite our history? You listen to the news, till they don’t like the way it was. They’re like what it represents or change everything. The survivors of a nuclear war would envy the dead.

If you survived, you’d envy the dead. You can take that for it, fourth. This is what he said. He said, I worked at a factory owned by Germans at coal pits owned by Frenchmen, at a chemical plant owned by Belgium. There I discovered something about capitalists. They’re all alike, whatever the nationality, all they wanted from me was the most work for the least money that kept me alive so I became a communist.

I disagree with his philosophy. It’s an opportunity for somebody also to learn and to grow and to do and build whatever he wants to. Because that is the purpose of capitalism. You are able to build whatever you want to build. If there’s no government strain that keeps you from doing something, this is why you want the freedom to protect your family, the freedom to provide for your family, the freedom to worship as you please, you want the freedom and you want a government that’s strong enough to protect the things that you have the right to fulfill.

You see, God is the one who gave us rights. And then the responsibility is to fulfill those rights. So you want their right of freedom to fulfill your God-given responsibilities. Look at the next statement. Now, now some of it I’ll skip comrades. We must abolish the cult of the individual decisively once and for all. Now the words the individual is not important. It’s how you are collectively. In other words, you use all the people as a mass to control to get your will of the small elite who can control the rest.

That’s why you don’t want the people to be too educated. You can control ignorant people, but people who can reason and think and relate and record. late and record those are different kinds of people and they want their freedom and they’re willing to fight for their freedom and die for their freedom and so this is why that is important. Look at the next statement. Donate the bottom says, any fool can start a war and once he’s done so even the wisest of men are helpless to stop it.

Have you ever tried to figure out what would happen if we really tried to take out North Korea and We can’t do it all at one time and they launch a bunch of little nukis right over into Seoul and several millions of people are killed. They’ve almost got us blackmailed because that’s why we can’t do what we really want to do and we should have done maybe long ago stopped. But now you get one country that’ll challenge you. Next thing you know another country will get bold enough like Iran or challenge.

Russia is getting very bold. amazing that we’re living so close to the end times that I believe that what God says is going to happen during the tribulation period. This is one of the most exciting periods of time in all the world to live. But this is why we need to know what we believe and why we believe it. This is why we need to know the word of God, study the word of God, and I believe that God will bless us.

Now this morning I gave out a couple little dilies on PowerPoint but also one little statement that I made was, remember marriage is simple. Your wife does whatever she wants, and you do whatever she wants. And that’s so simple, and you got everything solved. But life isn’t that simple. There’s a lot of complicated things we have to go through in life. And there’s a man by the name of Dr. Thomas Soem, an American intellectual giant, and he made a few statements over the years, and but he made a lot of wise statements.

And when we study the book of proverbs, proverbs is a book of wisdom, a collected say in by Solomon that are very good, very wise. And if you wanna be wise, study the book of proverbs. Und if you wanna learn how to warm your soul, study the book of the Psalms. But if you wanna get some action done and study the book of Acts, that’s what they’re for. But he says, the first lesson of economics is scarcity. There is never enough of anything to satisfy all those who want it.

The first lesson of politics is to disregard the first lesson of economics. Try to figure out how you can just satisfy and people are never satisfied. So you always got to keep giving more and more and more, but you can’t give them anything unless you take it from them first. He made another good statement. People who enjoy meetings should not be in charge of anything. I’ll read that again. People who enjoy meetings should not be in charge of anything because they will schedule meetings just to have a meeting about having another meeting to have a meeting.

I’d like to just get some things done. We have meetings but we don’t enjoy having all the meetings. He says the next time some academics tell you how important diversity is as how many conservatives there are in their sociology department. You hear them talk about free speech, free speech, but not you over there. What you’re Christian. We don’t agree with your philosophy. Therefore, everybody else ought to be able to give their opinion, except you, not you. Anybody else but not you, because theirs is censorship.

That’s why they don’t want, and they’ve even had some people that will be canned as far as being able to speak on Sutton College universities because they’ve been invited, but they’re not uninvited. Well, they’re going to have riots because they don’t want to hear what they have to say. they’re little by little destroyed our country under the guise of free speech, but they won’t let you speak. Too much of what is called education is little more than expensive isolation from reality.

Do you realize that how many people are going to colleges today in universities and learning absolutely nothing? They know nothing about life. They don’t know who they are. They don’t know where they came from and they don’t know where they’re going. The one thing about studying the word of God is you know that there is a God and that God has revealed himself through the scriptures. So we know who we are, we know where we came from, we know what we’re doing, we know where we’re going, we’ve got the answers.

But don’t expect worldly educators and humanist philosophers to be able to teach and educate God’s children. He says, the welfare state is the oldest con game in the world. First you take people’s money away quietly, then you give some of it back to them flamboyantly. You realize what you gave to get that? Remember government can’t give you anything until it takes it from you first. And it always gives you less back than what it took. He said it’s hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions.

then by putting those decisions in the in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong. This is what we have today. We’ve got bureaucrats never voted on, running governments in a lot of agencies. Nobody voted on them, but they’re there and they run it. And there’s no accountability. And they make poor decisions and pay no price for being wrong. Have you seen anything lately about people making wrong decisions and doing all kind of wicked things and they get away with murder, they pay no price for their bad decisions.

You see, we used to have a thing used to call crime does not pay. It does now, but it used not, crime doesn’t pay. Yes. And so a lot of people are paying a great price. He said, I have never understood why is greed to want to keep the money you’ve earned, but not greed to want to take somebody else’s money. What does government trying to do all the time? Buy votes, well they can’t buy votes and let they have money, so they tax you to get more money so they can buy more votes.

But see, if you don’t give it, you’re greedy. But because I want to give it to these people because I want their vote, that’s not greedy. Is she a double standard? It’s exactly what it is, but people can’t catch that. They don’t see it. He says, much of the Western history of the Western world, or social history, over the past three decades has been a history of replacing what worked with what sounded good. Today, they don’t know what will work.

We know what has worked, but we got people who’ve never been educated, who they don’t know the Lord has no wisdom, not sound economics of what God’s Word has said. Why are we trillions of dollars in debt? And if you study the word of God, you’ll find out you’re not supposed to do that. It wasn’t what God told the children of Israel to do. He says, you’re the head. You wag the tail. But today, it’s the tail wag in the dog.

Because he says, you’re a country and you’re the head and you influence the rest of the world. But now, it’s the, it’s your to tail and they’re to head and they are the one calling the shots. That’s why it says it’s about a, a borrow is servant to the lender. You become a slave and America is in some bad shape. Many of the way I thought I would just share that with you. I want you to take your Bible and turn with me to the book of Jonah.

Turn to the book of Jonah in chapter one. And while you’re turning there, hold your place and also turn to the book of Hebrews chapter 10. You can handle this, can’t you? All you need is two fingers. End of the book of Hebrews. Chapter 10 verse 35, they are facing a tremendous storm down in Texas and Louisiana. We almost forgot about some of the rain that we’ve had around here because it pales in comparison to what others are going through.

And there’s been a lot of storms. I remember the first time I decided to go to Florida Bible College and I got bedding the kids in the car and we ran out of money in Orlando, Florida and my brother loaned me $40 to get on down to school. And on the way down, a hurricane was coming in. The devil heard I was going to FBC and going to try to stop me. So he brought this big old hurricane in.

And we was trying to beat the hurricane. I was going 80, 90 miles an hour. The car was pack and it was trying to race in against time. And anyway, the motor run hot and had to pull over his eye and let it cool. Always something happen. Always with something going on. But I got down there and yes, this hurricane hit. So that was my hello. They’re going to college. And we stayed over Dr. Stanford’s house and the wind was blowing and it was coming right through and the eye of the storm came right through Miami.

And so that was my initiation. But you’ll have a lot of storms in life and because now you’re going to college, us older folks we’ve already faced an awful lot of storm but y’all gonna face something too. But you need to know how to face storms. You say what is a storm? A storm is just a big old problem. It’s just another big old Goliath. You’ve heard of David and Goliath? You don’t want him to have all the fun do you.

All Goliath was with us to big old problem, and he had a solution. He had a little low stone. And God used him to take care of that problem. And you’re going to find yourself facing many of these things. But in the midst of storms, it’s so easy to get discouraged, to get down, to lose heart. And it makes it difficult. I’ve had to go through this so many times over and over again, and you think, Well, I’m solid now.

I’ll never get discouraged anymore. And you’d be surprised what can come along and discourage you. Even after all that you know, and all the places you’ve been and what you’ve gone through, you’ve still got to look at it. But look here in Hebrews in chapter 10, looking at verse 35. He says, cast not away therefore, you’re confident. Don’t lose heart. Don’t lose heart. Don’t cast away your confidence, which has great recompense of rewards. See, rewards is what God’s going to give to you because of what you did.

But what you do is the result of your confidence. Don’t lose confidence. And losing confidence, you lost faith in the Lord. Don’t lose your faith in the Lord. Stay strong. Remember, whenever Moses had dropped off the scene and didn’t hear comes along the Joshua and the Lord says, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee. Be strong and very courageous. Didn’t he say that? Be strong and very courageous. In other words, fear not. See, courage is fear that says its prayers and goes ahead.

So there’s going to be things that will cause you to have some fear, but you say your prayer and depend upon the Lord and just keep going ahead. Just never let the devil stop you. Now, I want you to take your Bible and turn back there to the book of Jonah, the book of Jonah, and Jonah in chapter 1, Jonah chapter 1.

There’s a couple things here that I want you to understand. Sometimes God may send you a storm on purpose. Now there’s a lot of problems we had just by the natural process of life, but sometimes God will send you a problem. And remember this, God can send you a problem if If you’re right with him and God can send you a storm, if you’re not right with him, either way you can have storms. Just because you know the Lord loved the Lord and want to serve the Lord with all your heart, doesn’t mean you are exempt from the storms.

You’re gonna have storms, just like lost people have storms. You have all kinds of storms. And so Jonah, did he have a storm? Oh, did he ever. Well look what he says here in verse three. Verse three says, but Jonah rose up to flee on the tarshes. And why was he running from the presence of the Lord? Now where do you think you can run to get away from God? Just where can you go? Let’s see, I can go to Colorado, he ain’t there.

Well, where can I run to? Top is highest mountain, deep is part of the sea. I mean, I don’t care where you go, the Lord’s there. He’s everywhere. So he’s running from the presence of the Lord. Get this. And it went down. Remember, anytime you run from the Lord, what direction you’re going to be going is down. Went down to Jopem. He found a ship going to Tarsus. So he paid the fair and the land those three little words in your Bible, because it’s going to cost you to run from God.

Anytime you run from God, it costs you. And you’re not going to be going up. you’re going to be going down. And he says there, and he paid the further off and went down into it to go with them and detritus from the presence of the Lord. But verse four, and God was looking for him, but didn’t know where he was. He was hiding from God, and God didn’t know where he was, did he? But the Lord sent out a great wind into the sea.

God did this. God sent a man who knew him, a man that he had told as a prophet, go and preach to the Ninevites. And he says, I will not. And he ran. He wasn’t not going to obey the Lord. And so it says here in verse four, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea so that the ship was like to be broken. In other words, understand this. The Lord is able to break up your little world.

whatever you’re trusting in to get you away from the Lord, God can break everything up. He can have your whole life ruined. So always be aware watching out for the storms. You’re going to have the storms of life. Some of you college kids have never been away from home before. You’re going to have little things that might not be that big that might cause your whole world to fall apart and you’re going to suck your thumb and want your mummy.

I hope not. I hope Some of you are growing up, there have been big kids now, but that’s important to remember. I, uh, want to give the gospel. All right, if you’re watching by internet, I’ve been on a treadmill. You ought to come in here and join me sometime. But anyway, if you have never trusted Christ as your Savior, you don’t get to go to heaven. It’s not because you go to church. By the way, that sermon this morning, I think as far as I’m concerned was the best clear gospel message I feel like I have ever preached.

And if you ever wanted to share with somebody, you ought to get a copy of it and share with somebody. And I think we ought to make them for free if somebody will give them away because it is best to clear as much time as I spent trying to make the gospel clear and simple for people to understand. This hand represents you and me and the Waller represents sin. We all have sin on us. God, he hates our sin but he loves us.

Wants us to pay for the sin because the wage is the sin is death and because we’ve all sinned we’re all condemned. So the The wage is a sin is death and that’s why everybody is condemned to hell. But God loves us, wants us to go to heaven and to go to heaven, we have to be perfect, no sin. So we got a problem. How do we get rid of it? God says the only way you can get rid of it, you got to die, you got to die.

The wage is death, you got to die. So you can’t save yourself from this death that leads to eternal separation. You need a Savior. This hand represents Jesus Christ, he’s God in the flesh. He came into the world because he loves us, hates our sin, but he loves us. Our sin separates us from the Lord. So Jesus Christ who had no sin didn’t have to die. So he took all the sin of all the world, paid for it on the cross, came back from the dead, and said, if we would believe he did it for us, he would put this payment to our account, and we’d get to go to heaven on what he did for us.

That’s the best news you can ever hear, because it’s the gift of God. It’s not a word. You cannot buy it. You cannot earn it. You cannot justify yourself by any other way. Christ is the only way, and therefore He says, being justified by faith, we have peace to our Lord Jesus Christ. That’s why it’s so important. If you’ve never trusted Christ as your savior, I pray that you will. Let’s pray, shall we? Every head bowed and every eye closed, and no one looking around.

I don’t want you to trust me, trust the church. Don’t even trust your good works. But will you right now, right where you are? Will you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior? If you will, I’m gonna ask you to raise your hand.

Raise in your hand, doesn’t save you. Just let me know that what I said made sense to you. Say, preach that that made sense to me. And right now I will trust Christ as my Savior. Would you just slip your hand up real quick, put it right back down? You say, yes, I’ll trust Christ as my Savior. Anyone at all? If you’re watching by internet, right on the screen says, yes, I’ll trust Christ as my Savior. pray that you will.

Father, we thank you again for your blessings. Thank you for this new year, new semester, and we thank you for the kids that have come.
