So if God would stand in this pulpit right now with a gift of eternal life in offer to to you and says it’s free. Well, if it’s free and you have it right now, all you have to do is believe me and it’s yours. What I used to do with some of the kids in ranch and I did this and it was so funny, I had a dollar bill. I said, now ask all the kids. I says, whose dollar bill is this?

Yours, and everybody’s in yours. I says, now this dollar bill will now belong to the person that believes it’s theirs. I says, then I point to her, I said, whose dollar bill is this? Yours. I asked another one, I said, whose dollar bill is this? Yours. And finally one kid in the back says, and he got up and he ran all the way up to the front. He says, it’s mine. Now he heard what I said. The rest of them didn’t hear what I said.

This dollar bill belongs to the one that believes it, that it’s theirs. Here’s the free gift of eternal life. Who does it belong to? The one that believes it severses. He that believeth of me hath what? Hath everlasting life. That very moment you believe it, you have it. Not you’re going to get it someday, you have eternal life and you have it right now. Think of your Bible looking Matthew chapter 13. Matthew chapter 13. This is the the verse that they love to use.

And they go to Matthew 13 because it talks about the kingdom of heaven. And this is the statements that was made. Do you think that by having obtained the forgiveness of your past sins by receiving the Lord? And that by means haven’t been born to the kingdom of God, you are already guaranteed the final entrance into the kingdom of heaven as Paul’s gospel implies, even if you live in sin and don’t keep the commandments of love toward God and his neighbor, or is it that finally entering into the kingdom of heaven depends not only on what the Lord did on the cross, but also on what he said, you should do to be saved, and that if you do not practice righteousness, you will be cast into the fiery furnace as the Lord himself and the apostles who were personally taught by him taught.

Who is to be believed then? He says, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net that was cast into the sea and gathered of every kind, which when it was full they drew to shore and sat down and gathered a good into the vessels, but cast the bat away. So shall it be at the end of the world the angel shall come forth and several the wicked from among the just shall cast them into the furnace of fire, there shall be weep in and wail in a gnashing of teeth and so forth.

All right. Is that verse that he’s referring to really referring about how you are supposed to get saved? Well, if you will and just look there in Matthew in chapter 13, I believe that Jesus as the king came to set up his kingdom and he picked his cabinet and then he laid out his constitution in chapter 5 and 7, so on, and said how he’s going to rule his kingdom when he sets up his kingdom. Man sue you. All right.

Give him your coat. Give him two coats. Man slap you in one cheek and give him the other cheek. Why? Because Christ will be here and he’ll deal with it. He says, don’t you worry about it. But that’s not now. You slap me on my cheek. I’m liable to pop you in the mouth. I’m not in that period of time yet. You say, I don’t join the grace? I sure am. I’m going to ask God to give me all the grace I can to hit you just as hard as I possibly can.

Now, here in Matthew chapter 13, I want you to look there where he makes a statement. And just looking verse 24, another parable, but he forth unto them, saying, the kingdom of heaven. Now, every time you see the word kingdom of heaven, it’s a good possibility. He’s referring to that kingdom that the king is going to set up. From heaven on the earth, the king is coming. And Jesus is going to set up his kingdom. And what is he going to be like?

The old thousand year reign upon the earth is described and this is how it’s going to be. And so there’s many illustrations that he gives in all these parables about the kingdom. But anyway, you see there in verse 24, the kingdom of heaven is likened to a man which soeth good seed in his field. But while men slept, his enemies came and so tears among the wheat and went his way. So there are wheat and there are tears. And to many, they may look alike.

So he said, let him both grow together and when he’s time for harvest, then we’ll reap the wheat and put it in the barns and the tears will burn them up. Put him in the fire. He says, but when the blade was sprung up and brought forth through, then appeared the tears also. And the servants of the household came and said to him, sir, this not thou so good seed in thy field, from Winston hath it tears. He said to them, an enemy hath done this, the servants saiduerepregestperial assum without then that we Fle le votresentgagewcsstoreemaleverty Scientodox comprom motions of contem targleth So the wheat with them, in other words, you’re not very good at maybe discernedness, who is a real wheat and who is a real tear?

So the decision is not ours. This does away with the fruit inspectors, but anyway, then you’ll notice in verse 30, let both grow together until the harvest and in the time of harvest, I will say to the reapers, gather you together first the tears, bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn. Now you say, what are the tears and what is the wheat? Well, the scripture will tell you what those really are. Now remember the tear doesn’t have to live a certain way to be a tear.

And the wheat, once it’s born, doesn’t have to do anything to stay a wheat. A wheat is a wheat, a tear is a tear. And some people He says, repudiate. He says, he’s playing holy tears. But the Holy Spirit, like the wind, so’s the seed into the world. You see, once you and I trust Christ as Savior, I have become a wheat. The person who doesn’t trust Christ as Savior is a tear. You say, well, does it say that?

Well, I’m glad you asked. Look what he says there in verse 36. Verse 36. Then Jesus sent the multitude awayhoe and went into the house and his disciples came to him saying, declare unto us the parable of the tears of the field. He answered and said unto them, He that saweth the good seed is the Son of man. The field is the world. The good seed, notice, are the children. The good seed are the children of the kingdom. The tears are the children of the wicked one.

So the one is saved and one is lost. There are those that are the children of God and there’s those that are the children of the devil. And so he says in verse 13, the enemy that sold them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the world and the reapers are the angels. The rapture seed does not take place because angels are doing this. Christ comes in the air for you and I, it’s not the end of the age, it’s not the end of the world, it’s not the great judgment, it’s we are changing a moment, the twinkling of that caught up to meet the Lord in the air.

So ours is totally different, we’re not waiting for the end of it, so that the angel, no, no, no, no, no, the saved are the children of the kingdom and they lost all the tears, the wicked one. Now get this, the enemy have sown them is the devil, the harvest in the end of the world and the reapers of the angels, as therefore the tares, the children that are lost, are gathered and burned in the fire. So shall it be in the end of this world.

The Son of Man shall sin forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom. Now, this is not the out of the church age, out of his kingdom, all things that offend. So during the kingdom, there’s going to be saved law. Now, there’s a lot of similarities, just like when one taken in one left, that seemed like he’s talking about the Rapture, but it’s not in Matthew 24. But the same Prince will happen because one is taken, one is left, but it doesn’t refer to that.

It’s taken in Scripture and making it apply to something. We do that all the time, but it’s not always the best thing to do. What happens? Look there. LookSPARResidents in verse 47. Again, the!.SHIPEva isOSP That was cast into the scene and gathered of every kind. Now the kind of fish. Now there’s some fish they were allowed to eat. There were some kind that they said not to. And there’s trouble on the ground. I can’t see why God would ever outlaw, you know, shrimp and lobster.

But you know in the Old Testament they weren’t supposed to eat some of that stuff. Or even rabbit. I was raised on rabbits too. I’m not Elmer Fudd, but I mean I like rabbits too. My mom had six rabbit boxes of my dad, And we had to go check Rabbit boxes all the time. And that was wonderful trying to catch your rabbit and hold onto a rabbit until you get it back to the house and no back leg just to kick it.

That’s wonderful. I got stories about that, but I’m not going to tell them now. But he makes a statement in verse. in verse 47, and gathered every, which when it was full, they drew the shore and set down and gathered the good into the vessel. So in other words, all the fish that had behaved themselves and were good little fish, they put them into the vessel. And all the fish that were bad little fish, they didn’t behave their mummies and they went astray.

No. You see, It’s the kind of fish. It’s not according to the obedience of the fish. Are you a good fish? Are you a fish? So he says here, see good or bad were not because of how the fish lived, but the type. Believers, unbelievers. There’s a separation. And so he made the statement in verse 14, and shall it be at the end of the world, the angels shall come forth and sever the wicked from them among the just.

Wicked always refers to the lost. Just refers to the believers. So there’s gonna be a division of saved and law, but they’re not just because they lived more righteous than somebody else. And they were not wicked because they lived more wicked than somebody else. They were wicked because they were the tears and the children of the devil and the children of God those who trust Christ the Savior. So the division is always the saved and the lost because they either believed or did not believe in Christ.

What happened to those in verse 50? And shall cast them into the furnace of fire. There shall be wailing in nationality. That’s because they are what they are. They are the children of the devil. You see, now I used to be a child of the devil, but now I am child of God. So it’s a different kind. And so they gathered up all kinds that they’re saved and there’s loss. So there’s no problem with these scriptures until you, if you use the simple verses to explain what seemed to be a complicated verse.

So these verses are not teaching, you’re saved by your works, has nothing to do with that. So you’re always saved by grace. Don’t let anybody tell you any different. Now do I get criticized because I believe this? Yes. So what? I’ve had people said, you know, there’s a lot of people don’t like what you’re saying. I said, the devil doesn’t either. And I don’t mind him not agreeing with me. So I don’t mind if other people don’t agree with me.

Alright, let me move on to another one. The question is is salvation really a gift? As Paul says when he wrote, the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. He says it. He quotes it. I mean, there’s a bell. He knows our position that he doesn’t agree with. Just like when I’ve taught over the years, I’ve taught all kind of, you know, on cult evangelism. I know Mormonism like the Mormons do, and I know Jehovah’s Witnesses teaching just like they do.

But I know their position, but I also know my position. And it’s not the same. Never the two shall meet and things that are different. They’re not the same. So there’s people who know our position and just like Alexander in the scriptures, Paul said, it didn’t mean much damage. And they was able to withstand his words. In other words, to be able to argue with you and you’re like, say, I get in trap and you can’t answer it. Or you say, this is what I believe.

But difficult sometimes to explain what somebody else is saying and counteract them. This is why it’s not always good just to debate everybody. If you want to, go ahead. But you’ll come across some people that can box you and put you in the corner. Because I’ve been set up at times. First time I ever had it happen, two little kids, junior high kids who came to my ranch. First night, two little junior high kids. I’ve graduated. I’m a graduate I is.

And I had my first ranch meeting. We had about three or four of us and we played the guitar with some of the songs and those kids just sitting there looking at us. Only had two. But I opened it up for questions and answers big mistake. After all, what kind of junior high kid do to me? So I said, you got any question you want to ask? I’m just ready for bear. I just graduated from college. I mean, I had all this training.

He says, is God big? I says, yeah, God’s big. He says, can God do anything? I says, God can do anything. He says, can God make a rock? I says, God can make a big rock. He says, can God make a rock so big he can’t lift it? Oh! No, he said me. And at the moment I keep a mental block. And I could not think of how to answer his question. And he made me mad, and if I hadn’t had witnesses, they’re out of choke, the kid.

Not really, not really. But I’ve been looking for him ever since. Because now when he says, can God do anything? No, there’s a lot of things God can’t do. He can’t lie, he can’t steal. He can’t change and he can’t, and he’s not fool enough to try to make a rock so big he can’t lift it because it wouldn’t be any place to put it. Yeah.

So anyway, I never have seen that kid again. But I was a little careful in asking for questions and answers the next time I ran. Anybody got a question on the Bible? Well, how to go to heaven? But anyway, you’ll have some fun like that. So hopefully you will. He says, but anyway, or is salvation as the Lord himself taught the result of hearing his voice and following it my sheep, hearing my voice and I know them and they follow me and I give them to them eternal life.

John chapter 10, looking John chapter 10, John chapter 10. And this verse could give you a little problem because see if I asked you this question and say, now what should answer this for me? You may be able to do it and you may not be able to do it because that doesn’t mean you can answer every question, but you already know and you always believe salvation is free. You do not have to serve the Lord and order to go to heaven.

You know it’s a gift. So whatever it seems like it says, you always fall back the way you know it really is. And you try to see if there’s another explanation you can explain this. And generally there is. Look there in John chapter 10 and look down there in verse 27. My sheep hear my voice. I know them and they follow me. See there? And I give them them eternal life. See there? He gives eternal life to those who follow Him and if you don’t follow Him then you don’t get eternal life.

There it is. Clear as a bell. Right? Right during the Bible. And so that can really cause you, you know, scratch your head a little bit. I hope nobody asked me this question when right in the middle of the ranch or something like that. So on Thursday night, y’all ask Jesse this question, okay? But there’s someValid people who want to just try to trap you, try to make you look bad. Or thinking that they finally got you nailed down and that you can’t answer, you can’t get out of it.

Where’s the loophole out of this? Well, you are in the book of John. This is God’s heaven track. It is a simple book to understand on how to have the free gift of everlasting life. He does talk about he is the shepherd and he lays down his life of the sheep and he says up here in verse 14, I’m the good shepherd and know my sheep and am known of mine and the Lord knows me, I know the Lord.

And then he goes down here and he makes a couple statements that are a little hard to understand but remember this. But remember this, he still has a mixed audience, a mixed multitude that he’s talking to. And some says that he’s mad. See there verse 19, there was a division therefore, again among the Jews for these sayings. Many of them said he is a devil, he hath a devil, he’s mad. Why hear you him? I mean, you’re talking about Jesus Christ, God who made the heavens and the earth, and He’s here talking, did he win everybody?

Sometimes he would speak. Well, those who believed would understand and those who did not believe would not understand it. That’s why he spoke in parables. It’s a way of speaking to a mixed audience that those who want to know truth can get it and those who don’t want to know truth can’t get it. Now we have the Holy Spirit living within us, but here he says, he’s mad. Others in verse 21, these are not the words of him that hath a devil can a devil open the eyes of the blind, so there was a division among the people.

And it was at Jerusalem, the Feast of the Dedication, Hanukkah. And it was winter, and Jesus walked into temple in Solomon’s porch. Then came the Jews around about him and said to him, How long does Thou make us to doubt? If Thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. Now, they really wanted to know the truth. And Jesus said this in verse 25, verse 25. Jesus answered them, I told you and you what? Believed not. In other words, I told you, but you’re not hearing me.

You’re not listening to me. Whenever the book of John starts off, what’s the first way it starts off? In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. The same was made flesh and he became tabernacle among us. The word was Jesus Christ. The word. And as you go through, now take your Bible and look in the book of John chapter 5 and verse 24. John 5, 24, generally in the book, sometimes it’s within a few verses of a scripture that you’re having trouble sometimes it’s in a chapter, sometimes it’s in the whole book.

But now notice here in John chapter 5 and look in verse 24. Verily, verily, verse 24. Verily, verily, I say unto you. He that, see those three words? Heareth my word. Heareth my words. I mean, do you hear my voice? Do you hear what I’m saying? You see, if you want to go to heaven, you have to do what he said, do. What did Jesus say, do? Well, look what he says here. believe it on him that sent me half present and half what?

Ever last, that’s what he said. Did you hear what I said? And he said, my sheep are those who heard my voice. They hear my voice. They hear it and he says, I told you and you will not believe. So those who believe or those who hear his voice and those who do not believe or those who will not hear him. They will not listen to what he said. So why you’re right here. Look what he says in verse 39.

John said, five verse 39. Search the Scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life but they’re which testify of me and you get this will not come to me that you might have what? He says, tell us plainly says I then told you but you will not listen you will not hear. He that believeth of me, hath everlasting life. So if you hear it, you’re listening to the word. Follow what the word told you to do. What did the word tell me to do to go to heaven?

Believe on Jesus Christ. And he says, and these are the one he says in verse 29, and I give unto them eternal life. Who does he give eternal life to? Those who have to live a certain way or those who heard what he said and believe it. You see, it’s always clears up when they’ve used clear understanding of what salvation really is and don’t let verses that seems to say, so bog your mind and give them as like they got some credibility to them.

No, they don’t. Just hang with what the word of God says. And I guess Wednesday I will cover a few more this year because I got on a lot of things to share, but you’ll learn a lot of things if you just listen to what the Bible says. And when people say that, but the Bible says this and the Bible says that it may say that. But let’s find out what he’s talking about. You’ll find out that maybe they pulled it out of its out of its out of its.

So anyway, look up here. If you want to go to heaven whenever you die, if you’re watching by the internet tonight, and you’re not certain of how to go to heaven. This is how simple it is. Now this end right here represent you and me. The wallet represents everything we do at Strong. Sin. We are all sinners. We’ve all done things that we should not have done. Because of sin… The wages of sin, the pay for what we’ve done is eternal separation from God in hell.

But God loves us and wants us to go to heaven. And to go to heaven where you have to be perfect, no sin. That eliminates everybody because nobody’s perfect. I’m not, and I’m sure you’re not. And so God says you cannot save yourself. You cannot earn your way to heaven by your good deeds because God says there’s none good, no not one. This hand represents Jesus Christ. He’s the Lord God in the flesh. He came into the world because he loves us, hates our sin because our sin separates us from him.

So Jesus Christ who had no sin didn’t have to die. So he took all the sin of all the world, paid for it on the cross. Now who did he die for? Everybody. How many sins? All of them. And he came back from the dead, said, now the only thing he wanted us to do in order to go to heaven is it. He wants us to believe that He did it for us. So if you hear it and you understand what should be the result of you hearing it, believe in it.

So if you believe it that He paid for my sins, then you’ll know. I don’t have any sins to pay for it because He paid for my sins. Why am I going to heaven? Because Christ died and paid for my sins. Why did He do that? Because He didn’t want me to do it. So He gives me as a free gift eternal life. He says, when you believe it, You have everlasting life. Now, if I got everlasting life and all my sins are paid, where am I going when I die?

The heaven. So can I know that before I die? Well, of course. So it has nothing to do with me earning it and going to church and reading the Bible and pray. All those are nice things, but they don’t get you to heaven. Going to heaven is the gift of God. It’s free. It’s not a more exciting image, it’s the most. Let’s pray, shall we? We had bow and eyes closed, and no one looking around in. If you’re watching by internet, this goes for you too.

I’m not gonna ask you to come forward, that’s for sure. I’m not gonna ask you to sign a card. Wouldn’t that be funny? I’m not asking you to give anything. How you gonna do it? See right where you are, all you need to do is believe that when Christ died, He died for you, and He paid for all of your sins. And the only thing you have to do is believe He did it for you. And when you believe it, He gives you as a free gift ever lasting life, and He said He’d never cast you out and never lose you.

But if you’re in the auditorium tonight and maybe you have never trusted Christ as your Savior, you’ve heard about it, but never have, why not write down the quietness of this moment? Just say something simple like this. Lord, I don’t understand at all. I got questions. Maybe I have a few doubts, but you can trust the Lord with those. The only thing you need to know right now is that you’re a center that he loves you, that he paid for your sins, that he came back from the dead and he wants to He gave you eternal life as a gift.

And He wants you to believe that what He did, He did it for you. I’m going to ask you in just a moment to raise your hand. Raising your hand doesn’t save you. It just lets me know that you say, yes, I believe He did it for me. I believe He did it for me. If you’ve never done it before and you say yes tonight, I will accept Christ as my Savior. I believe He did it for me. Then God said He will give you a free gift right now, everlasting life.

So when you get up to leave, you can say, I know I’m going to have Him because tonight I trust the Christ as my Savior. With his bound eyes closed, is there anyone at all? Very quickly, just slip in it, very quickly and say, yes, pray for me, I’ll trust Christ as my Savior tonight. Is there anyone at all? If you’ve never done it before, would you do it right now? Then what at all? Our Father, we thank You again for Your blessings.

Thank You for all You’ve done for us. Thank You for the free gift of everlasting life. We pray, Lord, that the time that we spend explaining these things, and that people listen, whether on radio or television or here at the church, that will really make an impact in people’s lives, that they’ll understand the clarity of the gospel, defend the gospel, and share it.
