What’s going to happen to me when I die? I believe in hell because God says it exists and Jesus spoke about it more than He did about heaven. And he says, it’s a literal place and it’s eternal punishment. It’s not a place that I would want to go to. But you see, some people, they want to witness, but they want to shy away from the subject of hell. Now, just about every time whenever I do the wall of illustration, I always say, and the wages of sin is death.

Eternal separation from a literal fire burning hell. You ever hear me say that? Because see, if there is no hell, there’s no need of a Savior. Why do I need a Savior to keep me from going to a place that don’t exist? There must be a hell. That’s why I need a Savior. And so it is very important to cover this. Look at number seven. I’ve had people say, well, I just can’t believe that God would ever send His children to hell.

I agree with you. God has never and never will send any of his children to hell. But in the book of Romans in chapter 9 and verse 8, they that are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God. Not everybody in the world is a child of God. And sometimes you’ll hear people talk about, you know, we’re all the children of God. I’ve heard Hannity say that. I’ve heard O’Reilly say that. We’re all the children of God.

No, we’re not. You’re a child of God if you trust crisis your Savior. And if you’ve never trusted Christ as your Savior, you’re not a child of God. And God is not your Father. He’s your Father if He fathered you. He is my Creator, but when I trusted Him as my Savior, He gave me a new birth and a new birth without a sinful nature. So my new birth doesn’t have a sinful nature. That’s why it doesn’t sin if it doesn’t sin it doesn’t die.

It doesn’t die. doesn’t die, it lives forever. My new birth is born of God. I still got so fresh birth I’ve been dragging around for 75 years now. One of these days I’m gonna just leave it someplace and y’all can have it, y’all can have it. But the statement there, you are so right. None of his children will ever be cast into hell. Now many of these points down through here, you’re gonna read those and study those on your own because you need to figure out how to answer these objections because it could mean the difference between heaven and hell for a person who can you can remove that obstacle out of their way.

Remember, people are blind and some of these things cause them to have a blind spot. They don’t see the truth of the gospel because of this problem and so what you want to try to do is remove that obstacle. Now look down at number eight. What about all the hypocrites in the church? Boy do I get this one. Well I always say we have room for one more, but I don’t tell them that. I think that. No. And so if you’ll look there at the one little statement, I’ll be the first to agree that there are hypocrites in the church, and there are hypocrites where you work.

And there’s hypocrites at the restaurant, there’s hypocrites at the gas station, and the grocery store, and the neighbors, and maybe where you live. So if you don’t want to be a hypocrite, you’re not going to go there either, are you? Ch-ch-ch-ch. But you’re doing it in a nice way. You have to figure out how to do it. See, a good politician is somebody that can stomp on your shoes and take off the shine and then have you thank him for it.

They’re that good. They can walk all over you and you’ll thank them for walking all over you. Now you want to be wise, you don’t want to hurt somebody, you don’t people to reject the truth of the gospel because you’re sarcastic with them, or you’re just argumentative, or just mean and ugly. It doesn’t cost but an extra quarter to be extra kind and sweet and nice and loving and all that. That’s part of so many. You want to win them not to become a barrier where you don’t get the gospel.

You might get it out, but you don’t get it across. And there’s a difference. So down at the bottom of the page, right at the very bottom of the page, be careful in allowing this type of question to cause you to attack the person. You’re trying to recognize it as a diversionary tactic you may not wish to pursue. In other words, there’s hypocrites. Well, let me tell you, and you can go, you know, that’s true, I agree with you.

But let me talk to you about going to heaven. You know, there’s no hypocrites in heaven. There’s no liars in heaven. Because see, when we get to heaven, God says he’ll make us perfect. And everything’s gonna be wonderful in heaven. There’s no more sin, there’s no sorrow, no, say you just got rot away from it, you don’t have to dwell on it. don’t always feel like you have to answer every question. Now, if it becomes critical and they wanna hang on that, and not gonna move on until you answer that question, answer the best way you can’t and get off of it, all right?

Number nine, the gospel doesn’t sound reasonable to me. And there’s a lot of things. Well, no, this place called hell, that doesn’t sound reasonable to me. Nothing sounds reasonable to me. This whole thing about, oh, I gotta do it believe. You gotta be more than that, that’s just not reasonable. What you mean is, is this sound too good to be true? Think about it, you can go to heaven for all eternity, eternal joy and bliss and pleasures forevermore. That sounds too good to be true.

Now I can see why a person would think, that’s just unreasonable. But let me tell you this, what seems unreasonable to me is that somebody would love me that much that he would send his son into the world, the down that cross pay for all of my sins and give me as a free gift everlasting life. That is what blows my mind. So you see, you don’t have to put him down but you can try to explain it a different way and I think it will help them.

Now you know the natural man received if not the things of the Spirit of God for their foolishness unto him. Neither can he know them or understand because these things of God are see spiritually discerned and they don’t have the Spirit. And the Bible says also that the preaching of the cross is foolishness to them which don’t believe, that believe not. This is why you need to believe all these things that you’re supposed to believe but you can’t make that person see.

You cannot make a blind man see and don’t mock him for being blind. The only thing that helps them to see is the truth of the gospel. And that’s why you explain it over and over and over again if you have to, because that helps them to see what God is really like. Because you’d be surprised how many people have false ideas about the image of God. They think he’s just maybe a big old mean God that got up on the wrong side of the bed and he’s got it in for me today.

I mean, God got out of bed and he He looked over the banister and he looked down here, and he saw me and said, I’m going to get you today. And you think God just out to get you. And he’s a bad God. And look at all the problems in the world. It was a good God, look at all the bad stuff. And they got reasons and the devil is also working behind the scenes. And so you’re trying to let them see how much God loves them.

Remember, God wants to love them through you. So the way you do it is not just the message, as Paul says in the book of Thessalonians and chapter 2, it’s delivering your very soul, your feelings, your compassion, been able to be understood. Look at number 10. Number 10 is a very good one. This bothered me for so long. I mean for so long it bothered me. What about the heathen? What about the heathen? You know, all those people in Africa, there was always in Africa.

I don’t know why all the heathenes lived in Africa. But you know, whenever God made that promise to Abraham, that God preached before him, that heathen would be justified by faith, well at that time they were not like Gentiles and Jews. And that was way on down the line. Everybody was a heathen. That means without God. And so there’s a lot of people that are without God. And so people always want to know, well, what about those people that have never heard?

That’s one of the reasons, ma’am, sir, I’m telling you that very question cares my heart years ago. And I thought about what about the people that have never heard. And because God loves you. and I know he loves you because he told me so in his word, he told me to tell you how much he loves you. And so you don’t have to get into all of this. Just get it back to the love of God and what God wants him to know and what God is.

And you can say certain things like in the next statement, if they percip, God is a righteous judge and God cannot do wrong. If a person does go to hell, it’ll be right because God can’t sin, God can’t do wrong. And you already mentioned and you know that none of God’s children will ever go to hell. But look up there at that little statement right under number 10, that little section right there. That’s a good question and I’m sure you have some good thoughts about it.

When you get through with the main point that I was making, if you will remind me, I will be glad to try and answer that for you. Since you told me that you are not certain of going to heaven, my main concern right now is how you can know that you have eternal life. So for right now, let’s just set this aside about where other people are going to go or not. Let’s just talk about you for a moment, because you are more important to me right now.

And then if they trust the Lord, they may be the one that’s going to become a missionary someday, and they’ll go to that very place. Look down at the next statement when he talks about in Romans chapter 1 verse 20, there’s a sin bold, they are without excuse. Now you know this, you may not share all of this with them, I’ll depend on how much time you have, how much you need to explain and then move right along, and then the next scripture, Romans chapter 3 verse 19, all the world may become guilty before God, so because of whoever it is, wherever they may be, if they’re guilty means that they have sinned against God and because they’ve sinned against God, the wages of sin is death.

Number 11, number 11, how about all the other world religions, all these other religions? Remember this in this, that first little statement under that little paragraph there, religion, since it doesn’t guarantee anything, it’s not worth anything. The main difference between Christianity and religions of the world, religions of the world cannot guarantee you anything because it depends upon you and your works. Christianity depends upon Christ and can be guaranteed. No religion can guarantee you how it’s going to be because they have no power.

Because the truth of the gospel is always in Christianity because Christ came back from the dead and all of your religious leaders are all dead so they can’t do thing for you and it’s always based upon your works and how you live but the truth is a man is saved by grace and grace alone by trusting Christ and him is your only hope of going to heaven. So look at the next statement what I’m sharing with you is Christianity.

God looking at us loving us in spite of what we say or do. I have done it all for you. It’s all finished. This is not a religion and we also teaching classes. Religion comes from too Latin word re and leggy you meaning to bind back. There’s people who are trying to teach religions of the world trying to get to bind you back to God by your works. In other words offering your good deeds to God and God does not want your good works.

He says all of your good works are his filthy rags but he does say this instead of us trying to offer God our good works. He says, I have my righteousness that I’m sending down. And so you and I, all we have to do is accept what God has done for us. It’s His righteousness that’s given to us. And so that’s the different between Christianity and the religions of the world. Religions can’t save Christianity. The truth of Christianity, the truth of the gospel, you’re saved by grace and and therefore it can be guaranteed because it totally depends upon God.

If you depend it upon your good works, you can’t guarantee anything. You don’t have the power to do it. So that’s number 11. We are now on number 12. Number 12. The top of page. I’ve had people say, I want to wait on my mate. It means that I got to know whether or not if my husband is going to heaven or hell. And I don’t want to go where, if he’s not going to be there, I don’t want to, you know, go to the other plate.

I believe it or not, I actually did. I led a lady to the Lord in the office. And she was so glad, so thrilled. She had heard me on the radio broadcast so she came and wanted to know how to be saved. I talked to scripture, explained it to her, and she was so excited. And I says, now you’re married, right? She says, yes I am. I says, now when can I talk to your husband? She says, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

I don’t want you talking to him. I says, what? She says, I want that man to go to hell. And she was adamant about that. Now you’re not supposed to have that kind of a feeling after you trust the Lord. Generally you want to reach those in your family, your husband, your wife, or your kids, and so forth like that. And she says, absolutely not. And so I had to talk to her a while. And so finally, I kind of calmed down a little bit and everything was okay.

But I never did see her again nor her husband. So was she still saved though? If she trusts the Lord, she still saved. But you want to reach others that are supposed to be in your family. So at the top of the page there, what is the best way to respond when sharing the gospel with a husband or wife without the other partner present. If he or she says, I want to wait on my mate to see, I’ll make this decision with him or her.

And I’ve had people, sometimes they’ll do that. And I thought, man, you’re not getting this. This is important. I mean, you can die at any time. And I totally went man one time. I says, does it make sense? Yes, it does. It makes sense. You understand what I’m saying? Yes, I do. Well, you right now, Now, will you trust Christ as your Savior? Well, not right now.

I said, do you understand what I’m saying? Yeah, I understand perfectly what you’re saying. It’s the free gift and all I have to do is accept it. I said, well, would you trust Christ as Savior? He said, no, no, no, not right now. He said, I want to think about this for a while. Well, I want to do this not. I said, would you do me a favor? He said, sure. I said, don’t die.

He looked at me and talked to his head. He said, would you say, I said, don’t die. He said, well, I can’t control that. I said, I know. Isn’t it stupid to wait on trusting Lord when you don’t know if you’re going to live or die? Anyway, that guy, I didn’t get him. And then there’s other ones I’ve had, I see what you’re saying. But look at this little statements here. Any person can have a much more positive impact on another person in spiritual things when they They themselves have trusted Christ or having turned a life.

A Christian mate has much more ability to influence his partner for the Lord than one who is not a Christian. I encourage you to make your decision now to trust Christ and allow God to use you to help when you’re mate. So if I can talk to him and you’ve trusted Christ, your savior might cause him to trust the Lord also and I’ve had a lot of that. And sometimes it works. And then sometimes, you know, you talk to the one and they just, well, I’m just going to wait.

And you can’t make them. Don’t force a no answer. It’s better not to get the no answer. If you don’t believe they’re ready and they don’t understand it, if they say it’s not going to trust Christ right now, let it go. Because if you keep hammering, they say yes, and they don’t really mean yes. You may get a yes answer, but they are of these opinions still. that mind has been changed. And then they just put you off and just to get rid of you.

And then next time they see you coming, they’re going to run. So they don’t want you to talk to them again. You can talk to some people, nice and friendly and kind. And it’ll be great. Next time they see you, they’re fine. But if you hammered them the last time and you shamed them the last time, or you were too hard and heavy the last time, next time they see you, they want to get away. So let you know that.

Look at the next statement. Each person without Christ will stand alone before God at the great white throne judgment. To give account of your own decision, I would underline this statement here. We won’t be judged as a pair. And no one can say when the accounting will take place, you have heard the gospel now and are without excuse. In other words, being petty, we both have trusted Christ as our Savior. But when the Bible says, every man shall give an account of himself to God.

She’s got to give account of herself. I got to give account of myself. And we probably will not be doing it together. It’s an individual thing. The Bible also says in 2 Corinthians chapter 6, now is the accepted time behold, now is the day of salvation. Because now is the only time you really have. You don’t have tomorrow because tomorrow ain’t here yet. All you got is now. And wouldn’t it be a shame to reject the free gift of everlasting life, spend an eternity in hell and you’re just, well I was going to do it tomorrow.

Or I put it off. Have you ever heard this statement, the road to hell is paid with good intentions? They’re always intending to. I’ve had people say, well, they’re in, I’m intending to. They’re intending to get saved. If you really understand, if I can’t say, there’s no reason to put it off. There is no good reason to put off salvation. Number 13, down at the bottom, when presenting the gospel to a person who’s made has already died, they may say, I don’t want to go to heaven unless my partner is there.

How might you respond? Well, it’s not really that difficult because you never know if the mate has already trust the Lord or not at some time in their life. It says you don’t know for certain that they did trust the Lord or didn’t trust the Lord because you’re not God. They can trust the Lord and never say anything. And if that’s the case, wherever they are, they want you to be in heaven. Wouldn’t it be a shame to die and get to heaven and find out that they are there or they’re not there?

Or would it be better to go to hell and find out that they are there or not there, which would be the best? You see, wherever that mate is, they want you to be in heaven and you can read that in Luke chapter 16 because the man that died and went to hell he was asking Abraham to send laughs if they he may dip the tip of his finger and water and cool my tongue for him tormented in this flame and when he found that wouldn’t work he says can you send him to my house I’ve got five brothers lest they come to this state of mind this place of torment and there is a literal fire burning hell.

So look at the third little statement down here, which would be worse. To go to heaven and find that he or she is not there or to go to hell and find that she’s not there or she is there. Wouldn’t you be better since you don’t know where she is? Wouldn’t be better to go to heaven or chance she’s there or he’s there. But if you don’t and you wind up rejecting Christ as Savior and you go to hell and find out she wasn’t here after all.

Wouldn’t that be a shame? I’m going to hell because I want to be with my husband or my wife. What do you think you’re going to do? Eric conditioned to place and skate around the ice right after you took up a fundraiser. Don’t want to do that. It would be a Baptist church. So you have to start a Baptist church while you’re down there. The last statement, all of us are born alone and all of us will die alone.

We stand as individuals before God so that every one of us shall give a count of himself to God. Does God know how lonely people are in this life? You are born alone and most people they live alone. You can be married and live alone. You can have a job where you’re on the job and there’s a thousand people there and you can be alone. You can come to church and the church can be packed and you’re still living alone.

Because you see you don’t know how to end or mingle with people. You don’t get involved in anybody’s life. You can be a loner. But sooner or later you’re gonna have to stand before God alone. Wouldn’t it be better to just do everything you possibly can to when people to Christ? Lot of lonely people in this world. And most people remember this, God meant us for Him. And when we’re not with the Lord, that’s why we can become so lonely.

So God can cure that loneliness problem by being the closest friend that you’ve ever had. And there is no friend that sticketh closer than a brother than a person that will die for you. Christ died for us to give us this free gift of everlasting life. Look up here. This end represent you and me and the wallet represents sin. We all have sin on us. And the Bible teaches us that the wages of sin is death, since we have all sinned.

Well, we’re all condemned so we have to pay for rights. That’s in eternity separated from God in a literal fire burning hell. But God loves us, wants us to go to heaven. To go to heaven you have to be perfect as righteous as God. And none of us are perfect, none of us are righteous. We have all come short of God’s perfection. So God says you cannot save yourself. This sin represents Jesus Christ. He’s the Lord God and the flesh.

He came into this world, lived a perfect life, had no sin. He didn’t have to die, but because He loved us. And God the Father wanted His Son to show His love for His Father by taking the sins of the world. So Jesus says that the world may know that I love the Father. I’m going to do this. So He took the sins of the whole world, died on the cross, came back from the dead, and said that all we have to do, the only thing we can do, because works cannot enter into this.

How you live, don’t live, has nothing to do with this. The only thing you can do to go to heaven is believe He did this for you. When you believe it, He puts this payment to your account. I have a payment for all my sins, so I have no sins to pay for. He did this so that I wouldn’t have to. He gives me eternal life as a free gift, and I get to go to heaven on what Christ did for me.

He gets all the honor, all the glory, and all the praise, because no man, as He says in Ephesians 2, 8, and 9, Not if works lest any man should boast. Christ saved us by grace. Let’s pray, shall we? With his bow and eye of clothes, no one looking around. If you’re watching by internet, or if you’re here in the auditorium, if you’ve never trusted Christ as your Savior, would you trust Him right now? Would you understand simply God loves you, paid for your sin?

Came back from the dead. And all he wanted you to do was believe he did it for you. And if you’ve never done so, would you trust him right now? And if you’ll trust him, God said he would save you, give eternal life. And the only thing you had to do was believe it. Would you believe it? If you’re making that decision, I’m not going to have you forward, not going to embarrass you. But right where you’re sitting, would you say, yes, I’ll trust Christ as my Savior.

Just let me know by an uplifted hand, just put it up very quickly and we’re gonna back down and we’re gone. If you’re watching by internet right on the screen says yes I’ll trust Christ as my Savior if you’ve never done so would you do it right now I pray that you will. Father we thank you again for watching over us for blessing us and being all of our needs and Father you have truly met all of our needs our greatest needs with salvation because when we leave this whole world we got us a new home a new body new friends and an An opportunity to live forever in eternal bliss.
