If you have ever been to Israel Or listen to the nation of Israel. They have stated many, many times that what happened because of Hitler’s trying to exterminate the Jewish people. It breaks your heart when you know that it will happen again. They say it never again, never again. I have been to the museum on a number of occasions. If there’s one place that I could spend, I guess, a week just reading all the comments, watching the videos, it would be the Holocaust Museum.

I enjoy going all over the land of Israel, but I realize that all that’s happened to Israel is because they have forgotten their God. They’re some who believe in God, and they talk about if you’re listening closely, you can hear the footsteps of the Messiah, but they don’t believe He’s ever come yet. So they do not, as a nation, believe in Jesus Christ. And that can break your heart because we sometimes can’t see why they can’t see. But it’s like there’s a veil that’s over their face.

not that Jewish people can’t be saved because they can be. J is a Jew, he’s trusted the Lord. The Apostle Paul was a Jew. The disciples were Jews. Jesus was a Jew. Our scriptures is from the Jewish people. So yes, multitudes of Jews have been saved, but as a nation they have rejected the Lord. And so in reading meaning of the statements that are on the walls of people who have lived back in that time, what they kept in memory and what they’ve written is on all these walls and it takes a while to get through it.

I cannot go through it without weaving. I cannot hardly stand it. I just have to stand to the side and just try to catch my breath. Believe in how insane it is for people to even treat other people like this. To an elven to gas chambers and all the little children that they would just murder. And people that they would have lined up with a big old ditch on the other side of them and they’d just gun them down and they’d just fall into the ditch and bring some more of them to it again.

And you can see them falling into the ditch, videos of it. And yet we have a few nuts in America that don’t believe it ever happened and that it was real. They’ve lost their helmet. I wrote a little statement here. They were kept as deceived as possible until the very moment they would be killed. Not all believed and understood what was happening to them. And it was so bad. He was starving them to death. And again, having walked through snow, totally naked, freezing to death.

And all of this because there’s people who just hate the Jew. Well, remember they made a statement. Let his blood be upon us and upon our children. That’s what they said when… He asked him, well, what should I do with this Jesus? Crucify Him. Crucify Him. Let His blood be upon us and our children. For 2,000 years, that’s the way it’s been. And now that they are living in prosperity, Israel is prospered as no other nation is prospering. And that is the truth.

And because of the iron dome, they feel very secure. But now they’re being deceived by their prosperity. And it says, never again. It’ll never happen again. Israel will never let this happen again by which the nations of the world are going to gather together and now lay to Jew. It’ll never happen again. And yet they don’t know the Scriptures. I hated to read some of those Scriptures even while I was there, but I did so. I want you to turn very quickly to the book of Numbers in chapter 13.

The book of Numbers in chapter 13. Remember, they had left Egypt and after so many months they had got to a place called Kedishparnia. That was only a place that was 11 miles, or not 11, 11 days from the Holy Land. And they’re marching through the wilderness with about two million people. And so he says there in chapter 13 of Numbers, it makes a statement in verse 26, and they went and came to Moses and to Aaron and to all the congregation of the children of Israel unto the wilderness of Paran to Kedish and brought back word unto them and unto all the congregation and show them the the fruit of the land.

They sinned in 12 spies. Ten of them came back with a bad report. And they said, surely the land flows with milk and honey, just like God said. But there’s giants in the land. There’s the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Jebusites and all these people that are in the land. So he says in verse 27, and they told him and said, we He came into the land with a thou sinnest earth, and surely it floweth with milk and honey, and this is the fruit of it.

And it took two people to carry one big old cluster of grapes on a big old pole between their shoulders.” He says in verse 28, “… nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled and very great, and moreover we saw the children of Aenek there. The Amalekites dwelt in the land of the south, and the Hittites and the Jebusites and the Amorites dwelt in the mountains. and they came to nice to all by the sea and by the coast of Jordan.

And Caleb still the people before Moses said, let us go up at once and possess it, for we are well able to overcome it. He believed what God said. And so did Joshua, two against ten. So the other ten brought such fear into the congregation of Israel. And because they said that we are like grasshoppers in their sights and their giants and so for them and they could not do it. So now chapter 14, and it says in verse 1, and all the congregation lifted up their voice and cried in the people with that night, and all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, and the whole congregation said unto them, would God that we had died in the land of Egypt?

Or would God we had died in this wilderness? they got their choice, didn’t they? God let them all die in the wilderness. That’s what they want. They could have been in the land in 11 days, but instead they wondered in the wilderness for 40 years and died. But Joshua and Caleb lived and got to go into the promised land. See, some people suffered because of the disbelief of God’s people, and it didn’t have to be like that. They could have been there 40 years before, but unbelief cost them.

Now, look at the next statement here in your notes. Why has Israel suffered so? They forsook God and his son Jesus Christ. They could have been enjoying the blessed kingdom had they accepted the Messiah as their Savior King when Christ came, when He came. He had promised the Kingdom to the nation of Israel and they could have set up that Kingdom. They could have been living in it for two thousand years but no, they’re unbelief. See back there they didn’t believe that God could give them victory.

Now here’s Jesus Christ the Son of God. Now He’s here. And they didn’t believe him. They wished not who he was. They knew not the day of God’s visitation. When God visited the earth, take your Bible and look in Matthew 23. Matthew chapter 23, there’s really nothing exciting about the notes that I have though were mine and I thought I’ll just go ahead and make you a copy of them. In case I don’t get through it, you’ll have a copy of it anyway.

I mean they’re not super duper. These are not worth a thousand. thousand dollars, maybe five hundred, but not a thousand. But in the book of Matthew, chapter 23, look there in verse 34, this is what Jesus said to them, wherefore behold I send unto you prophets, wise men, scribes, some of them ye shall kill and crucify. Some of them shall you scourge in your synagogues and persecute them from city to city, that upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth from the blood of righteous able unto the blood of Zachariah, son of Barakiah, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar, and verily I send you all these things shall come upon this generation, that generation he was talking to.

Because of your rebellion, I’m going to have the temple destroyed, not one stone left upon top of another, and we were just there, it’s all gone. There’s a wall, but there’s no temple standing. And he makes his statement in verse 37, O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killst the prophets and stoneth them which are sinned in the thee. How often would I have gathered thy children together, even as aQuote, as a hymn gathered her chickens under her wings and you would not.

In other words, this isnthe way it had to be. God did not always get what he wanted. God may want you to trust him as your Savior, but you don’t have to trust them. It’s safe. You can defy God, but there’s a consequence. You may know Christ is your Savior and defy the will of God for your life. Now, the consequences, don’t blame God for that because of your own disobedience to the Lord. You can do whatever you want.

People can defy God, and many of them do. And then there’s a price to pay. consequences. So he says, how often I would have gathered you together as a hen gathers your chick and he said, and you would not, you would not. Not that you could not, you wouldn’t. So he says, behold your house is left under your desolate. But I say unto you, you shall not see me, henceforth till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord, he’s coming back.

He’s going to come back. And one day when he comes back, they will say, where did you get the wounds entering your hands. Zach Gariah chapter 13, he says, in the house of my friends, but I want to show you some of these things. Look in chapter 24 of the book of Matthew. Matthew chapter 24 and you’ll notice that there’s some things that God has said here. This is why this is so important. What they say, never again. God says, yes it will be againmyra rebelled against God, were scattered upon the face of the earth and he says they’re going to come back to the land and they have and they’re back in unbelief and because they’re back in unbelief even though they have made the desert blossom as a rose it’s all temporary.

Bond in the Old Testament book of Isaiah, yes, that’s going to blossom his robe, but that referring to another period of time yet in the future. Israel is not back in the land to stay. Israel’s worst days are ahead of them because the Bible says and describes that in the last days they will be able to rebuild their temple and we went to the temple Institute and they showed us the things that they’ve got ready for the temple worship.

And they say they even got the cornerstone. I’ve heard people say they got all the stones already pre-cut and ready to throw that thing together. I’ve never seen it. I haven’t had it verified. I’m just telling you what I’ve heard. And I don’t put much stock in that. So I can’t say, definitely this is what’s done. But they’re looking for the temple to be rebuilt, that’s for sure. And that means that there have to be a peace treaty made where they can have the right to the land, the right to exist as a people, the right to the temple mount, and so that is all coming.

But that peace treated that they made, the Bible says it will be broken. So in verse 15 is the breaking of that peace treaty that’s going to be made with Israel. Jesus is telling this. This is talking about a time that has not yet happened. This is in the future. When He says, and when ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing the holy place, that does it be in Judea, flee into the mountain.

So He talks about fleeing and getting out of Israel. And the reason is because there’s going to be a great move from all the nations to totally, once and for all, annihilate the Jewish people. Now I don’t like that, but that’s still Bible. I don’t write it, I just tell you what it says. And even though they say, never again, these verses right here say, yes, one more time. And there’s never been a time like this. So what Hitler did is not as bad as what’s going to take place.

Because not only will it be upon the nation of Israel and the Jewish people, God’s going to be pouring out his judgment upon the Gentile nations. See what God would do is, He’s got His special little boy. No, Jacob, and his name was changed to Israel, and he got his own. And whenever his child becomes rebellious, God uses these other nations as the rod to chasten his child. And then when he is through with that, then he’s going to use other nations to chasten those nations that chasten his child because the Gentiles have not done any better with all the truth and the knowledge that they have because they are rejecting the truth.

Look at America how blessed we were in the beginning in the founding of this country upon biblical principles in the Constitution that we have and we’ve been so blessed with. we want people, we got people that want to change all of that. They don’t want God in our school, they don’t want the kids to have prayer. Everything that’s clean, decent, you can’t teach the kids anymore. So they’re going to grow up acting like a bunch of wild animals. They’re not going to be disciplined.

They’re going to be rebellious because they’ve never had the fear of the rod across the bottom of that little rear end of theirs. And they don’t feel the pain. And everything is So to them, we got a generation today to think that government owes them everything. The government can’t give you anything until it takes it from you first and it always gives you back less than it took from you. Anyway, I’m not going to get sidetracked today. But you’ll notice this good out through here.

It makes a statement there in verse 21, for then shall be great tribulations such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, nor ever shall be. He’s talking to the nation of Israel. He’s talking to the Jewish people. There’s never been a time like this. This is the chapter that talks about in the book of Jeremiah about the times of Jacob’s sorrows. It’s the tribulation period. It’s the 70th week of Daniel. And then he says this, “‘And except those days should be shortened, “‘there should no flesh be saved.

But for the elects sake, those days should be short. The elects sake, I believe, is that remnant of Israel that God has maintained where there’s Jewish people who have believed in the Lord. And there’s going to be even doing the tribulation period, multitude of people from all nations are going to be killed. But this time is coming. And if God doesn’t intervene, no flesh will be left alive on the face of this earth. I believe that day is coming.

Now, page 2, Zechariah turned to Zechariah in chapter 12. The book of Zechariah in chapter 12. These are some of the notes that you can look at, but I’ll be mainly reading out of the Scriptures here, but Zechariah chapter 12. And we’ll begin there in verse 2. Now remember, Now, this is Old Testament almost 500 years before Christ. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about when they shall be in the seed, both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

And in that day, well, I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone, like a hot potato. You ever pay past the potato, the hot potato? It’s really hot. And you can’t hold it long, so you’ve got to pass it off. Pass the hot potato and the last thing you want to do is be caught with the whole of that hot potato That’s the way it is with Israel all the presidents have talked about how they’re gonna handle this hot potato But once they get into office nobody wants to handle that hot potato Because look at the consequences the world turns against you But I praise the Lord for some of the decisions that Donald Trump has made.

And if somebody says, I don’t think you ought to say that. I don’t care if you don’t like it. I am not a politician, and I don’t play games. I’m talking about from what I know about the book. You take this book away and just like every other ignorant person out there. But I’m not ignorant. I know what the Word of God has to say. And it’s a burdensome stone. We had a chance to even go by the US Embassy.

You had thought you were going in front of the country of America, like flags everywhere. Israel flags and American flags. They’ve got a flower garden near with the American flag. They’re thrilled to death. That they got somebody to try and watch their back. But look what he says here. In verse three, and in that day, I made Jerusalem a hot potato, burdensome stone for all people, all that burdened themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the year be gathered together against it.

The day is coming when all the nations of the earth and that would include America and that would include Britain and all the other nations that right now might be on Israel. So all nations are going to turn against Israel because we’re not going to have Trump forever. Somewhere online, something’s going to take place. You can bet your bottom dollar on that. So these things are going to take place. But now what I want you to see there, look in verse 10, Zechariah chapter 12 verse 10.

Now remember, this was written before Jesus Christ ever came. And he’s talking about down the road and how that Jerusalem is going to be a burdensome stone in verse 10, and I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, and they shall look upon me whom they have what? Now you can say anything you want. That’s not some other prophet. This is talking about Jesus Christ. And this scripture is talking about Jehovah.

You see there in verse 1, the burden of the word of the capital L-O-R-D. That’s Jehovah. That’s the God of Israel. And then when he talks about this all the way through here, and then you get there to verse 10, and I will pour up on the house of David and upon the inhabitants of the Spirit of grace and of supplicate, they shall look upon me whom they have pierced. The one that they pierced was God in the flesh.

God came into this world and God took upon him flesh. That’s called the son of God. He came out of it. I came into this world. He says, this is my only begotten son. So Jesus Christ is coming back again. And he says that when he comes back, he’s going to have the scars already in his hands. So look in chapter 13. Chapter 13 and look there in verse 6. And when he comes back, it says in verse 6, and one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thy hands?

Then he shall answer those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. He was crucified by his own people. This is Old Testament, not New Testament, and I cannot see how a Jewish person can read these scriptures and not see the Messiah. Blows my mind. Now look up here. This is you and me. This is sin. We all have sin upon us. God loves us. Now He hates our sin, but He loves us. I want people to know that that God loves you.

But the pay for sin is eternal separation from God in a literal fire burning hell. But God loves us and wants us to go to heaven. And to go to heaven where you have to be perfect is righteous as God and nobody’s perfect, nobody’s righteous. We’ve all sinned against a holy God and there’s a price to pay. The wages of sin is death. Since we’ve all sinned, we’re all condemned and God says you cannot save yourself. God doesn’t accept any works of man so it’s out of your hands.

If it’s not of works that means it’s out of your hands. You can’t earn it because it’s out of your hands. You cannot save yourself. So So go into church, give money, all those good things, not good enough. You cannot save yourself. That’s why you need a Savior. This hand represents Jesus Christ, God in the flesh. He came into the world because He loved us, but He hates our sin, because our sin separates us from the Lord. So Jesus Christ who had no sin didn’t have to die, but He took all the sins of all the world upon himself and paid for it.

He came back from the dead. You don’t pay for something twice. He’s already paid for all the sins of the world. The only thing he wanted me to do is believe he did it for me. So when I believe he did it for me, he puts the payment to my account. I go to heaven on what he did. I’m not going to heaven on what I do, but what he did. He paid for my sins. So the reason I’m going to heaven because I can’t go to hell, and the reason I can’t go to hell because I don’t have any sins to pay for it.

You see, you don’t deserve that. Grace means you don’t deserve it. You’re saved by God. grace means you don’t merit it means there’s nothing for you to do to try to attain this free gift when he died he died for you and he just wants you know would you believe he did it for you that’s on the level that anybody can have it our guy do is hear the story and believe it and if you’ll believe it he gives to you as a free gift ever lasting life and if it’s ever lasting life how long would it last if it lasts forever and all your sins are paid where would you go when to die.

So can you know before you die where you’re going to go? I’ve known that for 57 years. I’m going to heaven whenever I die. That’s the best news in all the world. Let’s pray, shall we? With every head bowed and every eye closed, no one looking around. If you have never trusted Christ as your Savior, I urge you to do so right now. And so I’m going to ask you in the kindness of this moment, if you will trust the Lord.

Because God says, If you will trust him, he would save you and give you everlasting life. So if you’ve never done so, I would like to have prayer for you. But I’d like to know if what I’ve said may sense to you, the Bible is true. God does love you. Jesus did pay for your sins. Would you believe he did it for you? You see, he’s not asking you to do an impossibility because this is just believing that he did something for you because he loves you that much.

And so with heads bowed nice clothes, if you’ve never done so, I’m gonna ask you, will you trust Jesus Christ right now right where you are? Say, Lord, I believe you did it for me. And friend God said, if you’ll trust him, believe it, he’ll give eternal life. I’m gonna ask you in just a moment to raise your hand. Raising your hand doesn’t save you. It just lets me know that what I said made sense to you and I like to know and I like to have prayer for you in closing.

So is anyone at all this morning, say, preach of that made sense to me, and I will trust Christ as my Savior, and I’d like for you to pray for me in closing. Would you just slip in it very quickly, put a rub back down, anyone at all? Anyone at all? Wait, just a second. Think about it very carefully. It would be a shame to walk out of this room and never trust Christ as your Savior.

Be in the sea that you’ve got a lot of time left. Or you know you can always do it later, not so. And what at all? Our Father we thank you so much for this time together. We ask Your blessings upon each one here. And Father we’re thankful also for all that You’ve done for us, for giving us that free gift of everlasting life, and for paying all our sins so that we never have to face them again. and have forgiven us the ability to be into your family, your child.

And we ask now your blessings upon the service that we’re going to have right now that we’re thankful for what you’ve done for us. In Christ name we pray. Amen.
