We pray that you will enjoy our commitment to the clear gospel of Jesus Christ and that today’s concluding message of this teaching will be a blessing to you and your familyFU. So take your Bible and go over there now to the book of Galatians. Very quickly I just this in Galatians in chapter 3. Because of the promise that God made, and then he says here inActionCode 21, is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid. For if there had been,.

law which could haveIntroduced life, fairly righteousness should have been by the law. But there is no law that was given that would guarantee eternal And yet people are trying to earn their way to heaven. And they cannot accept the fact that their works have absolutely nothing to do with it. But the only way it could be sure to anybody it would have to be freeLater. So to me the truth of the gospel is that it has to be free and it has to last forever.

If it’s not free it’s not the gospel. If it doesn’t last forever it’s not the gospel. So take your Bible and turn to the book of Hebrews. the book of Hebrews in chapter 2. Hebrews chapter 2. And this is why he says there again in chapter 2 and verse 3, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? You see this great salvation and we can get into how great it is, it and that it is. But I believe it also, this is talking about about this great salvation.

The law could not touch. There is no other option. There’s no plan B or C. There’s just plan A and it’s the greatest thing that’s ever come into this world. This so great a salvation. It is so great that it paid for all of our sins all at one time. It is so great that it gives us eternal life and there is a reason for our accepting that and agreeing to that because not to believe it is to despise the gospel of Jesus Christ, not to believe in eternal security, to question and to doubt our salvation is calling God like a liar, which is what is mentioned in book of 1 John in chapter five.

But now, since we have this so great a salvation, tells us about having a high priest and comparing Jesus Christ with the high priest of all and Aaron and his lineage down to the tribe of Levi and how that Jesus was going to be a priest after the order of Melchizedek, which there’s no beginning, there’s no ending, and he received ties of Abraham and and even Levi, the tribe of Levi in neighbor hand, paid ties unto Melchizedek. And I’ll bring out some other stuff about that a little bit later.

But I want you to look now in verse nine of chapter six. Because a man cannot lose salvation, we can go on to maturity. Even though a person has not grown in the Lord, they’re still a child of God. They have not been, you know, their salvation has not been annulled because it can’t, it is sure to every person that believes. And so he says here in verse nine, but beloved, we are persuaded. Better things of you, things that accompany salvation.

Not salvation, but things like bringing forth the blessings that God wants us to, God using us. Otherwise, a life that brings forth briars and thorns is not pleasing to God. And those are things that are going to be a wasted life. And it’s of no profit. And there’s many of God’s children that live their whole life and they’re not profitable to God. They’re not profitable to anybody. They just live and they exist. They go through life and it has nothing to do with the Lord.

Now that is a shame. It’s not what God intended. So he makes a statement here in verse 10, for God is not unrighteous to forget your work and your labor of love. And I mentioned to you that before him. The work is like, and I mentioned this about Jesse working with the ranch, we may go to ranch on some Thursday night and we watch them, they sing a few songs and they will have a message and then somebody trusts the Lord and then afterwards they may play basketball and lo and behold they got some refreshments and all.

Now we might see that’s the work, but that’s not the labor of love that goes into all the work that goes behind the scenes. There’s a lot of work that goes into that and all the prayer and all the work and the money that, you know, there’s a lot of work and then there’s the labor that makes it possible. And so God is not unrighteous to forget our work and labor of love. So you and I are supposed to believe that God wants to bless our life after we’re saved.

And the reason is because we cannot lose our salvation. The reason we can go on to maturity and we don’t have to leg in the foundation of salvation because once your Savior always saved. I believe that is the point that He’s making and that if you don’t believe in eternal security you’ll destroy these scriptures and you got to twist them and make them say something that doesn’t say. Don’t look what He says here in verse 11 and we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end.

In other words, the end of your race, and he gets into that in chapter 12. But in other words, to live your life and full assurance, in other words, keeping your confidence in what God said, what God did, and he gets into the work of the high priest and the payment that Christ made and how that the sacrifice of bulls and goats and so forth. That blood of animals did not take away our sins and didn’t cleanse the conscience, it didn’t make you perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did.

And because of this better, better, better, better all the way through the book of Hebrews, we have a better salvation than any man could ever do. And that’s why we should be thankful for what God has done for us and how the salvation by grace, the best thing in the world. There isn’t anything better than that. So then in verse 12, he says, when you understand this and you hold on to these truths and not, that means you had to believe it at one time, but keep believing it.

How do I know that I’m saved? Well, because Christ died for my sins. How do I know I can’t go to hell on future? Because He paid for all of them. That’s the foundation that gives me this. And I know I have it. Security. In verse 12, that you be not slothful. You ever seen a sloth? What does a sloth do? What did you say, Bob? They are as slow as Christmas. They’re slowing Christmas. and they are sloth. So God says be not slothle.

That means don’t be lazy. Be diligent because time is short. And we ought to be so thankful for what God has done for us and the opportunities that God has put before us and God wants to bless us. And then he says, when we have done our job, we can inherit the promise because there was a promise also of a kingdom upon this earth and we’re gonna get to be part of that. Now, I wantuminum verse 13, because this is the basis of eternal security.

For when God made promise to Abraham, to we’re going back to that promise that he made. And you read the book of Galatians in chapter three, starting in verse six and down to verse eight, for the scripture says how that God preached before the gospel and the Abrahams saying that, you know, he would justify the heathen through faith. And so, blessed are all those that are children of faith. So here in verse 13, and when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he’s swear by himself.

Now, who is higher than God? Who’s greater than God? So since he gets squared by none greater, he’s squared by himself. He said upon who I am, upon my authority. Why should I believe that promise that he made? Look who he is. Look who he is. There’s nobody greater than him that can ever cause We are going thing. That’s the thing is one is there’s none greater than God and that God cannot lie. God can not lie and targ and he made a promise.

So if God promises that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son to whosoever believe it then him should not perish, but have everlasting lifeurations, idavit of God. What do you think that means? Is that a promise? I will not perish. RB. That means I will not go to hell. Look who said it. There’semale greater than God. And He says, I have everlasting life. When you believe it,iblical shall not perish but have everlasting life. Do I believe Him?

It was a\”>. God said it. And it is by grace through faith. And He promised that toheneperham thatoice how a man is going to be saved. When you read chapter 9 of the book of Romans it talks about God’s choice was the electionuggest. God chose to save a man by grace. He never chose to saveigroup man byerenns. And that’s why we can have security. God’s word is a true. Look at this also. Look at verse 14. Say in surely blessing, I.

That’s God. I will bless thee. and multiplying, I will multiply thee.” In other words, it’s based upon God. God promised, this is what I’m going to do and made promises to Abraham. And in chapter 15 of the book of Genesis, it saysparser Abraham went out and God Cosponsors revealed him and toldBeyon to count the stars in his number of number of them and God promised them something because of the seed883 and that seed which is Christ. And Abraham knew about }; what’s so miracle about that?

Moses knew about Christ in chapter 11 of the book of Hebrews. The steam andventory approach of Christ################################ Moses refused to call himself of the children of Israel and chose to take his stand and suffer the affliction and he believed that what he was going to have with Christ was going to be far better than all the treasures of Egypt.” Look He had patiently endured, He obtained the promise. It was years, but there was aincial promise made. And where is Abraham today?

Where is Abraham? I think he’s in heaven. He hadn’t got to kingdom yet, but it’s been promised. And I believe he’s going to literally be here. VICE says in Matthew chapter 8 that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will come and their Gentiles come from the east and west. We’re going to with them in the kingdom. Now look what else he says here. Is there a lot of questions with a lot of people on whether you really have eternal security orIRTUE you’re saved today you can be lost tomorrow andotiation And people are always questioning and the conflict.

Are all churches preaching the same gospel? One guy commented on the site, I’d like to help somebody explain about 20 different kinds of gospels in the New Testament. Well I didn’t know there was that many times because it doesn’t understand. But look what we have here in verse 16. men, fairly swear by the greater. In other words, If I tellovember something, you won’t believe me. Look, I swear on mySupplement’s grave. Now you know I wouldn’t liend about that, right?

I swear on a stack of Bibles. One Bible’s not enough, but a stack of them. That’ll reallynsic mean that I really meant),” what I said. Or go to the.*Bankin’ say, I wanna borrow $10,000 gunned predicament and on the authority li- of Steve Yant. Devian says Breitbart, what’s your not? Well the bank take that or just let look, let’s just look at each other in the eye and shake hands on it. They want you to sign your wife to sign your kids to sign your dog to sign cat to sign they want everybody on that thing.

Why they want security. . . . . . . . . . Security, why? Because they don’t believe you. They don’t trust you. They want something that you can mortgage. So they want to guarantee they can get their money back. Well anyway, as we’re moving right along, I want you to notice there’s a statement mentioned here that you need to look at. He says, and an oath of confirmation is to them, and you ought to underline this phrase, and end of all strife.

What Christ has done, the sacrifice He made, the promise God the Father made should be an end to all strife. There should be no misunderstanding of what God meant. and there’s people and a lot of preachers that are ashamed of the truth of the gospel and they say things that God did not say and there’s a lot of people talking about you can lose your salvation. You cannot lose your salvation and God have mercy on Removed the Church of the Gospel.

And by not telling people the truth of the gospel, the truth of the gospel is that God will save you by grace and it’s forever. It never has to be done again. So look what this verse says here. The last part of verse 16, comforting to them an end of all strife. In other words, if you shake hands on it, as opposed to be an end of all strife, we agree. Well, when you accepted Christ as your Savior, you are accepting the terms of that agreement.

I accept it, then God’s Word is going to perform. He gives you that new birth, He gives you eternal life, you become His child, you’re made pure and holy, you’ll go to heaven whenever you die and when He shows up you’re going to be just like Him. Guaranteed on the authority of His Word when He could swear by no greater. And as He says here in verse 18, that by two immutable things in which it was impossible for God to lie.

And we get this, we might have a strong a strong consolation, a great encouragement that what God promised, He will perform. And I don’t have to worry. I don’t have to be afraid. I don’t have to question. I don’t have to doubt because there’s none greater than God and God cannot lie. And he says it would give us strong consolation of great peace and great joy knowing that we ought to all be encouraged. I know where I’m going when I die.

I don’t have to fear death at all. I am not afraid to die. It may come sooner, it may be a while. I don’t know and I don’t care. I’m in God’s hands and I just trust the Lord for it. And look what He says here. And He says some other things that are strong. All this is eternal security. Why we should know we have a salvation, so great a salvation. So He says here in verse 18 that by two immutable things in which it was impossible for God to lie.

We might have a strong consolation, get this, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us. This hope, this joyful anticipation that because of who promised it, I can know I can count on it. Remember not long ago I preached a whole sermon on the word hope, on the word hope. It’s not like I hope I’m going to heaven, I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope no hope. No, but based upon who said it, it’s a guarantee.

God said that if I believe I have everlasting life, Lord, I believe it. When does God give me this everlasting life? The moment I believe. And if I have everlasting life, He said, He’ll never cast them out and never lose me. And I give them them eternal life and they shall never perish. God said who is over God to override God. You read Romans in chapter 8, who is greater than God? God, He’s the one who justified me. Well, cry, well, He’s the one who died for me.

The Holy Spirit is the one who gave me my new birth. So if the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit can’t take it away from me, is there any man that can take it away? And then when you read those following verses around 37, 38, 39, and so forth, at the end of chapter 8, and He He says, what can separate us? What can separate? What can take your salvation away? What can separate you from God? Nothing! It’s a guarantee.

And that’s what makes it good news. And I despise all these people that sound so intelligent that get on Facebook and stake all these things. Don’t they understand the gospel? Anyway, look what we have here. Look in verse 19, which hope we have as an anchor of the soul. That’s security, the anchor of the soul. In other words, it’s me. I am anchored within the veil. So somebody went inside of that and by my faith in what went into the veil, which was Christ himself.

He went into the presence of God and made a payment for the sins of the world and shed his blood and he unknown in the altar and therefore I am safe and secure. My soul is anchored. You heard that song, the anchor holes, Bob Brooks, then you’ll come up here and sing it tonight. My anchor holes, not because of my strength, but because of who it’s anchored to. Now next two words, look at this. The anchor of the soul, get to both sure and what?

That’s my guarantee. That’s why I know I have eternal life and I know I’m going to heaven and all this is written so that we can know what we have and so great a salvation, this security that God’s given to us. He says, and which enter into that within the vacuum. And in verse 20, even Jesus. See, Jesus is the one. And we have trusted Him. And He has done all of this for me. This is why we know we have this eternal security and this eternal security is what makes this so great a salvation.

You see, if you can lose your salvation, then Christ didn’t pay for all of our sins. Then He was a high priest that didn’t do the job. In verse 20, whether the forerunner is for us, for us entered Jesus, made in high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. In other words, He’ll never change. He is a high priest after the order of an endless life. An endless life means that he never stops. What he is, and I mentioned somebody the other day, I said, Jesus Christ, the scars in his hands and in his feet.

That’s my proof of payment. He is my receipt. I’ve got a receipt in his Christ. He was my payment for my sins. And he said, he had never leave me and never forsake me. How long do I have my receipt? How long will it be good for? Forever and forever and forever and forever. That’s how I know I have eternal life. That’s why I believe that the gospel is eternal security. And that’s what makes it such a good news to tell.

Who in the world wants to tell people, hey look, you trust Christ to save you, you may Him guarantee you, you’ll be saved You’ll be saving till you sin again. You’re saving till you lose it. No, you’re safe forever. And then automatically somebody, somebody, I’m sent to you. Yeah, but you’re trying to tell me you go out here and live like you please. Is that all people got on their mind? But they’ll ask the question, and that might be the first inkling that they might be understanding of what you’re saying because of this salvation.

salvation. Why do you think it’s in there? What sore punishment do you suppose he should receive who has done despite unto the Spirit of grace? Talking to the believer who knows this and understands and then you know goes astray and what that does to the Lord. It’s, it’s like walking up to Jesus Christ and then then haul off and slapping him as hard as you can to do despise unto this message message that God’s given to us. To question and to doubt our salvation is not a wise thing to do.

It means you’re calling God alive. You don’t believe what He said. You don’t believe what He did was sufficient and that God’s not going to keep His promise. If God promises eternal life, when we trust the Christ as our Savior, do you believe you have eternal life? You believe it’s forever? He made a payment for all of our sins. And as we go through some these things in Hebrews. You’ll see page after page after page, the premise is all based upon eternal security.

Look what they’re in chapter 5 and we’ll close here. Chapter 5, look what it says in verse 9, and being made perfect, he became the author of temporary salvation, the author of eternal Security. Eternal Salvation. 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 There is no other salvation. And what he’s doing is showing you why it’s eternal salvation. God doesn’t save anybody temporarily.

He doesn’t give anybody temporary life. Or until you send again, he gives you eternal life and will never perish. And our hope is in the Lord who says there is none greater than Him, so He’s swear by Himself. This is what I promised Abraham. I will justify the heathen by faith alone, not by their works, and I’ll give them eternal life as a free gift. Look at this hand represent you and me. The wallop represents sin. We all have sin on us.

Now God loves us. Now He hates our sin. And for us to pay for sin is He separation from the Lord in Hell. God wants us to have eternal life, wants us to go to heaven. So we go to heaven based upon what Jesus Christ did for us. God says we cannot save ourselves. This end representing Christ, yes, He came into the world. He was perfect, had no sin. So He took all of ours and paid for it on the cross.

How many of our sins did it take? All. and paid for every one of our sins, came back from the dead, and said that if we would believe He did it for us, He would put the payment to our account. Now what He did was He paid for our sins. What He said is that if we would believe it, He’d give us eternal life. So simple. Eternal life. Never parrot. Never go to hell. That’s how I know I’m going to heaven.

But there’s a lot of things in understanding all of this and you can go as deep as you want to, but there’s great simplicity to the whole message where sinners, he’s not. We are, he’s not. He took our sins and paid for it. He said, will you believe I did that for you? And when we believe it, it’s put to our account, we go to heaven on what Christ did for us. That’s good news. Let’s pray, show me. With his bow eyes closed and no one looking around.

If you’ve never trusted Christ as your Savior, I know most of you in the room, but there may be somebody watching by internet, or one of these days this message might be on radio or on YouTube, never known. And we want people to understand. The only thing they have to do to go to heaven is to believe that what Christ did, He did it for them. And He would give them eternal life right now, the very moment they trust Him as their Savior.

And He’ll save you from hell and give you eternal life and you can know that you’re going to heaven. It’s a gift of God. It’s not a works list, any man should boast. If you believe it right now, God saves you right now. If you’re watching by the internet right on the screen says, yes, I’ll trust Christ as my Savior. If this makes sense to you, we’d love to know it. Father, we thank you again for your blessings. Thank you for all you’ve done for us.

For this time together, we pray Lord for the special for those that are not able to be with us tonight because they’re not feeling well. Whatever the problem may be, we pray that you touch their bodies and heal them, to raise them up. We pray that all the churches there are around, that many people would choose to come here and miraculously understand the gospel, maybe hearing it for the first time, and that they would trust your Savior. Thank you for Jesse and all the work he’s doing with the young people in.
